Sonic
I entered the thrown room to see the King and his daughter (Sally I think her name was) sitting on their high and mighty thrones. I bowed to King Acorn and then went to kiss Sally's hand, she giggled and blushed at my gesture (as all the girls do). "Your majesty, my name is Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog and may I say it is an honour to serve you," I said.
"I'm glad, now if you come with me you can meet all the recruits." The king then got up along with Sally I followed and then two girls, who I hadn't noticed, walked behind us.
The King started talking about the army; I got bored quickly and I didn't really want to talk to Sally so I thought I'd have a little fun.
I looked back at the two girls who were talking between themselves, when they noticed me I winked at them. I looked at their reaction I saw one of them blush, I grinned knowing I- wait is she glaring at me? That's new.
I turned to the king and asked, "Your majesty, who are they?"
Without even looking at them he answered, "The rabbit is Cream she is Sally's lady in waiting and the hedgehog is Amy."
So Cream was the one who blushed and Amy glared, but why? The king hadn't really given me a good explanation so I ask, "Who is she exactly?"
"Mine. She was a present to me from another kingdom; she's been mine for five years now," he answered me.
That still doesn't tell me much, but I decided not to push on. I knew the King wouldn't give me the answers I want, so I'd have to ask Amy.
Amy then glared at the king's back; if looks could kill he would have been dead. I chuckled when I saw her cute little pout. "May I ask what you are laughing at?" Sally asked me.
I didn't want to get her in trouble so I answered quickly. "Just a memory I have of something back home."
"Oh then can you please tell me what it is?" She asked me, looking right at me, she pushed her arms into her breasts so her they were pushed together, in an attempt to make them look bigger.
I didn't want to look like a pervert (even though it's what she wanted), so I looked in to her shiny eyes "Maybe some other time," I answered; I couldn't think it up on the spot.
She turned back around to look at the recruits, who were all standing in a line. I then looked back at the two girls, Amy looked shocked at me, and I smiled and winked at her to let her know her secret was safe. To my surprise she smiled back at me and the other one, Cream, giggled at her.
I looked back at the recruits to see them dressed in golden armour with red capes. "The ones at the front are the more experienced soldiers," the King explained "This is Shadow; he is to be your partner in commanding them." I shook the black and red hedgehogs hand.
"You should be pleased with their work, especially Knuckles and Silver," Shadow told me, he pointed out a red echidna and a grey/silver hedgehog.
"Now I have a meeting to attend to, Shadow could you please show Sonic around?" the King asked him.
Shadow then said he couldn't so the king asked Sally. "I would love to father!" She chirped in excitement.
"If I may milady, you have an appointment with the dress maker now." Cream interrupted, saving me.
"Can't I do it some other time?" Sally argued.
"I'm afraid not milady, the dress maker is here to make your gown for the ball, if he does not see you today then he will not be able to make the dress."
"I am sorry Sonic but you will have to see the palace some other time, come along Amy."
King Acorn turned to leave but I had a crazy idea so I asked, "Couldn't Amy just show me around?" I wanted answers as to who she really was.
"Sorry Sonic, but Amy must come with me; she is not the most trust worthy person," he said.
Why the hell not? "I can keep her in check. I'm a very fast runner so I'll be able to catch if she was to run away." I persisted.
To my surprise the king agreed. "Very well then! Amy you will show Sonic the palace, but you are to be on your best behaviour. Do you promise?" Amy also agreed, I saw relief in her face when he said she could.
"Go on then, be on your way." Amy didn't say anything she just walked in the direction of the palace, so I followed.
