Warning: There is a scene of torture but it is not too graphic in my opinion. If you think it is tell me and I will change this.

"Don't make a sound. Now, we are going to walk out of this door very, very quietly and you are going to get in the van waiting, no funny business, alright?"

All Alex could do was nod. If he did any more he would have a bullet in him; that he was certain of. Attempting to keep calm, Alex subtly tried to get to his phone which was in his pocket…except it wasn't. His phone was still broken. He had no way of contacting the others.

Alex felt his heart rate pick up as Puma nudged him in the back, getting him to move. Alex shuffled forward as slow as he dared. He couldn't let himself get kidnapped. He was near certain Puma worked for Scorpia and he couldn't go back. He couldn't. Panic welled up in him despite his desperate attempts to stay calm. His only option was to get the gun away from him and incapacitate Puma so he couldn't shoot him. However the issue was that Puma, as proven, had a great deal more bulk than him and their last fight had ended with Alex unconscious. He needed to be smart about this. And quick.

Alex could see the outline of the door he was being ushered to and knew this was his last opportunity to do something. Stepping forward, he faked tripping and felt the gun dislodge, just for a second. It was only a second he needed.

Swinging around, Alex knocked the gun upwards in Puma's hand but as his finger was held on the trigger it fired a shot, hitting the ceiling with a loud bang. Alex barely heard the screams of the other players as he dodged the swing of the gun Puma aimed at him. The space didn't allow for much movement so Alex was forced to duck when Puma swung again. Unfortunately, this meant that Puma could kick him and Alex was hit right in the face and knocked back. He was about to scrabble to his feet when he heard a gun cock and he froze.

"You move, another bloody inch, and I swear to god I will blow your head off. I don't care what my orders are, you make any more trouble and you are dead."

"Alex!"

The gun didn't move from its position but Alex could see the tension on Puma's face and in his stance increase.

"If you make any sort of move. I will shoot him."

Ben halted as he took in the scene before him and seconds later Alex heard the footsteps of the members of K-Unit. Ben stopped them with an outstretched hand and Puma grinned, obviously revelling in the power he had in that moment.

"Now Alex, you are going to get up and walk out of the door. You four aren't going to try and stop me because if you do I will but a bullet in young Alex's head." Puma pondered for a second. "In fact, you are going to come with us. Can't have you running back to MI6 after all. Now come on, up."

Puma gave the gun a warning tilt and Alex slowly rose to his feet, keeping his eyes trained on K-Unit and Ben as he did so. He could see the worry in their gazes and Alex tried to keep composed. A small, sick, part of him was glad that they would be coming with him. He in no way wanted to expose them to the cruelty of Scorpia but at the same time he had done this once alone and it had nearly broken him. Maybe he would cope better with the company and maybe escape would be a more viable option.

With the gun still pointed on him, Alex walked out of the door and the sudden exposure to the bright light made him squint. He could see the van Puma had been talking about; it was hidden by the back of the building in a small side road. Alex identified a driver in the front and two people leaning on the side of the van. To any of the public they would have merely looked like a casual construction men but Alex could just about make out the imprint of a gun hidden in their pockets.

He heard the footsteps of K-Unit and Ben behind him and he knew that Wolf had a gun on him, they always made sure that at least one of them went out with some form of defence but they knew as well as Alex did that the moment they shot Puma, Puma would pull the trigger or one of the men by the van would. It was a lose-lose situation, and Alex just hoped they got out alive.

"Get in." This order wasn't directed at Alex, but at K-Unit and Ben.

"Let Alex go." It was the first thing Ben had said and Puma laughed.

"Oh of course, since you asked so nicely, of you go Alex. Oh wait, I'm not actually stupid and I say what you do. Now, get in."

None of them looked happy about it but with the gun still trained on Alex they got in and the two men who had been waiting by the side went in as well and checked them over for weapons. The gun Wolf had carried was removed and it turned out that Ben also had a gadget of his which was also taken away. Once they were all cleared of weapons Puma nudged Alex.

"Your turn now."

Alex got inside but just as he entered he felt a shot hit him. It didn't, thankfully, feel like a bullet but Alex didn't have any more time to think about what it was instead because unconsciousness hit him quickly.

Awareness came slowly, as if he were fighting through a swamp, trying to breach the surface that seemed ever further away. His body refused to obey him but after many tries he finally managed to get his eyes to prise open. He wished they'd stayed shut.

He was in that room again, the room that had haunted his nightmares and he'd hoped never to see again. Though the size of the room was different, obviously they'd had to relocate, the layout was the same. Dead bodies, different ones this time, littered the floor, preserved in such a way that they could be kept to show the new victims who entered what horrors their captors were capable of. It was designed to break a grown man's spirit, let alone a teenager's.

Alex shut his eyes and kept them firmly sealed, determined not to think about where he was, instead he focused on his body and what he could do to get out. He knew he had been hit with a tranquiliser; that was the first thing he was certain of. He recognised the feeling of the drug slowly dissolving in his system. The next thing he was certain of was that his shirt had been removed, as had his socks and shoes, but thankfully his trousers remained. His wrists and ankles were clamped to the metal table he lay on and the memories of being trapped on it before made him tremble. He allowed himself to do so for the last thing he knew for certain was that, except for the dead bodies, he was alone in the room.

He wondered what happened to K-Unit and Ben. Were they in similar positions as him or were they merely being held in a cell? Alex hoped it was the second option because he felt enough guilt over them being captured in the first place.

Alex knew not to expect anyone to come anytime soon. During his previous captivity they had liked to leave him alone before they came as a form of psychological torture. The waiting and wonderings were almost as bad as the physical reality. In the end, Alex guessed he had waited at least an hour before the door opened and a man he didn't recognise walked in. He was a small, skinny man carrying a suitcase who looked all together unassuming. Had Alex seen him walking around in public, he would have thought him a peaceful scientist, not a man who was undoubtedly here to begin his torture.

"Hello Alex," the man said conversationally as walked around, inspecting the room. He gave the corpses a distasteful sniff and kicked one out of the way. Alex refused to answer him, and the man gave him a considering look.

"Oh how rude of me, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Dr Keeler. I've heard a lot of things about you Alex, and not all of them have been good. You've given Scorpia quite a bit of trouble haven't you but they're being surprisingly generous you know. But that's not my discussion to have. I am merely here to give you the punishment for your behaviour."

Though Alex was curious about what Dr Keeler meant about Scorpia being generous, his mind fixated on the 'punishment', he couldn't help it. Dr Keeler set his suitcase down on the table beside Alex. Alex craned his neck to try and see what was inside but the top was faced in his direction, blocking his view.

"Did you know, before I joined Scorpia I used to be an inventor?" Dr Keeler asked. Once again Alex refused to say anything causing Dr Keeler to sigh but continue regardless. "It was my inventions that caught Scorpia's eye in the first place. My inventions were a bit too…advanced shall we say for the people I were working for at the time. Scorpia was a blessing. Would you like to see one of the first things I made with them?"

No, Alex did not but he knew Dr Keeler was going to bring it out whatever he said. Dr Keeler applied some gloves – and how the snap that sounded made him jump – and brought out a metal contraption that looked like nothing Alex had ever seen before. It reminded him of an insect as it was small with six legs surrounding a thicker body. Dr Keeler placed it on Alex's stomach and the metal was cool against his skin.

"This was initially designed for interrogations for war," Dr Keeler explained as he arranged the legs so they were spread out. "Of course, you aren't being interrogated, but the point is all the same. This invention is designed to seek out regions of the body that are most sensitive in order to cause the most pain. Each set of two legs provides a different stimulus. One set…" Dr Keeler paused. "Actually, why don't I let you find out for yourself?"

Dr Keeler brought out a control remote and pressed a button that made the metal insect flare to life. It shifted on his body experimentally before it started crawling around, its legs leaving small pinpricks in his skin. It eventually settled just above his stomach and without warning two of its legs jabbed into him, making him hiss. At first nothing happened, but then the pain started growing but Alex couldn't tell what was doing it. Dr Keeler eyed him speculatively.

"Ah, I see it has chosen to apply the nails. What you are feeling right now are tiny nails embedding themselves into your tissue and slowly shredding it and they will continue to elongate. It's quite clever if I do say so myself."

Alex gritted his teeth against the pain, trying to divide his mind from it. Now Dr Keeler had described what was happening he could feel it more. He could feel the way each individual pin grew and spread under his skin. Finally they stopped growing and Alex panted.

"You have a high pain tolerance Alex, it is quite admirable," Dr Keeler praised. "Let's see how long it takes for you to scream."

The pins shortened again and though it didn't hurt as much, for the tissue they were moving through were already damaged; Alex still had to breathe deeply in order to not make a noise. Once it had fully pulled everything out, the metal insect crawled around his body once more, this time stopping on the palm of his hand. A different set of legs injected themselves and Alex fought to keep his hands flat, even when he realised they had almost gone straight through.

Dr Keeler spied his construction with interest. "I wonder which one-"

A jolt of electricity sparked in his palm, travelling upwards through the nerves in his arm causing it to jerk sporadically. Alex couldn't restrain the grunt of pain, born partly from surprise and partly from the sharp sting.

"Ah, the electric shock. Good choice."

The way Dr Keeler spoke to his creation as if it were a living being made Alex cringe and fear for the man's sanity. Another shock entered his system but this time he was prepared so he just gave a deep inhale. Like last time, the legs retracted and the insect moved around once more, settling this time by his ankles. Alex's only marginally good thought was at least this would be the last surprise.

Prepared for the spike of the legs, Alex didn't even move. Nothing happened for a few seconds and Alex was confused until he realised what it was doing. It was happening very slowly, but the legs were heating up and burning inside him. By the time they started to cool down again Alex was breathing heavily.

A cycle then started, the metal insect would continue to move across him, choosing different places each time to pierce him and Alex could never be sure which of the legs would work for it was random. Something that Alex did know was that each time the pain became worse for the shocks became greater, the needles became longer and the heat grew stronger. By the end of it Alex had been struck numerous times and had his eyes squeezed shut against the agony but the only thing he could console himself with was that not once did he scream. His lips were in tatters but nothing more than a hiss or grunt had escaped him.

"Well done Alex," Dr Keel said as he removed the insect to place it back into the suitcase. "You handled this very well, far better than some of these men did." He gestured to the dead bodies on the floor. "It looks like our time is up now but I do hope I get to see you again."

Dr Keeler then left and Alex finally let his body relax. His body was in agony but he didn't get long to rest his body for seconds after two men came in and unstrapped him from the table, lifting him roughly, one either arm. Unable to walk very well due to the sting in his feet the two men practically carried him through the long narrow corridors. Alex was now sure they were in a different location as before Alex knew the way to his cell but this time he was blind. The adrenaline was slowly wearing away and Alex was struggling to keep his eyes open though he tried to make sure they were. He wanted to remember the layout as it could prove useful.

They reached a metal door and Alex knew it would be his cell. One of the men opened it and he was shoved inside. Falling to the floor caused all of his wounds to scream in anguish and he just about heard worried cries of his name before he sunk into blissful unconsciousness.
