A week or two has passed with plenty of opportunities for Prince to try being more social. (He's doing pretty well too, and you don't know how long it has been?) No I don't ok, cut me some slack. Anyway there have been some ups, downs, and turn arounds but all in all pretty good. Take for example one day on our travels down the street, which I swear I know where everything is by heart now, we stopped by some kind of juice/drink shop place to I guess chill. Yea, chilling with a prince, a royal guard, and two princesses what up? (God please never do that again, ever for as long as we live.) Fine sorry, but right so yes Celestia joined us as well as Luna. She probably joined to help and/or support Prince too but sometimes I'd look back and see her writing in a type of notebook, which I'm pretty sure she was using to take notes. (Really? What else would you use a "note"book for?) Oh shut the hell up smart ass, damn.

Back on topic…we took a seat at a table and we got a few looks and gazes by others. I didn't pay any mind for I was looking for a little test for Prince. Then I saw it, or her, a young pony sitting at the bar alone, a perfect opportunity for Prince to make some other friends. So I nudged him and motioned to her.

"Hey Princey, that mare over there looks nice huh?" I inquired. Prince got a sort of confused then embarrassed look upon him.

"Wh-What do you mean?" He asked, flustered.

"Oh I just mean to go talk to her. As a little test is all." I chuckled. "It's not like I want you to ask her out." Prince kind of cooled down a little bit and breathed in and out slowly. I noticed he had to do that to kind of keep himself calm which is understandable.

"Ok. I can do it…. What do I talk about?" He asked, worried.

"Just go up and ask how she is doing, how her day is going. Introduce yourself like I taught you and most of all….smile." I said with a smile crossing my face.

"Ok, what happens if she-…" He started.

"Prince, you'll be fine." I said. He got down from his seat and slowly approached the mare. I couldn't hear all too well but I picked up on most of the conversation. Prince was stuttering a bit but was able to keep it cool. It sounded to me that it was going fairly well. They were sharing laughs and ideas and whatever those young fillies talk about hahaha…(You remember that Prince is over 1,000 years old right?) Yes I do understand this, it was a joke that you obviously can't take.

Though there were other times where the outcome was a bit surprising. It was Prince and I walking along as the sun began to set so we thought we'd better get back before Celestia got mad. Thorn was nowhere to be seen; I think because we lost him again, that kind of happens a lot. On our way "home" we heard a loud shriek come from within a dark alleyway. We couldn't just walk away, we had to investigate. Prince and I walked side by side as we delved deeper into the darkness. The sound of hushed tones grew as we approached a young mare and two colts in masks ganging up on her.

"Just hand over the bits lady and we won't hurt yah too bad." One of them said as she cried out for help before her mouth was covered by the hoof of the other attacker that appeared to be holding a knife.

"You heard my friend here, cough 'em up!" The other demanded. Prince and I were standing far enough away as to where they couldn't see us. That is until Prince started walking forward. I rushed to catch up with him but I had no intention to stop him, I was going to assist him in what he was going to do; stop those dirty thieves.

"Hey! Leave her alone." Prince demanded, yelling at the muggers.

"Who's there?! Come on out!" The one with the knife said. Prince's horn started to radiate enough to where you could see just his face and his menacing look. The other thief turned to his friend in fear.

"Dude do you know who that is?! We gotta get out of here!" He exclaimed.

"Why? Who does this kid think he is huh?" The other replied.

"That's Sombra's kid! You know Sombra!? The big bad ruler of the Crystal Empire! I'm not stickin' around to see what his kid can do!" The unarmed stallion quipped. He started to back away until he was full sprint, running the other way until he was out of sight. We didn't want to waste our attention on him so we focused more on the armed one.

"Wimp! I'll just keep the bits for myself!" He shouted to his fleeing friend. Then he turned his attention back to us."A prince huh? I bet you have plenty of bits or you're worth the amount." He snickered, holding his knife up to us facing our direction. At this point I motioned for the mare to run away which I didn't have say twice because she booked it out and disappeared in seconds. That left the mugger, a prince, and a human. (Huh, sounds like a novel title or something.) Ha it kind of does, stop distracting me I have to fight this guy. (Oh right sorry.)

It was a stand-off. Who would make the first move which may be there last? Just then, like a spaceship going at light speed, what appeared to be a Pegasus zooming by. This made me jump and it even scared Prince enough to fire off a bolt that struck the Pegasus dead on. From there it was almost like time slowed down. The bolt from Prince struck the mysterious Pegasus but yet it didn't affect them instead… it glowed an unearthly white until it stopped in front of the attacker, unleashing a barrage of lightning fast blows from its hooves that now, instead of their whole body, the hooves glowed white.

The attacker was left staggering, still trying to understand what exactly just happened as well as trying to remember how to balance. With one fluent motion he was on the ground with the Pegasus holding him down.

"You're under arrest scum." Thorn sneered, pressing the mugger down harder.

"Thorn?" I called out. "Is that you?" I asked, stepping closer. Prince Lit his horn up a little more to give us a clearer view to see that it was in fact that sweet s.o.a.b; Lightning Thorn. "How did you do that? You were all like BAM Boom! Hiya! And kicking a**! And you took Prince's bolt like a champ and our hooves are freakin' glowing!"

"Are you two ok?" He asked.

"Yea, thanks for the assistance. I honestly was just trying to intimidate him." Prince replied.

"Same, I've been stabbed a little too much for my liking." I added. "But what are you doing out he-…let me guess; you were looking for us weren't you?" I asked.

"Exactly. It is way past your bedtimes." He teased.

"I will agree it got a little late but we heard the screams and we couldn't just leave without checking it out." I said. "Right Prince?"

"Right, I'd want someone to come help me if I was getting mugged." He replied.

"Well actually you could probably blast them away Prince." I said.

"In the event that I didn't have my magic I mean."

"Right but anyway thank you Thorn. Now on to the topic of how you beat the crap out of that guy with white hooves!" I insisted.

"That was really cool! How'd you do it?" Prince asked.

"I'll tell you on the way back to the castle." Thorn said.

"Wait there's still a guy out their running." I remembered.

"If he ran than that means he's no threat." Thorn said. "Besides, my assignment is to watch over you two, and I know that as soon as I turn my back both of you will be gone." Thorn said, which I think he was pretty correct.

"Ok ok, what about him?" I said pointing to the stallion on the ground.

Thorn pulled out some cuffs and slapped them around the thief. "I already signaled some of the other night guards and they'll take care of him."

"Ok…than let's go home." I replied. As we began to leave I made sure to sneak the knife the thief had into the side of my shoe and pulled my pants over it so it was not visible

I got back up with the gang and Thorn was explaining how he was able to perform those moves. He told us that when he is struck with a form of electric flow it doesn't quite hurt him but more or less it powers him up for about a 10 minute extreme adrenaline rush. Before long we were back at the castle and in Prince's room. Thorn left for the barracks before lecturing us about staying out late. We agreed it was bad, apologized and he went off.

Now let's get back to the present. It's about bedtime and I had the perfect final test for Prince tomorrow. We didn't waste any time going to sleep and I wasn't scared to sleep anymore because most of the nightmares had ceased. Though there were some small ones here and there but not too bad.

Early morning with a slow rising sun. Today was the day. I shot up and got ready as usual and had to slap Prince around to get him up. (Metaphorically he means, he just nudged him a little.) Yea, once he was up we did our normal breakfast routine, met up With Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, we met up with Thorn and we made went out into the always bustling city of Canterlot.

"Ready Prince?" I asked him.

"Ready for what? Another test?" He asked. This time instead of a grown he was a bit excited to see what new friend he could make.

"The last one." I said as we stopped in front of Barns and Nobles.

"Ooohhhh…I am so ready for this!" He said with determination.

"Let's see it than!" I cheered and hurried inside to see the same mare cashier that Prince tried to talk to last time but couldn't quite do it. Prince rushed back to get the book and was back before you knew it. He trotted up to the counter clearly expressing his confidence. I stood somewhat beside him and the two princesses took the other side of him.

"Hello-..ma'am." He breathed in and out. "I'd like to purchase this book please." He said with a tiny hint of shakiness in his voice but kept it cool.

"Hey, you're the kid that tried to get this book earlier. What happened then? You looked as pale as a ghost." The mare replied.

"Well I was very shy at the time but now I've gotten so much better!" Prince exclaimed.

The mare chuckled a little bit and smiled. "Well I'm glad to hear that Mr.…." She led on.

"Whiteheart. I'-I'm Price Whiteheart." Prince forced out.

"Pleasure to meet you, I'm Paige Turner." She said, handing the book to Prince.

"How much is it?" Celestia asked.

"No charge, it's the least I could do for a Prince." Paige said. Prince's face lit up with excitement. I don't know for what though, that he passed or he finally got the book. (Why not both?) True.

She bagged the book for him, and waved him goodbye. As we left we all cheered for Prince. He was jumping all around.

"Well Prince, I taught you all I know and by what I've seen I think you'll make one heck of a true prince." I said, ruffling his mane.

He looked up at me smiling. "Thank you." He said.

"Don't mention it friend." I replied. "Now let's go get a celebratory drink!" I offered.

"Sadly me and my sister have important "business" to attend to but by all means, please go enjoy yourselves." Princess Celestia said. She sneakily winked to Luna who returned the gesture. (What are they planning?) A little party for prince? (Maybe. Who knows.) Eh yea, or maybe they do have important business.

"Oh that's alright, come on Prince, you too Thorn!" I shouted. They both cheered for the idea and we headed off before Prince gave a big hug to both his mom and his aunt. He joined back up and we headed for a nice juice/café place. This place was pretty awesome and the juice smoothie things they make are the shiznet. Like I rarely drink smoothies and stuff like that but I could have one of these bad boys day-in day-out but enough about that because what happened next would make you spit the whole drink out, I know it made me.

So here we three are, sitting, drinking, having a grand old time when none other than the biggest douchebag in probably the whole brony fandom; Prince Blueblood. (I don't know about the whole fandom…..but he is an a**hole.) You're damn right he is…I wonder what he wants? ( I don't know but he's coming this way with a big stupid smirk on him.

"Having fun drinking your commoner's drink with these peasants?" He said as if he was disgusted to even have to see us. Ha, peasants in all my days that is one thing I have never been called.

"No, I'm enjoying a delicious drink with my friends. Obviously something you know little to nothing about." Prince replied. Yea, get him Princey, don't take none of his shiz.

Blueblood just laughed as if he was trying to make sure everypony around him knew he was laughing.

"You call yourself a prince?" He laughed harder. "That is rather humorous."

"Yes I do." Prince replied.

"Hahahah! You? No, you don't deserve such a title. Now if you were to behave in a more refined manner like myself than maybe, just maybe you can really be called a prince." Blueblood replied.

"Hey, leave him alone. He's twice the Prince you could ever dream to be!" I growled, staring straight into Blueblood's eyes.

"Don't waste your breath commoner. Or I will make it your last." Blueblood replied, cocking his head up as if I didn't deserve to look at him.

Prince rose up out of his seat and from the look in his eyes that was the final straw.

"And what makes a great Prince, Blueblood? Is it threatening those below you to do your will? Is it making them feel like dirt as you sit high above them? Because I can tell you right now that that is far from it. A prince is supposed to be one with his people. The one to make sure everyone is happy, and healthy. They are protectors. These ponies are not our servants; they are the backbone holding us up. Without them you and I are next to nothing. So why treat them like dirt? Is that how you want to run this beautiful home of ours? …You're no better than my dad." Prince ended the conversation. Blueblood's face was just priceless (You took a picture didn't you?) Hell yes I did. His jaw was hanging and he was shocked with now words coming out. (So is ours…) Well yea! I didn't know Princey was going to do that. He just verbally kicked Blueblood's flank!

"I…uh…but…" Blueblood stammered.

"Don't. Don't ever talk to me until you learn what it really means to be a royal prince and not a royal dick." Prince finished, sat down, and sipped at his drink. I so just wanted to jump into Blueblood's face and scream; Boom son! Right in his face!

Blueblood tried to gather himself, tip up his head, and walk away shaking. When he was gone Whiteheart let out a heavy smile and smiled.

"That felt so good." He sighed.

"That was sooo awesome!" I exclaimed.

"To be honest, I don't know too much about being a Prince but that just felt right." He remarked.

"Sir, I would be honored to have you as a leader." Thorn replied.

Even some ponies around us started stomping and whistling as a bit of a cheer. It soon subsided when everypony noticed a guard caravan rolling down the street. Thorn got a bit confused because he never got word of this event taking place so we decided to go check it out.

The caravan was led by none other than Night Stalker himself.

"Hey Stalker! Long time no see huh?" I said, waving to him.

"You know it." He said. "Have I got a surprise for you! Guess who we caught in Ponyville." He said with a grin.

"I don't know, who?" I asked but I think I figured it out already. I looked to the cage that was right behind us and the prisoner looked up at me and waved solemnly.

"Howdy partner." Thrash said, leaning up against the bars.
