It was a warm summer morning at Mira's house.
Mira had already finished her chores and decided to play on her computer.
She entered her bedroom and closed the door.
Her entire room had been illuminated by the sunlight that shined through the windows.
Mira then retrieved her laptop from underneath her bed.
The screen loaded normally as soon as she powered it up.
Mira was reading an article online when a strange notification popped up on her screen.
"These random pop-ups are so annoying," she grumbled to herself.
She tried to get rid of the notification using exit commands, but it wouldn't budge.
"Is this some kind of virus?" the teen asked out loud.
Mira gave up and opened the notification out of curiosity.
Inside the notification was a picture of an unknown electronic device.
Text at the top of the picture read: Welcom to The Digital World, Tamer, you have been chosen.
"What the heck is this nonsense? Why is it on my computer? I didn't want to play a stupid video game," she said with an irritated look.
Mira attempted to restart her computer but was interrupted by a message that read: Error. You will now be transported immediately.
"Wait… what?" the teen shouted with a shocked expression.
The screen on Mira's computer went completely blank for a few seconds before it emitted a bright light in front of her.
The light swirled around Mira like a vortex.
A glowing circular portal appeared above the girl's head.
Much to Mira's surprise, she was pulled into the portal by a mysterious energy force.
She closed her eyes tightly as the portal carried her away.
Only a few seconds seemed to pass by as Mira slowly landed in an unfamiliar area.
The teen opened her eyes and found herself outside sitting in a patch of thick grass.
"Where in the world am I?" she groaned.
Mira quickly stood up and searched for the portal, but it was nowhere to be seen.
She brushed herself off and started to walk around the area.
The only things she could find were trees, plants, and bodies of water around her.
"I need to find a way out of this dump. I don't belong here," she said bitterly.
Mira climbed up a steep hill and continued searching for the same portal.
"Mira don't move! I'm coming for you!" a male voice called out.
"Who the heck was that?" Mira thought with a sigh of annoyance.
She stopped in her tracks and turned around.
A ladybug-like creature flew toward her while carrying something in its claws.
"Who are you?" Mira asked plainly.
The ladybug hovered beside Mira and answered. "My name is Tentomon, and I am your Digimon partner. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Mira shook her head at the creature in disgust.
"Are you kidding? I never wanted a stupid partner, especially if it's going to be an annoying little pest like you. Get out of my sight," she said coldly.
Tentomon brushed off the girl's nasty attitude like dust and smiled at her.
"Pardon me Mira, but I cannot leave your side until you exit the digital world. I was chosen to protect you from any dangers that may come your way," he replied calmly.
Mira glared at the friendly Digimon with hatred in her expression.
"Listen up pest, I didn't ask for your protection! Also, I was forced to come here! Quit bothering me or else there will be consequences," she said coldly.
Tentomon refused to show intimidation and stayed in his position.
"Mira, I'm sorry to hear that you are having a bad day. However, I am here to help you. I've brought you a gift that you'll need in this world," he replied smoothly.
He presented the device to her and added. "This little machine right here is called a Digivice. Humans can use these to help Digimon Digi-Evolve into stronger forms."
Mira lowered her head and thought for a moment.
She looked at the Digivice and then back at Tentomon.
"Fine, give me the silly device. I'll be your partner until I leave this place," she agreed reluctantly.
Tentomon dropped the device into the palm of Mira's hand.
Mira slipped it into the pocket of her sweat shirt.
She then turned to the Digimon beside her with a glare and said coldly. "I'm going to make this very clear, pest, so listen to me. I am not your friend just because you're my digital partner. You and I will never be friends. Do you understand?"
"My name is Tentomon, and I am not a pest. Friendship is the key to surviving in this world," the Digimon argued.
"Whatever pest, I don't want to hear you spew anymore of your pathetic nonsense about friendship. It won't exist for you and me," the teen added roughly.
Tentomon lowered his head and sighed heavily.
He flew along side the irritable girl as they traveled through a thick forest.
All was quiet until they heard a loud roar coming toward them from behind.
Mira jumped but didn't care to worry about the oncoming chaos.
Tentomon peered behind them to see an insect-like creature charging toward them at full speed.
The insect flew over Mira's head and roared again.
"Be careful Mira! A Kuwagamon is getting ready to attack us!" he warned frantically.
Mira let out a growl of frustration.
"Quit your yelling and fight that thing! Isn't fighting what you're here to do?" she hollered.
Tentomon ignored the girl's rising anger and remained calm.
"Hold on Mira, I can provide you with information on this Digimon. It is called Kuwagamon. Kuwagamon is protected by its tenacious power and sturdy shell. Once Kuwagamon clamps down on an enemy with its powerful pincers, it will squeeze until the opponent's life is extinguished," he explained.
Mira unclipped the leather strap from her bag and struck Tentomon across his back with it.
The Digimon felt a stinging pain course through his body and flinched in fear.
"You little pest, I didn't tell you to give me information! I told you to fight that thing!" she snapped.
Tentomon shook off the pain and floated up to Kuwagamon's level.
"Super shocker!" he called out while zapping his opponent with rods of electricity.
Kuwagamon fought back by clamping down on Tentomon with its pincers.
Tentomon continued to attack Kuwagamon while zapping it in the process.
Kuwagamon grew tired and eventually let go of Tentomon before crashing to the ground.
Tentomon breathed a sigh of relief as he floated back down to Mira's side.
"Let's go pest," Mira ordered as she walked further into the forest.
Tentomon tried to follow the girl and flew after her as fast as his wings could take him.
Mira turned around and glared at her partner.
"Hurry up little pest! What is taking you so long?" she called in his direction.
Tentomon hovered by her side while breathing heavily.
"I'm sorry Mira, but my body needs to rest. I'm so exhausted," he answered breathlessly.
"Stop being a baby and get over yourself. We'll rest as soon as I find shelter for us," Mira said harshly.
"Yes ma'am," the Digimon replied briefly.
The two cautiously made their way out of the forest.
Mira spotted a cave nearby and entered it with Tentomon following behind her.
"You can take a break little pest, but don't come near me. I'm not your friend," she said smugly.
Without a word, Tentomon landed on a rock at the opposite end of the cave.
Mira pulled out her phone and started to research on the digital world.
She spent many hours reading articles about the digital monsters and different places to visit.
The article that caught Mira's interest the most was a story about the Monoshiri Book.
That book contained written details about the digital world.
It was being guarded by a Digimon called Bokomon who resided in the Village of Flames.
"I must find that book. It might tell me how to get out of here," she said to herself.
She dropped the phone into her bag and raced over to the rock where Digimon was resting.
"Get up little pest, we need to leave now. Don't waste my time," she demanded.
Tentomon woke up and lifted himself into the air.
"Right away mis," he responded.
Without further hesitation, Mira rushed out of the cave with Tentomon flying after her.
The two were making their way through a small town when Mira finally decided to start a conversation with her Digimon. "Hey little pest, do you know how to get to the Village of Flames? I'm looking for a certain book that will give me an answer on how to get out of here."
"Yes, but that village is far away from here. It will take us a long time for us to get there," Tentomon answered.
"I suggest you quit yapping and start moving," she added.
After passing through the small town, Mira and her Tentomon arrived at a lake.
"The water looks beautiful today," commented Tentomon.
"Whatever," Mira replied briefly.
Little did Mira and her Digimon know, they were secretly being watched by a humanoid wizard Digimon.
He flew after them from a safe distance while keeping a close eye on Mira's every move.
As Mira and Tentomon approached the water's edge, an enormous creature rose up and lunged at them.
The humanoid Digimon crouched behind a tree and remained silent in order to observe Mira without being noticed by her.
"What the heck is bothering us now?" Mira asked in annoyance.
Tentomon let out a fearful yelp as he hid behind Mira.
Mira whipped around and threw Tentomon a piercing glare.
"Little pest, this will be the last time I tell you. Quit acting like a baby!" she shouted furiously.
The wizard Digimon cringed at the aweful nickname that Mira had given her partner.
He hoped that it would pass, and the two would eventually get along.
Despite Mira's yelling, Tentomon gave the girl a pleading look.
"Mira, you must listen to me. That Digimon is called Sedramon. Sedramon is a sea serpent Digimon. It uses its long serpentine body to wreath itself around enemies who come to attack it. Sedramon can suffocate its enemies by constricting them. This Digimon leisurely swims around the ocean according to its instincts," he explained.
"Wow, that Tentomon is very knowledgeable," the humanoid Digimon thought.
Mira unclipped the strap from her bag and struck Tentomon once again with more force.
From behind the tree, the wizard Digimon watched the scene in horror.
"How could Tentomon's human partner do that? She's being very cruel to him," he thought sadly.
The frightened ladybug Digimon jolted but refused to make a sound.
"I already told you that I didn't want any information about these dumb creatures! I don't care about them or you! Do you hear me?" she screamed.
Tentomon hovered in one spot with a look of terror in his expression.
"Yes… Mira," he answered shakily.
"Get rid of that disgusting sea creature right now," she demanded roughly.
Tentomon began the battle by circling around Sedramon in order to confuse it.
"Super shocker!" Tentomon called out as he zapped Sedramon.
Sedramon fought back by firing an ice blast attack directly at Tentomon.
The frozen water covered Tentomon's body completely.
Mira stared at the ice covered Digimon with a look of distaste.
"What are you doing little pest? Fight him! I don't have time to waste on either of you mindless losers!" she shouted angrily.
Tentomon set himself free by wiggling and flinging the ice off of his body.
Sedramon shot a blast of water from its mouth that knocked Tentomon backward.
"You fight like a wimp little pest," Mira commented with a smirk.
She retrieved the Digivice from her sweat shirt pocket and pressed a button.
The device began to beep and emit a powerful beam of energy in Tentomon's direction.
"Okay little pest, its time for you to Digi-Evolve. Don't disappoint me," she commanded.
Tentomon used his wings to reflect the energy back at Mira's Digivice.
"Hold on Mira, I can't Digi-Evolve just yet. You and I have to form a bond first," he replied boldly.
The girl held her strap above Tentomon's back in a threatening manner.
"What did you say little pest? Are you rebelling against my orders?" she asked wearing an enraged expression.
Tentomon stared up at the strap but resisted the urge to flinch.
He knew exactly what was coming next.
"Not at all Mira, I am only being honest. I can't Digi-Evolve if you and I don't connect," the Digimon answered seriously.
Mira stomped toward her partner in a fit of rage and repeadedly whipped him across his back with the strap.
The hidden wizard Digimon gasped quietly as his jaw dropped.
His heart ached for that poor Tentomon.
"I've got to put a stop to this as soon as possible, but I can't let Mira discover me. I'll have to rescue Tentomon when the time is right," he thought.
Tentomon stiffened himself up in order to lessen the pain.
"When I tell you to do something little pest, I expect you to obey! Do I make myself clear?" she yelled in his face.
"Yes… Mira," he answered brokenly.
Mira pressed the button on her Digivice a second time to release more beams of energy at Tentomon.
Tentomon reluctantly absorbed the energy into his body and grew larger in size.
"Tentomon Digi-Evolve to… Cabutarimon!" he called out.
Mira grinned at her newly evolved Digimon in satisfaction.
"Electro shocker!" hollered Cabutarimon as he zapped Sedramon violently.
Sedramon took major battle damage and slumped down into the water before it disappeared from sight.
Cabutarimon reverted back to his rookie form and panted with exhaustion.
"I'm glad that's over," whispered the humanoid Digimon as he stood up.
Mira ignored her partner as she dragged a few pieces of wood and some rope toward the water's edge.
She made a temporary raft by tying the pieces of wood together.
Tentomon hovered above Mira while watching with interest.
The Digimon stopped himself from commenting on Mira's work since he knew what his punishment for interrupting her would be.
He bowed his head and sighed internally.
"What have I gotten myself into? Why is this girl so mean to me? I wish I could make her happy," he thought sadly.
The humanoid Digimon ascended into the air as soon as Mira started to push off.
Tentomon flew ahead of Mira and led her to the other side of the lake.
On the other side of the lake was a large open field at the base of a tall mountain.
Once on land, Mira hopped off of her raft and immediately started walking through the field.
Tentomon forced himself to catch up and floated by her side.
The wizard Digimon sneakily followed Mira from a distance.
Mira collected some fruit from a nearby tree before she headed straight into a cave.
"Wait up Mira, I'm coming with you!" called Tentomon as he flew behind her.
"Do not come near me," Mira ordered.
"As you wish Mira," the Digimon responded as he turned around.
Inside the cave, Mira continued to gather more information on the digital world during her research.
Tentomon landed at the top of a berry tree and sighed heavily.
"I don't understand what I did to upset Mira. Why is she treating me this way?" he said to himself.
The humanoid Digimon looked around to make sure that the coast was clear.
He didn't see Mira which gave him the perfect opportunity to have a conversation with Tentomon.
"Tentomon, please come down here. I want to talk to you," the wizard Digimon said calmly.
Tentomon listened to the soft spoken voice and descended from his spot on top of the tree.
"Hello sir, who are you?" he replied.
"My name is Wizardmon, and I've been secretly watching over you. I've come to rescue you from your tamer," answered the humanoid Digimon.
Tentomon landed on Wizardmon's shoulder.
"Come here Tentomon," Wizardmon said as he grabbed him gently.
Tentomon snuggled into the fabric of Wizardmon's suit and closed his eyes.
Wizardmon pointed his staff at Tentomon and said softly. "Magic heal."
A beautiful green aura surrounded Tentomon's body and revived him.
"You'll be okay now," he whispered.
Wizardmon held the exhausted Digimon tight in a comforting way.
A few hours passed by as Wizardmon continued to observe Tentomon.
Tentomon woke up and opened his eyes.
"Hey Tentomon, how are you feeling?" asked Wizardmon as he rubbed the other Digimon's back.
"I'm okay," Tentomon answered with a yawn.
A brief moment of silence passed between them.
"Wizardmon, thank you for saving me. I couldn't have regained my strength without you," Tentomon said graciously.
"You're most welcome Tentomon, I was more than glad to help you. However, I think you could use a new human partner. That one isn't treating you right at all," the humanoid Digimon replied.
Before Tentomon could say anything else to Wizardmon, Mira came walking toward them.
"Come on little pest," she commanded while pointing at her Digimon.
"Yes ma'am," Tentomon responded.
Wizardmon slowly released Tentomon from his hold.
Tentomon lifted himself into the air and hovered beside Mira.
Wizardmon stood up quickly and blocked Mira's path before she could try to walk away.
"What are you doing? Get out of my way," the teen demanded with a glare.
Wizardmon glared back at her and answered firmly. "I don't like the way you are treating your Digimon. That poor Tentomon is trying to help you survive here in the digital world. You're being cruel to him in return. What do you have to say to him?"
Mira burst into an obnoxious fit of laughter.
Are you seriously telling me how to raise this dumb creature? I never wanted it to be my partner anyway. It's just a mworthless pet," she said bluntly.
Mira's careless attitude angered the humanoid Digimon to no end.
Wizardmon stared into Mira's eyes with fuming hatred in his expression.
Electric sparks began to shoot from the top of Wizardmon's staff.
Wizardmon aimed an electrical sphere at Mira's legs in a threatening manner.
"I'm going to give you one chance to make things right with Tentomon," he said in a low voice.
Mira smirked at him and replied. "Is your electric attack supposed to scare me?"
Wizardmon kept his icy glare fixed on the stubborn teen.
"I'm warning you Mira, quit disrespecting your Digimon partner! This is not a game!" he hollered in her face.
Mira could only laugh at the infuriated Digimon.
"You've lost your mind if you think that I am actually going to listen to your nonsense," she said plainly.
"Don't make me regret leaving you with him," he warned.
"Whatever, now get out of my way. You're wasting my time," Mira replied.
Wizardmon waved at Tentomon before he started to walk away.
Tentomon gave his new friend a pleading look in response.
"Don't worry Tentomon, I won't be far away from you in case anything bad happens. I promise," Wizardmon whispered reassuringly.
Mira started to climb the mountain with Tentomon flying by her side.
A long period of silence passed between them.
Wizardmon flew after them from a far distance once again.
The sun was beginning to go down.
Tentomon distracted himself by watching the sunset.
"That sunset is really pretty tonight," he thought.
As much as Tentomon wanted to have a conversation with Mira, he stopped himself in order to prevent her from wrongly punishing him.
They traveled leisurely over the mountain without saying a single word to each other.
Even though Tentomon had a human partner, he still felt lonely since she hadn't accepted his offer of friendship.
The path led them to a long dark tunnel.
Mira stepped inside cautiously and shined her phone's light around the area.
Seeing that the coast was clear, she proceeded without paying any attention to her Digimon.
Complete silence filled the space as they traveled.
The tunnel seemed to go on forever.
All was going well until a ghostly figure came rushing toward Mira.
The figure resembled a blob of grey decaying flesh with cables embedded in its body.
Wizardmon stood in the tunnel's entrance and watched the scene.
"Eww! That thing looks absolutely disgusting! Little pest, get it away from me!" shouted Mira.
"Raremon smells like rotting fish, looks like the inside of a trash can, and is someone you never want to meet in a very dark alley. He's about as repulsive as they come," informed Tentomon.
Mira unclipped her strap and whipped Tentomon with it in frustration.
Tentomon stared up at her with a blank expression.
"I didn't ask for your comments little pest! Do your job and get rid of that monster!" she demanded roughly.
"Yes Mira, I'll protect you from Raremon. Don't worry," he assured desperately.
Mira pointed her Digivice at Tentomon and pressed the button.
Tentomon absorbed the beams of energy and started to grow bigger.
"Tentomon Digi-Evolve to… Cabutarimon!" he hollered.
Raremon started the battle by unleashing his breath of decay attack on Cabutarimon.
Electro shocker!" shouted Cabutarimon as he zapped Raremon violently.
Raremon fought back by spitting green gas at Cabutarimon.
Cabutarimon continued to shock Raremon, but that Digimon wasn't backing down.
Mira pointed her Digivice at Cabutarimon and said. "Okay pest, it's time to raise your power to the next level. My research tells me that Digimon can reach an ultimate level of evolution."
Mira held the button and released more energy at her Digimon.
Cabutarimon rejected the energy and floated away from it.
"Hold on Mira, I can't do that right now. You and I haven't bonded yet," he said suddenly.
The black haired teen raced toward Cabutarimon with fuming rage in her expression.
She jumped into the air and slammed her strap down on the Digimon's back.
From the tunnel's entrance, Wizardmon's eyes widened with horror as he watched the heartbreaking scene.
Cabutarimon started to descend as he flinched in pain.
"Listen up pest, I'm not going to tell you again. You will obey my orders and Digi-evolve to your next form," Mira growled.
Cabutarimon hovered in one spot without responding.
Raremon lunged at Cabutarimon and attacked him while he was distracted.
Mira used this opportunity to hold the button down on her Digivice which emitted powerful energy beams in Cabutarimon's direction.
Cabutarimon relented and absorbed the energy which caused him to grow even larger.
"Cabutarimon Digi-evolve to… Mega Cabutarimon," he said in a low voice.
Wizardmon's heart dropped in his chest as soon as he caught sight of Tentomon's final evolved form.
"That poor Digimon should not be Digi-Evolving to his ultimate level so quickly. Their partnership needs to end now," he whispered.
Mega Cabutarimon took Raremon out with one last electric attack.
Raremon bolted out of the tunnel in terror.
After the battle, Mega Cabutarimon reverted back to his rookie form.
Tentomon shivered in fear while panting heavily.
"I cannot believe I just defeated Raremon like that. I am not supposed to be exerting such power yet," he thought breathlessly.
Wizardmon's face saddened as he stared at the traumatized Digimon.
"Let's go little pest," Mira ordered as she broke into a run.
Tentomon flew after her with all the strength and will he had inside him.
Wizardmon immediately took off behind them while keeping his distance until the time was right.
He followed them out of the tunnel and into a village located next to a volcano.
"We'd better be careful over here Mira, we never know when a Maremon will pop out and attack us. Maremon reside near volcanoes since they are flame Digimon," Tentomon warned.
Mira raised her strap over Tentomon's back.
"Keep your mouth shut or else there will be consequences," she threatened.
Tentomon sighed heavily and turned away from her.
Before Mira and Tentomon could proceed, a hord of five humanoid Digimon composed of orange and yellow flames charged toward them ready to attack.
"Look out Mira, the Maremon are here! They don't want us to enter this village!" shouted Tentomon.
"Oh quit your whining little pest. You can either take these guys down or get punished for disobeying my orders," Mira replied harshly.
She pressed the button on her Digivice and pointed it at Tentomon who absorbed the beams of energy.
"Tentomon Digi-Evolve to… Cabutarimon!" shouted the ladybug Digimon.
The confident Cabutarimon hovered above all five Maremon and fired an electro shocker attack downward.
The Maremon were zapped violently but didn't show any sign of defeat.
"Blazing flames!" hollered all five Maremon in unison.
Multiple fireballs were shot at Cabutarimon from all directions.
Cabutarimon dodged as many fireballs as he could by rolling his body into them.
All five Maremon jumped into the air and called out. "Fire fist!"
Each Maremon punched Cabutarimon with its flaming fist one after the other.
Cabutarimon crashed to the ground with a hard thud.
Mira glared down at the weakened Digimon with fury in her expression.
"What are you doing on the floor? Get up pest," she demanded roughly.
Cabutarimon tried lifting himself into the air but to no avail.
Enraged, Mira stomped up to Cabutarimon before slamming her strap across his back.
Cabutarimon jolted as he lifted his head.
From his hiding spot, Wizardmon watched the horrific scene with sad eyes.
He hated seeing another Digimon get treated with such cruelty.
"I am tired of you not listening to me, pest! Fight those fire creatures and get them out of my way!" she yelled.
Cabutarimon raised himself up off the ground with every ounce of strength he had left.
Mira held the button down on her Digivice which emitted more beams of energy at Cabutarimon from her Digivice.
Cabutarimon reluctantly absorbed them and grew larger.
"Cabutarimon Digi-Evolve to… Mega Cabutarimon," he said.
"I've seen enough out of this bothersome girl. She'll pay for her careless and aggressive behavior," growled Wizardmon as he soared through the air.
He sneakily landed behind Mira to get a closer look at the battle.
All five Maremon fired a magma blast attack on Mega Cabutarimon at once.
Mega Cabutarimon dodged the rocks easily with its wings and then flew in circles above the Maremon in order to confuse them.
"Electrical discharge!" he shouted.
The Maremon were zapped into submission by a burst of electricity.
Mega Cabutarimon reverted back to his rookie form and crashed to the ground once again.
Mira stared down at the exhausted Tentomon with a smirk plastered on her face.
"My partnership with you ends right here little pest. I don't want a Digimon who gets tired easily to help me get out of this dumb world. Letting you come with me was a huge mistake on my part," she said before turning away from him.
She then tossed her Digivice on the ground and added. "Keep that stupid device with you."
Tentomon heard every word but didn't budge.
He lay motionless on the floor.
Right as he saw Mira walk away, Wizardmon fearfully rushed to Tentomon's side.
He gently picked up the unconscious Digimon.
"Hey Tentomon, I'm right here. Please wake up," he said softly.
Tentomon continued to lay unresponsive in the palm of Wizardmon's hand.
Wizardmon used his magic healing spell on Tentomon, but he still didn't move.
"Tentomon, I won't let you die. I promise," Wizardmon assured.
He picked up Mira's Digivice and carried it away along with Tentomon.
After a long flight, Wizardmon landed next to a small hut on the beach.
He entered the hut while holding Tentomon close to his chest in a loving way.
"Don't worry Tentomon, I won't leave your side. I'll bring you back to full health," he whispered.
Hours passed by as Wizardmon continued to heal and watch over Tentomon through the night.
Tentomon remained unconscious and didn't show any sign of improvement.
Morning soon came, and Tentomon still hadn't woken up.
Wizardmon sighed heavily as he stared down at his friend.
He was afraid of Tentomon disappearing and turning back into a DigiEgg.
"Tentomon, you don't have to worry about Mira anymore. Please come back to me," he said sadly.
The ladybug Digimon began to twitch in response to Wizardmon's voice.
"Tentomon! Can you hear me?" he called out wearing a hopeful expression.
Tentomon started to shiver in Wizardmon's embrace.
"It's okay Tentomon, I've got you. You're safe now," Wizardmon reassured.
Tentomon slowly opened his eyes and stared blankly at Wizardmon.
"Where am I?" he whispered weakly.
"I took you to a safe place while you were unconscious. Mira can't harm you now. I'm going to make sure you're well again before I release you into the wild," Wizardmon answered.
Hearing the sound of his previous tamer's name caused Tentomon to flinch in fear.
Tentomon's breathing started to increase in speed as a flashback entered his mind.

~End Flashback~
Wizardmon tightened his hold on the distressed Digimon in a comforting way.
"What's wrong Tentomon?" Wizardmon asked softly.
There was no response from him.
Tentomon closed his eyes tightly and started to shake violently.
Wizardmon placed his hand over Tentomon and started to rub him gently.
"Calm down Tentomon, I'm still here. You'll be okay," he assured soothingly.
Tentomon slowly let himself relax under Wizardmon's touch.
Wizardmon waited patiently for Tentomon to calm down.
Tentomon opened his eyes and stared up at Wizardmon.
"Hey Tentomon, can you tell me what just happened?" Wizardmon asked smoothly.
"I just had a flashback about Mira making me Digi-Evolve to my ultimate level," Tentomon answered shyly.
Wizardmon held the frightened Digimon close to his chest.
"Oh Tentomon, I am so sorry for not stopping her sooner. You never deserved to suffer like that," he said sadly.
"Don't worry Wizardmon, that mess wasn't your fault. I shouldn't have chose Mira to be my tamer," Tentomon replied.
A brief moment of silence passed between them.
"I'll help you find a new tamer who is kind and compassionate. You can count on me," Wizardmon said with love.
Tentomon yawned and fell asleep in his caretaker's warm embrace.
A month had passed by since Wizardmon had saved Tentomon from his aweful tamer.
Tentomon had been brought back to full health in Wizardmon's care.
Wizardmon was always there to help Tentomon calm down after his flashbacks and recurring nightmares.
The two best friends remained inseparable even when Wizardmon released Tentomon back into the wild.
