Chapter 8: Dark Synchro! Come, Hundred Eyes Dragon!

Kiryu's Infernity Archfiend is bearing down on Yusei with a big glowing claw from the heavens. The former's life points stand at 4000.

Yusei's at 3300.

"Yusei!" Jack says.

A camera shot of the big glowing claw appears on Crow's D-Wheel screen, giving him a closer look. "Yusei!" Says Crow.

"I reveal my trap card 'Scrap-Iron Scarecrow'! It negates the attack of one of your monsters!" Yusei says.

'Scrap-Iron Scarecrow' blocks the attack.

"Huh." Says Kiryu.

"After activation, the card is set again instead of going to the graveyard." Yusei says.

Jack and Sakura are watching the holographic screen in the helicopter.

"Yusei…" Says Crow. He looks up from his screen and out toward the duel.

Kiryu and Yusei race onward.

The former glances over his shoulder.

Yusei's gaining on him.

"Hmph! I set one card and end my turn. You refuse to die. You're willing to do whatever it takes to stay alive. You never change, Yusei." Kiryu says.

"You're wrong, Kiryu. Back then, I…" Says Yusei.

"It's your turn." Kiryu says.

"My turn!" Says Yusei. He draws, it's Junk Synchron. "I summon Junk Synchron!" Yusei says.

Junk Synchron has 1300 attack points and is a Level 3 monster.

"I can now Special Summon one Level Two-or-below monster from my graveyard on to my field in face up defense position! Appear, Speed Warrior!" Says Yusei.

Speed Warrior has 400 defense points and is a Level 2 monster.

"Level Three Junk Synchron tunes Level Two Speed Warrior! The stars come together to call forth a new power! Become the path that lights the way! Synchro Summon! Come forth, Junk Warrior!" Yusei says.

Junk Warrior has 2300 attack points and is a Level 5 monster.

"Keep acting tough." Says Kiryu.

"I activate the trap 'Shard of Hope' that's on my field. With this 'Continuous Trap', when my monster deals you battle damage, I draw one card from my deck. If it's a trap card, I can activate it from my hand." Yusei says.

"Heh. That's only if you manage to deal me battle damage." Says Kiryu.

"His Continuous Trap is 'Depth Amulet'. By sending one card in his hand to the graveyard, he can negate the attack of my monster. However, he has two cards in his hand. He also has two monsters on his field. He has plenty of options to keep the cards in his hand." Yusei thinks to himself.

Kiryu's hand contains two cards. He smirks over his shoulder, as though aware of Yusei's thoughts.

"Junk Warrior attacks Infernity Beast! Scrap Fist!" Yusei says.

Kiryu looks up and reaches for his hand, slowly.

Yusei gasps.

"I send one card in my hand to the graveyard to activate 'Depth Amulet's effect! The battle is negated!" Says Kiryu.

Junk Warrior bounces off.

Kiryu laughs.

"He lessened the number of cards in his hand in order to protect his monster." Yusei says.

"Thanks for the concern." Says Kiryu.

"I end my turn!" Yusei says.

"Hmm! My turn!" Says Kiryu. He draws. "I release Infernity Beast and Infernity Archfiend to Advance Summon Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand!" Kiryu says.

Nightmare Hand has 0 attack points and is a Level 10 monster.

"It can't be! He summoned a Dark Tuner. That means…" Says Yusei.

"When Nightmare Hand is successfully summoned, I can Special Summon a Level Two-or-below monster from my hand!" Kiryu says.

"What?" Asks Yusei.

"I Special Summon Infernity Dwarf!" Kiryu says.

Infernity Dwarf has 800 attack points and is a Level 2 monster.

"Level Ten Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand dark tunes Level Two Infernity Dwarf!" Says Kiryu.

"Just as I feared!" Yusei says.

Nightmare Hand spreads its arms and purple darkness spreads from it as it reduces to glowing contours. Several stars emerge from it, the Dwarf recoils, in fear, and is then engulfed in the shadows. The stars surround the poor Dwarf and embed themselves in his chest. He is reduced to outlines, eyes wide and pained. A few of the stars disappear and the Dwarf starts glowing.

"When absolute darkness descends, the eyes of the afterlife open!" Says Kiryu.

The dwarf dissolves into several dark stars, blue lightning sparking between them.

"Shadows, descend! Dark Synchro! Hehehahahaha!" Kiryu says.

"What's coming?" Asks Yusei.

The design still burns on the landscape of the Satellite.

"Come, Hundred Eyes Dragon!" Kiryu says.

It has eyes all over its body, including one massive one in the center of his chest. Hundred Eyes Dragon has 3000 attack points and is a Level -8 monster.

"Level negative Eight. Three thousand attack points. Kiryu, so this is your ace monster." Says Yusei.

In the helicopter. Carly points at the screen, tentatively. "Uhh, Jack, look at that monster!" Carly says. "Dark Synchro." Says Jack.

"What's that monster? Kiryu never had that in his deck before." Crow says.

"Heh. Hundred Eyes Dragon attacks Junk Warrior!" Says Kiryu.

"Yusei!" Crow says.

"I open my trap card! 'Scrap-Iron Scarecrow'!" Says Yusei.

"Hundred Eyes Dragon's monster effect activates! When this card is face up, it gains the effects of Dark Attribute monsters in my graveyard!" Kiryu says.

"What?" Asks Yusei.

"It gains Infernity Beast's monster effect from my graveyard! If I attack when I have zero cards in my hand, you can't activate spell or trap cards!" Kiryu says.

"Zero cards in his hand! That's what he was aiming for!" Says Yusei.

'Scrap-Iron Scarecrow' disappears.

"Go, Hundred Eyes Dragon! Infinity Sight Stream!" Kiryu says.

Junk Warrior is engulfed in the blast and there's still plenty left for Yusei.

When the blast clears, his D-Wheel is doing crazy near-horizontal donuts backward. Yusei's life points now stand at 2600.

"Hehehahahahaha! Crash into the flames, Yusei!" Says Kiryu.

Yusei keeps donuting into the wall, wheelies and regains his direction, for a moment, purple fire spills from his wheels.

"That's the spirit, Yusei! I won't let you surrender yet! I'll make you taste even more deadly pain!" Kiryu says.

"Kiryu…" Says Yusei.

Kiryu pauses, then looks away. "I end my turn." Kiryu says.

"My turn! I summon Rockstone Warrior in defense position!" Says Yusei.

Rockstone Warrior has 1600 defense points and is a Level 4 monster.

"You're going to stall using defense monsters." Kiryu says.

"I set one card and end my turn." Says Yusei.

"After 'Depth Amulet' is activated, it's destroyed during the End Phase of the opponent's third turn." Kiryu says.

"By sending cards in his hand to the graveyard, he was able to use that trap to negate battles. However, he no longer needs it because his strategy doesn't require having cards in his hand." Yusei thinks to himself.

Kiryu glances back, again aware of his scrutiny.

"The strategy he was using…" Yusei thinks to himself.

Flashback. Yusei remembers the brash, confident leader of Team Satisfaction as he faced off against his counterpart in the Magicians Four gang, Archfiend General against Dark Eradicator Warlock. "Kiryu, it's completely different than before." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over. The flashback ends.

Back to the present. "In fact, everything about you is different." Says Yusei.

"Huh! Thanks to you." Kiryu says.

"Why? Why do we have to fight? Kiryu…" Says Yusei.

"Pfft." Kiryu says. He turns away.

Flashback. Kiryu's head changes to that of the Team Satisfaction Kiryu, with the knot of his headband in back. He's standing in the street somewhere in the Satellite. Jack's on his left, Yusei and Crow on his right. "Let's get our satisfaction! Ha!" Says Kiryu. He starts running down the street and the other three follow, they're ready for action.

The four members of Team Satisfaction tackle several different gangs. The first one all wear baseball uniforms and Yusei's opponent is still wearing his catcher pads, looks like they're battling it out on a baseball field or vacant lot somewhere.

The second one all wear martial-arts-gi-like robes of rust-red, with white jackets over them, they face the four across a beautiful forest glade.

The third group is less uniform, Team Satisfaction's grappling chains crisscross the warehouse, in which they battle these guys.

In the flashback, Kiryu keeps taunting their opponents, each time with a different monster at his back… "I don't need to use cheap tricks! With our overwhelming power and courage, we'll keep pushing to the end!" Kiryu says.

In the flashback, Yusei, Crow and Jack are standing around outside somewhere. They shrug, laugh and smile.

Kiryu's map of the Satellite, apparently adapted from an old map of the entire city, with the mainland part faded out, had each district of the Satellite scribbled out or marked with a letter. More and more get scribbled out. Finally there remains only one, a large district in the middle marked with a letter M.

The four members of Team Satisfaction stand on top of a pile of trash, triumphantly, hair blowing in the breeze, Satellite's heroes.

The four stand around the map on the ground, with three single patches of territory left unscribbled. Kiryu looks down at the map, then back up at his friends. "These are the final three area's. When we're done, Team Satisfaction will have united Satellite." Says Kiryu. The other three nod.

It's late in the night and Team Satisfaction walk into an abandoned building. It looks empty and deserted, but looks can be deceiving. "Hello, anyone home?" Crow asks.

"Yes, I'm here." A female voice replies. She has a slightly pale complexion, red eyes, with slightly slanted pupils, and long, wavy hair, that is raven black and gradates into a purple and blue ombre as it reaches just past her shoulders, with the whole thing being partially transparent, having a natural rippling motion, even though she herself is not moving, and is sparkling, making it very reminiscent to a night sky, transitioning into a galaxy nebula, which is partially done up into twin tails by black-trimmed, blue hairpieces that resemble bat wings, which have blue jewels dangling from the three points of them, while the rest of her hair flows loose down the back, falling to the classic length, and a long, loosely flowing strand of hair rests on her right shoulder, falling to her mid-back. She has a silver sun on her forehead and a red, diamond-shaped gem embedded in the center of it. She also has what appear to be thick, black, bull-like horns at either temple, which protrude crookedly towards the center of her forehead, making them appear reminiscently to a crown on her head, she wears purple-blue eye shadow in the cat eye style, and she has pointed elf-like ears. Her sailor fuku consists of a long-sleeved, velvet-red leotard, which has a thick, wide black line in the center of it in the front, with a velvet-red skirt, which has a thick, wide black line in the center of it in the front, and is attached to the leotard by a silver, v-shaped border at her waist, with a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped jewel at the center, with two jewels at either side of it, navy blue and sea-green on the right side of it, garnet red and white on the left side of it, a midnight blue chest bow, with a red, star-shaped brooch, that has a pair of translucent blue wings on either side of it, in the center of it, and a dark violet waist bow, that's attached to the back of her skirt. Along with her waist-back bow, she also has two very long, thin, midnight blue ribbons trailing down from the bow, and on her waist appear to be a pair of black angel wings. Her sailor collar is velvet-red, with two midnight blue stripes on it. Her opera-length gloves are black, with silver, v-shaped trim around her wrists, which surround a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped gem, and silver trim at the tops of them, which surround a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped gem, and her thigh-high, high-heeled boots are black, with silver, v-shaped edging at the tops of them, which surround a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped gem. She also wears silver earrings with blue jewels dangling from them and a silver, v-shaped choker, with a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped jewel at its center. She also has a chain-whip, made out of red, diamond-shaped jewels, which is wound around her waist. She is 5'4" and the same age as Yusei, fifteen. She also has a large, long-haired, black dog with her, who looks very reminiscent to Grim, but this ones appearance is that of a shadow dog, with burning red eyes.

"Who might you be?" Asks Jack.

"I am the leader of the Outer Sailor Guardians. Protected by both the Galaxy and the Sun. I am the Guardian of Judgment, Sailor Galaxy."

"Well then, I guess its time to duel." Kiryu says.

Hidden in the shadows, another girl in a sailor fuku sneaks up behind Jack. She has a hand mirror in both hands. "Submarine Reflection!" And the power of her hand mirror ends up hitting Jack. He turns to face her, seeing the beauty of her as she steps out of the shadows.

She has a fair complexion, with deep blue eyes and wavy, chin-length, teal hair. Her sailor fuku consists of a white leotard, with a sea-green skirt, attached to the leotard by a puffy, v-shaped, white border at the waist, a navy blue chest bow, with a heart-shaped, sea-green brooch in the center of it, and a navy blue waist bow, that's attached to the back of her skirt. Her sailor collar is sea-green, with a single white stripe on it, and her shoulder pads have three layers, with the last pad being more wing-like and translucent. Her wrist-length gloves are white, with three sea-green wrist fittings, and her laced up, loose heeled shoes are sea-green. Her accessories consist of a gold tiara, with a sea-green gem in the center, her earrings are white studs, with some kind of planetary object surrounded by a ring dangling from them, and a sea-green choker, with a yellow star in the center of it. She is the same height as Sailor Galaxy, 5'4", and she is the same age as Crow, fourteen.

"Well, well. Who are you, little sea beauty?" Asks Jack.

"Protected by Neptune, the Outer Planet of the Seas. Guardian of the Deep Sea, I am Sailor Neptune."

"The deep sea, huh? Well, lets just see how much you can submerge me into the watery depths." Jack says.

Meanwhile, Kiryu's got his own problems to worry about. Because behind him, someone else is hidden in shadow. She also has a sailor fuku. She holds a sword in both hands. "Space Sword Blaster!" The attack hits Kiryu, directly.

He turns to face her, as she walks out of the shadows.

She has a fair complexion, with short, pale blonde hair and dark blue eyes. She is 5'11" and the same age as Sailor Neptune and Crow, fourteen. Her sailor fuku consists of a white leotard, with a navy blue skirt, attached to the leotard by a puffy, v-shaped, white border at the waist, a yellow chest bow, with a heart-shaped, navy blue brooch in the center of it, and a navy blue waist bow, attached to the back of her skirt. Her sailor collar is navy blue, with a single white stripe on it, and her shoulder pads have three layers, with the last pad being more wing-like and translucent. Her wrist-length gloves are white, with three navy blue wrist fittings, and her mid-shin, high-heeled boots are navy blue. Her accessories consist of a gold tiara, with a navy blue gem in the center, her earrings are gold hoops, and a navy blue choker, with a yellow star in the center of it.

"Well then, who might you be?" Asks Kiryu.

"Protected by Uranus, the Outer Planet of the Wind. Guardian of the Heavens, I am Sailor Uranus."

"Well, that sure shows with you." Kiryu says.

Meanwhile, Yusei's got problems of his own, too. Another sailor suited girl, is hidden in shadow, sneaking up behind Yusei, with her staff in hand. "Dead Scream!" The attack hits Yusei from behind.

He falls forward and then turns his body over to his side, seeing her now out of the shadows.

She has a slightly dark complexion, with long, dark green hair, which is partially tied up in a high bun, while the rest of her hair is loose down the back, falling to her tailbone, and dark red eyes. She is 5'10' and seventeen. Her sailor fuku consists of a white leotard, with a black skirt, attached to the leotard by a puffy, v-shaped, white border at the waist, a maroon chest bow, with a heart-shaped, bright red brooch in the center of it, and a maroon waist bow, attached to the back of her skirt. Her sailor collar is black, with a single white stripe on it, and her shoulder pads have three layers, with the last pad being more wing-like and translucent. Her elbow-length gloves are white, with three black elbow fittings, and her knee-high, heeled boots are black, with white edging at the triangular top. Her accessories consist of a gold tiara, with a garnet red gem in the center, her earrings are red, thick and arrow-shaped, and a black choker, with a yellow star in the center of it.

"So, what do they call you then?" Asks Yusei.

"I am the Keeper of the Door of Space and Time. I am Sailor Pluto. Guardian of the Underworld."

"That actually suits you." Yusei says.

The guys soon all rise up, but Crow, who was the only one spared, manages to get up to where Sailor Galaxy and her shadow dog are standing. He runs at her, until she uses her own attack.

"Dark Twilight Celestial Kiss!" Says Sailor Galaxy.

Her power grabs Crow and throws him into a piece of board.

It hurts him, making him wince a bit, but he gets right back up.

Sailor Galaxy does her attack again. "Dark Twilight Celestial Kiss!" Sailor Galaxy says.

Only this time, her power grabs Crow from underneath and throws him into a piece of wood that holds up half the place.

The wood breaks, burying him underneath.

Sailor Galaxy actually flies over, meaning her wings aren't just for decoration, to the pile of wood that had fallen on Crow. She just keeps moving the pieces until she finds Crow, lying there almost motionless. He then stops playing possum and manages to cut Sailor Galaxy in the wrist, with either a piece of glass or a piece of sharp wood. A big hole suddenly forms underneath Crow making him fall through it, until someone catches him before he continues to fall.

He looks up, seeing it's Sailor Galaxy that caught him in time. "Who are you?" Asks Crow, muttering to himself.

Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto suddenly fade away and vanish, as if they were never really there.

"Well, talk about a magic act." Jack says. "Come on, let's go up and help Crow." Says Yusei. "Right." Kiryu says. They begin running in the direction Crow went.

Meanwhile, he's starting to slip out of Sailor Galaxy's hold because both of them are wearing gloves. She is then able to pull Crow up to safety.

Sailor Galaxy starts walking away from him, until he manages to grab a hold of her ankle and she glances down at him. "Who are you? Answer me." Says Crow. "You already know me, Crow." Sailor Galaxy says. "What?" Asks Crow. Sailor Galaxy is then able to get her ankle out of his grip and continues walking away from him, with her shadow dog following right alongside her.

Kiryu, Yusei and Jack finally get up there. Jack hunches over Crow, Yusei kneels down next to him and Kiryu stands over him. "Crow, are you okay?" Yusei asks. "Yeah, I'm fine." Says Crow. Kiryu then glares right at Sailor Galaxy and charges at her.

She suddenly stops walking, turns to face him and blocks his punch or whatever he was trying to do. Sailor Galaxy's wrist that got cut, starts to bleed and hurt her more. "You almost killed him!" Kiryu says. "In case you haven't noticed, I saved him from falling!" Says Sailor Galaxy.

"Kiryu, stop!" Jack says. He and Yusei run over to them to try and stop Kiryu from doing something that he would regret.

Yusei grabs him around the ribs and pulls him away from Sailor Galaxy.

Jack then grabs her around the waist, trying to be respectful towards her being a girl and being mindful of her wings.

Crow runs over to join them and looks into Sailor Galaxy's eyes, trying to figure out who exactly she is. He then figures it out in an instant.

Kiryu suddenly manages to break free of Yusei's grip and starts running towards Sailor Galaxy.

The shadow dog starts growling and lunges at him, biting him on the forearm and not letting go, causing him to scream out, in pain.

Sailor Galaxy then gets herself out of Jack's hold in order to fight Kiryu, getting the shadow dog to release him in the meantime.

Crow tries to get them to stop, getting halfway between them.

Sailor Galaxy suddenly lets her guard down and Kiryu takes that opportunity, grabbing her by the arm, roughly. "Kiryu, let go of her!" Says Crow. Sailor Galaxy manages to get her arm out of Kiryu's grip and pushes him away from her, near a ledge.

He manages to catch his balance, but he is far from done with her and charges at her.

Sailor Galaxy then takes her whip and whacks Kiryu with it, straight across his chest.

"You'll pay for doing that!" Kiryu says.

Sailor Galaxy puts her whip back where it originally was. The shadow dog starts snarling at Kiryu, as he steps in front of her. "Kiryu, why are you doin' this?" Asks Crow.

"She hurt you, Crow!" Kiryu says.

"She also helped me and stopped me from falling." Says Crow.

"She would've let you fall." Kiryu says.

"Jack, Yusei, you guys believe me, don't ya?" Asks Crow.

Jack and Yusei exchange glances. "Of course we do, Crow." Yusei says.

"Well, it doesn't matter what any of you think! 'Cause I'm finishing this and I'll be ending it!" Says Kiryu.

"You can surely try, Kyosuke. However, you shall fail!" Sailor Galaxy says.

"We'll see about that!" Says Kiryu.

"You can't beat me, little boy!" Sailor Galaxy says.

"That's it!" Says Kiryu. He starts running towards Sailor Galaxy, so she moves the shadow dog out of her way and charges at him.

She manages to get her arms around Kiryu's waist and pushes him towards the ledge, but he punches her near the waist. Sailor Galaxy then knees him in the side of his head and he almost falls over the ledge. The shadow dog runs straight for Kiryu and lunges at him, biting down on his arm, not letting go. Sailor Galaxy then risks herself and all three of them go falling over the ledge, to the ground, hard, but she and the shadow dog land away from him.

Yusei, Jack and Crow can't see them from up there, so they head down to where they are.

Yusei and Crow manage to find Kiryu, with very little injuries.

Jack on the other hand, manages to find Sailor Galaxy. He's shocked to see that she is standing. Sailor Galaxy is using the shadow dog for support and almost falls, but Jack catches her in time. "You okay?" Jack asks. Sailor Galaxy just looks into his purple eyes. "I'm fine, just make sure Crow is alright." Says Sailor Galaxy. She then pushes herself off of Jack's chest and disappears into the night, taking the shadow dog with her.

The flashback changes. Kiryu and Crow approach a darkened alleyway. "Kiryu, are you sure about going after the Raven Tribe? Rumors are that they're supposed to be really tough." Crow says. "The Raven Tribe is just another duel gang. We're close to completing our goal of conquering Satellite." Says Kiryu. Crow's suddenly hit in the back of the head with a pipe or bat from behind, which knocks him to the ground, unconscious.

Kiryu turns back, eyes wide. "Crow!" Kiryu says. Before he can retaliate against Crow's attacker, he's suddenly lunged at by Grim, who doesn't look at all different from how he does now, except for his long, dark fur being rather messy, and lands on his back, forcing him to the ground.

Kiryu drops his duel disk, which lands at some guy's feet.

He gasps, regaining his breath and struggles to get up, as Grim presses his two front paws against his back. He gets off him as the two guys approach them. Kiryu looks up at the two guys standing in front of him, both carrying a duel disk, and one of them having a bat slung over his shoulder, he's the one who attacked Crow. "I'll make you both pay for this! Mark my words, Team Satisfaction will conquer this territory and all of Satellite!" Says Kiryu. The two guys have smirks on their faces and look back over their shoulders. "What do you think?"

They both step aside, as Sakura approaches to take a position between the two guys and directly above Kiryu. She is dressed in the old attire that she used to wear back when she lived in the Satellite. Her long, wavy, raven black, red gradated hair, is partially tied up into twin tails by black ribbons, while the rest of her hair flows loose down the back, falling to the classic length, save for the long, loosely flowing strand that rests on her right shoulder, falling to her mid-back. She has no marking under her left eye and face, and she is the same age as Yusei, fifteen at this time. "I think... we just took Team Satisfaction by its head." Sakura says. Kiryu's face turns to one of concern as he looks up at her, who stomps on his face, causing him to lose consciousness and the scene to fade to black.

Sometime later. "Crow, get up!" Says Yusei. As Crow slowly starts to come to, he's being nudged awake by him. Jack's standing above them, looking on. Crow stirs for a bit. "Crow!" Yusei says. He and Jack help Crow up to his feet, who holds at his head. "You okay?" Asks Jack. "No, I'm angry." Crow says. "What happened? Where's Kiryu?" Asks Yusei. "Me and Kiryu were trying to scout out the territory. I was hit from behind right away. I don't know what happened to Kiryu. But right now, we're in the Raven Tribe's territory. They might just know something about it." Crow says. "Well, I guess we need to beat up some lackeys and find this camp." Says Jack. "Let's get going." Yusei says. They soon head off.

At night, Kiryu wakes up to find himself trapped in a cage and his wrists bound by ropes. He looks around and notices the guys from earlier that took him.

One of them is drinking and looking through his duel cards, while the other notices Kiryu waking up. He chuckles. "Well, well, well, look who's awake."

"Wha... what's going on? Where am I?" Asks Kiryu.

"You know..." A girl emerges from her tent. She has a fair complexion, with short, pale blonde hair and dark blue eyes. She is wearing a light yellow vest, with white panels on the top and a white buckled strap on the back, over a torn green shirt that is partially unbuttoned, revealing what appears to be a black bra, alongside a collar that appears to be slightly turned up behind her neck. Her lower body consists of white jeans, with the right side rolled up to her thigh, and a yellow belt, with a yellow deckbox to the right side. She also has brown calf guards, with one having a garter-styled strap that goes under her rolled-up pant leg. She also wears a pair of brown, lace-up boots, with folded over sides, accompanied by a pair of white socks that partially cover her calf guards, and brown gloves of different sizes, with the right being fingerless and wrist-length, with a large cuff, whilst the other is elbow-length and covered with a brown vambrace. Lastly, she wears a narrow brown choker. She is 5'11" and the same age as Crow, fourteen. "I never thought I would see you in this camp."

"Haruka?" The two guys suddenly stand at attention.

Haruka walks over to Kiryu's cage, holding his duel disk in her hands.

He stands up, while his captor traces his duel disk with her fingers. Kiryu's glaring at Haruka. "What do you want?" Kiryu asks.

"Straight to the point. I like it. We don't normally deal in taking people from rival duel gangs hostage, not really worth our time. But, once we realized we had you, the leader of Team Satisfaction, that changed." Says Haruka.

"You're going to try and use me as a bargaining chip against my team, is that it?" Kiryu asks.

"It's a shame you're you. You would probably do quite well around here." Says Haruka.

"I would never sink to your level." Kiryu says.

Haruka's expression then changes to a frown. "Just shut up and cooperate and you'll be back with your team before you know it." Says Haruka. She starts walking away from Kiryu's cage. "Don't make this complicated." Haruka says.

"What's going to make this complicated is when my teammate, that you guys left behind, goes back to our hideout without me and informs our other teammates about the assault. You know my teammates, don't you? Crow? Jack? Yusei? Crow's probably back at our hideout now, and when he tells Yusei and Jack that I'm missing, it won't take them long to find me, and you." Says Kiryu.

Suddenly, the two guys start laughing, much to his surprise.

"What's so funny?" Kiryu asks.

Haruka turns back around, also laughing. "Oh, I don't know if it's more funny or sad, but you're clearly out of the loop. Once they figure out who leads us, the Raven Tribe, they'll refuse to attack us and take this camp. Thus, this territory will still be ours and you won't conquer Satellite. So yes, your teammates may come to rescue you. But, you can consider Team Satisfaction at its end." Says Haruka.

The two guys are once again laughing, as she walks away from Kiryu, who closes his eyes forlornly.

The following day. Jack, Yusei and Crow are running down a street. They're chasing after a guy, with a duel disk. The guy runs into a darkened alleyway.

Yusei, Jack and Crow stop chasing him. Jack shakes his head, in annoyance, and stretches a little. Suddenly, someone pulls the trigger of a gun and he blocks the shot with his duel disk.

The guy they were chasing reappears, with several other guys in tow. "I can't believe you were dumb enough to let me lead you here." The guys present all have duel disks at the ready and weapons drawn at Jack, Yusei and Crow.

"Is this everyone?" Jack asks.

The guy chuckles. "Yeah. This is it. Well, unless you count the whole rest of the camp back that way." He gestures behind him with his thumb.

Crow points a finger in the same direction. "That way?" Asks Crow.

The guy grunts, in confusion, and looks at his teammates first. "Yeah. That way."

"Good to know. Thanks." Yusei says.

The guy punches his fist. "Now you're going to take your lumps."

Jack activates his duel disk.

The Raven Tribe members get cautious, activate their duel disks and keep their weapons trained on him, Yusei and Crow. The guy activates his own duel disk, also aiming his gun. "You really ought to think twice about fighting all..."

He cuts off when Yusei and Crow activate their duel disks.

The rest of the Raven Tribe members gasp. "Okay... Get them!" He and the other Raven Tribe members attack.

The three members of Team Satisfaction defeat them.

After the fight, they walk past the guys that they just beat.

The guy, struggling to get up, coughs. "Who are you guys? It doesn't even matter. When Sakura finds out what you did, you're dead!"

Crow, Jack and Yusei stop in their tracks. "Sakura?" Asks Jack. "She's the leader of the Raven Tribe?" Crow asks. Yusei lets out a sigh. "Probably. But I doubt it." Says Yusei. He then turns back to look over his shoulder at the guy. "I'm her brother, after all." Yusei says. He turns away and walks off.

Jack and Crow are only a step behind.

The guy is wide-eyed. "I'm dead." He falls to the ground.

Some time later. Jack, Yusei and Crow finally enter the camp, escorted by a few bruised Raven Tribe members who they had roughed up earlier. They notice more members lining up along the path, giving angry glares at them.

Haruka and another girl step out of their tent to see what the commotion is about. The other girl is extremely beautiful and delicate-looking, with a slim stature. She is the same height as Sakura, 5'4", and the same age as Haruka and Crow, fourteen. She has a fair complexion, with deep blue eyes and wavy, chin-length, teal hair. Regardless of her age, she's the epitome of elegance and femininity. She's wearing a cornflower blue, double-breasted pea coat, with pale yellow piping, cuffs and buttons, over a dark blue, pleated full skirt, with pale yellow lace trim. She also wears a pair of brown, thigh-high boots and lace-topped, pale yellow stockings.

On the opposite side of the camp, a young woman steps out of her tent, also curious about the commotion. She has a slightly dark complexion, with long, dark green hair, which is partially tied up in a high bun, while the rest of her hair is loose down the back, falling to her tailbone, and dark red eyes. She's wearing a long, light violet dress with one long, wide sleeve hiding her left arm. The edges of the collar and the opening for the right arm are black, and the upper chest and left sleeve are decorated with white designs. The right side of her dress is open from the hip down with two, white straps made up of interwoven ropes connecting the front half to the the back half of her thigh. Under the dress, she appears to wear black pantyhose. On the right hip, the dress has a black, rhombus-shaped gem set in a white metal of the same shape, with feathers of varying shades of red extending from the bottom of it. On her right arm, she wears a long, white glove, the top of which has a black metal ring, with curvy branching extensions going up to her arm. She completes her outfit with red, dangling earrings and black, high-heeled shoes. She is 5'10' and seventeen.

The two guys guarding Kiryu are dueling table-style, before joining the rest of their tribe to see Jack, Yusei and Crow walk in.

Kiryu notices this and gets to work on trying to free himself from his confinement.

Jack, Yusei, Crow and their escorts arrive at the camp's main tent.

Sakura, with Grim alongside her, emerge from it.

"Sis." Says Yusei.

"Yusei." Sakura says. She smiles, slightly. "So, after all this time you finally decided to visit me. And you brought Jack and Crow with you, as well." Says Sakura.

Jack and Crow notice that Yusei's shaking, but he lets out a breath to calm himself down. "You know that we've been looking for you. We spent half a year trying to find you." Yusei says.

"And you found me. Patience, determination and strength, that is all it took for you three to finally find me. Well done, boys. However, did you have to be so rough with my men?" Says Sakura.

"We didn't want a fight." Crow says. "They started it." Says Jack.

"Well, you certainly finished it." Sakura says.

Silence.

"Right. I'm sure this is all very overwhelming. However, I must admit that all three of you have proven yourselves. So any questions you have, I shall be happy to answer. You can stay with us tonight. I will even have the cooks whip up a feast for you." Says Sakura.

Crow and Jack almost seem ready to take her up on that offer. "That's not why we're here." Yusei says.

The members of the Raven Tribe react to his irreverence.

Even Jack and Crow look a little shocked at Yusei's words.

"What was that?" Asks Sakura.

"We're not here for you. Kiryu's missing and is somewhere in this territory, that you and your Raven Tribe run. We just need you to help us find him." Yusei says.

"And why would I do that?" Asks Sakura.

"Because we're family." Yusei says. "And we're friends." Says Crow. Jack nods, subtly.

Sakura scowls. "Family. Friends. Only coming around when they need something." Sakura thinks to herself. "I have to say, I'm disappointed. After all, you found me, didn't you? Why not take that drive and use it to find that poor excuse you call a leader if he really means that much to you?" Sakura asks.

"Because you're going to save us time. Kiryu was last seen in your territory, but there's no guarantee he's made it out of here. Looking for him in unknown territory could take ages. But... Crow was with Kiryu before he went missing and when we found him, he was out cold. When Jack and I got him to come to, he told us something... interesting." Says Yusei.

"Crow..." Sakura says, under her breath.

"He and Kiryu were scouting around the area, looking for our next duel gang to take out. And when they did, Crow was hit from behind and knocked unconscious. But unlike Kiryu, he was left there. And if Kiryu fought back, he wouldn't have left Crow behind. So that only means one thing, after Crow was knocked out, Kiryu was ambushed and taken by a rival duel gang. And since this is your tribe's territory, I have a sneaking suspicion that you just might know something about Kiryu's sudden disappearance, nor did you seem very surprised to see us come here. So, either you know where he is and you were expecting us or you have traitors among you, sis." Says Yusei.

"Unfortunately, the only traitor I see is you, little brother." Sakura says.

Yusei's trying not to let her words get to him, but its hard for him to hear her, his own sister say this, let alone knowing that she thinks that he betrayed her. His eyes look pained and conflicted, but his fists are clenched at his side, fighting his own inner turmoil. Jack and Crow notice this, Yusei's being affected by Sakura's words, he's hurting emotionally.

"And not just you. Jack and Crow, as well." Says Sakura.

Jack and Crow are shocked speechless, it's just as hard for them to hear her say this to them as it is for Yusei.

"You know, it takes real strength to march in here and demand such a favor of me, let alone question the loyalty of my underlings. Many of which were devoted followers of mine since I started dueling. I must say, I'm impressed. It is very noble to want to find and help your leader. However, he's already a lost cause." Sakura says.

"What does that mean?" Asks Yusei.

"You don't want to get mixed up in all of that, Yusei. Nor do you, Jack. Or you, Crow. Kyosuke Kiryu is not the man you think he is. And all three of you are fools for trusting him." Sakura says.

Jack scowls. Crow clenches his fists at his sides, his teeth are also clenched. Yusei's eyes are smoldering. "I don't care what you think." Says Yusei.

Haruka, holding Kiryu's duel disk, looks on, disdainfully, and places her right hand on her hip. The girl standing beside her crosses her arms, looking on, seething.

The young woman standing opposite of Haruka and the other girl, annoyed, places her gloved hand on her hip.

Grim growls, deeply. "Your choices are your own. All I'm suggesting is that instead of getting wrapped up in something too big for you, for any of us, that maybe you all take a moment to wonder if you three are already where you belong." Sakura says.

"Save your breath. You can spout off whatever you want, but nothing is going to keep us from finding and helping Kiryu." Says Yusei.

"Still as stubborn as ever, I see." Sakura says.

Yusei folds his arms across his chest, smirking slightly. "A trait I tend to share with my sister." Says Yusei.

"Well, if that is how you feel, then it sounds like we are done here." Sakura says. She turns away, with Grim in tow. "Take them away." Says Sakura.

The Raven Tribe members surround and begin to move in on Crow, Yusei and Jack. They see this, before turning their heads back to Sakura. "Did you not hear him?" Crow asks.

Sakura turns back around before she can enter her tent.

"He said help us find Kiryu, damn it!" Says Jack.

"That's enough! You watch your mouth in front of our leader!" Some of the other members tense up behind him.

"Make me." Jack says.

The guy that spoke up tries to attack him. Jack punches the guy into a tent, revealing Kiryu in his cage.

"Guys?" Asks Kiryu.

"Kiryu?" Yusei, Jack and Crow asks.

"Okay, well, subtlety is out." Says Kiryu, mumbling to himself. He lifts up a sharp rock and smashes it into the lock on his cage door, breaking it open. Kiryu quickly makes his way towards Jack, Yusei and Crow. "You're here?" Crow asks. "Are you okay?" Asks Jack. "Don't worry about it. What took you guys so long?" Kiryu asks. Yusei gestures to Sakura. "Well, turns out you had Kiryu all along." Says Yusei.

Sakura sighs, lightly. "You never asked if I did." Sakura says, matter-of-factly.

Crow shrugs. "She's not wrong." Says Crow. "She kidnapped me!" Kiryu says, incredulously. "You kidnapped him?!" Asks Yusei. He, Kiryu, Jack and Crow turn and run to fight the members of the Raven Tribe, but a yellow energy blast, shaped as a ringed sphere, is hurled toward the ground, causing an earthquake.

It was summoned by Haruka, who's holding up a duel card, stopping the fight before it starts. The other girl and the young woman are standing at either side of her. "Enough!" Haruka says, her voice echoing.

Sakura turns to her. "Thank you." Says Sakura. She then brings her attention to everyone else. "If you people don't keep it together, this place will be swarming with Security." Sakura says. She then turns back to Haruka. "Give the half-wit his duel disk back." Says Sakura.

Haruka looks surprised at the command, then tosses the duel disk to Kiryu.

"Team Satisfaction. This territory belongs to us, the Raven Tribe. As you can see, I house many here, duelist and non-duelist alike. We are not like most duel gangs of Satellite, I don't even really consider us as one. However, if you still wish to try and take over this territory. The only ones you will be dueling against is me..." Sakura says. She gestures towards Haruka, the other girl and the young woman. "And these three ladies." Says Sakura.

Haruka, the other girl and the young woman step forward, in a dueling distance from Team Satisfaction.

"You still owe me for the kick to my face, kidnapping me and holding me hostage." Kiryu says.

Haruka and the young woman step aside, as Sakura walks up, taking her position between the two.

Kiryu's about to activate his duel disk, until Yusei puts out a hand to stop him. "Wait. This isn't a duel we can win." Says Yusei. "What are you talking about? If this tribe's best is a quartet of girls, then we can take this place, easily." Kiryu says.

"Young man, I would be careful how you speak." Says the young woman. "Girls are just as capable of having exceptional dueling skills as boys." The other girl says. "And if there's one thing I hate, it's a boy who thinks certain sports and hobbies are solely gender based." Says Haruka.

"I didn't say girls can't duel. But, I've yet to lose to one." Kiryu says.

Sakura laughs, slightly. "Kyosuke Kiryu, congratulations." Says Sakura. Her expression soon returns to serious. "You want to duel that bad? Be my guest." Sakura says.

"Kiryu, don't." Says Crow. "Even you don't stand a chance against her." Jack says. "You both doubt me and my dueling skills?!" Asks Kiryu. "It's not that. Your dueling skills are exceptional. But, her dueling skills are almost... otherworldly." Yusei says. "Believe us, we know her. I've lost to her, many times over." Says Crow. "I've even lost to her." Jack says. "The only one who ever dueled on par with her... was Yusei." Says Crow. "Other than their final duel against each other, their duels always ended in a draw." Jack says. "Final duel?" Asks Kiryu. Yusei bows his head, his eyes shadowed.

Sakura just looks away and lowers her head, her eyes shadowed.

"What happened? Who won?" Kiryu asks. "By the time the duel was coming to an end, they were both completely exhausted." Says Crow. "They were both in rough shape by the end. Neither of them let up and it started to take a toll on them. Before the duel even concluded, they both collapsed in exhaustion." Jack says. "The duel ended, but never finished. They never dueled each other again after that." Says Crow. "Only to find out, they make one hell of a dueling duo rather than dueling opponents." Jack says. "Kiryu, have you heard of the Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite?" Asks Crow. "Of course. The Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite is a duelist who has never lost and remains undefeated to this day. There isn't a duelist in all of Satellite that hasn't heard of the Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite." Kiryu says. "Well, she's the infamous Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite." Says Jack. "What? You're the Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite?" Kiryu asks.

"You're literally standing within a camp that is called the Raven Tribe. All of these people you see around here, are loyal followers of mine, underlings of the Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite." Says Sakura.

"Well, I still want a shot at this girl. We'll see who's the best duelist of Satellite after this." Kiryu says.

"Fine." Says Sakura. She steps up. "Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna. Keep Yusei, Jack and Crow entertained while I take care of this half-wit." Sakura says.

At this, Kiryu gains a look of shock, and then of anger. He activates his duel disk and advances forward.

Sakura activates her duel disk and blocks Kiryu's attack.

"Kiryu!" Says Crow. He moves forward and leaps into the air, but a card gets thrown at him and he lands on the ground, in a crouch.

Setsuna catches the card she threw in its return path, holding it at the ready. "You're not getting near her." Setsuna says.

Kiryu's then pushed back by Sakura and the two begin their duel.

Jack runs forward to try and stop the fight, but Michiru steps in front of him. "Hello. I'm afraid I can't let you interfere." Says Michiru. She lifts up a card, holding it up. Jack growls under his breath.

Haruka draws a card and confronts Yusei. "Despite your relation to her, I won't let you get in her way. She's mine to protect now." Haruka says. "And what exactly is your relationship with her?" Asks Yusei. Haruka smiles, slyly. "Lets just put it at this, I know her better than even you do." Haruka says, with a wink. Yusei's seething.

Before any duels can get underway, several Raven Tribe members come running. "Sakura."

At her name, she turns to them.

"We got trouble."

Sakura lowers her duel disk, more interested in her tribesmen than dueling Kiryu right now. "What is it?" Asks Sakura.

A few of her tribesmen approach her. "A group of bandits." "They mean to wage war with us." "I see." Sakura says. She turns back to Kiryu. "Apologizes, Team Satisfaction. However, I am needed elsewhere. We will not be dueling today." Says Sakura. She starts walking away.

Kiryu takes this as his opportunity. "Never turn your back on your opponent!" Kiryu says. He rushes forward.

"Kiryu!" Says Yusei.

Before Kiryu can so much as land a hit on Sakura, Haruka gets between them and stops his assault, easily. He's shocked by her strength. Haruka punches Kiryu in the gut with a lot of force behind it, sending him flying into a tent.

She then straightens herself up, standing back-to-back with Sakura.

"Whoa!" Crow says. Jack's just as shocked.

"Kiryu!" Says Yusei. He runs over to where Kiryu landed. "Are you okay?" Yusei asks. "Uagh!" Says Kiryu. He sits up, groggily.

"Haruka is my right-hand for a reason. Underestimating her is a mistake." Sakura says.

Yusei helps Kiryu up, who's leaning on him with one arm over his shoulder.

Jack and Crow soon join them.

"As long as I'm around, no one will get close to her." Says Haruka.

Michiru and Setsuna walk up, standing alongside her. "And she's not alone." Michiru says. "She has Michiru and I, as well." Says Setsuna. "Ladies, we have some bandits to take care of. We must do what is best for the tribe." Sakura says. "Of course." Says Haruka. She, Michiru and Setsuna head off.

Sakura turns back to Team Satisfaction, as Grim approaches her. "Team Satisfaction. Your free to leave. However, if you come back here, I may not be as kind the next time we meet." Sakura says.

Kiryu rolls his eyes and bows his head. "You weren't kind this time either." Says Yusei. He and the rest of Team Satisfaction proceed, taking their leave.

Sakura watches them go and sighs, lightly. "I know." Sakura says. She then walks off, and Grim follows her.

The flashback changes. It is daytime at the Raven Tribe camp. Sakura's sitting alone in her tent, polishing up her duel disk. Grim's lying on a huge, red throw pillow on the floor, asleep.

Suddenly, Haruka enters. "Sakura, we have a problem." Says Haruka.

"What is it?" Sakura asks.

"Team Satisfaction has come back." Says Haruka.

Sakura's eyes widen, briefly. "Yusei..." Sakura says.

"Yes, he and the other members of Team Satisfaction are waiting to speak with you." Says Haruka.

Sakura stands up. "Very well. We planned for this..." Sakura says.

Grim wakes up and walks over to her, stopping to stand before her. Sakura turns to Haruka. "You, Michiru and Setsuna stay in close vicinity." Says Sakura.

Outside of her tent, Yusei, Kiryu, Crow and Jack, the four members of Team Satisfaction, all stand and wait, while the members of the Raven Tribe surround them, eyeing them carefully.

Sakura steps out of her tent, with Grim following at her heels. She turns her attention to her tribesmen. "I do not recall inviting Team Satisfaction back into our home. Either I'm losing my memory, or you have all lost your spines!" Sakura says, raising her voice.

"Don't be too upset with them, Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite. Your men simply recognize powerful duelists when they see them. Which is why we'd like to have a word with you." Says Kiryu.

Sakura turns to her tribesmen. "Leave us. For those of you who are leaving, pack your things, then break down camp. Either Setsuna or Michiru shall see you safely out. I wish all of you a safe journey and thank you all for your contributions to the tribe. Just know, wherever your paths lead, may the raven guide you well." Sakura says.

"The raven guides us all!" The tribesmen all leave.

"What's going on?" Asks Yusei.

Sakura walks down the steps from the platform in front of her tent, and Grim follows her. "During the bandit raid, we took some heavy casualties. We were able to subdue them. However..." Sakura says. She stops at the foot of the steps, with Grim standing at her side. "Well, look around you." Says Sakura.

Yusei, Crow and Jack look around, noticing the injured tribesmen, a lot of them the worse for wear. The three of them actually look sorry for them. "Were there any fatalities?" Jack asks.

"Unfortunately, we did have several fatalities. They were young and full of potential, always looking to improve and show their efforts to me, to prove their worth to the tribe." Says Sakura.

"Kids?" Crow asks.

Sakura lowers her head, sadly.

Crow's eyes widen, in disbelief. Jack and Yusei look just as upset.

"Bandits are far more ruthless than duel gangs. We did lose a few children, far too innocent and trusting. Full of potential, taken far too soon." Says Sakura.

"And what about you?" Yusei asks.

Sakura looks up at him. "I shall be fine. However, in order to avoid another bandit raid, we are disbanding the camp. The Raven Tribe shall still stand, with only some of us remaining." Says Sakura.

"I'm sorry." Yusei says.

"Now, why are you here? I believe I warned you about coming back here." Says Sakura.

"I'm sure you're very much aware of our intentions. We want to take out every duel gang and conquer all of Satellite. Your tribe and one other duel gang stand in our way of doing that. Nothings going to get in our way of doing that, not even you." Kiryu says. He activates his duel disk, grinning ominously.

"Haruka!" Says Sakura.

Haruka steps out of her tent and walks up next her, standing opposite of Grim. "Michiru! Setsuna!" Sakura says.

Michiru and Setsuna step out of their respective tents, and walk over to stand alongside her, Grim and Haruka.

"So, you and these three girls are the best the Raven Tribe have to offer. Prove it." Says Kiryu.

Sakura and Haruka share a glance with each other, with the former nodding.

Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna step forward, moving to stand in front of Sakura and Grim.

"Don't bother wasting your powers, he's not worth it." Sakura says.

Haruka activates her duel disk first, and plays a card. "Space Sword!" Says Haruka. The card transforms into a sword, with a golden handle and the blade concealed with a silver, jewel-decorated sheath. She reaches for the sword and takes it, with a slight swish.

Michiru activates her duel disk next, and plays a card. "Deep Aqua Mirror!" Michiru says. The card transforms into a golden-framed, hand-mirror. She reaches for the hand-mirror and holds it close to her chest.

Setsuna is the last one to activate her duel disk, and plays a card. "Garnet Orb!" Says Setsuna. The card transforms into a garnet orb, set in some type of silver, heart-shaped metal. She reaches for the orb, as it hovers in her hand.

Kiryu smiles, in amazement. "Are they psychic duelists?" Crow asks. "Illusionists?" Asks Jack.

"Would you believe powers from ancient times?" Sakura asks.

"I think I would believe magic tricks before ancient artifacts." Says Yusei. "I think... I've seen enough." Kiryu says.

The items that Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna summoned soon vanish, they deactivate their duel disks, as well.

Michiru and Haruka step aside as Sakura takes a position between them, and Grim moves to stand in front of his mistress, protectively. "As I have said before, Haruka is my right-hand for a reason. Michiru and Setsuna also play a key role in the Raven Tribe's survival." Says Sakura.

"And you're the leader for a reason, I'm sure. I take it you have a card that transforms into an ancient relic, too?" Kiryu asks.

"Perhaps." Says Sakura.

"I see, not one to reveal your hand. I can respect that." Kiryu says.

Sakura scowls. "What do you want, Kyosuke?" Asks Sakura.

"You dare call me by my given name!" Kiryu says.

Sakura responds by activating her duel disk, and playing a card. "Galactic Flare Scythe!" Says Sakura. The card transforms into a scythe, with a metallic black, diamond-shaped jewel-decorated snaith, ending in a diamond-shaped edge and its blade coated in galaxy hues. The design of this scythe, is the epitome of a weapon made from the Milky Way itself. She reaches for the scythe and hangs it behind herself.

"Whoa!" Crow says. "Look at that thing, it radiates power." Says Jack. "She never had that before." Yusei says.

The weapon that Sakura summoned soon vanishes, deactivating her duel disk, as well.

"Okay, you know my name. So, does the Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite have one?" Asks Kiryu.

Sakura sighs. "Sakura."

"'Cherry blossom', huh? A little different from your image, isn't it?" Kiryu asks.

"Like you are one to talk. Your name means 'respectful', does it not?" Asks Sakura.

"Sakura, I won't underestimate you, so please don't insult my intelligence. There is a slim chance you and your powerful duelists could escape today, but if you know us as well as you claim to, then you know you can never truly escape us. But we come bearing an olive branch." Kiryu says. He turns to Yusei. "You seem to be able to get through to her better than any of us. So, go ahead." Says Kiryu.

Yusei, hesitating slightly, walks up to Sakura. "Powerful duelists are merely a means to an end. Kiryu's true desire is taking out the final duel gang of Satellite. Come with us. You, Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna come with us to take out this final duel gang, and all previous acts against Kiryu will be forgiven." Yusei says. He leans in closer to Sakura. "It's the best deal any of you are going to get." Says Yusei. He walks away from them to rejoin his team.

"You talk as if walking straight into their territory will be easy." Sakura says.

"That's because it will be. All of us against them? It'll be over in a heartbeat." Says Kiryu.

Sakura prepares her duel disk, Grim lets out a deep growl. "I won't help you, Kyosuke! I do not want any part of this!" Sakura says.

"That ship sailed when you chose to attack, kidnap and take me hostage. But if you come with us, we'll leave you and your tribe alone." Says Kiryu.

"I believe I just gave you my answer. I do not fear you or your team. Team Satisfaction is no threat to Raven Tribe. This is your last warning and I suggest you heed it, do not return here! Leave!" Sakura says.

"You're making a big mistake." Says Kiryu.

Haruka steps in front of Sakura, he'll have to go through her to get to her. "I sent you flying last time. If you so much as step foot through the gate, I'll send you where they'll never find you again." Haruka says.

Kiryu scoffs. "Fine. Have it your way." Says Kiryu. He turns away. "Come on, lets go." Kiryu says.

Crow and Jack move to follow after him.

Before Yusei does, he looks back at Sakura, who returns his gaze, and walks away, trailing after his team.

Flashback to the final duel gang. Under a smoggy afternoon sun, the four members of Team Satisfaction walk into the downtown area down the middle of the street.

A gang member wearing red tones, with a rust-red vest-jacket and leather helmet with goggles, peeps from a doorway and ducks out of sight.

Two more on a rooftop do the same.

A third runs across a doorway toward the interior of the building.

Yusei stops walking, scenting trouble. Crow and Jack are only a step behind without having to look, all three eye the surroundings, warily. Kiryu, too, looks, then smiles, grimly. "Hmph. Come out!" Says Kiryu.

In response, the reddish-vests show themselves, four on one rooftop, four more from beneath a metal platform, and about twenty more from other hiding places, they're surrounded, outnumbered at least five-to-one.

"That's cheating! It should be four-on-four!" Crow says. "Hahahaha! It's fine. Unless there's this many of them, I won't be satisfied. Duel!" Says Kiryu. The four activate their duel disks and run in opposite directions.

Red-vests leap from the rooftops, run forward from hiding places and engage them.

"Here I go!" Crow says. He has four red-jackets on grappling chains, tangled around his duel disk.

Jack joins in, as he runs down the street opposite a red-vest as their monsters zoom along above them, possibly a low-tech turbo-duel. "Twin-Sword Marauder attacks Goblin Attack Force!" Says Jack.

Twin-Sword Marauder attacks and destroys the opponent's monster, Goblin Attack Force, and the rest of his life points. The red-vest's duel disk sparks and explodes. He stops and winces away from it.

Jack yanks back his grappling chain, twirls it and lassos the next one of the red-vests that's been running behind them. "You're next!" Jack says.

Meanwhile elsewhere, Kiryu wins a duel and his opponent's duel disk explodes. As he pulls his chain back, he pulls the duelist with it and the red-vest comes flying down the stairs duel disk first. Kiryu runs up the stairs, which are no longer defended, toward a doorway to the roof.

At the last moment, yet another red-vest blocks his path, running through the doorway.

Kiryu throws the other end of his chain, already in his hand after he finished with the other guy and it attaches to the guy's wrist. "Here I go!" Says Kiryu.

A sparking, wrecked duel disk. It's one of a few on the wrists of defeated red-vests who kneel on a rooftop and watch Yusei face-off with the red-vests' leader. "Are you the leader?" Yusei asks.

"How dare you!"

"You're the ones who gave dueling a bad name! You'll pay for that! Huh!" Says Yusei. He throws his grappling chain and it fastens squarely around the red-vest's duel disk.

"Huh? Huhuhuh. All I care about is winning the battle." He grabs the chain and pulls on it. "And I can win by physically beating you up! Hah!" Still pulling on the chain, he runs toward the edge of the building, yanking Yusei after him.

"What?" Yusei asks.

The leader leaps from that rooftop to the next. He lands, turns and grabs the chain again, pulling.

Yusei's now on the edge of the roof, at the railing and being pulled over it.

"Heheheheh! Die!" He yanks on the grappling chain.

Yusei gets pulled over the railing and comes flying across the gap between the rooftops. "Whooo-ooooa!" Says Yusei. He grabs the chain, hoping to pull himself across.

The leader of the red-vests chuckles, evilly, and takes off his duel disk.

"Huh?!" Yusei asks.

"Bye, kid." He throws the duel disk over the edge after Yusei, there's nothing left to keep him from falling.

Crow looks up. "Yusei!" Says Crow, shouting.

"Aaaaaaaaah! Aaa-aaa-aaaaah!"

"Yusei!" Jack says, yelling.

"Aa-aaa-aaaaah!"

Suddenly, a whip fastens around Yusei's wrist, he dangles from the first rooftop by an arm. He looks up, about four stories up.

Sakura is leaning over the rail, attached to Yusei's wrist by her own strength.

"Sakura!" Says Yusei.

"Yusei…" Sakura says. She strains, trying to pull Yusei up. The flashback ends.

Back to the present. "Heheheheheheheh. My turn!" Says Kiryu. He draws, and smirks at the card he drew. "I activate the 'Speed Spell-Power Baton'. I can activate this Speed Spell when I have six or more Speed Counters. I select one monster card in my deck and send it to the graveyard. During the Damage Step, one monster on my field gains attack points equal to the monster I sent to the graveyard! The monster I'm sending to the graveyard is Infernity Destroyer, which has two thousand three hundred attack points!" Kiryu says.

"What?" Asks Yusei.

"By sending this card to the graveyard, Hundred Eyes Dragon's attack points become five thousand three hundred! Uhahahahahahah!" Kiryu says.

Hundred Eyes Dragon's attack points are now 5300.

"Next, Hundred Eyes Dragon's monster effect activates! It gains the monster effect of Infernity Dwarf that's in my graveyard. When I have zero cards in my hand, if Infernity Dwarf's attack points are greater than your defending monster's defense points, then the difference is dealt to you as damage! Heheheheh. This is the power of my zero-card handless combo!" Says Kiryu.

"Handless combo…" Yusei says.

"Hundred Eyes Dragon attacks Rockstone Warrior!" Says Kiryu. He goes into a sideways skid. "Infinity Sight Stream!" Kiryu says.

Hundred Eyes Dragon unleashes a gigantic fuchsia fireball, headed straight for Rockstone Warrior. Yusei's monster shatters in the flames.

"Take three thousand seven hundred points of damage!" Says Kiryu.

"I won't let that happen! Due to Rockstone Warrior's monster effect, battle damage becomes zero!" Yusei says.

The fragments of Rockstone Warrior hover around him and his D-Wheel, creating a protective barrier, the flames pass around it.

"Hahahahahahahahahahah! You barely survived, Yusei. But is there anything you can do on the next turn? You have no monsters left on your field to act as a shield! And you only have two cards in your hand!" Says Kiryu.

Yusei looks down at his last two cards, Hyper Synchron and 'Speed Spell-Final Attack'.

"With those two cards in your hand, can you form a strategy to stop my Hundred Eyes Dragon? Hahahahahahaha! Worry and suffer! Fight to live!" Kiryu says.

"Quit it! Kiryu, you're… You're… You're not this type of person!" Says Yusei.

Flashback. Sakura keeps hanging onto Yusei, as he dangles off of the side of the building from the whip wrapped around her own wrists and hands. As she strains to hold him up, the rail begins to give way, bending under her weight.

Both Yusei and Sakura yell, as he falls further and she tries to stay on the roof.

She is now hanging halfway off of the roof, one hand on the broken railing, the other reaching out with the whip and her legs still on the roof. The railing starts to give even further, the metal itself ripping apart. This railing must be made of aluminum or something.

"Sakura, it's fine! Let go! Or else, you'll also…" Yusei says.

"No! I shall not forsake you! You're my brother!" Says Sakura.

"Sakura…" Yusei says.

Grim suddenly stands up and starts growling at Kiryu, who's now standing behind Sakura.

"What are you doing here, Red-Eyed Raven?" Asks Kiryu.

Grim just keeps snarling at him, standing his ground. Sakura looks up and over at him from the corner of her eyes. "As you can see, I'm in a bit of a predicament at the moment. I don't have time to deal with you, Kyosuke. Grim, sick him!" Sakura says. At her command, Grim lunges at Kiryu and knocks him over, biting down on the arm he's shielding himself with.

Sakura starts trying to pull Yusei up again, which is really becoming an effort for her to keep hanging onto him. A sudden thud, followed by a whimper, can be heard.

When Sakura turns to look, Kiryu grabs her by the hair and the throat, she's then able to see that he threw Grim off of himself and onto the ground. He starts bringing her near the edge, as she's still holding onto the whip that's keeping Yusei from meeting his end.

"Kiryu, stop! Leave her alone!" Says Yusei, yelling.

"Huh?" Kiryu asks. He looks down, past Sakura, who he still has in a tight choke-hold. "Yusei?" Asks Kiryu.

"Let her go, Kiryu! She saved me..." Yusei says.

"Saved you? But, she's an enemy." Says Kiryu.

"No, she isn't. Not to us, anyway." Yusei says.

Kiryu, though hesitant, lets go of Sakura, who falls to her knees, breathing heavily. He then takes the whip from her and takes over pulling Yusei up.

"Kiryu…" Says Yusei.

"Ga-aa-aaah!" The flashback ends.

Back to the present. "I'm not done. Due to Hundred Eyes Dragon's monster effect, I activate the monster effect of Infernity Destroyer that's in my graveyard! When I have zero cards in my hand, you take eight hundred points of damage when I destroy your monster in battle!" Kiryu says.

Hundred Eyes Dragon shoots a huge purple fireball at Yusei, as the purple light obscures visuals of him. "Uuuaaaaaaaaah!"

The flashback continues. Kiryu grabs Yusei's hand and pulls him up the rest of the way.

By now, Crow has joined them on the rooftop and is pulling the whip back up along with Yusei. For a moment, he and Kiryu just sit on the roof, breathing heavily. "Thanks, Kiryu." Says Yusei. Kiryu laughs through catching his breath and gives a shaky thumbs-up. Yusei then walks over to stand in front of Sakura, who looks up at him. "I owe you my life." Yusei says. He holds his hand out, and Sakura hesitantly rests her hand in it. "You... don't owe me anything." Says Sakura. Yusei helps her to her feet.

None of the four notice the leader of the gang on the other roof. He sneers and turns a gun on them, aiming it for Kiryu and pulls the trigger.

However, Sakura sees this, pushes him out of the way and takes the shot. Kiryu's eyes widen, in shock, his enemy just saved his life. Sakura collapses, instantly on impact, her hands pressed against where she was hit, which is either her side or abdomen, wincing. "Sakura!" Yusei says. He goes down to his knees next to her, Crow's just a step behind. "Sakura!" Says Crow. Sakura can only answer with pained moans. "Hang in there!" Yusei says. Crow, pissed, turns to see that the leader of the gang is still standing on the other roof.

He then turns to run off, until Jack kicks out the door, knocking him out. He lifts up a duel disk-clad arm, in victory, but its short-lived. Jack notices the scene in front of him and his face changes to one of worry. "Sakura?" Asks Jack.

A little bit later. He soon joins them. "What happened?" Jack asks. "She was shot!" Says Crow. "She needs help!" Yusei says. "Her camp is too far off from here. We'll take her to our hideout, it's a little more closer." Says Kiryu. "Kiryu?" Yusei asks. "She took a bullet for me. I owe her this much." Says Kiryu. "We need to get moving, then." Jack says. Crow stand up. "Get going. I'll got get some help and meet you guys there." Says Crow. He takes off running.

Yusei lifts Sakura, who's barely conscious, and stands up, cradling her in his arms. "Lets go." Yusei says. "Right." Says Kiryu. Jack nods, subtly. They're soon off, heading off to their hideout.

Sometime later, at Team Satisfaction's hideout. The four guys are milling around and waiting for answers.

The door opens and a doctor walks out, closing it behind him. "What's the news?" Jack asks. "She's incredibly lucky. That bullet could've caused more damage than it did." "How is she?" Asks Crow. "She's hurting and exhausted. I was able to remove the bullet and gave her something to help with the pain. She needs rest." "Will she be okay?" Yusei asks. "With plenty of rest and having her lie low for a while, she'll be fine." Yusei, Jack and Crow all look relieved. "Thanks, doc." Says Crow. The doctor nods. "I'll be leaving then. There's not much more I can do here." "You've done plenty, thanks." Yusei says. The doctor soon leaves.

Four-way fist-bump. Kiryu colors in the M spot on the map. "We've conquered Satellite." Says Kiryu. "We did it!" Crow says. "Yeah!" Says Yusei. "Of course!" Jack says. All four laugh, long and loud. "Team Satisfaction is the greatest!" Says Kiryu. He tosses the fully blacked-out map into the sky and it gets blown away by the breeze. The four keep on laughing. The flashback ends.

Back to the present. The huge purple fireball is fast approaching Yusei. "Aaaaaah!" The blast hits, leaving Yusei with 1800 life points. "Ugh-uwaaaah-aaaagh!" Yusei's wheels leave the ground and he flies into the wall itself, like a feather in a storm. "Waaah-aaah!"

Kiryu looks behind, shouting to Yusei even as he disappears from view, flying into the fire. "You'll burn this time, Yusei Fudo!" Kiryu says, shouting.

Up on his vantage point, Crow sees Yusei fly away. "Yusei! Kiryu! That's enough, Kiryu!" Says Crow.

"Yusei!" Both Jack and Sakura say.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

Yusei's riding through a world of blinding violet fire, moaning with pain and then re-emerges, riding on the side of the wall. With a yell of effort, he lifts the front wheel of his D-Wheel and lands back on the field, shedding clinging fire off of himself and his D-Wheel. Yusei weaves a bit after landing and races back after Kiryu.

Flashback. A dark, rainy night, the action is practically in black and white. Security cars race by, their lights a harsh contrast in the darkness. Lightning rips up the sky, sharply illuminating the scene. Crow runs through the rain, his eyes wide and his jaw set with panic.

Jack calls through the storm, desperate with fear. "Where are you, Kiryu?" Asks Jack, calling out.

Somewhere in a dark alley, the scene is only briefly lit with lightning. Kiryu, his face, hands and clothes coated in blood, is standing over a fallen Security officer, with blood forming a small puddle beneath him, is completely motionless, not even breathing.

Kiryu soon sets his sights on Sakura, who's down on the ground, lying on her side, she's barely moving or conscious.

He advances on her, only for Yusei to run in and place himself over her, in an attempt to keep him from doing anything to her. "Kiryu, stop!" Yusei says.

And next thing he knows, he and Kiryu are fighting, wrestling, rolling over and over in the rain. Finally, Yusei pinned him, holding both of his arms to the ground. Kiryu screamed his fury, a caged animal. "Yusei!" Says Kiryu. Yusei held his ground, grimly, breathing heavily. There they lay, one best friend pinning the other to the ground in the middle of a dark, wet and rainy street, when the Security cars showed up, drowning both of them in light. Kiryu screams out his final promise of retribution, as the light from the headlights gets so bright he can no longer be seen. "You traitor!" Kiryu says. The flashback ends.

Back to the present. "Yusei, you traitor!" Says Kiryu.

Yusei looks at him, in shock for a moment, then his resolve hardens.
