Normal POV

Rogue and Sting were adorning more serious faces than normal, seeing as they were both involved in this too. I looked at the Spirit Queen with worried eyes.

"What's wrong? Is everything okay?!" I asked worriedly.

"Yes, Duchess. Of course. I wish for you to seek out a certain key. It's the Gate of the Earth. It's our daughter, Daichi. She's contracted with an abusive master. I believe you know her; she was contracted with Gemini, Aries and Scorpio at one time. She belongs to a guild called Raven Tail now as well, which is a guild I believe you are involved with, are you not?"

"That's Dad's guild! Why is Angel in Dad's guild?!" I wondered to myself aloud. I turned to Sting and Rogue. "You guys up to this job?"

"I'm up for it." Sting smirked as Rogue nodded with a small smile on his face.

"We'll do it!" I chirped as she gave me a watery smile of gratitude and disappeared back to her kingdom.

"Wait!" Natsu yelled. "We," he gestured to himself, Gray, Happy, and Erza. "Are your team mates. We're going with you."

I smirked before glaring at Natsu. Holding up my left hand, I let out a borderline insane laugh. "Well my guild mark begs to differ, Natsu. Don't think after all this time that I've forgiven you. You used me like a shield and from Erza. You knew and still know Erza would never seriously hurt you unless you really had it coming to you. You're pathetic."

Natsu snarled. "Who the hell are you to insult me? You sure grew a pair to challenge someone like me."

I laughed another insane laugh and stepped towards him. "Oh how I'd love to beat your pretty little face in. I wanna be the one that makes it bleed during the Games."

"As if a weakling like you could take me on."

Rogue, having had enough of Natsu's insults, stepped in front of Natsu. "Watch your fucking mouth. You have no idea what the hell you're talking about, Salamander. Insult her strength again, and you will meet my fist in Dragon Force. Lucy is a beautiful young woman that could easily take your ego down a couple pegs."

Everyone looked at Rogue with wide eyes, including Sting and Lucy. Sting and Lucy had never heard Rogue say that much at one point, let alone swear. Carefully walking up to Rogue, she pulled him away from Natsu; a huge blush staining her cheeks.

"Back down for now. We'll take him at the Games. We have a job to do." Sting said after I said my farewells to my family and friends.

I could see the tension in Rogue's form as he walked. "Rogue, Sting is right. Thanks to all your intensive training I can finally take him on."

Rogue stopped and looked back at the guild behind us. "Natsu is not himself. There is something controlling him."

I gave the guild a quick glare. "I could care less what's wrong with him. I'm not helping him."

"Aw, blondie? When did you become so merciless?"

"The day that bastard said he was using me." I scowled at Sting.

"You really do look like Laxus's sister." Sting said suddenly. "Looks like you got your father's nose though."

"I do not! I look almost exactly like Mum! I'm just younger!"

Sting laughed at my pout and kept walking. "Let's go. We have a key to save."

We boarded the next train for Oshibana and sat in the luxury compartment because Sabertooth shows no weakness, including motion sickness. I had Rogue in my lap and was idly running my fingers through the unconscious dragon slayer's hair. I was thinking back to what Rogue said to Natsu in his defense of me. "Lucy is a beautiful young woman that could easily take your ego down a couple pegs." I felt that blush coming back as we pulled into the station of Oshibana. We'd have to hike though the rocky terrain to the North East of the city to reach Dad's guild. I stared at Rogue in my lap and begrudgingly woke him up. I hated to wake Rogue up. He always looked so relaxed and peaceful. I gently shook Rogue and called his name.

I watched Rogue stir slightly and sit up as his ruby red eyes fluttered open and locked onto my own brown orbs. "Lucy, are we there yet?" His voice was deep and slightly husky due to the fact that he just woke up, but that did nothing to stop the blush that made its way up to my cheeks.

"Yeah, we're here. I'm gonna go wake up Sting. I think he passed out in the bathroom again. Can you get our stuff ready?"

He nodded as I turned to leave the compartment, but Rogue caught my wrist and turned me back towards him. I stumbled and found myself face to face with him. It took me only seconds to realize how close we actually were, but I just couldn't find the will to put some distance between us. Our eyes were locked and both of were still. I was also very aware of the placement of Rogues hands on my hips as he seemed to lean in closer. I felt my breathing hitch at the thoughts that were rushing through my head. That's when I felt his lips by my ear.

"Lucy, please be careful." He pulled my into his toned form and held me tight.

I nodded as my mind reeled at those four little words. "Okay," I blushed.

Suddenly he pulled away from me as Sting stumbled into the compartment, still recovering from his motion sickness. "Alright. You two are up, good. Let's get off this damn abomination and get that damn key."

I giggled at him and got my bag. I threw it over my shoulder and followed Sting off the train as Rogue followed, every once in awhile making our hands brushed together

Long awaited, sorry 'bout that! So what did you guys think of the little RoLu action there? I have to say this though; I don't really ship RoLu as much as I do ship LaLu, GaLu and StiCy. So please bear with me if its bad.

Thanks for reading!
