LOU ELLEN'S P.O.V
I shook my head, grinning. "I can't believe you actually set up Travis and Katie together.
Aren't they going to, oh I don't know try and murder you."
Connor smirked. "Yeah, but it was so worth it. Man, I wish I'd been there to see the look on Travis' face."
I laughed and trailed my finger down Connor's arm.
Then I stepped up onto my toes and kissed him softly. I felt him smile against my lips and wrap his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
I let myself lean on him as we kissed, and the only thing I could think of was I never want this to end.
KATIE'S P.O.V
Travis and I stood on the dance floor, at literally arm's length. I'm held onto Travis' shirt sleeve, no way was I touching him.
Travis sighed. "Geez, Gardner. Stop being so immature."
Huh, go figure. I snorted, "I'm immature?" Travis rolled his eyes and muttered something under his breath.
"What do you two think you're doing." Someone scolded. I turned to see Aphrodite walking towards us angrily.
She shook her head furiously. "This is not how I taught you to dance Miss Gardner."
Before I could say anything she placed one hand on Travis' back and the other on mine and pushed us together.
I banged into Travis' chest and looked away, blushing.
I instinctively started to move backwards, but Aphrodite pushed me back.
Then she took my hand and placed it on Travis' shoulder and put Travis' hand round my waist.
Then she forced me and Travis to hold hands. Eugh.
She smiled brightly. "Perfect, now I don't want to see you like you were before, Understand?" asked Aphrodite sternly.
I nodded reluctantly. She clapped her hands. "Good." Then walked off, as I stared daggers at her back.
Travis chuckled. I looked up at him, why did he have to be so damn tall?
The first thing I noticed about him was his eyes.
They were beautiful, and I had a sudden urge to kiss him.
I shook my head and blushed. My feelings for Travis had always been a bit, well…confusing.
"What's wrong Gardner?" I heard the teasing tone in his voice. I glared at him.
"What do you mean? Nothing's wrong." Travis laughed. I gritted my teeth and resisted the feeling to punch him. Hard!
Instead I 'accidently' stepped on his feet. "Ow," he frowned at me. "Do you mind?"
I shrugged. "Whoops, sorry." Then I purposefully did it again.
Travis narrowed his eyes at me. Then he twirled me around and almost dropped me onto the ground before pulling me back up.
I gasped and clutched onto his shoulder as I tried to regain my composure.
I suddenly realized how close I was to Travis. His body was warm and he smelt a bit like…cinnamon?
Travis looked down at me and smirked. "Gardner?"
I scowled to cover my embarrassment, and pushed him away. "You know what? I don't feel like dancing.
I'm going outside." Travis sighed. "Thank god, I don't know if I could take dancing with you."
I ignored him and wandered outside into the gardens.
The flowers were in full bloom and they looked beautiful under the glow of the moon.
I sat down on a bench and Travis sat next to me. The air was chilly and suddenly the warmness drained away from me and I wrapped my arms around myself.
Travis noticed and smiled. "Sorry Gardner, I'm not wearing a jacket." I rolled my eyes. "I don't need a jacket Stoll."
Travis raised an eyebrow but didn't comment. "Hey Katie-Kat." "Travis?" I said. "Yes?"
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that? I thought I made it clear on the first day of school of what you can call me."
Travis laughed. I sighed. "Oh, that's right. You don't care what I say. Because you're an ignorant, stupid idiot."
I muttered the rest under my breath. "What was that Gardner?" asks Travis.
I looked away from him, hiding a grin. Travis got up suddenly.
"I don't want to sit here. Too many flowers." I glared at him.
"And what's wrong with that?" Travis wrinkled his nose and shrugged. "I don't like flowers."
I grinned at him. "Well I'll just add that to the list of reasons of why I despise you."
Travis ignored me, which I didn't like and walked towards the beach.
I followed him grudgingly. Soon enough my shoes were full of sand and I'd twisted my foot too many times to count.
Let's just say that walking on the beach in heels wasn't the best idea.
Travis was walking a few steps ahead of me. "Travis," I groaned. He paid no attention to me. "Travis," I shouted.
He threw his head back and stopped. Then slowly turned around. "What?"
"Come here for a sec." I replied. Travis stayed still before sighing dramatically and walking over to me. "What?"
"Hold still." I said. I grabbed onto his shoulder to steady myself as I take off one shoe, and then the other.
I sighed in relaxation as my sore feet touched the cool sand. Travis gave me a weird look.
I shook my head. "You really don't want to know how torturous it is to walk on the beach in heels, trust me you do not want to try it."
Travis nodded slowly. "Okaaay." I walked beside him, my shoes dangling from my hand.
"Travis?" He groaned. "WHAT?" "When I see that no good brother of yours I'm going to kill him, Okay?" I said casually.
Travis shook his head. "No you're not, because I'm going to kill him first." I rolled my eyes.
"Of course you are." Travis cocked his head and looked at me. "Why are you always so negative?"
I glared at him. "I am not." "And rude." He added.
I smacked him on his arm. "And hurtful." He said, while rubbing his arm.
I crossed my arms over my chest. "You just don't know me."
Travis snorted. "Oh, you say that as if it's a bad thing." I bent down and scooped up a handful of sand before pouring it down his back.
Travis stiffened and stared at me open-mouthed. I smiled back at him triumphantly. Then he grinned evilly.
"Oh you are so in for it now Gardner." He stripped off his shoes and socks before taking of his vest and shirt.
My eyes widened and I dropped my shoes before running away from.
I heard Travis laughing behind me "Katie, you can't outrun me." I ran faster, I'd barely made it far before I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist.
I screamed loudly and started kicking frantically.
Unfortunately the beach was deserted, so no one could hear me. "Now you're going to pay."
Whispered Travis in my ear. "Let. Me. Go." I said trying to squirm out of his grasp.
He chuckled. Then he waded into the water, my eyes widened as I realized what he was going to do.
"Travis," I pleaded. "Yes Katie-Kat?" he mocked. I gave one last attempt at trying to get him to let me go but it didn't work.
Travis waded further into the water until he was thigh deep.
Then he dumped me in. Unfortunately for him, I dragged him down with me.
The water was freezing and I gasped as I broke through the surface. Seconds later Travis did as well.
I glared at him furiously, as I shivered uncontrollably.
He glared back, but he wasn't shivering, even though he was wearing less than I me. "I. Hate. You." I said through chattering teeth.
"You had to pull me down with you." He growled. Then his expression softened as he saw that I was basically freezing to death.
He waded over to me and picked me up. I flushed and tried to ignore that he wasn't wearing a shirt.
I cuddled closer to him, as the warmth of his body spread through mine.
He put me down and then he did something that took me completely by surprise, he bent down and kissed me, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it.
I tangled my hands through his wet hair, and pulled him closer to me. His hands slipped under my legs and he lifted me up.
I wrapped my legs around his waist. Shivering with pleasure as his hand travelled down to the small of my back.
His lips trailed down my jaw and down my neck, making me shudder.
He lay me down on the sand, and I pulled him on top of me, heeding nothing but my desire.
I arched my back as he nuzzled my neck, and enjoyed the feel of his body pressed against mine.
"Travis," I moaned unintentionally. Travis suddenly stiffened, and then got off me abruptly.
I gasped and looked away guiltily. Travis' lips were pursed tightly, as he stood up and walked away briskly.
I tried to call him but for some reason my voice wouldn't work
I sighed and pulled my knees to my chest. What was going?
OH MY GOD I LOVE TRAITIE IT IS AWESOME!
