***I know that I haven't give you an update for two weeks but I didn't have the time to do it...However here I am with another chapter! I hope you like it!

After the escape from the Malfoy Manor, Harry, Ron and Hermione with Draco's help, found the other horcrux. Soon they decided that it was time to return to Hogwarts where Harry believed that one of the horcruxes was. When they returned they joined their friends and fought together the two Carrows. When Hogwarts came again under the control of the light side Voldemort arrived and the battle started. Screams could be heard by students who were trying to defend their selves against the death eaters while trying to protect their friends as well. People had already started to fall dead to the ground. The corridors had already been broken from spells and one part of the west castle had already fallen.

Draco was standing in the center of the Great Hall. ''You will pay for what you have done father'' He yelled and send a stanner towards his father

Lucius Malfoy laughed coldly. ''What are you going to do boy? You don't stand a change against me.'' He said and send the killing curse towards Draco

Draco was fast enough and the curse didn't hurt him. ''Don't be so sure father.'' He yelled

''Oh I am more than sure Draco. I will kill you and then I will torture and probably I will even take as a slave your filty mudblood girlfriend Draco. And that's a promise.'' Lucius said and laughed again

Draco was frozen but he suddenly yelled ''You will never touch Hermione. I will kill you first. AVADA KEDAVRA'' Draco yelled and saw his father socked face when the curse hit him and he fell down to the floor dead. He looked at his father and then saw from the corner of his eye Harry and Ron fighting three death eaters and went to help them.

When the three death eaters finally fell to the floor dead Ron turned around and looked Draco ''Good timing mate'' he said

Before Draco could say something Blaise arrived out of breath ''Guys Hermione is going to find Severus at the Shrieking Shack. We heard two death eaters saying that Voldemort was going to meet Severus there.'' Blaise said and the three boys nodded and run towards the Shrieking Shack panicked.

''HERMIONE WAIT'' The three friends yelled when they saw Hermione running.

Hermione continued running trying to get to her father before it was too late. She didn't even look back not for one moment. She could hear voices telling her to stop but she couldn't. She knew that if she stopped she would lose time and her father in the end. The words of the two Death Eaters were playing in her mind over and over ''The Dark Lord asked Severus to meet him at the Shrieking Shack.'' She knew what that meant. Voldemort had learned about her father being a spy. She knew that she would lose him in the end. She couldn't even think about it and she run faster than before while dodging spells which were sent at her way through the battlefield. She was scared. She admitted that. But she couldn't stop. No she couldn't.

Draco, Harry and Ron were running frantic behind Hermione. They had to catch up on her before she could arrive where Voldemort was. They could understand why she was running like a maniac but they had to stop her. They run faster. They were near her and they were close enough to stop her. They were nearly there. Few meters away it was the Shrieking Shack. Draco reached Hermione first and wrapped his arms around her making her stop.

Hermione struggled to get free. She tried to push Draco's arms away from around her but she couldn't. Tears had started to stream down her face. ''Let me go. Let me go. Please! I have to go there. I have to save my father. Please! LET. ME. GO!'' She said but Draco didn't let go of her. Suddenly they heard voices and the four of them hide.

Hermione put her hands at Draco's and looked at him. Draco caressed her cheek. ''Shhh'' he whispered to her and put her head to his chest. They could easily hear what they were saying inside.

Severus was looking warily at Voldemort and said ''You have performed extraordinary magic with this wand, my Lord, in the last few hours alone.''

Voldemort walked towards Severus but stayed few meters away ''No. No, I am extraordinary, but the wand... resists me.'' He said and looked Severus with irony.

Severus didn't changed his position ''There is no wand more powerful, Ollivander himself has said. Tonight, when the boy comes, it will not fail you, I am sure of it. It answers to you and you only.'' He said and looked at Voldemort trying to make him understand that he was at his side.

Voldemort looked at him with the same irony and said ''Does it?''

Severus looked worried and said ''My Lord...''

Voldemort moved the wand in front of him while looking at it and said ''The wand, does it truly answer to me? You're a clever man, Severus. Surely, you must know, where does its true loyalty lie?''

Severus looked more worried than before. He was trying to not show it to Voldemort but he was sure that he was failing. Finally he opened his mouth and said ''With you, of course, my Lord.''

Voldemort raise his wand to check it again and said ''The Elder Wand cannot serve me properly because I am not its true master. The Elder Wand belongs to the wizard who killed its last owner. You killed Dumbledore, Severus. While you live, the Elder Wand cannot truly be mine. You've been a good and faithful servant, Severus, but only I can live - forever.'' He said and looked angry and certain that what he said was the right thing

Outside of the room Hermione knew were this was going. She tried to get up but failed because Draco had grabbed her hand and didn't let go, Tears were streaming down her cheeks rapidly now. She touched the necklace her father gave her. She closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and opened them again. She was breathing heavy and Draco could feel it. He knew that Severus was going to die. He knew that Voldemort would kill him now.

Inside the room Severus looked Voldemort and with fear he said ''My Lord...''

Voldemort waved his wand and slashed with it Severus throat and blood spilled all around while Severus fell on the window.

Hermione gasped and put her hand to her mouth. She started to cry silently. Her father was dying, she knew it. She faced Draco and she saw him closing his eyes.

Voldemort looked at Severus and said ''Nagini, kill.'' Nagini repeatedly bitted Severus, mortally wounding him.

When Voldemort left Hermione stood up first and run towards the room. She opened forcefully the door and yelled ''NOOO'' and fell at her father's side. ''Dad! Daddy! Look at me.'' She said and clutched his body in hers while wrapping her arms around his body. The tears were rolling down her cheeks and were falling at Severus.

Severus looked beside him and saw his daughter teary face but smiled ''My angel'' he whispered and with pain he put his palm to her cheek. ''Don't- cry little girl'' he whispered to her

''Dad'' she said and closed her eyes taking a deep breath

''You will be fine my dear. Remember this! No matter where I am, I will be there by your side to protect you from harm. I will never leave you alone'' He said and looked at her one last time before closing his eyes and look at the other side of the room.

When she saw her father closing his eyes and looking away she screamed. ''Please dad, please stay with me. Don't leave me alone. Please! I need you. I need you'' she said again and again over Severus dead body. She was rocking him. She started to shake him and said ''Dad, wake up! WAKE UP!'' she yelled.

Few minutes later Hermione felt a hand to her shoulder and a figure kneeling beside her. She looked and saw Draco looking at her while his own tears were falling. ''Come on love, we have to go back.'' He said and helped her to stand up. Hermione laid her father on the floor carefully and stood up with Draco's help. She looked at Harry and Ron. Both of them hugged her and Harry said ''I will kill him Mione. I swear to you'' He said and the four friends left to go back to Hogwarts.
