Chapter 17: Magic Tricks

Late that night in a Secret lair in his HQ, Shade was watching the large picture of Panik go up in flames and he sighed and replied, "Once again, he loses to the Shadows!"
Suddenly, Zander came in and replied, "Boss?"
Shade looked at him and replied, "What is it, Zander?"
Zander then replied, "If I win the duel against Jacob, can I get some of the cards Panik used? Since we did get the deck and all."
Shade then replied, "Deal and if you do lose, Jacob will be getting the rare cards for himself."
Zander nodded as left the room and he sighed and replied, "I do hope Jacob wipes the floor with that freak."
Suddenly, Slade came in and he replied, "Hey, dad."
Shade smiled at him and repleid, "Hi son."
"Who is next to duel?", his son asked.
Shade pointed at the next large picuture and he replied, "This guy dueled Yugi Muto and was banished. He used his star card..but it was more evil looking."
Slade then replied, "I read about him. He wanted to bring back his sweetheart Catherine after that failed magic trick almost killed him. Marik tricked him to working for him and that was pretty much his own fate."
Shade then replied, "That is the truth. He'll probably go after Ginny. She is a excellent Synchro duelist and he wanted to face a tough-to beat deck!"
Slade then replied, ."Well said, dad. Well said. So After Panik was defeated, did those two people get their souls back?"
Shade nodded and replied, "They should be good as new in about a 2 minutes, son."

Back at the hospital, 1 doctor and 2 nurses watched the lfieless bodies of the two people that lost their souls in a shadow duel.
The doctor then replied, "This is so wierd."
One of the nurses replied, "It sure is, Doctor Stevens. I really is."
Dr. Stevens sighed and replied, "Lets head on out and we'll check on them in the morning!"
As they were about to leave, they heard groans and they turned towards the happy couple and they slowly waking up!
One of the nurses then replied, "This is a miracle!"
Dr. Stevens walked to them and replied, "You both okay?"
Greg moaned and replied, "What happened to us?"
Liza then replied, "I am starving."
Dr. Stevens turned to the nurses and replied, "Get these two a late meal."
The nurses nodded as thet left and a confused Liza looked around the room and he replied, "How'd the heck did we ge here?"
Dr. Stevens then replied, "You were found in the park and the both of you were out cold. Your families haven notified and both are coming to see you tomorrow morning."
Liza moaned and replied, "They'll be more protective of us now."
Dr. Stevens smiled and replied, "I'll help you out with that too, kids. Just get some rest and you both should be released tomorrow morning after your folks sign the both of you out."
They nodded as they both went to sleep and Dr. Stevens sighed and replied, "You both are lucky to have your souls after losing them in a shadow game. Luckly, Panik was defeated by that Kelly girl to save your souls."
He slowly left the room.

That next day at Ginny's house, the gang was talking about that event that just happened.
Christina then replied, "I just got a phone call from the couple last night and they're happier then ever and doing just fine."
Ginny then repleid, "That is really. At least the souls were returned after Panik was defeated."
Kelly then repleid, "We can't rest now. We'll never know when they're sending out another shadow duelist for us!"
Ashley then replied, "We are monitoring the whole city right now. Would you lovely ladies like to stay the night? We have 2 extra rooms if you want to."
Kelly then replied, "Sure. But, can we call our families up first?"
Kevin nodded and replied, "That is no trouble at all, Kelly. You know where our phone is."

That following afternoon in the HQ once again, Shade and Slade were talking about stuff.
Shade then replied, "Did Arkana get the cards he wanted from us?"
Slade then replied, "Yes and he wanted some of the rarest cards in the damn game!"
Shade then replied, "How does he feel about going after Ginny?"
"He is okay with it, dad. He would duel anyone at anytime and he'll do just fine. He's a good duelist and shouldn't have any trouble crushing her Synchro deck."
Slade then replied, "Does he know when he wins to deliver those Stardust Dragon cards she has to us?"
"Told him that already."
"Good."
Suddenly, they heard a knocking and Shade replied, "Come on in!"
The door opened up and Bulldog was there..and he looked really pale and sick.
Slade then replied, "Okay, then."
Shade then replied, "What's wrong with you, Bulldog?"
Bulldog coughed and then he groaned and replied, "I might be catching the flu, sir. Can I have time off to get better?"
Shade then replied, "Of course you can, Bulldog. I'll have Rene and Nell bring you anything you need."
"Thank you, sir. Can you make sure Zander doesn't bother me when I sleep?"
Slade then replied, "That won't be a problem at all, Bulldog. I'll make sure he does leave you alone so you can better."
Bulldog then replied, "Thank you, sir."
He let out one more cough before leaving the room and Slade then replied, "He doesn't look good at all."
Shade then replied, "A few days of rest and time off will do him some good. Let the ladies know that they need to help him out."
Slade nodded as he got up from his chair and left the room and Shade then replied, "Rest up, Bulldog. I don't want you to miss Jacob dueling Zander."
Shade then replied, "I hope he does getter better soon. He's been one of the best members this army has ever had!"
Shade then replied, "I agree with you there, son."

Later that night in the apartment room, the girls were looking for something to watch on TV while eating some pizza that Kevin had made them.
Kelly then replied, "Your dad makes awesome pizza, Ginny."
Ginny smiled and replied, "He's actually a part-time chef for our group in the future. She knows how to make some good food."
A few seconds later, Ashley comes in with a plate of drinks and she replied, "Hot cocoa for you girls?"
The girls nodded as she sat the tray down and then Kevin came in and he sighed and replied, "The next Shadow duelist has been spotted."
Ginny turned to him and replied, "Where at, dad?"
"On the roof of our building right now. He only wants to duel you, Ginny."
Ginny then replied, "I'll smash him badly! My deck is all ready to go."
Christina then replied, "We are going too, girl."
Kelly nodded and repleid, "The more support the better for ya!"
Ginny smiled back and replied, "Lets go then!"

Back at the HQ, Slade and Shade were watching the roof of the upcoming duel.
Slade then replied, "How did you do this, dad?"
Shade smiled and replied, "One of our beasts went there undercover and installed a camera so we can watch the duel."
Slade then replied, "Cool. We'll be able to see the cards that Ginny uses!"
Shade then replied, "The cards will be blocked that she uses, but the ones our duelist uses will still be able to be seen."
Slade smiled and replied, "Good plan, dad."
"I thought so myself, son."

About 3 minutes later, they were all on the roof of the apartment building. It looked a minature park with benches everywhere and just in case a bad storm was coming in, the electrician of the building would activate the walls that would come up and protect the park from storms, The elevator opened up and the girls came out of it and Ginny replied, "Where are you?"
As the elevator closed up, they saw a robed duelist infront of them and he replied, "Ready for your demise, young lady?"
Ginny smiled and replied, "You're the only one that will be crushed, freak!"
As he began to laugh, the robe vanished into a cloud of purple smoke and he was wearing a purple tuxedo, a oversized bowtie with stripes, a large top hot and a large domino mask was covering his face and he had a classic Battle City Duel Disk on his arm as well.
Christina then replied, "That's Arkana!"
The man laughed and replied, "Damn right, young lady! I am Arkana, Master of Magicians and the true keeper of the Dark Magician!"
Kelly then replied, "You thought that yourself until Yugi kicked your ass in that duel!"
Arkana then replied, "Whatever. I'm back now and working for a new boss and I demand a duel with you, Ginny! Win, I'll hand over a rare card that will help your deck and if you lose, your soul is mine!"
Ginny sighed and replied, "If its enough to get rid of you, I accept your damn challenge, freak!"
Christina then replied, "As long as he doesn't have trimmed cards!"
He sighed and replied, "All of my cards are uncut. I'm not doing that same damn trick again!"
Ginny then replied, "Whatever you say, Arkana!"
As they both activated their disks and drew 5 cards apiece, the whole roof was covered in a huge cloud of purple and black fog.
Kelly sighed and replied, "Its a Shadow Game!"
Arkana laughed and replied, "It sure is, young lady!"
"Game on!", both yelled out.

Back in their apartment, Kevin and Ashley were watching the duel from their large TV the girls were using.
Ashley then replied, "Another damn shadow game."
Kevin put his arms around her and replied, "She'll be okay, dear. She's a tough duelist and she'll kick that clown's ass!"
Ashley smiled and replied, "I know she will."

Back at the duel, they were both ready to duel.
(Arkana LP: 8000 - Ginny LP: 8000)
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I summon my Axe Raider!"
As she sat the card down, the axe-using warrior appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Lets do it. Slice and Dice!"
The warrior went and a dark clown appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and was cut in two with the axe struck it and then Arkana smiled and replied, "When Peten the Dark Clown is destroyed in battle, I can banish it to special summon another from my deck!"
Suddenly, another of the dark clowns appeared (DEF 1,200).
"I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I activate the continious spell card Arcane Barrier!"
The spell card appeared.
"You'll see what it does later, I now play Arrival of the Wizard! This allows me to add a level 4 or lower spellcaster from my deck to my hand!"
He took a monster from his deck and placed it in his hand and then he replied, "I now summon my Skilled Dark Magician!"
As he sat the card down, the skilled dark mage appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Attack her warrior!"
The warrior fired a burst of dark energy, blowing Axe Raider to shards (Ginny LP: 8000 - 7800).
"You won't beat me, kid! I'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I Summon my Breaker the Magical Warrior!"
As she sat the card down, the magical warrior appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 1,900).
"I'll get rid of his spell counter to destroy your facedown card!"
He swung his sword (ATK: 1,900 - 1,600) and a wave of magical energy shot out and cleaved her facedown Scrap-Iron Scarecrow in two pieces.
"Time for a magic show! Skilled Dark Magician, attack!"
The spellcaster fired a burst of energy and somesort of blue dino-like bird appeared on the card (DEF: 900) and the bird got out of the way and she replied, "You have to attack Sonic Wing twice to destroy it, fool!"
"I will do that then! Breaker, attack!"
The warrior went in and struck the creature and it burst into a cloud of blue feathers.
"You may of gotten lucky there, but I'll still beat you! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I activate Tuning!"
She took a card from her deck and added it to her hand and then she took top card of her deck and discarded it and then she replied, "I now summon my Junk Synchron!"
As she down, the ripcord tuner appeared (ATK: 1,300).
"I use his ability to get my Shield Wing back!"
As she played the card, the winged-beast appeared (DEF: 900).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
As the tuner pulled his ripcord, it split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and they went through Shield Wing, which turned into 2 white stars. As this happened, Ginny raised her hands and began to chant:
"Clustering stars will call upon a new force! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Show yourself, Junk Warrior!"
As she sat the card down, the recycled Synchro appeared (ATK: 2,300).
Christina then replied, "Good going!"
"Now, smash his Skilled Dark Magician!"
The Synchro went in and gave a hard punch, blowing the spellcaster to pieces (Arkana LP: 8000 - 7600) and then a small orb of light appeared around the spell.
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I'll switch Breaker to defense and that'll be all for me!"
Ginny drew a card and replied, "Junk Blader, come on out!"
As he sat the card down, the junky warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Junk Warrior, attack!"
The warrior went and punched Breaker in the stomach and he let out a groan before he shattered into pieces.
"Blader, attack!"
The warrior went in and and cut the 2nd Peten in twain with one hard swipe of his sword and then two more orbs appeared next to the other one.
"I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "Time for you to meet the star of my show! I now play Ancient Rules to summon my deck's star!"
As he played the spell card, the twisted parody of the more kind Dark Magician appeared and he had a red robe, white hair and a crazied twisted look on his face (ATK: 2,500).
Christina groaned and replied, "What a freak."
"Since that was a special summon, I normal summon my Crusader of Endymion!"
As he sat the card down, a blue robed spellcaster appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I now play Double Summon to Gemini Summon him!"
Suddenly, he was covered in a red glow.
"I use his ability now to give one spell counter to any card I control and when I do, he gains 600 attack until the end phase!"
As a 4th counter appeared on the spell card, he began to glow (ATK: 1,900 - 2,500).
"Let the show begin! Crusader, attack!"
The spellcaster's arms began to glow and then it launched a huge wave of magic energy that shot out and struck, blowing Junk Blader into a pile of burning metal.
"Now Dark Magician, attack that Junk Warrior with Dark Magic Attack!"
The evil spellcaster laughed evily as he aimed his scepter and fired a huge burst of dark energy, blasting Junk Warrior to pieces (Ginny LP: 7800 - 6900).
Arkana laughed and replied, "Take that, little girl! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Suddenly, the crusaders glow died down (ATK: 2,500 - 1,900).
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I equip my Dark Magician with Dark Spear!"
Suddenly, the scepter began to glow until a long spear appeared.
"My mage can now do piercing damage! But first, I summon my Ebon Magician Curran!"
As he sat the card down, a cute child wearing black bunny ears appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"Next, I send my Arcane Barrier away with my Curran to draw a card for each spell counter it had!"
As the young spellcaster looked at him and gave him the dirty bird, she vanished and he drew 4 cards and then replied, "Thats better now! I now attack your facedown monster with my Dark Magician!"
The spellcaster aimed his spear and fired a huge burst of dark energy and it shot out and a large red metal gear appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) before the blast blew it to pieces (Ginny LP: 6900 - 5400) and she smiled and replied, "When Synchron Gear is flipped, I can add a special kind of tuner from my deck to my hand!"
He took a monster from his deck and added it to his hand and then he replied, " Crusader, attack!"
The spellcaster aimed his hand and launched a wave of energy and then she quickly replied, "I activate Junk Defenders effect to special summon it and then I'll give it 300 defense points as well!"
Suddenly, the bulky warrior appeared (DEF: 1,800 - 2,100) as the blast shot out and reflected off its body (Arkana LP: 7600 - 7400) and he replied, "Doesn't matter at all right now! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I discard 1 card to summon my Quickdraw Synchron!"
As she discarded a card, the cute robot cowboy appeared (ATK: 700).
"I now reduce his level by 1 to special summon my Level Eater!"
As the tuner began to glow (LV: 5 - 4), a small ladybug with a level star on its back appeared (ATK; 600).
"I now tune all 3 of my monsters together!"
The tuner fired two shots into the air as it split into 4 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Level Eater and Junk Defender, who turned into a total of 4 white stars as well.
"I Synchro Summon..Quickdraw Warrior!"
As she sat the card down, a robot-like cowboy appeared and it was a silver-skinned cyborg with a cowboy hat, shirt, pants and spurred boots and it had 2 rifles for weapons (ATK: 2,500).
Kelly then replied, "I never heard of this guy."
Ginny smield and replied, "After Yusei saved the world from Z-One many a year ago, Industral Illusions made some new Synchros for his use only and then a year or so later, he asked for them to be released to the public and they where. When Quickdraw Warrior is Synchro Summoned, I banish 1 tuner in my graveyard and all of your monsters loses ATK equal to the level of the monster times 200!"
As she took Quickdraw Synchro and banished it, both mages let out groans (ATK: 2,500 - 1,500) - (ATK: 1,900 - 900).
Christina smiled and replied, "Yea, baby!"
"Now, blow away his Dark Magician!"
The wizard gulped as he aimed the two rifles and he fired a barrage of bullets, which struck the mage in the stomach. The crazied monster let out a groan before he exploded into black globules (Arkana LP: 7400 - 6400).
"Now I use his ability and I gain lifepoints equal to the level of the monster times 300!"
She began to glow (Ginny LP: 5400 - 8500).
Christina smiled and replied, "Yea baby."
Kelly then replied, "That guy is strong."
Ginny smiled and replied, "Take that! I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I switch Crusader to defense postion and then I'll set a new monster facedown and I'll set a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I summon my Gearfried!"
As she sat the card down, the iron knight appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack!"
Gearfried went and struck with his mighty sword, blowing Crusader of Endymion to shards.
"Attack!"
The Synchro fired two shots and a Appentice Magician appeared (ATK: 600) and was blown into fragments as the bullets struck her down (Ginny LP: 8500 - 9100) and then another facedown monster appeared.
"I guess I'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I flip my facedown monster!"
As he did so, Mystic Seer appeared (ATK: 100) and he drew 2 cards and then he took another (A 2nd Skilled Dark Magician) and placed at the bottom and then he smiled at what he had in his hand and he replied, "I tribute my Crystal Seer to summon a new ally of my Dark Magician!"
As the seer vanished, everyone couldn't believe at what they saw! All 3 of them saw pictures of the Dark Magician Girl, but this one looked just like Arkana's Dark Magican and it wore a dark red robe, had white hair and a crazied & insane look like Arkana's Dark Magician had (ATK: 2,000).
Christina sighed and replied, "She's gone from good..to totally insane!"
Kelly then repleid, "Damn, that is harsh."
Arkana then replied, "When I was defeated by Yugi's Dark Magician Girl and when I was brought back, I asked for 2 copies of this card from my new master but with my Dark Magician's image on her and it was no problem for her. Since my Dark Magician is in my graveyard, she gains 300 more attack points!"
She let out a laugh (ATK: 2,000 - 2,300).
"With that settled, I now equip her with Magic Formula!"
Suddenly, she began to read a large spellbook (ATK: 2,300 - 3,000).
"Attack his Quickdraw Warrior!"
She aimed her scepter and fired a huge burst of magic energy from and it shot out and the Synchro was blasted to pieces.
Arkana laughed and replied, "With that settled, I activate my facedown Dark Burning Attack trap card! If I negate all battle damage he just did, you now take damage equal to your monsters current attack points!"
Suddenly, Ginny let out a small groan (Ginny LP: 9100 - 6600).
Arkana laughed and replied, "This will be a easy win for me! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I activate my facedown card, The Transmigration Prophecy! I return your Dark Magician to your deck and I'll return my Quickdraw Synchron to mine!"
Arkana growled as he added the card to his deck (DMG ATK: 3,000 - 2,700) and then she added a card to her deck and then she replied, "I'll switch Gearfried to defense postion and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I summon my Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer!"
As he sat the card down, the bold monk appeared while chanting (ATK: 1,800).
"Time to battle! Dark Magician Girl, attack his Gearfried!"
She let out a evil laugh as she launched her magical attack, blasting Gearfied into little pieces.
Kycoo, attack!"
He began to chant louder and then a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and Kycoo let out two small beams of darkness from his eyes and it shot out and vaporized the jar and both discarded their current hands and drew 5 cards apiece and he laughed and replied, "Desperate for cards, little girl? I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I need any cards I can get, you freak! I discard 1 card to summon The Tricky!"
As she discarded a card, the odd spellcaster appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I now summon my Changer Synchron!"
As she sat the card down, a small robot with metal wings appeared (ATK: 0).
"I now equip Changer with Synchro Boost!"
Suddenly, the little machine began to glow (ATK: 0 - 500 - LV: 1 - 2).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
The small machine flew into the air as it split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through The Tricky, whiched turned into 5 white stars as well.
"I Synchro Summon..Lightning Warrior!"
As she sat the card down, the Synchro warrior covered in electricity appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Since I used Changer Synchron in a Synchro Summon, one of your monsters changes postion!"
Suddenly, the evil Dark Magician girl knelt (DEF: 1,700).
"I now play Giant Trunade!"
Suddenly, the equip card and the facedown card vanished and reappeared in his hand.
"Now, attack!"
The Synchro went and punched the magician and she let out a weak cry before the electricity got to much for and she dissolved into dark particles.
"Now you take 300 damage for each card in your hand and I see 6!"
Suddenly, he let out a loud groan (Arkana LP: 6400 - 4600).
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I now play Hand Destruction!"
As he played the card, he took a Mystical Elf and Dark Formula from his hand and discarded both and then Ginny took her Quiltbolt Hedgehog and a Speed Bird and discarded them both and then both drew 2 cards and he replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and switch Kycoo to defense and I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll have Lightning Warrior, attack!"
The warrior went and launched a burst of electricity, blowing Kycoo to atoms and he quickly replied, "I activate Damage Polarizer to protect my lifepoints!"
Both drew a card as the trap activard and she sighed and replied, "No big deal at all. I'll set a card and replied, "
"I now flip my facedown monster up!"
As he did so, a Summoner Monk appeared and then he quickly knelt (DEF: 1,600) and then he replied, "I now discard another spell card to the graveyard!"
As he discarded a Book of the Secret Arts to the graveyard, a 2nd Breaker appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now play Silent Doom!"
Suddenly, Mystical Elf appeared (DEF: 2,000).
"I now overlay my 3 Level 4 Spellcasters!"
All 3 monsters turned into black orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"With these monsters, I construct the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now..Alchemic Magician!"
As she sat the card down, a young teenaged mage with white & black hair appeared and she had a insane look on her face and she wore a red and black robe as well (ATK: 1,500).
Christina sighed and replied, "He turned this one evil too. She usually has green hair and usually wears a green outfit."
"She looks better this way! Also, she gains 200 ATK for each Spell Card in my graveyard!"
She let out a wicked laugh (ATK: 1,500 - 3,100).
Christina then replied, "Not good at all."
"Now, attack his Lightning Warrior!"
She let out a laugh as a green jeweled scepter out of her pocket and she fired a burst of dark energy and Lightning Warrior exploded into a shower of sparks as it struck him down (Ginny LP: 6600 - 5900).
Arkana laughed and replied, "Take that, little girl! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "Your moves won't beat me! I activate her Xyz ability and I remove 1 Xyz Material monster and discarded 1 card!"
As he removed the Mystical Elf and discarded a 2nd Arcane Barrier to his graveyard (ATK: 3,100- 3,300), a facedown card appeared..
"I can set a facedown spell card from my deck to my side of the field!"
Ginny smiled and replied, "Too bad you won't be using it! I activate Dust Tornado!"
Suddenly, the dust storm began and his facedown Forbidden Chalice lifted up and shattered to bits (ATK: 3,300 - 3,500) and Arkana growled and replied, "You dirty brat! I now summon my Famillar Possessed - Dharc!"
As he sat the card downa, dark spellcaster appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Lets do it. Dharc, attack!"
The spellcaster fired a burst of dark energy that shot and a Skelengel appeared on the card (DEF: 500) before the attack atomized it and then she drew a card.
"Alchemic Magican, attack!"
The spellcaster fired a burst of energy from her scepter and a Dandylion appeared on the card (DEF: 300) before it was atomized as well and then two poppy seed tokens appeared (DEF: 0 x2).
"My Alchemic Magician is still one of the strongest cards on the field still! I'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I time to summon a new monster I just added! I tribute one of my tokens to summon my White-Horned Dragon!"
As one of the tokens vanished, a large red-skinned dragon with a white horn appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"When he's Normal or special summoned, I can banish up to 5 spell cards from your deck!"
Arkana growled as his Forbidden Chalice, Magic Formula, Silent Doom, Dark Spear and Arcane Barrier cards appeared dissolved into particles (ATK: 3,500 - 2,500) and she smiled and replied, "My monster gains 300 attack for each one banished!"
The dragon let out a roar (ATK: 2,200 - 3,700).
"Now roast his Alchemic Magician!"
The huge dragon opened its mouth and launched a wave that shot out and reduced the mighty Xyz to ashes (Arkana LP: 4600 - 3400).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I'll switch Dharc to defense postion and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I tribute my other token for my Junk Dragonlet!"
as the token vanished, a large dragon made of junk with many long metal arms appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Time to battle! Dragonlet, attack!"
The machine shot its arms out and they struck, blowing Dharc to little pieces.
"My true dragon attacks now!"
The dragon let out a burst of flames and a Old Vintege Magician appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and was roasted as the flames struck.
Ginny groaned and replied, "Damn it!"
Suddenly, White-Horned Dragon exploded into shards and she growled and replied, "Damn you! I end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I play the ritual spell card Black Magic Ritual!"
Suddenly, the dark altar appeared.
"For the offering, I offer my Choas Command Magician and another Apprentice Magician!"
As the two mages appeared and vanished with the altar, the mighty Magician of Black Choas appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Christina the replied, "Damn."
Kelly then replied, "A very powerful monster."
"Now, attack her monster with Choas Scepter Blast!"
He swung his staff and launched a burst of dark enegy and the machine shattered into pieces of broken metal as the magic burst struck it down (Ginny LP: 5900 - 5200).
Arkana laughed and replied, "You can't beat me! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I summon another Skilled Dark Magician!"
As he sat the card down, the skilled mage appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do it. Skilled Dark Magician, attack!"
He aimed his scepter and fired a dark burst of magic energy and a Junk Foward appeared on the card (DEF: 1,500) and was blown to pieces as the attack struck it.
"Magician of Black Choas, attack this brat directly!"
He aimed his staff and fired a another large of dark energy and it shot out and struck Ginny down (Ginny LP: 5200 - 2400).
Arkana laughed and replied, "My Magicians will vaporize you quickly! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I Play Treasured Cards from Heaven!"
Both drew until both had 6 cards in their hands and then she replied, "There we go. I drop 800 lifepoints to play Wicked Rebirth!"
As she let out a moan of pain (Ginny LP: 2400 - 1600) Junk Warrior appeared (ATK: 2,300).
"I now summon my Turbo Synchron!"
As she sat the card down, the small robot tuner appeared (ATK: 100).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
Turbo Synchron split into 1 white star, which turned into a couple of green rings and the rings went through Junk Warrior, who turned into 5 white stars. As this happened, Ginny raised her hands and began to chant:
"Clustering stars weave a greater force! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Roar engines, Turbo Warrior!"
As she sat the card down, the car-like Warrior appeared with its sharp claws (ATK: 2,500).
Christina smield and replied, "Too cool."
Arkana laughed and replied, "Good try, but its 300 attack points weaker then my monster!"
"Turbo Warrior, attack his monster!"
The Synchro went in towards the magician...
Kelly then replied, "Is she nuts?"
As she quickly banished a card from her graveyard, the Synchro slashed him with its clawed hand and he exploded into a fiery burst of black flames & smoke (Arkana LP: 3400 - 2900) and Arkana then replied, "How did you do that?"
Ginny smiled and replied, "Remember my Junk Dragonlet? I only had to banish it and then it gave my Synchro 800 more attack until the end phase! My turn is now over."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Skilled Dark Magician to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I summon my Blue Flame Swordsman!"
As she sat the card down, the blue-flamed warrior appeared (ATK; 1,800).
"Lets do it. Swordsman, attack!"
The warrior swung his blade and a wave of blue flames shot out and Skilled Dark Magician was incinerated in a instant.
"Turbo Warrior, attack!"
The warrior charged in and a 2nd Summoner Monk appeared on the card (DEF: 1,600) before the Synchro slashed with its claw and then the spellcaster shattered into triangles.
"I guess I'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "TIme to summon the strongest card I own, besides my Dark Magicians! First, I play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, his Dark Magician appeared with that insane look (ATK: 2,500).
"Next, I summon my Versago the Destroyer!"
As he sat the card down, a wicked fiend appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I now play Fusion Sage!"
He took a Polyermerization from his deck and placed it in his hand and then he reshuffled his deck and then he replied, "I play Polymerization to fuse my Dark Magician with my Versago and he'll be taking the form of Summoned Skull!"
As the fiend turned into a image of Summoned Skull, both merged together and the result was a really distrubing spellcaster. It was his red Dark Magician, but now he had two large wings sticking out of his back and he still had the scepter for a weapon and undeneath his robe was a skeleton-like body with the same insane look Arkana's Dark Magician gave (ATK: 2,900)!
"Meet the mighty Skull Warlock!"
Christina then replied, "Creepy and I've never heard of this fusion before!"
Kelly then replied, "Me neither, girl."
Ginny sighed and replied, "I have and only 15 copies were ever made. He must a got one from the Beasts!"
"That is right, young lady! I now use one of his abilites and that allow me to take one banished Spell Card and shuffle it back into my deck!"
He took his Forbidden Chalice and shuffled it back into his deck and then he replied, "
"I'll attack your Turbo Warrior now!"
Suddenly, the wings and scepter of the mighty Dark Magican began to glow and then it launched a huge burst of dark energy from its scepter and it shot out smashed the Synchro to pieces (Ginny LP: 1600 - 1200).
Arkana laughed and replied, "This will end soon! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Swordsman to defense postion and then I'll set a new monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Arkana drew a card and replied, "I now play his other ability! I can banish up to 3 spells from my graveyard and he gets 300 attack for each one!"
As he took his Polyermerization, Fusion Sage and Monster Reborn and banished them, he let out a wicked laugh (ATK: 2,900 - 3,800).
"I now equip my Skull Warlock with my Fairy Meteor Crush!"
Suddenly, his scepter began to glow.
Christina gulped and replied, "If he attacks her swordsman, this duell will end now."
Kelly then replied, "Stay Strong."
"Next, I summon my 2nd Dharc!"
As he sat the card down, another of the dark charmers appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Lets do it. Dharc, attack!"
She aimed her scepter and fired a burst of energy and a Nitro Synchron appeared on the card (DEF: 100) before the energy vaporized it.
"This ends now! Attack her Swordsman...NOW!"
The spellcaster aimed his scepter and fired a huge burst of dark energy and it shot out towards the warrior.
"Please, don't let this be the end!", Christina begged.
Ginny quickly replied, "I'm not going down THAT easily! I activate Half Unbreak! My monster stay's safe and I only take half of the battle damage!"
Suddenly, a wall of bubbles appeared and the magic burst popped all of them (Ginny LP: 1200 - 100).
Christina then replied, "That was close."
Kelly then replied, "Damn right it was."
Arkana laughed and replied, "Next turn you are finished! I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I play Tuning!"
As she discarded the top card of his deck, she took another monster from her deck and added it to her hand and then she replied, "I summon my 2nd Junk Synchron!"
As she sat the card down, the ripcord tuner appeared for a 2nd time (ATK: 1,300).
"I use his ability to once again get my Shield Wing!"
Suddenly, the winged-beast appeared (ATK: 0).
"Next, I discard my Silent Strider to decrease my Swordsmans level from 4 to 3!"
As she discarded the card, the large bug appeared and flew into the warrior (LV: 4 - 3).
"I now tune my 3 monsters together!"
As the tuner pulled his ripcord, it split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and they went through Shield Wing and Blue Flame Swordsman, which turned into a total of 5 white stars. As this happened, Ginny raised her arms and began to chant:
"Gathering fighting souls will awaken the raging wicked god! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Obliterate, Junk Destroyer!"
As she sat the card down, another of the Junk Synchros appeared (ATK: 2,600).
Kelly then replied, "Awesome monster, girl!"
Ginny smiled and replied, "For each non-tuner monster I used to Synchro Summon him, you lose a card!"
The mighty Synchro opened his hands and a wave of sharp blades came out and sliced into the Spellcasters, blasting them both into pixels.
"Next, I tribute him for my Turret Warrior!"
As the Synchro vanished, a rocky warrior with turrets on its shoulders appeared (ATK: 1,200 - 3,800).
Arkana then replied, "No, I can't lose!"
"You just did, freak! Turret Warrior, END THIS!"
The Synchro went and punched the evil magician, finishing him off (Arkana LP: 2900 - 0).
Ginny smiled and replied, "Thats game, freak!"
Suddenly, he burst into a cloud of black smoke and then shadowy dome vanished as well, returning them both to the real world.
Christina then replied, "That takes out another one!"
Ginny yawned and replied, "Time for bed."
The girls nodded as the went towards the door that would lead them back to bed."

Dark Spear / Equip Spell Card

Equip only to "Dark Magician" and when the equipped monster card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent.
Note: This card was used by Atem in the final Yugioh Episode "The Final Duel (Part 4)" and creative credit goes to the writers of that episode.

Dark Burning Attack / Normal Trap Card

"Dark Magician" + "Summoned Skull"
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is destroyed in battle: Once per turn You can activate one of the following effects:
- You can banish up to 3 spell cards in your graveyard to increase this cards ATK By 300 for each banished card until the end phase of the turn.
- Once per turn you can select 1 spell card you have banished and shuffle it back into your deck.
