KATIE'S P.O.V
Travis and I sat, in an awkward silence.
Both of us waiting for the other to speak. "Why are you here?" asked Travis finally.
"…um" I replied smartly. Travis gave me a sideways look. I gulped.
"I. Needed. To. Ask. You. About. Something." I replied slowly. Travis waited for me to continue.
Damn it, what had I been thinking. I couldn't just waltz in and start talking about last night.
"I need to go." I said. I stood up, forgetting that this was a bunk bed and banged my head on the bottom of the top bed.
I rubbed my head from where I hit it.
Then I took a step forward only to trip over a shoe lying on the floor, and fall on my face.
Real smooth Katie. "Katie," laughed Travis. "Are you okay?"
I got up abruptly, and held my chin up high, trying to regain my dignity.
I gave Travis a glare before turning around and…slamming face-first into the wall. Really?
By now Travis was laughing hysterically on his bed. My face felt hot from embarrassment, and I crossed my arms stiffly.
"That was not funny." I said pouting. "Yes…it…was." Said Travis in between laughs.
I picked up the nearest thing I could find and threw it.
Travis dodged the flying pillow with ease. I scowled and grabbed a blanket, and then a shoe, a towel, t-shirt, and cap.
I looked around for something else to throw at him but I had run out of objects.
I swore under my breath and instead continued to glare at him.
Travis chuckled and leaned against the bed frame. Oh, how I wanted to wipe that smug smile off his face.
I bent down and took off my heels before throwing them both at him.
Travis grinned and caught both of them. "Next you'll be taking off your dress," he said cheekily.
Oh, the nerve of him. I walked up to him and smacked him on his arm.
I made sure to do it extra hard. Travis yelled and rubbed his arm where I'd hit him.
"Dammit Gardner, do you have to hit so hard?"
But I didn't stop there; I grabbed his pillow and whacked him with it.
"Hey, Oww, stop that." He protested. I just hit him harder.
Travis backed me up against his bed and grappled the pillow out of my hands.
I tried to hit him but he trapped my hands, so I couldn't move them. "Let go off me." I spat.
"Thanks for the offer, but I'd rather not get beaten to death." I looked up at Travis, his blue eyes twinkled mischievously.
"You're impossible.' I said. Travis cocked his head to the side and leaned closer.
"Really? I'm not that bad." I reached up and trailed a hand down the side of his face.
"Yeah," "Yeah as in I'm bad or…not?" he whispered. My breathing was heavy as I placed a hand on his chest.
"Not," Saying this, I tangled my hands through his curly brown hair and pulled him closer to me.
Travis pushed me lightly onto the bed, and placed his hands beside my waist before leaning down and kissing me.
I kissed him back hungrily, wrapping my legs around his torso.
I placed my hands on Travis' shoulder and flipped him over so I was on top.
Travis trailed his lips along my collarbone and stopped, nuzzling my neck.
"Travis," I moaned. "Hmm," he said, I could feel the reverberation on my neck.
With much reluctance I managed to pull away from him. "What's going on?" I said, almost pleadingly.
Travis rolled over and stood up ignoring me.
"Travis," I yelled. He turned around. "What do you want me to say Katie?' I bit my lip.
"The truth?" He sighed and buried his face in his hands. "Just answer this one question for me will you?"
I waited for him to continue. "Do you like me or do you normally throw yourself at boys you supposedly hate?"
Well, when he put it that way. I glared at him.
"Like you're any better, and besides." I added. "I do not 'throw' myself at you, or anyone for that matter."
Travis grinned. "So you do like me?" I hesitated, then mumbled. "Yes," I like you."
"What was that Gardner?" asked Travis. "There is no way you're making me repeat that." I huffed.
"Well then," said Travis, sitting beside me. "If it makes you feel any better, I like you as well."
I smiled, despite myself. "Even though you can be very aggressive, loud, bossy…"
I smacked him. "Are you complimenting me, or insulting me?" He shrugged.
"I'm only stating the facts." I scoffed. "Well in that case, don't even get me started on you."
LOU ELLEN'S P.O.V
I stepped out of my room, and my mouth dropped open.
I smiled at Travis and Katie, "So you two finally decided to confess your true feelings for each other."
Katie rolled her eyes while Travis muttered something under his breath.
I beamed, "Well then, I guess I'll see you later." I said to Travis, before shutting the door on his face.
"What, Lou?" said Katie confusedly. I grinned at Katie. "Details."
