Chapter 15
"How far is he?" asked Sasuke
"This is weird, his scent is going on and off" replied Sakura
"What do you mean?"
"His scent disappears at times and then reappears in the opposite direction"
"But it's our only lead. We have nothing else"
"I know." The two continued to jump from tree to tree until they reached a clearing. There was an entrance to a cave.
"This must be it. His scent stops here" They looked at each other and nodded. They ran inside the cave and both searched for their target. They met in the centre of the lair.
"I can't find him. You?"
"Not a thing" They looked at each other. They both sensed something but they can't seem to find anything. A loud sound suddenly made Sakura jump. It seemed like a wall had collapsed. She opened her eyes to find Sasuke smirking at her. She realised that she had jumped onto Sasuke with her arms around his neck. Her face turned red as she pushed him away aware that his smirk was still on his face. Her frustration grew and she punched the wall to release it. Sasuke looked at her in amusement but his grin slowly disappeared as he saw the other side of the hole that she had made.
"Sakura, look" Sasuke said pointing behind her. Sakura's eyes grew as she saw that she had created an entrance to a room; a secret room by the looks of it. The place was filled with dust and cobwebs. Sakura summoned a mini flame as they looked around the newly discovered room.
The room was filled with stacks and stacks of scrolls. They went through a few and their eyes widened. They were instructions to jutsus that could potentially destroy humanity if used. Sasuke's eyes widened as he read another scroll. They were instructions on how to obtain Sharingan. He was shocked to say the least. By the looks of the instructions it seems only steps of obtaining the basic Sharingan but it was still unheard of. Sakura had discovered scrolls on other kekkai gekkai. They quickly gathered a few to show Tsunade. But a voice made them freeze.
"I congratulate you for finding this room Sasuke-kun and his little wussy" They both recognised the distinct voice. Sasuke turn around in shock and Sakura turned around in anger at the person who had dared call her a wussy. They turned around to see Orochimaru. Sakura's anger was replaced with shock while Sasuke's mouth was literally hanging.
"T-That's impossible…I KILLED YOU!"
"Tsk Tsk Sasuke-kun you should know by now the difference between a copy and the real thing" Sakura's anger quickly returned.
"Oi do you not see me? Wow Sasuke he really doesn't see me" Orochimaru turned and smiled at Sakura in scorn.
"Sakura-chan, why would I acknowledge such a weakling when a person of power is in the room? Besides, when were we ever on greeting terms?" Sakura started laughing and looked up with hatred in her eyes.
"Wow! He really wants his head bashed in" She suddenly raced towards him and punched him in the face. Sasuke was too shocked to process what happened. Orochimaru flew back a few metres from the impact of her punch. He got up again and scoffed.
"I see your speed has increased"
"I see you're still a paedophile. I'm sorry but you're not having my boyfriend" Sasuke looked at her in surprise but inside he was leaping with joy. Sakura smirked at Orochimaru and clicked her fingers. In an instant they were gone. Orochimaru cursed but then a plan formulated in his mind; he called out into the shadows.
"Oi"
"Hai Orochimaru-sama"
"Follow them"
"Hai" Orochimaru grinned. Let's see how you react to this Sakura-chan.
*with Sasuke and Sakura
"Oi Sasuke, why did you become a statue in there?" Sasuke was still trying to process what had happened in the room and looked up with his eyes clouded with confusion. Sakura let out of sigh of frustration and hit him on the head. In an instant, his normal angry eyes returned.
"Ow.."
"Focus Sasuke" He blinked and turned away.
"This is impossible, the dead do not return to the living"
"Nothing is impossible Sasuke, and if what he says is true then what you killed was a clone"
"But.."
"Sasuke, the problem on hand is that he is alive and we need to kill him. Understand?"
"Hai.." Sakura was thinking hard, you could see the wheels ticking in her head.
"Sasuke, we need to report this to Hokage-sama"
"I figured that much, let's hurry back to Konoha" Sakura suddenly heard a slight rustle and as fast as lightning she threw a kunai. Sasuke looked at the area with Sharingan on.
"It was a ninja with its chakra masked. Who is it?" When the ninja escaped his cover faulted a little. Sakura's eyes widened as a familiar scent filled her nose. Her arms started shaking and her breath became shallow. Sasuke noticed her sudden change and embraced her.
"Are you ok?" Sakura shook her head and buried her face into his chest, arms around his neck.
"It's nothing, you're right. The dead do not return to the living…" she looked up at the stoic eyes with hints of concern and smiled. She slowly kissed him. Sasuke kissed back, surprised. Sakura suddenly broke free. Confused, Sasuke looked at her and found her blushing. He realise that they were kissing in the middle of the forest. He smirked at her shyness and suddenly picked her up, princess style.
"SASUKE! LET ME DOWN!"
"Not until you give me another kiss"
"NO!"
"Then, we will return to Konoha like this"
"Fine" She leaned down and gave him a small peck. Sasuke started leaning in for more but couldn't because she had started wriggling again. Still firmly holding her, he said
"A REAL one" Sakura glared at him.
"FINE" She crashed her lips onto his. He kissed back willingly. They withdrew, both content. Sakura looked away and muttered "Male hormones.." Sasuke smirked and said
"Let's go back to Konoha"
*With Orochimaru
"Why are you back?"
"My cover was nearly blown"
"I see, we must not reveal your identity yet. Sakura- chan will be surprised" The figure came out from the shadows.
"Let's get this plan into action… Kenji"
*Back in Konoha
"SASUKE-KUN, YOUR BACK!" Karin entered the Hokage's office to find Sasuke's arm around Sakura's waist.
"YOU PINK HAIRED SLUT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Sakura turned around and smirked.
"Oh this? This is nothing, right Sasuke-kun" Sasuke smirked at her antics. She was now the master of pissing people off.
"Sorry, Karin. I'm am officially taken" Karin's eyes grew as large as plates.
"NO! YOU WERE ALREADY TAKEN! BY ME! RELEASE HIM FROM YOUR SPELL YOU PINK HAIRED WITCH" Sakura frowned and whispered to Sasuke.
"Hey, why does my hair have anything to do with his? All her insults include my hair."
"I have no idea" Tsunade was rubbing her temples.
"Shizune, please escort Karin from this building, her shouting is giving me a head ache."
"Yes Tsunade-sama" Karin left the building screaming,
"YOU WON'T GET AWAY FROM THIS, SASUKE-KUN WILL BE MINE"
Tsunade looked back at them, seriousness on her face.
"So you're saying that Orochimaru is still alive?"
"Hai, we found a scroll room after I destroyed a wall"
"I see, these jutsus are centuries old and are known as the Lost Forbidden Jutsus or more famously known as LF Jutsus" Sakura picked a scroll and started reading, and as she read on her eyes widened. Sasuke, interested in the Sharingan scroll asked
"But do they actually work? I've never heard of anyone obtaining permanent Sharingan through jutsus" Sakura looked up, shaken. The scroll she was holding dropped to the ground. Tsunade and Sasuke turned towards her. She managed to mutter out a few words.
"I-Impossible.." she sunk to her knees. Sasuke was by her side in seconds. He gently shook her shoulders.
"Sakura, are you ok?" Her pupils were dilating and her hands were shaking. Tsunade picked up the scroll she was reading and she also gasped. They were instructions to Dark Blossom jutsus.
"S-Sakura… you-you've been using LF Jutsus all this time… how?" Sasuke looked at her in confusion.
"What?!"
"I didn't know! I thought they were just a field of jutsus that weren't famously known.." Tsunade knelt beside her and asked her in a very serious voice.
"Where did you learn the jutsus?" Sakura looked up, eyes lined with tears.
"K-Kenji… taught me.." Tsunade and Sasuke both looked shocked.
"But that's impossible! How did he know these jutsus?!" Sasuke looked at her weak from and tried to help her out.
"Maybe the jutsus got mixed up. Maybe Kenji had nothing to do with this. Perhaps he didn't even know!" Tsunade looked at Sasuke in surprise.
"You know about Kenji?" He just nodded his head. But Sakura shook her head.
"Kenji never told me must about his life… he could have been dangerous and I didn't even know" Sasuke was surprised. He had expected her to become possessive of Kenji if he was ever accused of being bad.
"Besides…those blossom jutsus wasn't the only thing that he taught me…" Sakura suddenly turned guilty.
"Tsunade sama I haven't even told you this.. so please don't be mad at me.." Tsunade nodded.
"Sasuke you too…I didn't know how Kenji knew so please don't be mad." Sasuke slowly nodded. Sakura took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She then whispered something that made Sasuke choke on his own spit.
"Sharingan" When she opened her eyes, true enough her eyes were red with the two black tomoe. Sasuke's own Sharingan turned on and Sakura's eyes turned back to normal. He released a low growl and Sakura seemed to shrink even more as if afraid of his reaction.
"Sakura…you can use Sharingan…"
"Sasuke…I didn't know it was a LF Jutsu…" Sasuke stormed out the door. Tsunade looked at Sakura with sympathy. A few days in their relationship and something like this happened. She helped Sakura up and guided her out her office.
"Sakura, you should go visit your other friends… you haven't made contact with them in a long time." She just slowly nodded, the image of Sasuke storming out still fresh in her mind. Sakura trudged out and made her way to Ino's house. She rang the bell and heard Ino's footsteps.
"Hai…eh…SAKURA!" Sakura weakly smiled. Ino just stood there with her mouth hanging.
"But…. You..what?!" It was then Sakura's turn to be surprised. She heard another person come out.
"Ino…what's wrong… what troublesome thing is happening now?" Sakura's eyes widened. It was none other Shikamaru Nara. But something was different. Sakura looked between them and when Ino looked over at him, she blushed and started yelling
"FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE SHIKA-KUN PUT A SHIRT ON!"
I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT THE WHOLE OBTAINING SHARINGAN WASN'T MY ORIGINAL IDEA. I READ IN ANOTHER STORY ABOUT SAKURA OBTAINING SHARINGAN AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA. IF YOU OWN A STORY ABOUT THIS THEN IM SORRY IF YOU DON'T ALLOW ME TO USE THE IDEA.
