Normal
The sound of a glass being chimed by a fork brought everyone to silence. When seeing that the King had everyone's attention he stopped and put down the fork. Raising his glass he said "I am please that you could all join me tonight. As you all know this ball if for my daughter, Sally. But I have been keeping a secret from all of you, this is not just a little get together, like it is every year; this year you are celebrating, celebrating my daughter's new engagement, to Sonic the hedgehog!" The King put on a fake smile as he looked upon Sonic's shocked expression, while pointing to him, so everyone around could see who he was.
Amy
I looked King Acorn in pure horror, this wasn't meant to happen, Sonic hadn't even 'proposed' yet! He was supposed to ask her to marry him in two minutes; to put all the attention on them, while someone put out the lights and I escaped! But how can I? Sonic 'proposing' to Sally was meant to be the signal for the lights! This is all going wrong!
Sonic
What?! I didn't ask Sally to marry me, not yet at least! What did Sally do?! Ugh, I'll kill her!
Sally
W-what? Sonic and I aren't engaged! This isn't what Amy said would happen! I looked at my father; he was smiling; to hide his smirk! He knows!
I looked at Amy, and her face confirmed that this wasn't meant to happen!
I went to Sonic, smiled and took his arm, resting my head on his shoulder.
Sonic
Sally rested her head on my shoulder, I wanted to push her away until she whispered "Act natural, if anyone asks I've gone to the restrooms, as soon as the lights go down, you know what to do" Sally then kissed my cheek, and walked away.
I wondered what she had meant, but I got bombarded with questions!
Amy
'She planned this' I thought; I tried to keep myself from crying. I watched her kiss his cheek and walk away somewhere! I should never have trusted her!
Sally
I only have a little time! Quick as I could, I turned away from the direction of the restrooms and past the main hall's double doors. I knew what I was doing.
King Acorn
I watched my daughter go through the main doors, just as I had predicted, it would be a matter of seconds before the lights went out. "Amy" she looked up "come here" I told her, I saw her gulp, then nod, moving closer.
As soon as she was near I grabbed her wrist and said nothing, she didn't dare question me. Then soon after the lights went out and the sound of startled screams filled the room, my grip tightened around her wrist, and I felt her wince in pain.
Sonic
Now I know what Sally was up to! She was carrying out our plan! As quick as I could, I put on these special glasses Tails had made. It was amazing I could now see! Tails was such a genius! I then searched for the rest of the guards involved!
Cream
This is it! As soon as the lights went out I made my way to outside, to wait by the carriage, while Rouge and Maria got Amy.
When I was out I spotted my mother, Queen and King Cat, princess Blaze and Cosmo. Good, we're all here! Now we just need to wait for Rouge and Maria to get Amy, then we'll be gone!
Rouge
I met Maria by the food table. These glasses are amazing, I can see everything! I nodded to her, and we made our way to the throne, where the king was! Or at lease meant to be! What the hell! He was here when the lights went out!
King Acorn
I tugged Amy further into the maze, in the court yard. She was struggling, and trying to pull back her arm; I kept a tight grip.
"You thought you could out smart me, did you?" I sneered "Thought you could turn my own daughter against me, huh?!"
"I hate you!" She screamed, trying to hit me, but her punches were weak. "How can you do this to me? How can you treat your own daughter like she is nothing? You're pure evil! I hope you burn in hell!" She shrieked.
I stayed calm and replied "As long as I get to drag you to hell with me, I truly do not care" I then stopped, and pulled her to me, her back against my chest.
She shouted "get off of me!" through her tears, and struggled to break free. But her petite body failed her, she was helpless against me. I chuckled darkly.
Sonic
All the guards (on our side or not) told everyone to go home, and escorted each and every one of the guests to their carriages (including me).
Suddenly Maria came running towards me. Before I could ask her where Amy was, she breathed out "The King is outside, in the middle of the maze, Rouge told me, she's trying to get Amy, but we need help!" Without even saying anything to Maria I took off.
Rouge
I swooped again, trying to grab Amy's outstretched hand, but again it was useless. The king held out a dagger and trying to cut me with it, so I had to dodge out of the way, therefore missing Amy's hand.
I was about to try again, but I saw Sonic, and went to him.
"Where are they?!" he demanded. Fear, hatred and passion in his wild emerald eyes.
"I'll take you to them" but as soon as I said that, a crack of thunder sounded and it started raining soon after. "Oh no" I sighed, nearly crying as I heard Amy scream in pain. Seeing Sonic's confused face, after wincing at Amy's scream, I said "I can't fly in the rain."
"Go get me a sword from inside, I'm going to find them!"
I saw that he was going to run, so I grabbed his arm "Don't run" I told him "You'll just get confused and won't know where to go, you have to walk." He looked angry, but he agreed, wincing at another one of Amy's screams; he dropped the glasses that let you see in the dark from his face and walked into the entrance of the maze.
I ran as fast as I could into the castle to search for a sword.
Maria
Sonic just ran off, leaving me to deal with the guests, so I put on a brave smile, and escorted an elder couple to their carriage. I hope Amy is alright.
Sally
I said sorry for the inconvenience to another family and wished them goodnight. Amy should have been out by now. My father should be dead by now! Somehow I don't cry at the thought of my father being murdered by Sonic or Shadow. I truly don't care! Why should I? He's never cared for me!
