"Just what the fuck?"
"Language, Kagami-kun"
Kagami huffed in frustrated, which was what some of the people in the room was feeling.
After the incidents at the onsen, they all came back indoor. Now they were all sitting in their room while Akashi said he was going to 'have a talk' with Midorima's father and informing their teams about the new problem they were facing. Kagami was sitting on his mattress beside Kuroko and Furihata. Murasakibara had already gone asleep on his mattress while Himuro was still awake. Takao and Midorima were also there, sitting beside Aomine and Kise.
"Well...I cannot say that I'm pleased with this situation."
Midorima said, adjusting his glasses while his ears perked back and forth. He was also unaware of Takao taking photos of him by his phone (in silent mode of course).
"Finally I have heard you say something reasonable, four eyes."
Kagami said from where he was sitting. Midorima frowned at his words.
"And what do you mean by that? I'm not four eyes!"
"Hrh?" Kagami smirked. "Giant Rabbit then"
"I'm not!"
"Umm... Super-Giant-Green-Hair-Four-Eyes-Rabbit?"
"I'm definitely not that horrible creature you have said!"
"I got it. Then you are a Super-Tall-Giant-Green-Hair-Four-Eyes-Super-Ultra-Maxima-Tsundere-Rabbit."
"I AM NOT!"
Well, if Midorima was looking around, he would have seen that everyone (excepted for a sleeping Murasakibara), especially Takao, were trying their hardest not to laugh. However, Takao still couldn't suppress a giggle. And a red face Midorima suddenly turned to glare at him before turning his attention back to a smirking Kagami.
"Any problems here?"
But before Midorima would go choke Kagmi, the door was opened and Akashi entered.
"No"
Midorima said while others hid their giggle. Akashi just nodded and sat down beside Furihata, caused the smaller of the two to jump.
"I have phoned my father." Akashi said. "Shintarō's father has just gone back to Osaka this evening, entering the conference and would be able to come back the day after tomorrow. I phoned him and he promised to come back with a cure or an antidote."
"Sound good but I wonder how he managed to turn us if he wasn't even here." Himuro said. "I remember didn't touch or eat anything strange. How did he manage to infect us all with his drugs? Considering we're all from different provinces and ways."
"I didn't say he did it." Akashi shrugged. "I did it myself."
"What?!"
It's 11pm. It's bed time, and yet some of them still couldn't find how they could sleep.
Aomine laid awake beside a sleeping Kise. He was thinking about what he just had known. Akashi's voice was being replayed in his head.
'I figured it would be a good chance to make you all understand each other feeling when they were small. Don't worry, it's the same drugs like the first dose that I was infected. But in Shintarō's case, it's my mistake. I tended to give it to Kazunari, but because he offered you his drink in the afternoon, you're changed again. However, your body might have created some kind of an antibody for that drug, so it's not all of your body that are changed.'
At that point, everyone was beyond shock. But the red hair still continued his speech smoothly.
'Don't worry. The day after tomorrow the cure will arrive. You can take a trip to my house tomorrow to wait for the cure if you want.'
"Damn you Akashi."
Aomine chuckled, watching a sleeping Kise snuggled close to him. The Ace of Tōō chuckled again before he scopped Kise to sleep with him in the same mattress. The blond smiled and rested his head on Aomine's shoulder, nuzzled his chin unconsciously.
"I quite understand your purpose right now Akashi."
Aomine smiled to Kise's action before he nuzzled the blond back and decided to sleep as well. Tomorrow they're going to Akashi's house, that's gonna be fun.
The other one who was still awake was Furihata. He was afraid. He had seen that Akashi was looking, no, watching him with some unreadable emotions behind his eyes that scared him. His ears flapped and he felt himself shivered with fear. [Well, I forgot to tell you guys that Furihata was a squirrel with a very fluffy tail XD]
Furihata sighed and tried to find a best position to sleep. He didn't know what he would meet at Akashi's house or what was in the red head's mind. And he already had a bad feeling about it.
The trip to Akashi's house was smooth. In the morning, two limo arrived to take their passenger. Akashi, Midorima, Takao, Murasakibara and Himuro got in the first car while others got in the second. Most of them were still sleepy, so most of the time was spent in silent. Kise and Kagami slept liked a rock on Aomine and Kuroko's laps. Furihata sat awkwardly between the former Teikou players.
They arrived at Akashi's house nearly at lunch time. The super polite butler came out to greet them. Akashi gave orders with just nods and the butler understood it perfectly. He called other servants to fetch their belonging and Akashi leaded them into the house.
They then entered into the old Japanese house. The house was very large and ancient. They walked passed corridors after corridors to end up in front of a large living room.
"Wait here."
Akashi said emotionlessly and opened the door. He walked in and the servant inside closed it.
"His house is huge."
Aomine said while looking around, a sleeping Kise was carefully protected in his arms. Kuroko nodded while Murasakibara just looked around, bored as always.
"I rather call it a castle, or some kind of places."
Himuro said from Murasakibara's back.
"Well said, a cat hanging on a titan's back."
Aomine smirked.
"What?" Kagami who was looking around turned to him, confused. "What is a titan? You mean those god from Greek's myths?"
"No, he doesn't." Kuroko answered. "He's comparing Murasakibara to those giants in 'Attack on Titan'. It's one of the famous anime right now."
"Okayy"
Kagami nodded and continued to observe this giant house. He's impressed, almost.
Furihata who was standing near Kuroko looked around as well. His fluffy ears perked at every sound he heard. It's not that he's afraid, he's super afraid. Furihata knew that Akashi had something on his mind, something that he would be involved whether he wanted it or not.
Midorima also looked at Furihata with a lot of worries in his mind, but none of them were showed. The green hair shooter knew what Akashi was up to, but he didn't know that he should try to convince the red hair not to proceed it or just let him be. Maybe he had to wait longer, so he could decide it better.
A minute later, Akashi came out. He looked happy and pleased. His father followed shortly. The two red hair resembled the same air of calmness but also authority. They're both the superiors here.
"Greeting, my son's friends."
The head of the Akashi clan said. His mismatched eyes looked at everyone calmly, but calculating.
"I'm sorry that my son decided to play some pranks. However, the cure should arrived soon, let us have lunch and some rests, shall we?"
They all knew that it was not a question, or an advice. It's an inviting, also an order. If there was something that both Akashis were good at, it's making an order looked like a question.
The room they had lunches was huge and well furnished. The food was great and the head of the Akahi clan wasn't as scary as he looked. They found out that he was funnier and more of joke telling type than his son. However, his superior aura still remained all the time.
After the enjoyable lunch, both Akashi leaded them to the living room and gave them a permission to stay there or exploring a house while they were gone to do some business. Both Akashis also said that when the servants had finished prepared bedrooms for guests, they would send someone to take them there.
Of course Aomine took a chance to take a nap while Kise still wanted to play. The blond have already slept for hours. In the end, Kise ended up playing domino with Kagami, Kuroko, Furihata, Himuro and Takao. Midorima took his time to read some books he found in the room while Murasakibara decided to take a nap liked Aomine.
Furihata enjoyed the game until he felt like wanting to use a restroom. Kuroko said that he wanted to use the restroom too, so they went out together.
"The Akashi is, well, amazing." Furihata said while they're walking passed many corridors after they had asked a servant that walked passed them where the nearest restroom was.
Furihata used the restroom first. After he got out and Kuroko got in, Furihata walked around, looking at the beautiful picture hanging above on the wall. He was going to get closer to take a close look when he heard a girl voice calling from behind.
"Hey! Little squirrel!"
Furihata turned and he saw a red hair girl about his age [his age in his normal body] standing meters away from him. She was wearing a beautiful dress while her hair was tied to a twin tails. Her eyes were both red while her skin was flawless.
"Eh?"
Furihata pointed at himself, feeling stupid because he already knew he was a squirrel she said.
"Yes, I mean you."
The girl walked closer, she pointed at him.
"Are you Sei-kun's friend, Furihata-kun?"
"Yes?" Furihata nodded. However, he had a feeling that this girl was up to something and that was definitely not good for him. "How do you know my name?"
"Oh, I Sei-kun told me." The girl flashed him a dangerous smile and Furihata immediately took a step back. "He's all about you, you know? How many times you have bent over a table for him?"
"I what?"
Furihata was totally confused. He didn't understand her words at first, but then it all sank in.
"No!" He shouted. Furihata didn't know this girl was asking because she really thought that or she just wanted to humiliate him, but his face was already red with both embarrassment and anger. "I have never done anything likes what you said!"
"Likes I will believe it, whore!" The girl said and grinned. "However, I would put an end to this. I wouldn't let you make his name dirty or paint your shit on our name by seductive him to do such a thing."
Before Furihata could do anything. The girl put a whistle in her mouth and blew. A giant Rottweiler appeared behind her and growled at Furihata.
"Kill him!"
The girl said and the dog lunged forward. Furihata immediately fled.
Akashi Seijuroo was discussing some business of the Akashi's family which he would be running it one day with his father when he heard Daichi barked. Daichi was the smartest dog he had owned, and it always knew when something was wrong and he should know.
"Something is wrong."
His father also got the dog's message. Normally, while staying in the same room with them, Daichi would find himself somewhere comfortable and laid down but kept his ears and eyes up for anything. And this time, Daichi was barking at the door. The two red hairs walked to the door. Akashi Seijuroo pulled it opened and walked out with Daichi running ahead of him.
Then he saw what Daichi was trying to tell him. At the other corridor, he saw Furihata running for his life with a Rottweiler chasing after him. It wouldn't be long before the dog would catch up and finished its job.
"Daichi!"
The Rakuzan's captain shouted and the dog got his massage. Daichi ran ahead with him followed behind. Akashi Seijuroo hadn't felt such anger and feared in his life when he saw Furihata being chased by a dog that was trained to kill. And he would make whoever ordered this dog paid for it.
Furihata thought that he was going to be dead in any second. He's losing strength just from a short running at full speed with a dog chasing after. He kept running passed corridors after corridors, hoping to find some place to hide or returned to his friends. But after a lot of turning, he knew he was lost.
Then he saw another dog coming in front of him, this time it's a German shepherd. But there was no way to turn, all he could do was kept running.
However, seconds after he saw a dog, he also saw Akashi ran after it. Maybe Akashi was coming to save him. Furihata tried to shout for help when his legs gave up and he fell down. Furihata braced himself for the teeth but the jumped over him and landed itself in front of the Rottweiler. The first dog still charged in and the German shepherd also charged in to stop it.
"Stop!"
Then there was a voice, full of authority, shouted from above his head. Furihata wasn't sure ehat happened next, but he was held up in a pair of strong arms. He lifted his head up and saw that it's Akashi who was holding him. Furihata knew now that he was saved and secured, but he didn't know what to do, how to tell the other how much he wanted to thank you. In the end, he cried from both relief and fear.
"It's okay. You're safe now."
Akashi said to the person who was crying on his shoulder. He held Furihata firmly and felt that other was trying to hug him as tight as possible. Akashi nuzzled Furihata's brown hair and tightened his arms while whispered suiting words into other's ear.
"It's ok. You're with me."
Akashi kept whispering suiting words into other's ear. The dogs had stopped fighting since he told them to stop and now was waiting for orders at his feet. The Rottweiler was still comfused, but Akashi orders came before others, so he obeyed and waited. The German shepherd was looking at his master thoughtfully. It didn't understand the whole stories, but it knew that its master cared for this person very much.
There was a footstep and both dogs got up with all alert. Akashi took his eyes from the snall child in his arm and saw that it's Kuroko who was running to them.
"Akashi-kun! You got him!"
"Tetsu" Akashi said. "Tell me what heappened."
"Furihata-kun and I went to the restroom." Kuroko said. "He went in first then me. When I was washing my hand, I heard a dog barked. When I got out, I saw him being chased by a Rottweiler along the corridor and was turning at the corner. I tried to follow but they're fast and I lost them around the forth turn."
"Did you see who ordered the dog?"
Akashi asked calmly, but his eyes showed rage and anger.
"I'm not sure." Kuroko said. "But I think I saw a girl with a red hair walking at the other side of the corridor when I came out of the restroom."
"Oh, that girl." Akashi said with a nod. His voice was cold, colder than Kuroko had ever heard. "I know now. It's time I should pay a 'visit' to my cousin."
