Japan turns to look at his dog who is just sitting at the doorway. He looks back at the blob which still hasn't done anything but swallow things at spit them back out. Should he just leave it? America said he absolutely HAD to go to the meeting today. Could he really just leave this thing in his house for whatever amount of time the meeting lasts? He didn't want to but he kind of has to. He looks at the clock next to his door, 10 am. He has six more hours for the meeting to start.
He grabs a pen from his table that was luckily on the other side of his room. He gently puts the pen on the side of the white blob and steps back to observe. The pen slowly sinks in and disappears from sight. Japan waits for it to fly out. He waits a couple of minutes then paces around. He grabs a pencil and sets it a foot or so away from where he believes he put the pen. It sinks at the same pace and disappears as well. He waits a couple minutes again pacing in front of it, watching for any slight movement. Nothing. This time he grabs a pillow from his bed and puts it away from the pen and pencil area. He puts it on the blob. This time it takes longer for the blob to absorb it and soon the pillow disappears completely. Where do these items go? They just disappear and the blob doesn't get any larger or smaller, it doesn't even make a noise.
Japan walks around the blob until he reaches his wall then he walks around to his other wall. A random white thing hits his house in the corner of his room and it does absolutely nothing but swallow things. He paces around it multiple times waiting for the items to fall out but nothing happens.
The items never came back.
