KATIE'S P.O.V.

"There was this one time when…" "TRAVIS, SHUT THE HELL UP." I screamed.

"Why don't you make me Gardner?" "I don't know what makes you stupid but it really works." I sneered.

"Every time you open your mouth all you do is prove your ignorance. Maybe you should stop doing that." Retorted Travis.

I gaped at him. "Oh I'm sorry, was I supposed to be offended. Because right now the only thing offending me is your presence."

"I am already visualizing ductape over your mouth."

"I'm not being rude, you're just insignificant." I replied turning around.

Travis chuckled. "Let me guess it's that time of month again." I turned around and grabbed him by the collar.

"Just because you pissed me off does not mean it's that time of any month." I said in a dangerously calm voice.

Travis smirked. "Okay." I gave him a final glare then turned around and stared out the window, my arms folded defiantly over my chest.

Travis cleared his throat. "So, are you always usually this snappy around people?" I turned and scowled.

"Are you aware of how annoying you are?" Travis frowned, as if thinking then shrugged.

"No, but I am aware of how hot and irresistible I am." I snorted. "Is that what you say to yourself to increase your self-esteem?"

Travis sighed and looked down at his hands. "I am never going to understand girls."

He muttered, fidgeting with his fingers; his hair flopped across his eyes. I felt my temper flare.

"What do you mean?" I demanded, practically shouting. The way he had said it, like he was accusing me, made me angry.

I mean, what right did he have to tell me that? Travis looked up at me, he wasn't smiling anymore. "Why don't you get it?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked irritatedly. Travis gulped nervously. He moved his mouth to speak, but no sound came out.

"Travis?" I asked cautiously. "What's wrong with you?" He sighed in defeat. "Nothing" he said, staring at the chalk-board.

I stared at Travis cautiously, was he…nervous? An uncomfortable silence stretched out between us.

I exhaled loudly. "How long's detention?" Travis shrugged, avoiding eye contact.

I started tapping my fingers on the desk filling the silence. "Hey Kit-Kat." I glared at Travis.

"What?" he asked cluelessly. I sighed and motioned for him to go on. "You know what I don't get?"

I turned to look at Travis. He licked his lips and stared at the desk, as if debating about something in his mind. "Nothing." He said at last, shaking his head.

"Just spit it out already." I ordered, not bothering to hide my annoyance. Travis dragged his hands down his face. "It's complicated."

I gave him a look. "Complicated? Why can't you just say it already?" "Fine." Hissed Travis

"Whenever you kiss me why do you act like it's nothing?" My mouth fell open. "What?" Travis groaned.

"You know what, forget I ever said that." "No," I said, shaking my head fiercely. "I don't forget."

Travis smirked. "You don't?" I felt a blush creeping up my neck.

"That's not what I meant." I huffed. Travis leaned back in his chair, hands clasped behind his head.

"Why do you kiss me in the first place?" I asked. That wiped the smirk off his face. Travis gulped.

Just then Dionysus walked in. "Time's up, you're free to go." "But that was only half our time." I said, confused. Travis elbowed me.

I turned and glared at him. "Do you have a problem with that?" asked Dionysus. Travis shook his head hastily. "No, no. Thanks."

"Don't forget to come next week." Said Dionysus as we rushed out the door. I groaned inwardly.

LUKE'S P.O.V.

I yawned and pushed open the door to Zeus' office and froze.

Paper littered the floor and desk. The chair had been knocked over as had the rubbish bin.

The photo frames were crooked and all the files had been pulled out of the bookcase.

Standing on the desk was Thalia; she was holding a file and looked like she was in the middle of tearing out the pages.

We both stared at each other in silence. "What are you doing?" I asked in disbelief.

Thalia frowned and jumped off the desk. "That's for me to know, and you to never find out." She said, walking past me.

I grabbed her arm. She looked at me blankly. "Let go of my arm Castellan." I sighed.

"Your dad's gonna' kill you when he finds out." Thalia smirked. "He's not going to find out."

I narrowed my eyes at her. "If you think I'm not going to tell your dad that you did this then you're wrong."

Thalia shrugged carelessly. "Okay then, go ahead. Either way I don't care."

I stared at Thalia, not knowing if I'd heard properly. "You don't care?" She gave me a smug smile

. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned against the doorframe, studying her.

"Let me guess, you're rebelling." Thalia's mouth opened in shock confirming my suspicions.

I smiled, satisfied. Thalia glared at me, "If you dare tell anyone about this I swear…"

I stood up straight, "Or what?"

"Don't do anything you'll regret Blondie," snapped Thalia before shoving past me and walking briskly down the hallway.

LOU ELLEN'S P.O.V.

I groaned and buried my face in my hands.

Connor sat beside me, fidgeting with my pencil.

I looked up at him, he was wearing a black T-shirt with denim jeans, his hair was tousled and fell across his face messily, I smiled.

He noticed. "Can we go now?" I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. "You wouldn't know how to do this would you?"

I asked referring to my homework. Connor raised an eyebrow. "Lou, do I really strike you as someone who would spend their free time studying?"

I opened my mouth to reply but he cut me off. "No."

I pouted, "Aren't boyfriends supposed to help their girlfriend out when she's got a problem."

Connor frowned. "I don't think that's very fair." I crossed my arms stubbornly.

"Can't you get Annabeth to do it?" moaned Connor.

"I've already thought about that, and I've asked her as well. But she says to earn a brighter future I have to learn how to do it instead of getting other people to do it for me."

"Typical Annabeth thing to say," said Connor. "That's it. I can't do this anymore." I yelled and threw down my pencil angrily.

Connor looked at me surprised. "What?" I snapped. Connor flinched. "Nothing,"

I sat back down angrily. "Maybe you should take a break," suggested Connor timidly.

I turned to glare at him. "Then who's going to finish this?" I hissed, motioning towards the pile of books and papers.

He sighed. "Well, I have better things to do than listen to you rant all day."

Saying this he hopped of my desk, and made his way to the door leaving me gaping at his back.

I stood up, hands on hips. "What do you mean?" He turned around, but not before I noticed a smile on his face.

"You look cute when you're angry." He replied innocently. "You are so dead." I snarled, before chasing him out the door.
