Hey everyone happy friday, and time for an update. I knew I said that I was on spring break already and I might do two updates this week, but I've been busy and enjoying my warm weather as the snow is finally melting. So I'm still doing my usual weekday updates. Here's more Amazing SpiderJay, let's see what the Ninja are like towards Spiderman.

Chapter 13: New Lessons

"A man in mysterious spandex cloth and can swing from webs, some new villian appoarching our footsteps or in fact a new superhero from a comic book." the reporter, Gale Gossip, reported via to the camera. The burnet quickly had to fix her styled bop hair and her pink pan suit to continue with the report. "Citizens are baffled to the new face as he seemed to come from nowhere. Some say he just came from the sky for his web swinging and others say he's just a person like us with his powers hidden. We can't tell. And who is he you might ask? Citizens call him the Mysterious Arachnid and others call the Amazing Spiderman. Personally, I like Spiderman better. Is he a new hero to watch over the lands of Ninjago and our beloved city? And how will the Ninja compete to this figure? Have they been outsmarted?"

The screen quickly flickered to a new channel the large computer in the Bounty's bridge had to ensure no one had to hear that. Kai, being the one who turned the channel, turned to face with his brothers with an annoyed look he had masking his face. Along with the others, but Jay. He wasn't around near them. Where was he? The fire ninja continued to show the look he has while ignoring the commentary playing in the background, but Lloyd, however, had a huge grin on his face after seeing the mysterious hero with the spider powers and hearing the news of him. Kai had to give him an odd look at first but quickly ignored to turn back to everyone. "Who does this guy think he is?" he asked annoyed. "And why is he stealing our thunder like when Nya was the mysterious samurai?"

A small childish chuckle filled the bridge and alll eyes were trained to Lloyd as he began to laugh harder. What was so funny to him? "Weren't you paying attention, Kai?" the green ninja asked to receive a dumbfolded look from the Ninja of Fire. He stopped to breathe to catch his breath to snicker. "He's Spiderman, duh. You know the one the can make those webs from his wrists." He smirked now as the fire ninja was glowing red with anger to become a close shade of his gi. He got him annoyed more to chuckle more. "Anyway, I think he's awesome. The way he stopped that bank heist with a giant web was even cooler. He's all pow-pow!" He mimicked Spiderman's hand gestures to fire his own webs. "And even swing away is the cool part. Oh man I so want to dress up as him for Halloween than Fritz Donnagen. This is even better than my comics."

"You can be whoever you want, Lloyd." said Cole. "But still, I agree with Kai. Who is this guy and does he think he is?" He looked at the back of his hand to still have strands of silk from when Spiderman pinned him to the dumpster and escaped. And after he freed himself, he had to wonder where Jay ran off to since he was his partner and how the masked figure could do such a thing. "And how is he able to shoot these things without gadgets and what is this stuff? Surely it can't be real spider webs."

Curious now, Zane walked over to the leader to remove his glove from his hand to inspect it closely. He carefully tugged a small bit of silk from the fabric and tossed the black glove back to Cole. He walked over to the large computer to insert the silk onto a scanner and typed on the keyboard to obtain a reading. What he got in return, intrigued him. "Actually Cole, it is actual spider silk." he informed to the black ninja as he slipped his glove back on. "It has the same elements to use and create normal spider web silk. How he has it though is unquestionable." He scanned through the group to notice a person wasn't around. "Also where is Jay? He was suppose to be with you."

Unsure, Cole had to shrug his shoulders while brushing his bangs from his eyes. "How can I keep an eye on him anyway?" he stated. "He was with me and the next gone. Hope he's alright though. He's still upset from the funeral of his uncle, but still doesn't explain why he left. When he gets back, I need to give Zippy a good talk to not wonder off on missions. That's putting a huge impact on the team."

Thwip! Thwip!

Jay continued to swing from building to building to sigh in relief as the Bounty was in view. He was glad to see as he was exhausted from today's events and he was starting to lose buildings as now they were going to fifteen stories high than most skyscrapers. Can't even swing much higher if he didn't have most to climb with. The blue ninja fired a new web at the building behind the ship to pull and launch himself toward the ship to land through the open window of the bunkroom he shared with his brothers to sigh. He was glad to be home now.

Thump!

The Ninja turned their heads to the source of the sound to look at each other confused. Someone was aboard in the ship and it didn't sound like Jay. Or was it? That made everyone else confused. "That's strange." Zane said confused while heading out for the door to the upper deck. "I didn't know Jay was home. It sounded like he's in our room even."

Jay sighed while slipping his mask off to feel his face breathe. Sure his suit was form fitting and breathable, but it still felt great to breathe. And even he'll breathe more when he gets this suit off. That would be bliss to him. Can breathe and become comfortable all at the same time.

As the blue ninja fixed his messy, sweaty auburn hair since the static of the mask caused it to stand, he stifled a yawn to the exhaustion he endured. Today as being Spiderman for the first day can be a tiring day for one. But he stopped in mid-yawn as his spider senses were tingling to make out footsteps appoarching to make images of his friends and Nya. He gasped as they were going to see him as the masked hero to start panicking on this now. He felt hooped. He could swing away, but they expect him to be home so he has to stay and hide. But where though?

Knock-knock-knock

"Jay, are you in there?" Zane asked while opening the door to enter and raise a brow as the bedroom was empty. How strange. He could've sworn the lightning ninja was in the bunkroom, but now he wasn't. He glanced over his shoulder a shrug from Kai and scanned around the room for the missing brother. "That's very odd." the nindroid observed confused. "I could've sworn he was here."

Unbeknowst to the ice ninja, Jay was with them. He wasn't looking above them in the bathroom. In the small part of the ceiling in the bathroom, the blue ninja had his fingers and toes gripping into the wood to keep himself hidden. He dare not make a sound or breathe loudly as they all gathered in while peering under the doorway from the ceiling. "Bit of a slop you six are in this room." Laurie stated while nudging her foot away from the dirty clothes that laid around on the floor. "Seriously, you guys ever pick this room up? I swear the old apartment was cleanier than this."

"What?" her brother questioned her. "We're guys and it happens. We clean up...on some days. Besides, Kai and Cole make it worse on their side of the room."

"Wha-Hey!" the fire and earth ninja complained.

The ice ninja didn't seem to care to join in on the conversation and kept browsing around for the missing ninja. His senses say he was here. But where? Maybe he was having a small malfuction or something. He'll have to give himself an analysis later today to determine. "I guess he's not here." he complied. "I must've made a mistake."

The water ninja had his scarred brow raised toward the nindroid on his mistake. That's not like the Zane they knew. "How can you make a mistake?" he wondered. "You're Zane. The nindroid with sixth sense to sense anything." He saw the blank stare of certainty the white ninja gave him while crossing his arms to take the hint to shut up. "But I guess you're right. It was a mistake. Maybe a bird smacked the ship that's all. We'll just have to wait if Jay will show up or not."

Jay had had quietly sighed in relief as everyone was starting to leave the room; all but Nya. It made him tense a bit. Please. Go away, Nya. I don't want you to see me. he said to himself. Please. But the samurai walked into the bathroom below him, scanning around still; still convinced he was in the room. He started to feel a bead of sweat on his forehead form on his brow from his hot day as Spiderman and felt the drip of perspiration slide down. His hazel eyes were crossed to watch the drop travel down the bridge of his nose to the tip and hung to gulp. No! No! He begged more and more but it slipped and fell. He gasped quietly to watch the drop take hold of gravity toward Nya, but she moved before it landed on her head.

Drip!

The raven haired girl stopped in her tracks to the sound in the quiet room for being the last one to turn around to see nothing and glanced down to see a speck of water absorbed into the wooden floors. She stared at the small wet spot curiously to lift her light brown eyes to the ceiling to see nothing. Odd. The sound of rustlings on the walls caused the samurai to snap her head toward the open window. Cautiously, she crept to the open window to peer through to stare at a brick wall of the building behind Dareth's dojo. Very odd now. She could've sworn she heard something outside. The girl checked her surroundings more and the sides of the Bounty to shrug her shoulders and walked away. It was probably nothing.

But unknown to her, it was something. Underneath the window, clinging to the hull was Jay in panic and now relief. After a quick and swift movement, he was glad to make it out on time before the girl he loves spotted him. A point each for both his ninja stealth and spider abilities to climb out quickly and quietly. He gulped down the breath he had no idea he was holding to sigh in relief to relax and quietly reentered the bunkroom.

The sound of the door opening perked everyone's ears to turn and face Jay as he entered. They felt relieved to see his childish smile at the door, but they all wondered where he was. The blue ninja continued to give them all his childish smile and interally felt relieved to be out of his Spiderman suit and back into his blue ninja attire. More breathable and loose fitting to move like what Zane when they first got them. "Hey guys, what's up?" he greeted them while pacing over to the group. "Did I miss something?"

"There you are." Cole exclaimed. "Where have you been? You were suppose to stay with your parter when doing Serpentine patrol. And yet you ran off on your own and didn't report in." He watched the auburn teen shrug his shoulder to grunt while rolling his amber eyes to pinch the bridge of his nose. "And if you want to know what you misssed, we got a freak in spandex acting like a super hero in the city."

Interested, the lightning ninja had his scarred brow raised. "You mean Spiderman?" he wondered innocently to keep his secret hidden. "The guy looks awesome with his web swinging stuff. I even like his costume."

"Right!" Lloyd added excitedly. "Isn't he just the coolest person ever!?"

The two ninjas were given hard stares from Cole, Kai, and Lucas to their giddy conversations of the new hero. It's like talking over a new comic book or TV show to them. It was making them annoyed. However, the ice and wind ninja and samurai really didn't seem to care to give them neutral looks. They just wanted to know what happened to Jay today, that's all. "Jay, it appears that you may have encountered this new character during your absence." an elderly voice chimed. The Ninja turned to the door to see Sensei Wu entering the bridge with his head bowed and a ming tea cup in one hand and lifted his grey eyes to meet with the blue ninja's hazel eyes. "Do you mind telling your encounter with our mysterious friend?" he wondered while sipping his tea.

Friend? That word sounded rather unusual to hear on the first day as the mysterious person. He was hoping for more like...new warrior or superhero that's stealing the thunder of his friends. Like when Nya was the mysterious samurai before they, well except for Kai, knew. Huh, come to think of it, friend actually sounded about like Nya's time as the mysterious person as it was now him as Spiderman. He had to give himself a cocky smile on the inside as he was starting to steal their thunder. Oh what fun it was now.

Realizing he was starting to drift off in his head, the blue ninja shook himself back to nod in reply to his teacher. He pretended to become excited as he quickly thought of a convincing fib to use. "Okay basically I was with Cole wondering on... Flemington? That round-a-bout road?" he wondered to receive a nod from the earth ninja. "Yeah anyway," he continued. "as we were searching for any trouble or Serpentine, I saw someone about to get robbed in an alley. Course Cole wouldn't notice it or hear it and told me to not leave his side, but I had to sneak away to help out. But out of nowhere, here comes Spiderman! Haha!"

"Did he beat those that were causing trouble to that person!?" Lloyd asked excitedly to know every detail. Oh he had to know.

Jay turned toward the blonde boy to nod his head rapidly with his smile stretching widely. He could see the excitement glint in his emerald green eyes and had to keep going on with his false story. He even felt pride swell in him to know he has a number one fan. That's an proud achievement so far as Spiderman. First step, first appearence. Second step, fans. And third, become a hero to fight a super villian. Oh what fun he was going to have as this with his amazing powers.

"Yeah!" the lightning ninja squealed. "At first, I had no idea what he was doing, but after appearing from nowhere, those goons start fighting him. I wanted to help but he told me to stay back and he had this. I didn't want him to fight alone, but once I saw him charge, oh man I was stoked! He could climb on walls! Fire shots of webs from his wrists and everything! No weapons or anything! Just his wits and webs!" He didn't realize he was jumping on the balls of his feet as he went on. "And after that, I wanted his autograph for that awesome fight, but he couldn't because he had to leave and keep an eye on the city to make it safe from Serpentine or dark lords even."

"Whoa okay, hold on!" Kai stopped him. The fire ninja rushed over to hm to grab a hold of his gi to look at him in the eye. Jay gulped slightly to the glare to noticed he tripped a trigger on him. Oh boy. "First off, there is no way a freak in spandex can be awesome and take on the Serpentine or dark lords! That's our job! And second, don't get excited over this criminal!"

"Spiderman is not a criminal, Kai!" Lloyd chasisited, bouncing to his feet. "You're just jealous that he can beat you before you could get a chance to fight. I see him as an awesome superhero."

The spiky haired burnet released his hold on the blue ninja to snort. "Me? Jealous?" he huffed. "Please. I think he's more jealous that he can't do Spinjitzu."

"You don't know that for sure." Jay interjected loudly. "Somebody's a little hot under the collar like when he couldn't unlock his True Potential or when he wasn't the mighty Green Ninja."

"Okay whose side are you even on, Jay and Lloyd?" Cole added in to join the feud. "Remember that we have to protect Ninjago and the city. Remember, Spiderman can only swing from buildings. There's no way he can fight in a desert. There is no way this Soon-To-Be-Has Been hero will be in our way when many challenges Garmadon throws at us. He'll be squashed. Plus this guy almost got me killed when he had me in a web. I want to repay him for that."

A sigh escaped from Sensei Wu with his grey eyes closed while shaking his head to his students' nonsense in fighting. He had to stitch his grey brows as soon as his son and Zane were joining with the fire and earth ninja against Jay and Lloyd. Thankful as his niece and Nya weren't choosing sides to argue. But still, the six males were arguing over nonsense and jealousity of a new vigilantie, that's not honorful as he saw it. Sighing, the elder set his tea cup onto a counter, raised his bamboo staff high with both hands and thrust the end into the wooden floors in a loud echoey thud. The bridge quickly fell silent.

The Ninja all turned their heads toward their mentor in absolute silence. The was quiet until the elder sipped his tea and opened his eyes to see his students more. Less fighting and bickering, just how he likes as if it was his tea. "It appears now that we have a new visitor who appears to take the liking for stopping evil." he spoke with his wise voice. "A challenge for which four of my students faced with a mysterious samurai." He gestured over to Nya with his staff. The girl gave everyone a shy look while fixing her bracelets to look away. Jay had to wonder why she was being shy over this now. "A new lesson has appeared to come into our paths to now understand. And one you have learned and a new one you must.

Another lesson? For a hero that only stops crime in the city? Jay had to give his mentor an odd look for it. What did the lesson needed to be? Iron sharpens Iron? But that has already been taught. "With all due respect, Sensei," he heard Zane speak up to turn his head to him. "But what lesson can be learned if we have already learned the previous lesson? Surely there can't be anything added to the one you've taught us. Unless there is."

A sigh escaped from the elder's lips to look away and stare out at a window. The hot colors of the setting day made him feel in serenity as they blended all together, but then averted his gaze away to meet with his students. "There is a small part of the lesson, but I left it out because I knew Nya's second face." he said. "Iron sharpens Iron, to meet with your foes. But never wound, what you can't kill." The Ninja and Nya had to blink to it now. That sounded awful in the end. Glad he had left that out in the lesson. He sighed to bow his head to their surprise. "As you know why I left it out because we have honor in our hearts than those that don't. But your lesson shall be the same when facing the samurai. Learn and understand your new friend and the enemy of my enemy is my friend." He paused for a minute. "I must leave now. I feel like I have disturb the peace here." He turned to leave the bridge, his staff tapping along and monotoning as he left.

Jay was in absolute silence with his friends to look at them confused. He was right about the iron sharpens iron part, but what about the enemy is a friend. Shrugging, he turned to his friends to ponder. "Was he talking jibberish again?" he asked. "What does he mean by that?"

The grey ninja had his arms crossed while leaning against a counter to shrug his shoulders. He was confused as the next ninja was so he couldn't determine what his father teaches. "It's my dad." he stated. "He always speaks in riddles. Like when teaching me Spinjitzu and I'm sure with you guys. I feel like he's talking about two people or something."

"Speaking of which." Cole said and walked over to Jay. "Just because you ran off to save someone doesn't mean you run off from your duty as a ninja. You should've reported it to me and we could've stopped it together and not get yourself hurt and been missing all day. Remember, there's only one of you and not two. Stay with your group and stop acting childish next time."

Jay felt his brow stitch in grimace and shoved the black ninja aside to storm out of the bridge. The samurai watched him head for the bow and wanted to walk over to him, but stayed as she figured he needed space. Instead, she turned to the earth ninja to give him a hard stare. Why were they always picking on him? "What?" Cole asked confused.

Out on the deck, the lightning ninja had his fists clenched into tight balls as he leaned on the railing. Cole had no idea what he was doing but become Spiderman to help people. But saying to not run off and act like a little kid just made him mad. What does he know? He doesn't have awesome spider power or was bitten to begin with.

The auburn teen felt his anger subside to slowly cool off and his ears perked to the sound of water dripping. He turned his head to a barrel that collected rain water to walk over to it and leaned over it. He was greeted with his reflection from the setting sun to stir it boredly with a finger. As he watched his expressions match with his movements, an idea popped into his head as it made sense to him and looked away to a certain building. Across the city, he could make out the one building that gave off a green tint from its many windows; Oscorp. Something in there that could help him that could him with what he needed now. Only one of you, not two. "Or is there?" he said."

What can there be in Oscorp for Jay to use and help him? Hmmm... We'll just have to wait and see, you can even tell me your thoughts on what there is for Jay. I already know what it is. But I'd like to see your thoughts what it could be in Oscorp for Jay. Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed the update, leave a review on what you think it can be for Jay in the next update, and I'll see you all next weeke. Have a great weekend. :)
