Sorry I haven't updated in a long time. I have been really busy.
Logan walked into his kitchen to see Veronica cooking. He put down his iPad and the rough copy of the book and asked "Your cooking? where's Mrs navero?"
Veronica turned around and smiled at him. " hey handsome! I gave her the day off I haven't cooked in awhile." When she didn't get an answer she went on "Ryan's outside doing his stake out. The kids are doing homework in their rooms and I'm making your favorite tonight Steak, Mac and cheese from scratch and corn."
Logan looked up then back down at the iPad and replied " it sounds great but I have a lot of work to do tonight."
Veronica looked up and counted to ten before she replied "you can't take an hour break?"
Logan looked back up "not if I want to stay on schedule."
Veronica trying not to argue asked "how long are you going to be mad at me?"
Logan looked back at her "I dont know. How long are you going to put yourself in danger?" he replied as he walked up the stairs.

Logan was sitting at his desk trying to type in his laptop. It just wasn't going to work to night. When he heard a knock on the door. Logan looked up and said "who is it?"
A second later he heard his son " lo." Logan smiled "come in buddy."
As he opened the door carring a plate of food he said " moms cleaning the kitchen. She said to bring this up."
" thanks just leave it on the desk." logan replied and went back to his laptop.
Lo stoped at the door " dad are you and mom fighting she seemed upset tonight."
Logan looked up " we just had a small argument were fine Lo I promise."
"Okay" was los only reply as he left.
Logan turned around to his laptop and closed it. An hour later He walked into the kitchen to see Veronica rinsing off the dishies to put in the dish washer. He walked behind her. " just leave them ill do them tonight. Why don't you just go upstairs and relax. "
Veronica stiffened up at his voice but answered sadly " that's okay it's all that's left and I really don't want to go up upstairs."
Logan walked to the fridge and said " fine veronica. " she dropped the plate she was holding. " how long is it going to be like this?"
Logan turned towards his wife "like what?" He asked
Veronica turned around "I don't know maybe how cold your being now. I thought we were past all this."
Logan sat down at the table and said "veronica I love you. You know how I get when you put yourself into danger." He said as he held out his hand for her. Logan flinched when she hesatated to take it. He gave her a second and said "come here please."
veronica put the rest of the dishies in the sink and took his hand as he pulled her on to his lap. He put their in twind hands on her stomach. "can you please just let your dad handle this. They paid some one to run your mother over with a car veronica. There is no telling what isabella will do when she finds the bug you sent. I'm really scared."
veronica not wanting to escalate the argument put her hand on his chest this might not be the right time to bring this up but I was thinking about leting my mom meet the kids?"
logan shook his head "its up to you if you want to let her back into your life."
she thought for a second "i don't know but they deserve a chance to meet her."
logan nodded and put her legs on the floor and said "go upstairs and lay down ill be up as soon as I finish the dishes."
veronica smiled and hugged him and walked to the stairs but turned around on the first step and said "logan I love you to." then she walked upstairs.
He waited till she's was upstairs then he turned towards the sink mumbling "it's going to be a disaster." He got to their sink and rinsed the dishes and pots loaded the dish washer. Then he walked over to the alarm to make sure it was set and headed up to their bed room to find his wife watching tv. Logan walked over to his side of the bed and sat down next to her. She turned to him "hello."
logan smiled and kissed her then repeated her "hello" before he turned around and faced the wall on his side of the bed.
