I'm so sorry it has been so long since I last posted a chapter, but I was working on a farm with no Internet connection for the last few months. Thank you all for the lovely reviews, and I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Thanks!

"Ellie!" Jax yells.
I turn around just in time to watch his knife slide into my stomach. I gasp as I watch blood slowly trickle from the wound. I look up at him. He smiles and then laughs wildly.
"Ellie!"
"ELLIE!" I wake up with a jolt. Joel is standing over me, a look of concern and sympathy on his face. "Nightmares again?" he asks.
I nod my head and lay back onto my pillow. I take a deep breath as the memory of my dream slowly fades from my mind. Jackson Teller has been haunting my dreams for the past three years, ever since that terrible night that changed my entire life.
After Happy stabbed Brandon I was quickly taken back to my motel and my stuff was packed into a bag. I was taken to a bus stop and was sent on the next bus. They told me that if they ever see or hear about me again I would wish I got an easy death as Brandon. I haven't seen them since then.
I only ended up in Carson City Nevada, but I was far enough away from them. I finished school here, and I found a job which I enjoyed. I also found Joel. I was terrified of having someone close to me for a while, because everyone else close to me had died, but Joel and I were meant to be together. We can talk for hours without actually talking about anything important, and he makes me laugh more than anyone else ever has. His family has accepted me, and I live with Joel and his family now.
I have mostly gotten over what happened in my past. I dealt with the things that I could, and tried to forget the things that I couldn't. I still have nightmares, but other than that I am living a normal happy life.
Joel smiles and gives me a hug. I haven't ever told him exactly what happened, but he understands and doesn't push to know. He says that some things should stay in the past and we should focus on the future instead of dwelling on things in the past.
"Mum made breakfast." He said. "Bacon and eggs."
I smiled, "Yum, what are we waiting for?"
I had a family breakfast with Joel, his little brother Ben and his Mum and Dad. Joel was unlike the rest of his family in looks. He had dark blonde hair, dark blue eyes and a light tan. He was average height and build, but had a soft heart and too much compassion for a straight guy. The rest of his family were dark haired, light skinned, with tall skinny frames. I always wondered how his almost vampire looking parents produced a tanned blonde boy.
"Do you two have anything planned for the weekend?" his Mum, Ann asked.
"Not really." Replied Joel. "We might go to the movies or something, but nothing major."
"Good." Ann smiled. "Some extended family are coming over for the weekend. I would like you both to be here."
Ben rolled his eyes, "Urgh" he complained. "For the whole weekend?"
His father, Ron, gave him a hard stare. "Yes." He says sternly. "And I won't be hearing another complaint out of you."
Ben rolls his eyes again and looks back to his plate.
"Will they be staying here the night?" Asks Joel.
"Only a few." Ann replies. "Most have found accommodation elsewhere, but my half sister and her son will be staying here for the night. They can sleep in the lounge room, unless you want to give up your bed."
Joel looks back at me. "Ellie hasn't been sleeping well, I'd prefer if we could stay in our bed so her sleep isn't disturbed."
Ann smiles at me. "Sure. Everything ok Ellie?" she asks.
"Yes." I reply. "Just a few bad dreams, that's all."
The family continues eating breakfast and making small talk. Joel had told me about his Mother's side of the family before. They aren't very close and only catch up once every few years. She has a half-sister and a step sister, both from different fathers.
Once we finished breakfast Joel and I went outside. We sat on the chair swing for a chat. He put his arm around me and I leaned into him.
He sighed, "This weekend is not going to be fun." He says.
"Your family can't be that bad, can they?" I ask.
He sighs again. "Mum didn't tell us about it til the last minute for a reason." He explains, "So we couldn't make plans and get out of it."
"Tell me about them." I say.
"I can't even remember most of their names. The step sister is a total cow, and her two boys are just as bad as her. One is just a bit older than us, and the other is quite a bit older. Her husband is a fat bastard that expects us to be his personal butlers, and the half-sister is just as bad. She has a son who I haven't seen in probably ten or so years. He stopped coming when they caught up. I guess he just got sick of it, which isn't surprising. They always have a massive fight in the end and end up leaving hating each other and promising to never see each other again."
"Wow." I say, "Sounds like it's going to be a fun weekend."
Joel smiles. "It's going to be hell."
It's about 2 o'clock when I hear the first knock on the door.
"Danni!" Ann exclaims as she opens the door and gives the huge woman at the door a large hug. I am introduced to the woman, who is Ann's step sister. She is followed in my Michael, her husband, who is just as large as the woman, and the two sons. One who looks to be about thirty and is approaching the size of his parents, David, and one who is about my age, Jimmy.
Hugs and warm hellos are given out, I almost forget about the things Joel had told me about them earlier.
About half an hour later there is another knock at the door. Ann quickly jumps up and answers the door. A woman with the same dark hair is at the door. They give each other a hug, and I am introduced to Ann's half-sister, Gemma.
Gemma smiles at me and gives me a large hug, then turns to Joel and jokingly says, "She looks scared, what have you been telling her about me?" Joel smiles and laughs, playing it off as a joke and hoping she wasn't being serious.
Gemma turns around and yells outside. "Hurry up!"
Her son quickly jogs to the front door. She turns to me and introduces me, "This is Ellieā¦" She pauses, "Shit if she looked scared a minute ago, she looks like she just saw a ghost now."
I stared at her son, and he stared back. His blonde hair falling slightly in front of his face, and the expression in his blue eyes turned quickly from happy to venomous hatred. My knees started to shake and I was unable to swallow. I blinked hard, hoping I was in another one of my nightmares, but this time it was real. He was right there in front of me in flesh and blood, looking as if he really did want to stab me.
"Ellie." He says, his voice filled with resentment and hatred.
I gulped and found my voice, "Jax."
