Hey everyone, happy Friday and time for a new update. Last week, I left you all in a surprise you didn't see coming for Jay to have while he's Spiderman. A new nindroid, even. Ooh you're gonna like him. But anyway, time for more SpiderJay. Enjoy.

Chapter 15: Jay 2

Jay was speechless to reply as he gazed at his doppelganger that was brought back from the dead. He couldn't believe it when he thought it was over and he couldn't be Spiderman again. But with a miracle, he recreated the fallen android from Oscorp into a new person. His exact self. He choked on his words as nothing came but a large smile grew on his face.

The android, or preferably called as Jay 2, studied the person in front of him to feel his vision enhance to his face to scan it and blinked to have his vision return back. Why did he look familiar he had to wonder. He gazed around the basement to wonder why he was in such a large room with boxes and other equipment and looked down in his chest filled his organs or components to poke his power source to feel a small zap tingle feeling to wince. I can feel pain? he wondered and watched the two hatches close over his circuits to see tanned skin of a human body chest. He blinked to what he done and looked away to a computer monitor to catch his reflection to gasp. "Ah! That's why he looks familiar!" he yelped in surprise. "He's me. Hair, skin, eyes, and a scar!? How!? This does not compute!" The auburn looked at Jay who had an alarming look on his face. "Wh-Who are you!?" he asked in Jay's voice scared. "Why do you look like me!? What's going on!?"

Jay saw the panic in his hazel eyes that glowed and dimmed and hurried over to lay a comforting hand on his shoulder and gently escorted him to sit down back on the table. He could see the puzzled look on his face to smile at him to make him feel calm and grabbed a chair to pull it over and took a seat across from him. A minute of utter silence passed and the lightning ninja saw the android still give him an odd look to chuckle a little. He looked exactly like him. How cool was that!? Voice resemblance and even his panicking scream was spot on. The auburn saw him relax slowly to smile softly. "It's alright." he said calmly. "I'll explain you everything."

The android stared at him quizzically to what he meant to look away to have his eyes scanning around various objects to analyze what they were and got back to his feet. He felt something slide off his waist and didn't bother to look down. But he gave his look-a-like an odd look as he had an arm over his eyes with a cringe look on his face. "Then what is going on?" he asked, puzzled. "And why are you covering your eyes for?" He looked down a quick second to look away. "Oh."

Jay nodded while humming his throat to agree with him and turned away to over to the table that had his supplies. Luckily he was glad to plan ahead and grabbed the handful of clothes to lend to him and tossed them over to Jay 2 without looking back. Maybe he should've put boxers on him since the beginning to make it less awkward for the both of them. "First things first." he said. "Put these on first and then we'll talk. There's lot to discuss."

A few minutes passed and Jay felt something tap his shoulder to turn and smile to see Jay 2 clothed in his clothes; only though he wore a tee shirt than a long sleeved shirt. He walked around his double to study him and occasionally checked the hair to make sure it was short in some places without any traces of dark hair. "Perfect." he muttered. He gently grabbed his face to study the facial features, scar on his eyebrow, and his hazel eyes at eye level that the pupils tend to enlarge and contrast like they were enhancing like a camera would and there wasn't much light in the room. "Awesome." he smiled. To make a final check-up, the auburn lifted the android to press the area to have the hatch split open to check his power source was working effectively to smile as it hummed and was bright to close the hatch and let his shirt fall back down and stepped back. "So what is that you want to know, Jay 2?" he wondered to answer his questions.

Jay 2? Was that supposed to be his name? He had to give the teen the returning odd look to look down at his body to wonder more on it. The one that his chest could expend outward surprised him the most. An image flashed in his mind to look at his left arm to stroke a finger across his synthetic skin and a panel flipped open to blink as a hologram flashed above his arm to show an image of him and it dispersed into the air as the lights switched off. He became more surprised to slam his arm shut to quickly turn to Jay a little scared. But he soon slowly relaxed. "Uh...what does Jay 2 stand for?" he wondered. "Just. Animatronic. Youngling? Or something else?"

Jay simply chuckled to Jay 2's wondering thoughts of his name being an acronym which sounded pretty accurate. But no, he shook his head instead with a smile. There was a lot he had to explain to him. "No it doesn't mean that or anything. It comes from me." he replied to have Jay 2 give him another puzzled look to have his scarred eyebrow raised. "My name is Jay. I'm the elemental blue ninja of lightning or was until Garmadon took my golden nunchucks. But still glad I can still do Spinjitzu and fight as a ninja. Quite jealous that Lucas, Laurie, and Lloyd have powers still, but that's besides the point." He stopped to realize he was pacing around to receive an odd look as usual. Why does he have to do that? He should remember everything from the blood sample. "Anyway, the point is that I'm the human version of you and I...created you to be like me. Shouldn't you remember that from the blood sample I installed into your systems. The memories from my blood should give you everything."

"Really?" Jay 2 said to look at his arms and lifted his head to stare at a mirror to feel something wash over him the more he gazed at himself. "I...remember something. Stored within my databanks." he spoke quietly. He wasn't sure how it was possible to have memories from blood when he knew that Deoxyribonucleic Acid, DNA, carried the genetic genes to construct the living organism to create chromosomes, proteins, acids, basically anything for human biology. But the memories of the donor, it didn't compute and must be rare to unlock from the gene strands. The android turned away to stare at himself, or Jay, this was confusing. "I remember everything...we done in the past."

The smile on the blue ninja's face grew wide enthusiastically to hear this. His uncle right, blood can help project or restore memories for an android. This was a revolution in technology that was like wasn't supposed to happen in the future when technology would be more advanced. But yet it was in front of him. He felt successful. "What do you remember from us?" he asked.

Jay 2 closed his eyes to search deeply into his databanks to think and search more and more. As he concentrated, he felt the memories flood into his head to have his mouth drop as he watched each event unfold to snap his eyes open to gasp. "Everything." he exclaimed. "From birth, our parents, aunt and uncle." A frown formed on his face to look away a little. "But...Uncle Ben is gone." He saw the same look form on Jay's face to glance back and sighed. "But I also remember meeting Sensei Wu to become the blue ninja, get my nunchucks and watched Garmadon escape the Underworld. Months later, Lloyd opened two Serpentine tombs and Pythor's. Which causes us to fight and defend for Ninjago from the Great Devourer. Then our weapons were stolen to be a Mega Weapon to Garmadon and fought against pirates, evil clones, and be in a race to win this ship that we found after the Monastery was burnt down by the...Hypnobrai. And since then, we've been going through anything the Serpentine or Garmadon throw at us."

The smile was still plastered on the Ninja of Lightning's face to hear the remembrance of his memories from his android counterpart. It was basically everything he had done in his entire life; from childhood to the present. How amazing was that? But what made Jay concern was that Jay 2 only spoke about themselves and not one mention of his friends, besides saying Lloyd and Sensei Wu's name. Or even if he was Spiderman. He hoped he remembered them. "And...Do you remember our friends?" he asked in hope. "Besides the names you mentioned. And also anything about a spider?"

Jay 2 brought a finger to his chin to ponder at the word friends. But the spider part, no. But surprisingly more memories flooded into his databanks to nod as everything became informative to him. "There's Cole, the Black Ninja of Earth with the scythe. Kai, the Red Ninja of Fire with the katana. Zane, the White Ninja of Ice with shurikens and also an android like me. And Lloyd Garmadon, Lord Garmadon's son and the chosen one as the Green Ninja; Master of Elements. But then there's Lucas Wu, Sensei Wu's son and the Grey Ninja of Water with the sai's and was Garmadon's old apprentice. And Laurie Garmadon, Garmadon's oldest daughter and Lloyd's sister, the Orange Ninja of Winds with the bō staff. And those together are Lloyd's guardians while we're his teachers as they are to him as well." He paused to ponder as he felt blank. "I feel like I'm forgetting someone."

And at that moment made Jay's heart stop. Was Jay 2 being serious? Had he really forgotten about Nya!? The samurai who he, the real Jay, was in love with that was important to him. The auburn android had everyone remembered, but not Nya? Why was that? "Uh...you forgotten about Nya!" he stated. He watched Jay 2's scarred brow being raised to the name to roll his eyes to scoff a bit. "You know. My girlfriend. The mysterious samurai that stole our thunder back then until we found it was her after I almost changed into a Serpentine. Kai's sister even! She's shorter than us by a few inches, short black hair, fair skin, and with lovely chocolate brown eyes and rosy red lips. And even loves blue." He stopped to snap his thoughts away to realize he was drifting off to see Jay 2 tilting his head puzzled. "Oh come on! You have to remember Nya! She's like everything to me. Sure I worry if she fights beside us and gets hurt, but she can protect herself. But you have to, really have to remember her." He then looked to stop as he was gripping the android's arms tightly to loosen himself. "Sorry, I got carried away. But seriously, you don't remember Nya?"

To reply, the auburn android shook his head. The expression he received from the blue ninja caused him to create a frown with him. How could he not remember the samurai, but still remember the Ninja. "I'm sorry but I wish I could remember this Nya more." he apologized. "But I think there is an explanation on why I don't know." Jay's face slowly faded to the possible news. "Maybe the reason why is because I don't love her. You said she was your girlfriend and know everything about her. But I don't because I'm a robot and androids don't experience love. Think about it. We can laugh, cry, and become angry, surprised, and jealous." This made the real Jay have his head cocked to hear this. Where was he going with this hypothesis? "Like Zane," he continued. "I experience the emotions he has, all but love. Since we don't understand the companionship of love with two people, we don't know what it is like. Unlike you'd with Nya and Laurie with Kai. That's probably the reason why I don't know her. Also the spider part, what?"

Interesting. Very interesting. It had to make sense. For Zane and Jay 2 being nindroids, they would experience everything humans would but not love. Since they were both males, where were there female androids if they were the only two fully working androids? It was like an old sci-fi movie he seen on TV back before he became a ninja. Where the cyborg was in love with the female protagonist but couldn't express his love. The lightning ninja could see why he couldn't remember Nya now. Because he was a nindroid who couldn't express his love like he could. "Yeah. That would make sense now that I think about it." he agreed and was also glad he didn't know he was Spiderman. Then something came to him to wonder if he remembered this. "Okay then, if you don't remember Nya tell me if you know about this?" He stepped back and got into a stance.

Time for a final test.

The android studied him quizzically to what his look-a-like was doing in such an odd way of standing. But the more he gazed at his stance the more he felt his head burn as his databanks were being filled with valuable information. Like he was having data being downloaded until everything was synced into his entire body. Everything became clearer as he quickly reviewed everything he had seen from Jay's perspective with both training and missions to where he felt energy fill his circuits. And when he saw the Ninja of Lightning's Spinjitzu, he felt as if his mind had erupted into a lightning storm to where he saw everything to become him. And to respond, he felt his limbs take control to form his body into the same fighting stance Jay was in.

This made both Jays smirk.

In a quick step, Jay quickly charged toward his android counterpart to leap and extend his right leg while swing his body around to aim for Jay 2's chest. But the auburn android simply kept his guard without fazing. As the lightning ninja was about to land his strike, he felt his foot being blocked as the android had his forearms crossed over his face to create an effective block. In instant reaction, the blue ninja had used his remaining momentum to leap himself over Jay 2 to land behind him and his counterpart quickly turned around to face him. The two Jays began to closely fight in the large storage room while each neither landed a blow on any of their body parts, only to be deflected by each other. Neither accepted to be defeated.

As the two fought equally, neither back down as they fought the same. It made them both think they were fighting their evil doppelganger Garmadon had created to destroy them at Darkly's Boarding School for Bad Boys. An exact mirror image. If you can land a punch, it'll defeat him. But neither could land a punch on each other. As they fought, Jay 2 had calculated that the chances of either winning were fifty-to-fifty percent as they were equal and knew each other's moves as they were one. But as a final stance, the android stepped back as the real Jay was about to land a punch on him and charged. "Ninjaaa-Gooo!" he shouted and spun.

Jay's hazel eyes widen as he watched Jay 2 starting to perform Spinjitzu for the first time. But as he spun hard, no traces of electricity emitted from his training and the blue ninja stepped aside to let him spin by and cringe a bit as he crashed into a wall and slumped to the floor. He cringed more as stored boxes on the shelves of training equipment fell on top of him and walked over to look down at him to check on him. Thankfully he looked alright, except for the dazed look. "Apparently your attempts to perform Spinjitzu aren't capable since only I alone can perform it." he guessed and helped move some of the equipment off of him. "With you being an exact copy of me, some things may have to be drawn back."

The dazed look from the android eyes slowly left as he laid on the floor with the padded kendo equipment on him. He groaned while holding his head as he still felt dizzy from his failed attempt on Spinjitzu. "Hypothesis, proven." he groaned and prompted himself by his elbow. "Spinjitzu attempt, fail-OW!" He quickly grabbed his head as the kendo face mask fell on top of his head to wince and slowly felt the knot forming. Luckily for him being a nindroid who couldn't remember one person, he could still feel pain. "Speaking of exact copy, why did you have to create me to be an exact copy of you? Surely there is a reason."

Indeed there was. And even after all the work he had to put into him has paid off. Even when the restored his memories, he felt more successful. He even could fight. That's a bonus than having to training him. How lucky can he get to repairing and finishing the almost lost android of Oscorp? Pretty lucky to accomplish everything in one day while everyone was out to keep you away, even if you faked a sick day. Oh he was definitely going to repay for that absence day. Eventually.

Smiling still, Jay pulled Jay 2 to his feet and gave him a quick check-up on his components and ensure the small solar panels were secured to his power source. Thankfully, they fixed properly without being loose at all. "Okay, for starters," he began. "To recharge your power source and batteries, you'll need solar power to recharge yourself. I would recommend like six hours or so down here from the window. That'll make sure it'll convert and store more energy for you." He saw Jay 2 gaze down at himself to nod. "Second, you need to stay down here, after we clean it up to make it your own room, for when I'm around on the Bounty. But when I'm not, you're my replacement. Reason, that's my third. But are you sure you don't remember the spiders?" Jay 2 looked at him oddly more to shake his head and it made the auburn more confused. He definitely doesn't remember Spiderman or the reason why. "Okay...my reason why is because-" He stopped as he felt the back of his head buzz and looked over his shoulder to stare out of the window; concerned.

Far across the city from the darken sky as night has fallen, the lightning ninja could see the large bright plaza of light pollution known as Ninjago Square. It made him confused to why his spider senses were tingling to feel his senses enhance as he stared more at it. Even Jay 2 looked at him quizzically to his pause to walk over to observe. But as they stared, the Bounty's alarm system suddenly roared to life as it was alerting danger to make both Jays become alert and both heard movement rush in the ship and soon became faint. They figured it was the Ninja, making Jay hope they didn't suspect him out of bed. But still, maybe they just got home and soon left from the alarm to sort out the threat. But to him, it felt rather new than what he sensed normal crooks, skeletons, and Serpentine before. He couldn't describe it.

Kicking into action, the blue ninja pulled himself away to run for the stairs. "I'll tell you later!" he shouted back to Jay 2 and stopped to the last table with cloth over it. The android rushed over to wonder more of what was happening, but got nothing reply. "But first, change into these." he said and removed the cloth to reveal the hidden articles of clothing. It made Jay 2 blink.

Time for Spiderman for Jay then, but what is the threat though to have Jay so concerned? Hmmm... But do you think though that the others would suspect the other Jay? Even from Zane with his sixth sense? Oh we'll have to wait and see to be sure? But anyway, thank you for reading the update, have a great weekend and I'll see you all next week. :)
