A/N: All done with finals and the semester! Now a month long break during which I get to beg my mom at every chance to agree to let me study abroad in Edinburgh! The OUAT characters aren't mine, as usual.

Regina walked Graham out and then walked into her kitchen, contemplating her options. She could kill Charming outright, of course. Make it look like a medical emergency and that way Snow would get her little heart broken before being destroyed herself. But as gleeful as that prospect made Regina, it wouldn't do. It was no fun, if she was being honest. Kill a man newly woken from a coma with no memories of his life? Even she had morals. A grin blossomed on her lips. No, she'd give him some memories, just as she'd invented memories for everyone else in Storybrooke, and she would have lots of fun with it.

She grabbed the flour from her pantry and eggs from the fridge before conjuring up a brilliantly red apple in the palm of her hand, its skin glowing, alive with the magic that coursed through its magically modified cells. She'd bake Charming a treat filed with memories of her own creation she decided, and began to bake.

Regina smiled at the nurses at the hospital station when she walked in, reveling in the sound of their collective murmured "Good morning, Madame Mayor". She carried the single Tupperware container with the apple turnover tucked safely inside as she sauntered down the hall to Charming's room. She didn't bother glancing into 107, the room Snow and her brat had occupied yesterday. She was sure that they wouldn't be there and if they were, Snow was even dumber than she'd thought.

She didn't bother knocking as she reached the door, coming inside and shutting the door behind her. Charming started in surprise and she gave him the friendliest smile she could manage.

"David, wasn't it?" She asked and he nodded, watching her curiously. She held up the container in explanation for a visit. "I'm sure you must be sick of hospital food now, especially after waking from a coma. You might have no memories but I'm sure your tongue remembers the taste of baked goods." Regina handed him the turnover. "For you."

Charming smiled in a way that she supposed could be considered handsome by some. "Thank you." He said sincerely as he took it. He glanced at the cup of jello on his bedside in slight distaste. "This is definitely an improvement over the food here. But don't tell the nurses."

Eat the damned thing already, she growled mentally as she forced a laugh. Thankfully she didn't have to wait long. She stared in anticipation as he bit into the golden pastry. He paused briefly, his pupils growing large as a small shudder ran through him, and she bit back a smile, feigning concern. She wanted to shake him and ask what he remembered but instead she forced herself to wait patiently.

"David?" She asked, feigning concern. "Are you all right?"

He shook his head slowly, his smile widening in disbelief. "I'm fine, better than fine. You must make magical desserts. I remember everything."

Regina bit back a snort. He didn't know the half of it. "Everything? Like what?"

"My wife, Katherine, the accident…" He trailed off again, staring into space.

"That's wonderful." Regina said as she walked toward the door and she certainly meant it. "I'll grab a nurse on my way out and she can help you get in contact with your family."

"Thank you, Madame Mayor."

She turned to smile at him. "Oh, it was my absolute pleasure."

The grin she wore threatened to split her face in two as she directed a nurse in the hall toward his room and walked toward the hospital entrance. The automatic doors opened for her and she stepped out into the chilly morning. She gave a flick of her wrist and lightning lit up the sky in a brilliant arc and then the heavens opened up and it began to pour.
