Day 2 (Afternoon)

"..." Eve stared into her closet at the four outfits that were hung up. The first outfit was her winter uniform. The second was her… well… night wear. The third outfit was a ball gown that she was supposed to wear to social meetings that she used to go to with her parents. The last outfit was her school bathing suit with the name 'Yoshida' printed across the chest. As rich as she is, Eve rarely left her large home to go buy clothes that she could wear. She found that one's appearance wasn't important in life.

Eve sighed and walked over to her desk and picked up her flip-phone. Yes, a flip-phone. She dialed Aisha's number and waited for her to pick up.

"Eve-chan? It's been a while since you called me… What's up?"

Eve laid down on her bed. "Yes… Can you do me a favor? I need an outfit that I can wear to a-" She coughed. "-date." She held the phone a good arm's length from her ear as Aisha screamed loudly, causing her parents to yell at her to be quiet.

"A DATE?! Oh Eve-chan, you naughty girl. You're just telling me this right now?" She tsked. "I'll be over in ten minutes."

A good ten minutes (and fifteen seconds) later Aisha barged into Eve's room. Ophelia and Oberon, Eve's puppies from a litter of four, followed Aisha while wagging their tails.

"Okay~ Fashion seamstress Aisha-sama here to help!" Aisha smiled and placed a couple of hangers with clothes on them onto Eve's bed.

Eve lifted the hangers up one by one and gave a blank face to each of them.

"You don't like?" Aisha questioned.

Eve didn't answer but proceeded to rip the frill off of a skirt.

Aisha stared calmly and held her hand out. "3,000 yen."

"One second…" Eve took out her scissors and cut the sleeves off of a light pink shirt.

After much cutting, tearing, and replacing Eve had accessembled the perfect date outfit. (She also ended up giving Aisha 9,000 yen.)

Eve spun around in front of a mirror while Aisha clapped. Now, imagine Eve in a high-low pink dress with leather boots up to her knees. Then add a small crown to her head. (Yes, it was insisted by Aisha who secretly wanted to keep Eve's himedere image.)

"Aisha-sama's work is complete!" Aisha grinned while petting Oberon.

Eve did a resemblance of what looked like a blush. "Thank you Aisha-san."

"So, you're really going to the date with Sieghart-kun?" Aisha asked.

"Yes. It would be rude not to. Anyways Aisha-san, can I trust you to look after Ophelia and Oberon while I'm gone?"

"Of course!" Aisha beamed.

"Thank you." Eve gave a small bow and exited the room while muttering, "Stricken City… Stricken City…"

"Is this it?" Eve mused as she stood in front of a small sized diner with two mermaid like statues in the front.

"What'cha waiting for?" Elsword asked from behind her.

Eve shivered. "When did you appear there Sieghart-kun?"

Elsword winked and grabbed her wrist and led her inside. "Hey." He nodded to the waitress at the front desk who waved.

"Elsword! Welcome!" She noticed Eve and smirked. "Another one already~? She doesn't really seem like your type though…"

In front of Eve, Elsword rolled his eyes. "Gotta catch them all, right?"

The waitress blinked in confusion but quickly shook her head and stretched an arm towards to booths. "Right this way." She led them to a booth next to the window.

Eve sat down and looked around and admired the restaurant. It was quaint with medium windows that looked out over an ocean. The booths were furnished with fluffy pillows and a cinnamon scent waffed from the kitchen into the dining area. Other high school students filled up tables around Eve and Elsword, including what looked like a double date.

Eve picked up the menu and felt a border line of bamboo with a fresh cedar wood smell.

She stared at the menu and slightly widened her eyes at the numerous amount of items that lined the pages.

Elsword smiled to himself and stuck out a finger and lowered Eve's menu and flipped the page over. "I recommend the Dacquoise cake. Unless you are allergic to nuts of course. Or the Esterhazy torte if you want to try something new."

Eve's brain took a moment to process the cake names and she nodded.

"Now as for drinks, I would like to recom-"

"Please." Eve held up a hand. "Is there a drink with a simple name that I can actually pronounce?"

Elsword chuckled. "I was about to say that you might like the strawberry-kiwi smoothie, until you cut me off."

"Oh. Forgive me then." Eve sweatdropped.

Eve pondered over a few of the menu items before another waitress came back.

"Have you decided what you would like to eat?" She asked, without smiling.

After Eve listed the various foods (after slipping up with the names several times), she studied the waitress. She looked eerily familiar, with her silver hair and the way her bangs hid her eyes.

Elsword leaned on his palms and stared into Eve's eyes. She stared back at him.

"Why are you staring deep into my eyes?" She asked.

"I could ask the same for you." They still continued to stare at each other before Elsword cleared his throat.

"So tell me. You and Aisha… How did that friendship happen?"

Eve tried to hide her look of surprise. Behind her, someone started coughing. "Um well… It's a long story." Underneath the table she pressed her palms together.

"We have time. Good food takes a while to make you know." Elsword got comfortable as he waited for Eve to start.

"Well, shortly after my parents died, I was forced to attend social parties with adults in their place. It was tiring greeting everyone and I rested outside on the patio. I heard some higher up member comment about my parents and laugh about how their death was like a blessing from the gods." Eve's lip quivered. "My mother always told me to not cry in public because it was bad, and to always wait until I get home. So imagine me trembling, trying to stop myself from crying… It was a pathetic image. But Aisha came and helped comfort me. And I guess that was how our friendship started."

Elsword laughed. "I can't imagine you crying. How did your parents die though?"

Eve froze up, and opened her mouth but no sound came out. All of the sudden, a plate was tossed into the air and came crashing onto Elsword's head.

He cringed and slowly brought a hand to his head. "Sieghart-kun!" Eve said, alarmed.

The waitresses rushed over with gloves and picked out the broken shards out of his hair and lap. "We're so sorry Elsword. Who would do this?"

Elsword shrugged. "It comes with being handsome. There are always bastards who are jealous." The waitress bowed and apologized once again with a promise of a ten dollar discount before leaving to attend to the other customers.

Elsword scratched his head. "Weird. I feel a bit itchy here…"

Eve quinted and sighed. "Please move over."

Elsword happily obliged. "With me being hurt you suddenly fall for me? I should get injured more often."

"Don't be silly." She pushed his head down onto her lap and moves tufts of his hair aside to reveal a small, but noticeable, scar. Eve muttered to herself as she raked a nail across the scar, removing a plate shard from the scar.

"Ow." Elsword winced.

"It's gone now, so get up." She commanded but he smirked.

"Make me."

Eve flicked his forehead and moved back to the opposite side of the booth. Elsword held his forehead and sat up.

"Your food is ready. Enjoy." The silver haired waitress placed the cakes on the table and walked away.

Eve picked up a piece of the cake with her fork and brought it to her mouth. Instantly, the hazelnut taste melted into her mouth. She quickly took another piece and within twenty seconds she had already devoured twenty-five percent of her cake.

Elsword, meanwhile, felt a threat as he was usually the first one to finish his food. He persuaded himself that no one would care how he eats and took a big bite out of the cake that he was eating. As he finished fifty percent of his cake- he looked up to see Eve dabbing her mouth with a napkin with a empty plate in front of her. He gaped at her.

Eve placed down the napkin and saw Elsword once again- honestly, did the boy have a staring fetish?- staring at her. "Is there a problem?" She asked haughtily, but then softened her tone as she reminded herself that he was the one who showed her such a great restaurant.

"Don't mind me asking, but how do you eat so fast?" Elsword glanced from his plate to hers.

"What do you mean?" Eve wrinkled her forehead in confusion.

"Nothing." Elsword smiled. Usually, the girls he took to the diner would only eat a bit of the food then place down their forks and proclaim themselves to still be on a diet and refuse to eat anymore. Honestly, Elsword found Eve's fast eating very interesting and unique.

"...Pig." A girl snickered.

Both Eve and Elsword looked up to a table next to theirs with three girls who were giggling at Eve while batting their eyelashes at Elsword.

"Hi Elsword-kun~." One of them- presumingly the leader- winked.

"Hey." Elsword waved, though he honestly forgot their names.

"What are you doing here?" A more petite girl asked.

"I'm on a date with my girlfriend. Now if you excuse me, I have to go pay the bill." He walked to the front desk.

Eve resisted the urge to quickly correct the term. She didn't feel the need to be caught up in girl-drama. Oh wait, it was too late. Elsword might as well be digging her grave. Leaving her with demon-like girls? Oh yeah, smart idea Elsword.

Instantaneously all six eyes were on Eve and they scanned her up and down.

"Her? Nerdy Yoshida?" They didn't try hiding their disgust.

The first girl walked up to Eve, a banana-manga smoothie in hand, and placed her free palm onto the table.

"I bet you feel sooo proud of yourself for seducing Elsword-kun to becoming your girlfriend… slut." She sneered. "I saw what you were doing, keep your filthy hands off of him. I bet there wasn't even anything in his hair."

Eve clenched her teeth but remained silent.

"Not going to say anything? Fine, be that way, bitch!"

Eve saw what was coming and slapped the girl.

"Hikari!" The petite girl called out in alarm.

Hikari giggled. "You disgusting pig…" She poured the drink all over Eve.

Eve still stayed silent. Elsword was returning to the table, and once he saw Eve he rushed over. "Eve what-"

Eve glared at him and speed walked away.

Normally Elsword wouldn't be concerned, but in the two days that he'd known Eve, this was the first time he had ever seen vulnerability in her emotionless eyes.

He turned to the trio, who flinched as they saw his eyes. He smiled widely and flipped them off and proceeded to follow the fleeing silvernette.

Eve was sitting on a bench under a lone street lamp, she was running her hands through her hair when Elsword ran up and sat next to her.

"Hey, are you ok?" He took out a handkerchief out of his jean pocket and helped wipe off the smoothie from Eve's hair.

"Of course. I'm used to this." Eve curtly replied, her voice cracked.

"You need to stand up for yourself." Elsword said.

"I'm trying."

Elsword shoved his soaked handkerchief back into his pocket. "Hey, next time you're being bullied, tell me. I'll deal with them."

Eve shook her head. "You'll make it worst." She repeated her words in her head. "No offense."

"None taken." Elsword gave a sad smile. "C'mon Eve," He held his hand out to her. "I'll walk you home."

Eve didn't hesitate as she daintily placed her small hand into his hand. "Thank you Sieghart-kun."

"Oh come on. After taking you on a date, you still call me Sieghart?" Elsword groaned.

Eve rolled her eyes. "Yes. I refuse to call you by your first name."

Elsword sighed but smiled. "Don't worry. You will soon."

Eve ignored him. "By the way… Who paid the bill?"

Aisha's POV of the same story (This is my Christmas gift to you all o/)

"Hmmm." Aisha stared at her reflection in her mirror. "I'm getting tired of pigtails…" She whispered to herself and started to Google other tie-up hairstyles when a familiar number flashed on her cell phone's screen. "No way."

She pressed the talk button and exclaimed, "Eve-chan? It's been a while since you called me… What's up?"

" Yes… Can you do me a favor? I need an outfit that I can wear to a-" Eve coughed. "-date."

Aisha blinked. And blinked. Then screamed happily.

"Aisha! Please, the neighbors will complain again!" Her mother yelled at her.

"Gomen!" She yelled back while covering the mic.

"Oh Eve-chan you naughty girl. You're telling me this now?" Aisha tsked while looking through her spare closet. "I'll be over in ten minutes." She hung up and fell against her closet door while coughing loudly.

"...Darn it...Not now." She wheezed and crawled to a box of medicene pills. She cracked it open and swallowed two pills whole while chugging a glass of water. She leaned against her dresser and waited a few minutes before standing up again.

"Ok. Cute date outfits for Eve-chan and her date with..." She swallowed. "Elsword..." She quickly shook her head. "No! It's Sieghart-kun to you!"

Aisha cracked her knuckles and pulled a few hangers off and onto her bed. She scanned them and nodded. "Good enough." She rolled them up and hopped down the stairs towards the front door.

"Nee-san, you're going to Eve's house again?" Aisha's little brother, Hikaru asked.

Aisha nodded.

"Can you give her this for me?" He held up a glass heart ornament with colorful ashes floating inside.

Aisha sighed. Her brother's sweet innocent love for Eve was sometimes very irritating. "Come closer Karu. I'll tell you a secret." She beckoned him closer with her free hand."

Hikaru stepped closer.

"Eve-chan… She has a boyfriend now." Aisha whispered, and Hikaru straightened up.

"B-b-boyfriend?!" He exclaimed, clutching his glass heart to his chest.

"That's right." Aisha stuck her tongue out but took the ornament from her beloved brother and headed out the door calling, "I'm leaving now!"

Aisha hummed as she skipped towards the rich part of her neighborhood.

"Honestly… Eve-chan is lucky to be able to go out with El-" She coughed. "I mean, Sieghart-kun."

Her eyes turned glassy for a second before she shook her head. "Fight Aisha! Eve-chan is your best friend! You have to support her!"

In case you haven't noticed yet, Aisha has a bad habit of talking to herself.

She reached Eve's house and pulled out an extra key that Eve gave her and unlocked the door. Immediately, Eve's two dogs, Oberon and Ophelia came running up to her. Aisha placed the glass heart on a nearby table along with the hangers and giggled as she petted the two mutts.

"Oh! I can't keep Eve waiting…" She hurriedly picked up the hangers and rushed to Eve's room, unconsciously leaving the glass heart behind.

"Okay~ Fashion seamstress Aisha-sama here to help!" Aisha sang as she twirled, almost tripping over Oberon, and placed the hangers onto the bed.

She sat on the floor and watched as Eve gave no reaction to any of the hangers as she examined the clothes.

"You don't like?" Aisha asked the obvious. She flinched as Eve ripped the frills off of a velvet skirt. Aisha rolled her eyes and held out her hand.

"3,000 yen."

"One second…" Eve pulled out hot pink razor sharp scissors and cut off the sleeves of a beautiful (and expensive) blouse.

Aisha made a trip to the kitchen and back and waited patiently. As Eve placed together a dress and boots (Aisha found them in the back of Eve's closet) Aisha quickly dug in an old jewelry box of Eve's and added a small tiara.

Eve turned around in front of a three sided mirror as Aisha clapped.

"Aisha-sama's work is complete!" Aisha winked.

Eve's cheeks tinted pink. "Thank you Aisha-san."

Aisha grinned. So even Eve could become embarrassed at times.

"So you're really going on a date with Sieghart-kun?" Aisha blurted out and lightly slapped herself for asking.

"Yes. It would be rude not to. Anyways Aisha-san, can I trust you to look after Ophelia and Oberon while I'm gone?" Aisha noticed how quickly Eve changed the subject.

"Of course!" Aisha gave a big fake smile.

"Thank you." Eve uncomfortably gave a small bow of gratitude and left the room while muttering something that Aisha couldn't hear.

Aisha stumbled to Eve's bedroom window and watched Eve walk towards the diner.

"Okay!" Aisha pumped her fist in the air. "It's time!" She tied her hair into a ponytail and slipped on a New York Yankee's cap. She then led Ophelia and Oberon to their cages and gently pushed them inside.

"Gomen Obby, Ophelia. I need to do this." She apologized.

Aisha weighed the pros and cons about what she was about to do as she walked to Eve's front door. She slapped herself. Hard.

"BAKA." She yelled. Aisha exited Eve's house, locked the door, and sprinted towards the Stricken City Diner using a short cut.

Aisha appeared at the front in the matter of minutes. She had visited the diner many times before whenever she needed a quiet place to study.

She walked inside and the bell chimed once. The waitress at the front looked up and grinned.

"Aisha~!" She waved.

Aisha couldn't resist smiling back. "Hey Hannah."

Hannah picked up a menu and started walking into the dining area. "Where would you like to sit?"

Aisha scanned the room but was interrupted by a voice.

"No need. She's with us."

Aisha didn't even try to hide her shock as found the owner of the voice, Rena Harada. She was even more shocked to see Kat Neko sitting across from Rena.

"You are?" Hannah asked, confused.

"Yep." Aisha answered and slid next to Kat.

"I see. Call me over when you're ready to order then!" Hannah smiled and turned when Rena held up a hand.

"Wait a moment. Hannah-san was it? I would like to request something. If you see a red head and a silvernette, please bring them to this booth." Rena pointed to the one that was behind theirs.

"I'll try." Hannah said.

Aisha waited until Hannah was out of earshot before staring at Rena and Kat. "Why-"

"We're all here for the same reason. To spy on Elsword's and Eve's date." Rena stated.

Kat sank down in her seat, turning red. "I told you… That's not why I'm here."

Aisha decided that Kat was a very bad liar. Then again, she was even worst. "I'm not here to spy on those two…" She muttered. "I have better things to do."

Rena raised an eyebrow. "Oh really now Hayashi-san? As far as I know, you've had a crush on Sieghart-kun for a very long time. Isn't that right?"

Kat turned to Aisha, narrowing her eyes slightly.

Aisha held up her hands and sweatdropped. "N-no. Not really…"

Kat opened her mouth to say something when the trio heard Elsword's voice.

"...them all, right?" He was grinning at Hannah who was leading them to the table behind Rena.

Kat diverted her attention to Eve. "Nya… She's pretty."

Aisha smiled proudly.

Rena leaned over and pushed Kat's head down.

"They'll find us out if you stare that much!" Rena hissed.

Kat glared at Rena and swatted her arm away.

"You two! Quit!" Aisha whispered loudly.

Kat huffed and gazed out the window and Rena simply took out a mirror and re did her makeup.

"This is why I don't like cats." Rena mumbled.

Kat clenched her fists on top of the table. "And I hate stuck-ups."

"Honestly, you-" Aisha began coughing and she reached for her water. 'Why…' She thought. 'I took my medication...' Her vision blurred but she could see a blur a green leaning over her.

"I'm fine…" Aisha gasped and swallowed half of her glass of water.

"Hayashi-san?" Kat tugged on Aisha's sleeve. "Do you need to go see a doctor?"

"No." Aisha firmly said. She looked past Rena to see Elsword laughing.

"So how did your parents die?" He asked while grinning.

Aisha's eyes widened as she grabbed a plate in front of Rena and threw it at Elsword. The sound of crashing followed moments later.

"Hayashi-san!" Rena and Kat whisper-yelled.

"S-sorry." Aisha sheepishly apologized but breathed a sigh of relief as Eve wasn't forced to answer Elsword's question. As the other waitresses rushed over to attend to Elsword, Hannah then appeared next to Aisha's table.

"Forgive me, I almost forgot about you three. What would you like to eat?" She questioned, ignoring the scene next to them.

"The usual." Rena and Aisha answered at the same time. They both looked at each other in surprise. Aisha would've never guessed that the rich Rena Harada would come to the not-so-rich restaurant in Stricken City.

"Er… I'll have what they're having." Kat said.

Hannah smiled. "Okay, your food will be ready in moments."

"So, you come here often?" Rena leaned on both of her palms.

"Yes. At times, like after the exams."

Rena's expression softened and she turned to Kat. "You should come here once in a while too. The food's great."

Kat didn't reply but still nodded stiffly.

Rena started talking about nonsense and Aisha tuned out of their conversation and was watching what was happening behind Rena.

A senior from school, Hikari, was facing Eve. Elsword wasn't nearby, Aisha guessed that he went to the bathroom.

She started towards the duo when Kat held her back.

"Hayashi-san, don't."

Aisha grimaced as she watched Hikari pour her smoothie over Eves head.

Aisha clenched her fists and watched as Eve ran away just as Elsword came back. Elsword smiled and flipped off the trio who gasped in return.

"He's still hot." Rin, the small girl, swooned.

Aisha waited until Elsword was gone before she pulled out her ponytail holder.

"Hayashi-san…?" Kat questioned.

Aisha smirked and held a finger to her lips.

"Call me… Void." Aisha pulled off her hat and cracked her knuckles once again.

"Hey bitches~" Aisha sashayed towards them.

They sneered at her. "Who are you?"

"Me? I'm your worst nightmare."

Aisha then swung her fist at Hikari.

Mayumi/Chizu's after-story-notes:

So… how was it? Horrible? Of course it was. I'm still a freakin 13-year-old writer .w. MERRY CHRISTMAS *W*

SMALL EXTRA CHARACTER FILES:

Oberon [Obby] and Ophelia:

Eve's two cute puppies. They come from a LITTER OF FOUR. I WONDER WHY THIS IS IN CAPS. They have become attached to Aisha due to how she visits frequently.

Aisha-

As many of you can see (If you're smart) Aisha has a split personality. When her hair isn't tied up she becomes Void, a violent badass. Void first appeared when Aisha was bullied in third grade, before she met Eve. Void's story appears in Aisha's filler chapter.

In this chapter Aisha appears to be sick… Maybe her sickness can somewhat be connected to Void?

Hikaru-

Aisha's adopted twelve year old brother who has a crush on Eve.

How did he come to like Eve? His story comes in his filler chapter~

Hikari-

Leader of a terrible trio who encounters Eve and Elsword in the Stricken City Diner. She does have a crush on Elsword, but actually idolizes Raven more. Her story will also come in one of the future filler chapters ^^

Appearance: Sandy blonde medium length hair. Always wears a butterfly choker.

Rin-

A small petite girl. Nobody can really describe her as anything other than small and petite since she has no redeeming features. She's secretly an otaku though ;3

Appearance: Short choppy brown hair with a big red bow on her head. She has a heart necklace that her mother gave her.

Hatsuki-

The last member of the trio that seems like just a side character. She's usually quiet, and her only redeeming quality is that she knows karate.

Proto-

In case you haven't figured it out yet, the silver haired waitress in Eve's POV is Proto! She is somewhat a side character in this fanfiction… Unlike Apple who is- *ahem* Nevermind. Ignore that owo.

Hannah-

Hue. Honestly, I was looking for an NPC to use and couldn't think of one… So I just used Hannah qq I think that her personality doesn't really fit into the story. *facedesk* I should've used Ariel.

Elesis-

Elsword's older sister hasn't appeared yet has she~? She actually has an important role in the story o-o! Somewhat like Apple does…

And everyone's used to the Japanese honorifics from anime so… And yes, I'm quite aware that Elsword's from South K since I rage about how South Korea's Elsword is so much more advanced from NA Elsword =w=.
