Sally
"A-Amy… what a-are you doing here?" I asked, willing myself to stop crying.
"It's the girl's rest rooms" Amy said pointedly, if I wasn't wasting all my energy crying I would have slapped her!
"I know that!" I shouted, or at least tried to, my throat was so sore.
Amy then sighed and her facial expression changed to a sympathetic one "What's wrong princess?"
I wanted to shout that it was none of her business, but before I could a girl walked in, "could you please use the other rest rooms on the other side of the ballroom?" I asked, trying hard not to raise my voice.
"Yes of course Princess Sally, I'm sorry for disturbing you" she said quickly and walked out.
"You." I said quietly.
"M-me? What have I done?" She looked worried.
"What have you done? As if you didn't know!" I shouted, despite my sore throat.
"No I really don't know! Please what have I done that's caused you to cry?"
Amy
I pleaded Sally for an answer to what I had done, but she just shook her head at me, tears still streaming down her cheeks. I put my hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her, but she pushed my hand away violently.
"Don't touch me!" She shrieked "You're the one doing this to me! You're the one who everyone wants and likes! You're the one who has the attention I would die for! You're the one who's always been pretty and nice! And no matter what I do, no matter what I say, I'm always going to be second best! That's what you've done Amy!"
I was frozen; I didn't know what I could say to that… "S-so your crying because you think I-I'm better than y-you?" I asked cautiously, hoping she wouldn't shout again. She did…
"Yes! Don't you understand Amy! Everyone wants you! You're perfect! In everyway you're perfect! You're perfect, while I'm just the silly little princess who would be better off being a whore!" She then broke down in sobs and feel to her knees.
So that was why she's hated me for all those years? She thinks I'm better than her… and so does everyone else… oh Sally…
"Sally that's not true. You're a princess, a beautiful princess and just because you think someone's better than you, doesn't mean that you're not good at all!" I knelt to the ground and rubbed her back. I'm surprised no one has come in.

'Where on earth has Amy gotten too?' I thought to my self as my brother went on about some random rubbish.
I looked around the room trying to find her, but she was no where, something must have been going on. Everyone has been acting differently lately and I have no idea why, it's almost as if they know something I don't…
Still not being able to find Amy I began to worry, I looked around the room again, to see if any other guests or servants had left… none- Wait! Where's Sally!? I scanned around the room again… no where!
"Excuse me brother!" I quickly strode away, and went to Kate, who was standing quietly, drinking.
"Where's Sally?" I asked, all manners forgotten, if she had anything to do with Amy being missing, I swear-
"I believe she went to the rest rooms" Kate replied, unfazed by my rudeness.
Without another word, I walked to the rest rooms. Something must be going on!
I was about to knock on the door and demand Sally to let me in, when I heard sobbing. I put my ear to the door and listened.
Normal
"Do you really mean that Amy?" Sally asked, surprised by her kind words.
"Yes Sally I do. I'm sorry you've felt that way for so long. But you have to understand that I can't help it, to tell you the truth I don't even want the attention!"
"Why not? Everyone loves you Amy!" Sally shrieked, confused.
"Some love me for all the wrong reasons. Your father only gives me the attention because he uses me. He puts me through so much pain, that I wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy. And yes Sally you're right, some do love me because I am kind, but that's because I love them back. I treat people the way I would want to be treated" Amy explained calmly.
Sally was gob smacked; it took her a long time until she finally said "I- I… I'm sorry! I didn't realise how much pain he put you through or how you really felt. And you're right Amy! No wonder people love you!"
Sally now understood how hard it must be for Amy!
"Amy, I want to help you. Too make it up to you, is there anything I can do?"
