"Thank you for apologizing Sally, I know that must have been difficult for you. And yes, there is something you can do to help me." Amy smiled, and helped Sally to her feet.

"Really, what? I'll do anything!" Sally exclaimed, while getting up, with help from Amy.

"Start treating people how you would want to be treated."

Sally just looked at Amy in surprise, but soon she began to smile. Before Amy to react or say anything, Sally jumped on her, swinging her arms around Amy's fragile body and squeezed.

"Thank you" Sally whispered. Amy then returned Sally's hug.

"It's ok Sally, your welcome" Amy tightened her grip around Sally, before pulling away. "Come on, your missing your own ball!"

"Oh Amy, I look like a mess, come with me, so I can redo my makeup!" Sally said, tugging on Amy's arm, but Amy pulled her arm back.

"I can't, I have to stay here it's almost time!" Amy didn't realise what she said, until she gasped and put her hand over her mouth, hoping that some how she could force the words back in.

But it was too late, Sally had already heard. "W-what are you talking about?" Sally asked, startled at Amy's sudden out burst.

"Promise not to tell! Please Sally I beg you!" Amy pleaded, hoping Sally would agree.

She did "Alright Amy, I promise, just calm down!" She said soothingly.

Amy began to tell Sally what was being planned and that she was needed in the ballroom for the plan to work. Sally listened closely, not interrupting Amy once.

When Amy had finished Sally spoke "I won't tell anyone. Is there anything I can do to help?"

Amy was a little surprised at Sally's willingness to help, but answered "I don't think you can do anything, just wish me luck" Amy smiled.

"Alright Amy, good luck, I wish you the best!" Sally agreed before pulling Amy in for another hug. "But before you go, you better help me get this makeup to stop running down my cheeks!" Sally joked.

Amy smiled and agreed.

Neither of the girls knew that the King had been right outside the door, and listening intensely throughout the entire conversation.

"Lets see how that plan will work out, shall we?" King Acorn said to himself, before reaching into his jacket pocket, where a small dagger lay, exactly where he put it.

He then walked back to his throne.

'It's nearly time for this plan to be brought to life' thought Sonic, with a smirk 'the King won't know what hit him'. Sally then walked towards him, with a small, shy smile on her face. 'Oh great!' he thought sarcastically.

"Sonic, would you like to dance, I need to speak with you about something important." She said.

Sonic knew that even if it wasn't important, that he would have to agree anyway. "I would love to" Sonic hissed.

Sally looked hurt for a second, but then realised that Sonic had every right to treat her this way. Sonic took Sally's hand a lead her to the dance floor.

As they were dancing Sally checked to make sure no one was listening in before speaking "I know your plan" she said "Amy told me, in the restrooms, and I just wanted to say, good luck." She then dropped her hand from Sonic's and walked away.

Sonic stood, shocked for a moment, but he shook it off; the plan was about to be put into action.
