Chapter 30 - Break Ups & Double Dates
Kat's POV - May 8th - Saturday
I was sat on my bed at 10am when Chelsea burst into my room.
"I hate him!" She exclaimed,
"Who?" I asked,
"Bruno, I hate that cheating ass!" She exclaimed and my eyes widened,
"What!? He cheated on you, with who?!" i asked,
"Some slut from school, I went over to his house to see him, and there he was making out with some fake blonde on his bed," She said,
"What did you do?" I asked her,
"I broke up with him right after I slapped him," She said and I nodded,
"Good, he doesnt deserve you anyway Chels, you deserve someone better," I said and she sighed,
"If there even is someone nice out there," she sighed,
"What, of coure there is," I said and smiled when I got a brilliant Idea, "I have a great idea," I added,
"What?" She asked,
"You need some cheering up, me, Ryland, you & Nate will go out for something to eat tonight, have some dinner yeah," I said and she nodded sighing, "Good, we'll go to a restuarant so dress up, have a shower, do your make up and come back here when your done," I said pushing her out my room and downstairs out the front door before heading to Nathan's room, "Hey, get ready, us and some friends are going out for dinner tonight at The Olive Garden," I said and walked out before he could even reply,
"Is this really gonna work?" Ryland asked me as I did my lap minute touch ups on my hair at 6, as we waited for Chelsea to arrive,
"Yes, we will go to the resturant, and there will be a 'mix-up' with the reservations, so instead of 1 table for 4, they will have 2 tables of 2, we will have our dinner whilst keeping an eye on Chelsea & Nate, and then after I will suggest a walk in the park, we will do our thing whilst they do there thing," I said and smiled at my reflection,

"Kat! Chelsea's here!" Mum yelled up the stairs and I grabbed hold of Ryland's hand and we headed downstairs shouting Nate on the way,
"Hey Chels," I said smiling, "Nice outfit," I said looking her over and nodding in approvle,
"Thanks," She chuckled,

"So when are we going?" She asked,
"Now, Nathan!" I exclaimed and we could hear footsteps walking down the stairs, and Nathan came into view, "Good, now lets go," I said and we all walked outside and to Ryland's car, I was in the passenger seat and Chelsea & Nathan in the back,
"Where are we going?" Nathan asked,
"Olive Garden, I told you before, pay attention," I said and he rolled his eyes at me and after another few minutes we arrived at the resturant walking inside, "Reservation for Brewer," I said,
"Oh right, 2 tables of 2," He said,
"What?" Chelsea asked confused,
"I'm sorry but I ordered a table of 4," I said,
"Oh I'm very sorry Miss Brewer, it seems there has been a mix-up in reservations, we only have the 2 tables of 2 left," He said,
"It doesnt matter, we'll just go pizza hut or something," Chelsea shrugged,
"No, we cant do that, look um, we'll take the tables, Chels, Nate, you two take one and we'll take the other, okay," I said and before they could reply me & Ryland walked over to our table and they hesitantly followed the waitor to their table, "Step 1, done," I smirked
Nathan's POV
"Wow, this all seems really nice," Chelsea said looking over the menu and I nodded,
"It does doesnt it, what are you having?" I asked her,
"I think, I'm gonna have the lasagne," She said and I nodded as the waitor came over,
"Hello I'm Brad and I'll be your waitor tonight, What can I get you?" he asked,
"I will have the Shepherds Pie, and she will have the lasagne," I said and he nodded writing it down before walking away, "So, how are you & Bruno?" I asked trying to contain my jealousy,
"We um, we broke up this morning, I found him cheating on me," She explained, and my eyes widened,
"What?! I cant believe he did that, I'm gonna kill him," I said angrily,
"No Nate, relax its fine, I didnt really like him that much anyway," She shrugged and I nodded,
"Well, he didnt deserve you, I never liked him," I said and she smiled,
"Thanks," She said smiling,
"You welcome," I said smiling back.
Kat's POV
"They look like there having a good time," I said to Ryland,
"Thats make 1 of us," He sighed and I looked at him,
"What wrong?" I asked confused,
"All you've been doing is worrying about Chelsea & Nate, and you have completed ignored your boyfriend, I mean you do realise that this is the first time in ages that we've been able to go on a date together?" He said and I realised he was right,
"Your right, I'm sorry, I guess I'm just really obsessed with getting Nate & Chels together, but your right, I should be mor focused on us," I said smiling at him and he smiled kissing my hand,
"Hey guys," Nate said as he and Chels walked over to us, "We're gonna get going, this place is way to boring for us," He said and Chelsea nodded in agreement,
"How are you gonna get home?" I asked,
"We're just gonna walk, I'll see you at home," He said and they both walked out,
Chelsea's POV
"Where are we going?" I asked
"To the beach," He said smiling,
"Why?" I asked,
"Because It's the best place to walk, duh," He said as if it was obvious and I just chuckled,
"Come on," He said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the entrance of the beach and I laughed at his eagerness,
"So um, you never actually told me why you and Alycia broke up?" I said to Nate as we walked, me holding my heels in my left hand, and my right hand still intwined with his left,
"Yeah I did," He said,
"No, you said she broke up with you for Jerome, but I think we both know that isnt true," I said and he sighed,
"She broke up with me, because of the fact, that I didnt want to have sex," He said shocking me,
"What?!" I exclaimed,
"Yeah, she wanted us to sleep together on New Years Eve, and I said no because I wasnt ready, and she just went mad at me saying how I was lying and that I wasnt attracted to her, and all sorts," He said and I nodded, "You probably think I'm lame now, a 16 year old boy who doesnt want to have sex yet," He said sighing,
"No, I dont think your lame, lots of people think that its Girls who should be worried about having sex, but guys are as well, I mean, its your virginity," I said and he nodded, "If it makes you feel better, I'm a virgin, and I'm proud to say so, I dont want to lose my virginity until I'm 100% ready," I said and he smiled,
"You know, I think this is the longest amount of time we've spent together," He said and I looked at him,
"I know, it's weird considering we've known each other since we were born," I said chuckling as did he, "Wow," I said noticing the view. "Its gorgeous," I stated, the sun was setting and there was a mix of colors in the sky as the sun set, after about 10 minutes the sun had finally set and the sky was now dark with stars shining bright, due to the fact that it was night, the wind picked up a little and I shivered,
"Are you cold?" Nathan asked me,
"No I'm fine," I lied, and he must of noticed because he took of his jacket and placed it around my shoulders and I smiled snuggling into the nice smelling material, "Thank you," I mumbled and he smiled winking,
"You welcome,"
Nathan's POV
Me & Chels were sat at the end of the pier talking,
"The sky is really beautiful," She said smiling,
"It's not the only thing," I said looking at her and she turned to me and blushed, I stared at her for a few more moments admiring her beauty before I finally leaned in, I noticed she did to, and just when we were about to kiss, my phone rang, "Son of a..." I mumbled under my breath taking my phone out of my pocket, "What?!" I said frustrated,
"Excuse me," Mum said surprised,
"Sorry, whats up?" I asked in a nicer tone,
"Poppy's gone in to labour, you need to come to the hospital," She said,
"Okay, we're on our way," I said hanging up before quickly sending a text to Kat, before looking at Chelsea, "Poppy's in labour," I said and she nodded as we both stood up, we were walking when I grabbed hold of Chelsea's arm and pulled her into my chest,
"Whoa," She said shocked, and I smiled before placing my lips on hers in a soft and passionate kiss, she was still at first but quickly responded kissing me back, I smiled inwardly as her hands moved to my hair pulling causing me to groan before pulling away,
"Figured it was about time we did that," I said smirking and she smiled blushing as I put my arm around her and we headed to the hospital
Yay! We have a kiss! About time!, and yes, Poppy has gone into labour! You will meet the baby very soon !
