Hey everyone, happy Friday. Finally! I've been waiting for this chapter to be updated because this is the moment I've, and I'm sure you as well, have been waiting for. The moment we have been waiting for. And what luck I found for a soundtrack from the Spiderman movie amd I nearly dropped dead in heaven to it. The link is watch?v=iOv0T_zfaDI. Let me introduce to you all the Amazing Spiderman!

Chapter 12: Who Are You, Spiderman?

Sunlight broke through the clear blue autumn sky stretching over Ninjago City. But within the city itself, an alarm rang from a small store with two thieves racing out with a backpack filled with stolen currency they recently stole. The two companions shoved past people aside as they charged down the crowded streets to flee from the police before they arrived and fled into an alley. They felt they were in the clear until they glanced up at the rooftops to see flashes of red and white racing along and kept running until they had to skid to a stop as they struck into a dead end. They looked around but couldn't find an alternative escape route to turn and gulp as two sets of feet landed to greet them.

Kai had his sword drawn out and rested on his shoulder with his other hand rested on his hip. He shook his head while rolling his chocolate brown eyes to the two crooks. He seemed annoyed at first, because it wasn't any Serpentine tribe. But still crime doesn't pay. Neither should he to let them get away with it. "Well what do we have here, Zane?" he asked with his voice muffled under the fabric of his mask. "Simple petty theft?"

Zane had his arms crossed over his chest with a shuriken tucked underneath his arm while rolling his dark blue eyes to agree with the fire ninja. This seemed silly at first, but as Sensei Wu says, evil never sleeps, neither do you. "It appears to be so, Kai." he nodded. "Shall we capture them and give them to the authorities or just scare them off after they give back what they stole? Your call."

"I'm thinking. I'm thinking." the fire ninja pondered while tapping his chin.

The two thieves gulped to their fate at the hands of two of the ninjas, but their ears perked as they heard something. The two ninja heard something as well and glanced over their shoulders to watch something in red and blue zip past them and quickly turned as the thieves screamed as something struck them to be pulled up from the ground and soon dangled by their legs from...webs? Kai and Zane were stunned to what they just happened in front of their very eyes to blink a couple of time and have the backpack of stolen currency land next to their feet and watch their unknown assailant swing away acrobatically from the webs he fired. "What the heck?" both exclaimed in surprise and looked at each other.

The engine roared as it took pursuit after a robbed armored vehicle with police blaring their sirens behind. Lucas had his black gloved hands gripped tightly to the joysticks of one of the vehicles he and the team use for transportation since there were more to the team and carefully weaved his way through traffic to catch and stop the criminals. His hazel grey eyes were narrowed as he pursued closer and closer to the bank truck that was stolen from the bank. He watched the truck crash through the tight traffic of Ninjago City and quickly evaded the smaller car that almost crashed into him and his cousins inside. He ignored Laurie nearly screaming to the nearly crash in the passenger seat but smirked to Lloyd's excitement in the back seat behind him. "Get him, Lucas!" the green ninja shouted. "You almost had them!"

"Almost there..." the grey ninja muttered while concentrating the perfect timing and saw the open street the truck took. He saw his chance to push both joysticks forward to hear the engine whine as it accelerate and collided to the back of the truck. The three ninjas inside heard tires screeching and swerve as the water ninja started to lose control with the truck and his vehicle to quickly pull back to gain his control and watch the truck regain its control. He growled and pushed the joysticks to make another charge. Suddenly something struck onto his windshields to have all three ninjas scream and Lucas pulled back to have the tires screeching to a halt. The engine hissed and the canopy hatch slid open with the seats rising and all three watched a large web being spun by a figure on top of the truck and was immediately stopped once it was caught. "What in the world!?" the grey ninja shouted and watched the figure in red and blue swing away from the strings of webs he conjured. "What the heck?"

A large smile formed on the smaller ninja's face under his mask to what he witnessed and turned to his sister and cousin with excitement. It was almost like what he would read in his comic books. It was a comic book in reality than a color paperback book. The smile grinned widely on his face and turned to watch the new person swing away. "Did you see that!?" he exclaimed. "He just came out of nowhere and created that web and swing away! How awesome is that!?"

Surprised indeed, Lucas and Laurie their heads to the vehicle that was stolen dangle on the large web like it was a bug and soon surrounded by police. What was that? And how was that web created from a human? Was he even a man or a mutant? Also, who was he?

The dirt scuffed and churned as rushing feet ran over it to kick up small clouds of dust. Labored breathing started increasing as the sound of strong feet land behind the two skeleton warriors to notify to push themselves harder. Panic clouded their minds as they weren't equipped with weapons to begin with and felt in danger to their solo pursuer. The two skeletons generals, Kruncha and Nuckal, glance over their shoulders to gasp and pushed themselves harder even more. Unaware the two were greeted with a brick wall to crash into and slumped to the dirt ground.

Pain raked through their bony, armored bodies, to groan and feel their bones pop back into place as some felt dislocated while pulling themselves up. Nuckal realized his skull was facing the opposite direction and grabbed a hold on his head to twist it back into place. Kruncha to sigh to him and clubbed him on the head to hear him cry out a bit and braced himself as his comrade tackled him to fight. But both immediately stopped to turn stiff as the sound of approaching footsteps to turn and back themselves to the wall as the black ninja approached. And both looked scared as he didn't look amused to their presence.

Cole casually walked down the alley with the handle of his scythe resting on his shoulders with his hands resting on top. The sharp crescent blade rolled as he played with his weapon while giving the two skeletons a blank stare. "Why am I not surprised?" he wondered, bored. Bored, the earth ninja rolled his amber eyes to snort. "Really?" he huffed. "It has to be you two. I was hoping for more action, but nope I get you the Undead Dynamic Duo. Not to mention my partner ran off somewhere, dang it Jay." He noticed the two warriors started to look unfazed or not frightened to his approach. He smirked as now they would think of fighting. "Now we can do this two ways. Easy or the hard way. Easy, for me to scare you and run off to burrow your heads in the sand. Hard is where you two can come and fight me. But we know who the winner will be no matter what. Me. So what will it be?"

The two generals began to growl in anger and annoyed to the black ninja's coy and ignorance to huff. "How about a third option?" Kruncha stated. "Where we just kill you on the spot with our bare hands." They heard the earth ninja laugh to the amusement and both charged. And soon the Ninja of Earth charged as well with his weapon raised.

Just as Cole was about to perform Spinjitzu on the two skeletons, something flashed on the corner of his eye to turn and saw something white and clear sprout out and squawked as it struck him and slammed him into a brick wall. He groaned as his head felt clubbed to see stars forming in his eyes and shook his head clear to wash the nauseous away to groan more. He glanced down to blink as an unknown web had his limbs pinned against the wall looked at Kruncha and Nuckal as they looked confused as he was. He glanced past his feet to see his scythe on the ground to gulp.

Kruncha gazed at the weapon on the ground to chuckle and picked it up to stare at the reflection on the curved blade and turned to his comrade who jumping excitedly. He then gave him a quick smack on the head to spin his head on his shoulder and Nuckal grabbed his skull to stop it and his one red eye still spin. "Quit being such a numb skull." he grimaced. Cole had to roll his eyes while shaking his head to this. "Now then," the skeleton continued and turned to the black haired teen. "It looks like we'll take option one, Easy. Since now you're trapped like a fly, we'll end your life." Cole gulped to this now as the blade was raised above his head. "I close my eyes if I were you." The earth ninja had to comply and squeezed his eyes shut while turning away.

THWIP!

"What the!?" Kruncha shouted.

Cole heard the shout and opened his eyes to see a strand of thread of silk had his scythe caught and dangled on the thread. He heard more strands of what that was to turn his head to watch someone swing from building to building from something erupting from his hands and landed in front of them. The black ninja stared at the figure weirdly as he was dressed in a red and blue spandex costume that included a mask with wide triangular white eyes that looked angered. The red colors covered most of his upper body, forearms, hands, and mid-calves to his feet. The blue covered his sides, under arms, legs from the waist down to his mid-calves above the red, and possibly his back. And to top it off, black lines of a single spun web started from the center of his face and only covered the red areas of his body. And on the center of his chest was an insignia of a black spider with four legs on his pectoral muscles and the back legs stretched down to his abdominal muscles. Cole stared at the masked figure weirdly still to raise a bushy brow. Who was this person?

The masked figure stretched his arms out to see the form fitting fabric shift to his movement and crossed his arms over his chest to give them a hard stare with his white triangular crescent shaped eyes. He noticed the black ninja kept staring at him oddly to roll his head since his eyes were hidden. "Relax." he said with his voice being muffled. "I bet you have questions like who am I and what I'm doing, but I'll get to that in a minute. I just want a quick talk with these two that's all."

The earth ninja still gave him the mysterious person a weird glance and struggled to escape the sticky threads that had his limbs pinned to the wall but sighed as it was no use. It was like he was tied up by extra sticky and strength duct tape. He huffed with the skeletons as they figured they were agreeing together. He may have a concussion now but could tell their thoughts. "Who are you?" he asked.

"Like I said, I'll get to that part." the figured exclaimed. "Now where was I? Oh yeah. Now I'm not one for introductions much. But with you alone, I felt like I had to spread the word after the others saw me today."

"Others?" Cole stated. "You mean my team?"

The figure nodded while pacing in a small circle. "Yeah those guys." he said. "Now that I met you, I should introduce myself. The name is Sp-" He heard the battle cries of the skeletons to sigh while rolling his head to show he was rolling his eyes. "Hold that thought, will ya?" He charged at them quickly.

Cole watched as the figured charged at his two skeletons and jumped over them and landed on the wall above him. Only not that he realized the figure didn't jump back, but was sticking onto the wall by his fingers and toes and hung upside down in a crouch. "What are you!?" he screamed for an answer. But he was ignored and watch himself leap toward the surprised skeletons to duck and threw quick attacks of his own. Surprised that he was quick and agile on his feet to fight the skeletons. Cole continued to pull against the web that had him pinned to growl and slowly heard the threads snapping little by little. He quickly glanced up to watch the figure stand in the middle of the skeletons to duck and crossed his wrists and pressed two of his fingers into his palms. The Ninja of Earth gasped as he watched two threads of silk fired from his wrists to catch the breast plates of armor. And with a strong tug, the two skeletons lurched forward and collided heads to slump to the ground and groan.

Cole was now more surprised to the figure with the weird powers to finally pull himself free from his bonds and walked over to him as he tsked with his tongue at the skeletons. "Now will you tell me who the heck you are before I pound you in the face!?" he demanded through his teeth.

The figure turned to him while rolling his head. "You know who I am." he exclaimed. He noticed Cole giving the odd look saying. I do? "I'm your friendly neighborhood Spiderman!" He then gave a childish laugh to quickly fire some webbing at Cole's wrist to pin it against a dumpster and fired another one to a building ledge to pull on it and launched himself like a rubber band to be high and fired another one to swing away.

Cole growled and pulled on the threads that had his wrist trapped to the metal dumpster, but it wouldn't budge. He didn't know how he managed to free himself before, but growled to pull harder. And he even glared at the figure, Spiderman, as he swung away. How did he get those powers in the first place? What was his purpose? And finally. "Who are you, Spiderman?" he wondered.

*Adrenaline pumped through Jay's veins as he raced across the rooftops of Downtown Ninjago City with a huge grin on his face. Pigeons scattered to his approach as he ran on the ledge of a building that was probably sixty stories high or higher to laugh and jumped while twisting his body into a dive. The wind howled in his ears with the sound of cloth flapping across his back as he pivot his body into a narrow dive with his arms angling out as if he was a hawk swooping down to carefully maintain his speed. Once he felt that it was a perfect moment, he quickly raised his right hand out to place his third and fourth finger into his palm with the others extending out to feel the small tickle in his wrist to fire a stream of sticky silk strands to a building. He felt the torque of speed as the end caught a building and gripped the other end tightly with both hands to start swinging. The blue ninja had to either laugh or chirp a cheer after each swing he done.

It was exhilarating.

The wind still howled in his ears as he swung from a new building to a new building. The swinging had reminded him on how it was like a roller coaster after each swing up and down. He reduced his velocity as he hung in the air and regained his maximum velocity as he swung down. He could even increase his speed if needed to by straightening his legs like if it was a swing set. He knew he had the key points to it now.

The lightning ninja was laughing as he swung far close to the busiest road in the downtown area of Ninjago City to carefully weave past the cars that were merging into the lanes from the traffic. He felt his senses tingling as he swung into an intersection to catch a glimpse of a semi-truck driving and nearing into him closely. In an instant reaction, he quickly fired a web in the center of his peripheral vision and another to a street light to pull tightly and spun his body between the tight space of the cab and trailer and fixed his body to fire a new strand to gain altitude to swing back up. After that, he had another chirp and cheer to the fun he was having with the adrenaline pumping. This was exhilarating no matter what he done to each swing. It was always something new. Much better than when being a ninja and not Spiderman.

As he swung he could hear the people below him gasping to his approach but shrugged it as they'll know him eventually. He kept giving out chirps of joy as he swung to the fun he was in. He always dreamed of being a superhero like when he told his uncle, it finally came true. Better than a Mr. Fix-it idea he had. Spiderman was way better. He fired both wrists to pull on them and launced himself to gain altitude to give out another chirp. He wondered if his friends were jealous when he introduced himself to them and stealing their thunder instantly. Probably not...yet. He'll see it one day if they're jealous. Right now, he was going to have his fun as the solo hero as the Amazing Spiderman. Catchy name he loved.

The blue ninja continued to climb himself by his web swinging and then brought his feet together to feel momentum increase and flew as he lets go of his strand. He spotted a small water tower on the rooftop of a building to fire a new strand on the ledge to pull on it tightly to swing himself over to chirp another cheer to the fun. As his body flipped over the water tower and building, he then spotted a rain gutter slanting into another building and saw a fun chance to perform a flip to land on the pipe and slide on his feet like he was surfing to the jump and broke into a full sprint. For being the Ninja of Lightning, he took careful strides to labor his breathing and speed to not lose stamina quickly. As he ran, he leaped over air ducts, slid underneath water pipes, and even leaped over an alley to land onto a new building. But when he saw the ledge to the end of the block, he smirked to sprint harder to leap across the wide streets below him and landed onto the glass of a skyscraper to stare into his own reflection. A masked figure in red and blue with white curved triangular eyes and body covered with a black web design.

He had to smile to himself underneath his mask and climbed his way up to the top of the building of a triangular spire and rested against it to sigh as he could catch his breath finally. Fighting and chasing a lot of crime can really give you a nice work out. he thought to himself. And even worked up an appetite, he-he. Jay stifled a yawn and pulled the top of his mask to feel it easily slide off to feel a cool breeze hit his face as it felt warm and covered in sweat. So glad he went with a stretchable and breathable fabric to craft his suit that allowed him and his body to breath on days like these.

How he had gotten his suit though was a bit tough in the beginning to ensure his identity wasn't revealed. But after doing some research, he had found a tailor outside of Ninjago City that can create anything by any requests. And all he had to do was leave a note, his drawing designs, measurements, and cash to pay for it. A couple days later, it was finally finished and the auburn teen felt excited when he tried it on to feel it form fit to his body like a glove. But also in order to have him web swing, he had to slit the fabric near his wrists so they could thwip out easily and not get webs all over the insides of his gloves. A lesson he learned the first time he tried. But all that matters is that he has his suit and is Spiderman.

A small smile still played on the auburn's face as he stared at the face of his mask to a proud achievement he was holding in his hands to lift his gaze away to watch the day set. The sun was beginning to dip into the horizon to leave layers of warm colors in the sky; red, orange, pink, and violet. The stars began to flicker into the sky and below in the city, the street lamps began to illuminate. Night was heading into its destination. The blue ninja realized how late it was starting to become and knew he had to head back to the Bounty before the others know of his absence. They knew he was with Cole when patrolling in the city, but had to slip away to become Spiderman.

Sighing to breathe in the cool air, the Ninja of Lightning slipped the stretchable mask over his face and fixed to where it felt comfortable and smiled to having polarized lens inside the eyes so he wasn't staring through fabric. The good thing about the lens was that they were dark on the inside and white on the outside to allow him to see without glares from the sun. Plus if he didn't have them fixed, seeing through cloth would probably get him killed. And unlike his designs, the tailor enlarged the eyes a little to allow him to see more than the narrow eyes he had in mind. Boy he was thankful for that.

With the mask fixed over his face, Jay stared at the streets below him to draw in a deep breath to let gravity take hold and fell. The returning howling wind hissed loudly in his ears and quickly fired a strand of silk to feel his momentum and swung across the city to start heading for the Destiny's Bounty. One thing was on his mind as he swung, how were the others going to react with the new superhero and was he going to be mentioned on the news? Oh he had to know.

Well what did you all think!? Perfect? Awesome!? Amazing!? What about the soundtrack!? Oh any word will do for Jay's ways to introduce himself as the superhero to make his friends confused on who he was. And maybe even steal their thunder like Nya did before. HAHA, yes! Oh this was awesome to write. Anyway, thank you for reading the update, leave a review if you wish to, also I'm even on spring break next week so I may post two updates like my usual friday updates and maybe a couple days before it, I don't know yet for sure. But have a great weekend and I'll see you all next week. C:
