A/N: Sorry again for the delay on progress for this story. I work on it in between projects of mine. I have also moved to Alaska in the last year, so it's been very busy. However, I had new inspiration for this chapter. I hope you all enjoy! Hoping to start updating more often as I'm about to finish up one of my many projects. Hope you all are doing well!

Disclaimer* I do not own any Twilight character. I only own Amelia, William, Margaret and Julius. They are of my own imagination.

Amelia walked into the quaint little cabin. William was such a gentleman on the way here. Explaining about his wife, Margaret and himself. She enjoyed the distraction from the darkness around them. It kept her mind off of Carlisle and Julius. There would be no way they could find her. She realized walking back how vast the woods really were. That's why William and Margaret had built their home out here. They enjoyed the solitude. Once a week they would make a trip into town for supplies and to go to Church. They would stay in their son's cottage overnight as the marketplace was not open on Sundays.

Amelia felt more at ease knowing that William's offer was true. The cabin was warm as the fire was going when they arrived a few minutes ago. She still hadn't met his wife. William went up to their private quarters to get her. She took in the sights of the cabin. They didn't have much but what they did, looked worn from use. Living out here, she wondered what they did.

"Amelia?" William's voice sounded behind her. She turned and he stood there with someone who looked much younger than him. The hair on the back of her neck stood. She had the same pale skin as Julius and Carlisle. "This is my wife Margaret."

Amelia watched as Margaret approached her, holding out her hand. She took it and noticed Amelia was cooler than she should be in this warm cabin. Her smile was gentle but that didn't stop the fear rising in Amelia. She felt a wave of calmness rush over her. The last time this happened, she was in the company of a vampire. "You're one of them," she backed up.

Margaret had a look of surprise on her face. "What did you say?" her voice was velvety smooth. Amelia looked over at William who stood behind her. Fear crossed his face.

"You're a – a,"

"How do you know about them?" William asked, closing in behind his wife.

"Because the leaders are hunting Carlisle and I."

"Carlisle Cullen?"

Amelia backed up, "How do you know his name?"

"He's wanted, word was sent about. You, you are the one they are really after. You can't stay here," Margaret's voice was filled with concern for her safety.

"Margaret, we can't throw her out-" William protested.

"They'll end me if I don't turn her in. The longer she stays the more danger we are in."

Amelia was stuck. If she left, she would be lost, maybe even die from exposure. She has heard of people disappearing into the woods and never making it back. No one is able to find them, but if she stayed here. All of them will surely suffer maybe even die. Self-preservation was overriding her fear at this point.

"We can hide her. You have this place smelling wonderful all the time, can't we hide her scent?"

Amelia watched them exchange looks. Margaret looked back over to her. "Fine, but hopefully Carlisle can't trace her here. If he does, it's over. No doubt a tracker is already following them."

"Julius isn't a concern," Amelia voiced.

"Julius? Julius is world-renowned. He tracks down everyone. Many have died because of him. However, I can't let you die out there. We will do what we can for as long as we can."

"Thank you. I will help in any way possible. I can help with meals, the cleaning." Amelia was grateful. Something about the way Margaret feared the people chasing her, made Amelia feel more comfortable. They were all just trying to survive at this point.
