Next morning

The kids were all down stairs eating cereal when Veronica came down stairs. She put her hand on her sons head and kissed him. "hey you guys ready for school."

Lo and Lynn nodded as t looked up. "I should get going now I have to take angie in." "

That's okay sweetie " I'll drive you guys and take her in."

T smilled " I do it every morning since mom left its okay."

Veronica looked at him "it's not okay sweetie I got it."

The kids were getting their stuff together when Logan walked into the kitchen dressed in a suit and tie.

Veronica looked at him but he seemed to be trying to ignore her this morning. "Good morning." She ventured.

Logan looked up at her and automaticly said "good morning." Then looked back down.

Veronica inhealed "can I ask were your going?"

Logan looked back Down at the book he was carring and replied "I told you Apolo and I have a breakfast meeting for the new book. He wants the first ten chapters. "

"Oh I forgot I'm sorry. hey can we have lunch today?" Veronica asked hopefully.

Logan just shrugged " can't! dont know when ill be done. I'll see you later he said as he walked out the door."

Before she could even think she heard Lynn announce "mom were ready."

Parker

Parker noticed Veronica brining an excited angie into school. She could hear Angela from the door "auntie v come see my picture and my seat."

Parker walked over to them and knelt down to angie and said " can you go join the class with Mrs Lopez so I can talk to your aunt sweet heart?"

Angie just nodded and skipped away. Parker looked at Veronica "can I ask you something?"

Veronica nodded "sure why not."

Parker looked down " is it wrong of me to want to ask out Wallace?"

Veronica looked at her surprised "you and Wallace? You know their are kids involved." She asked.

Parker smiled and replied " we litterly bumped into each other last night and we talked for hours. It's funny how much we have in common. We both just got out of relationships and how we both want the samethings out of life."

Veronica laughed at her friend "you look so excited. You should go for it, but I'm sorry I should get going I have to go see my mom and other stuff."

Parker smiled "okay but we should do lunch like we use to just the girls."

Veronica nodded " sure soon. " she said as she left.

Veronica

She was standing outside of her mom's hospital room looking at her phone. Checking to see if Logan answered her text she wanted to just call him to hear his voice even if he was still angry with her but he was in a meeting he'd have it off. Veronica decided to just leave a message. She pressed two on speed dial and heard his inspirational message " I have seen only you, I have admired only you, I desire only you. Napoleon bonaprate. Veronica smiled and left the message "I hope that quote was for me. Logan, I know since Duncan got back we have been fighting a lot and I'm sorry. Call me so we can talk. I love you." She pressed end then opened the door to walk into her mom having a conversation with one of her doctors." Veronica looked at them and said " sorry am I interupting?"

LeAnn smiled " no Veronica. we were just talking." turning to dr. Andrews "this is my daughter I was telling you about." Veronica this is dr. Andrews.

Dr. Andrews smiled at them both and replied "It's really nice to meet you, but I should finish my rounds and let you to catch up."

Veronica walked to the seat by the bed " I just came to check on you. They say you can be released soon."

LeAnn looked at her "that's great. Are you staying a little while so we can talk."

Veronica frowned "I can't I wanna stop by dads and mo.. um Alicias. Also I have to go shopping for some supplies. I'm going to make Logan his favorite dinner tonight. Then pick up the kids. "

LeAnn smiled " full day huh. "

Veronica laughed "ya I'm sorry when you get out maybe we can spend some real time together. If your dr Andrews doesn't take up all your time." Veronica smiled "he's cute."

" I told you. I'm here to get to know you again. But ya he is cute isint he." LeAnn answered.

Logan

Logan and apolo just finished their meeting when apolo smiled and said "They loved it so far. When can I have the next ten chapters."

Logan looked at him. " soon I promise."

Apollo looked at his watch " I gotta go to another meeting. Tell Veronica I said hi." He said as he left.

Logan took out his phone and turned it on he saw a text and a voice mail from his wife. He read the text a simple I love you always and forever. Then he listed to the voice mail. He exhaled "of course it was for you." He said to himself.

Logan was so lost in his own world he didn't notice Wallace sit down at the table. "What was for me?" He said.

Logan looked at him and answered "sorry kinda in my own land. Veronica and I had a fight last night."

Wallace laughed it won't be the last time.

Logan laughed " what's going on with you?"

Wallace showed him the papers." Jackie signed them. I'm Here waiting on cliff. "

logan looked at Wallace"you sure your okay dude?"

Wallace smiled "I'm an ass but ya great. " Wallace replied and laughed at his brother in law. Then he continued "would it be wrong to ask out Parker?"

Logan shook his head no " do what makes you happy."

Wallace looked down "Piz is my friend."

Logan shrugged "okay and? Piz made his own choices. He's a big boy." he said as cliff came up to the table.

Cliff looked at Logan "how's veronica doing with testifying soon."

Logan smiled " she seems okay about it she's worried about her mom at the moment."

"Let her know we need to set up a time to practice." Cliff replied

Logan nodded and said " I have to go meet dick but I'll have Veronica call you about it."

Duncan

"Isabella! " Duncan called his wife who walked out of the bathroom

"what?" She asked

"I see we're still mad." Duncan replied

Isabella looked at him "no I'm freakin joyful."

Duncan signed as he was about to say Something but Celeste came in their room looking for Isabella. "Have you seen the papers this morning?"

Duncan looked at his mom. " no why would you care what they say. " he said startling his mother. She smiled they found the guy who hit Leann Mars." Then she looked at her Daughter in law with a death glare "he's talking but Their not releasing names yet."

Duncan smiled "thats great."

Isabella turned pale "ya great." .

Duncan looked in between his mom and wife who both look a little off. " sheriff mars isint like lamb. He actually gets the bad guys." When they didn't say anything he said " okay I'm going to find dad." And left the bedroom.

Celest and Isabella

Why did you hire that idiot? I told you this would blow up on us. Keith mars thinks he so smart. Celeste said angrily.

Isabella sat in on the bed "it's just a little set back. It's my word against a career criminal." She stuttered "they have no proof of anything. "

Celeste shook her head that daughter of his will figure something it out."

Isabella smiled smugly well then I'll have to push up my plan. They won't know what hit them. No one will get in my way of making mars pay for what happen to my sister."

Celeste just closed her eyes " I chose you for a reason. I figured that you wanted ravage as much as I do, But Logan will never cheat on her and Duncan won't turn on her. So what plan could you have?" She asked as Duncan came into the room again and celest started smiling once again excused herself. As she was leaving she looked at isabella " we will talk later."
