Chapter 29 - Jealousy Is An Ugly thing
Nathan's POV - May 2nd
Well, Bella & Troy's joint 18th birthday that happened about 1 week ago, went great, and then there was another party yesterday for Kat's 17th, next birthday is Ryland's 17th, then my 16th in 20 days,
"Hey mum, dad I need to talk to you," Troy said as he came into the room where we all were,
"Whats up?" Mum asked holding Gabe,
"Well, I've been thinking about since just before my birthday, and I decided that um, I wanna look for an apartment," He said and we all went silent,
"An apartment, but how, what about college?" Dad asked,
"I'm still going to college, I mean, I told you all I decided to take a course at Seaford college for a year and then go to New York University next year," He said,
"How are you gonna afford to pay the rent on an apartment?" Mum asked,
"Well, I spoke to Wyatt & Christopher and we agreed to be roommates, we've all got part time jobs, and with the money saved us we can afford to get an apartment," He said,
"Wow, um, well, if your sure about it, then, okay," Mum said,
Kat's POV - Monday - May 3rd
"Hey guys," Chelsea said smiling as she sat down at the lunch table with me, Maddy, Rylan, Scarlett & Nathan.
"Whats got you all smiling?" Aunt Scarlett asked smiling,
"The fact that I have a new boyfriend," She said.
"What since when?" I asked a little surprised,
"Since last night, you remember that date with Bruno that I went on?" She said and I nodded, "Well, it went better than expected," She smiled,
"So you two are definately official?" Maddy asked and she nodded,
"Hey babe," Bruno said and gave her a Very intimate kiss and I looked away, "You wanna skip?" He asked,
"I dont know.." She said a bit nervously,
"Come on, live a little," He said and she nodded,
"Your right, Nate cover for me in class," She said and walked away with Bruno,
"I hate that guy," Nathan said,
"Why?" Ryland asked,
"Because, he's an idiot, and he doesnt deserve Chelsea, all he ever does is date a girl until she sleeps with him and then he dumps her," He said annoyed,
"Chelsea's not dum, she wont sleep with him," Maddy said,
"Yeah well, if he even tries anything, I'll kill him," He said,
Wyatt's POV
"Hey baby," Jessica said walking up to me at my locker and I smiled,
"Hey babe," I said smiling and kissed her,
"So, hows Lewis & Eliza?" She asked,
"Okay, very loud, so I cant wait to get my own apartment," I said,
"What?" She asked confused,
"Didnt I tell you, me, Chris & Troy agreed to start looking for an apartment and be roommates," I said,
"Oh right, yeah you mentioned it the other day, how's that going?" She asked,
"Hectic, still looking, but I'm hoping that we'll find one after graduation," I said and she nodded,
Kat's POV - 5pm
"Hey, whats up with you?" I asked Nathan sitting down next to him in the lounge and he took out his headphones,
"What do you mean?" He asked confused,
"You've been acting weird ever since Chelsea told us she was dating Bruno," I said and noticed he tensed at the mention of it,
"Thats not true," He denied,
"Uh yes it is, all you've done all day since lunch is mope around upset, I mean, why are you so bothered about Chelsea dating Bruno?" I asked,
"Its not about Chelsea dating Bruno, it has nothing to do with Bruno!" He said,
"Well what, since when did you have a problem with Chelsea dating-" I cut myself when I came to the realisation of what was wrong, "Wait, are you jealous?" I asked,
"Jealous of what? Jealous of guys kissing Chelsea, holding her, calling her there's, no thats ridiculas," He said,
"Oh my god, you are, your jealous, you like Chelsea, since when?" I asked,
"I'm not jealous!" He exclaimed,
"Yes you are, it all makes sense now, why your not mad about her dating Bruno, but why your mad at her dating in general," I said smirking and chuckled,
"Thats not true," He denied,
"Yes it is! Yes it is! Admit it come on Nathan!" I said smiling,
"Okay fine, it might be a little true," He admitted,
"Finally!" I said smiling and he rolled his eyes,
"Yeah whatever," He said,
"Well?" I asked,
"Well what?" He asked confused,
"Well, what are you going to do about it?" I asked,
"Nothing," He shrugged,
"Eh? What do you mean nothing? You like Chels, dont you wanna I dont know, fight for her?" I asked,
"Whats the point? Chelsea doesnt like me, I'll just make a fool of myself," He stated,
"No you wont," I said,
"How do you know that?" He asked,
"Because, Because..." I trailored not knowing what to say,
"Exactly, look just let it go Kat, please," He said and walked out the room and I sighed,
hope you like it, I almost didn't upload today, because something sad happened, a friend of mine from primary, not gonna use his really name so lets call him, Johnny, his older brother, who I also went to school with, committed suicide on Good Friday, I know it may seem stupid that I'm upset, its just, I've never known someone so young to commit suicide, I mean, my sister tried to commit suicide but luckily she survived,
