Chapter 23: Sage Showdown - Part 3

Back at the sage duel, Christina was in a bit of trouble. Her sage opponet Parker had a Skypalace Gangaridai equipped with Train Connection (ATK: 3,400 - 6,800) while Christina had 1 facedown monster and 1 facedown card and it was Parkers turn.
(Parker LP: 1950 - Christina LP: 4300)
Lucas then replied, "No, this can't happen to her."
Kelly then replied, "Lets hope those facedown cards can help her out."
Parker laughed and repleid, "This is it for you! Skypalace, attack!"
The huge airship opened up and a huge barrage of missles shot out and headed towards the facedown monster and a Battle Footballer appeared on the card (DEF: 2,100).
Kelly groaned and replied, "That won't be enough to save her!"
Christina quickly replied, "Yes it will! I activate Castle Walls!"
Suddenly, it began to glow (DEF: 2,100 - 2,600) before the missles shot out and obliterated the android (Christina LP: 4300 - 100).
Lucas sighed and replied, "TOO damn close."
Ginny then replied, "She's still in this duel at least."
"You lucked out I guess. I end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I activate Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and blew the Train Connection card to little pieces (ATK: 6,800 - 3,400).
"Next, I play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, the huge fiery dragon ruler appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,800).
"I now summon my Blazing Inpachi!"
Suddenly, the fiery wood spirit appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"I now play the last spell card I need and its Shrink!"
Suddenly, the airship began to glow (ATK: 3,400 - 1,700).
"Lets do it. Inpachi, attack!"
The fiery spirit swung his fist and a huge ball of flames shot out and struck the Airship and it burst into a huge explosion of flames and fiery pieces of broken metal.
"Blaster, end this!"
The dragon opened its mouth and unleashed a huge burst of flames and they shot and struck Parker (Parker LP: 1950 - 0).
Kelly smiled and replied, "Yea, girl!"
Carly then replied, "Christina wins her duel!"
The all cheered and Parker walked up to her and replied, "You are a great opponet and one of the best duels I've had in a long time."
Christina then replied, "I enjoyed it too."
He went into his pocket and took a Xyz monster out of there and he smiled and replied, "You have the right monsters needed for this bad boy, so take it."
She took the card and looked at and she smiled and replied, "I should have no trouble using it and thank you."
Carly then replied, "The final two duels will be tomorrow morning and night, so enjoy the rest of the night to relax."
They all nodded as she and the sages vanished and then Blackhawk replied, "You all ready for supper now?"
They nodded as the followed her out of the arena.

in the dining hall, the gang was enjoying the dinner being offered.
Christina sighed and replied, "That was the hardest duel I ever had in a long time. He had a decent deck."
Kelly took a few sips of her apple juice and she nodded and replied, "You did great and you deserve the win, Christina."
"This is a major thing for me in my life and I'm glad I'm apart of it."
Lucas looked at Carly (who joined them as soon they entered the dining area) and replied, "Besides founding this group, what was a great moment in your life?"
Carly smiled and replied, "I'd be honored to answer that, Lucas. When I was 18, my mom and dad took me and my 21 older brother Chris to The Dubai Mall in Dubai. It was a present for me grauating from high school and for Chris graduating from college as well. It is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the world right now. They both gave us 1000 dollars apiece to do whatever with and it was one of the best moments of my life."
Blackhawk then replied, "I've seen a crapload of pictures of it and its now the most visited place in the world right now."
Lucas then replied, "Too bad you don't have any members there."
Carly then replied, "You'd be wrong about that one. We have a leader and he has 8 other members that are stationed in the underground area of the mall that is forbidden from the public and only used by us and higher ranking people."
Blackhawk took a bite of her sandwich and she replied, "The leader Khalafi is one of the nicest guys ever known and he usually invites out there when we're not busy here in Minnesota."
Carly sighed and replied, "Ever since that damn invasion by the Savage Beasts, we barely have any time for ourselves."
Christina then replied, "We'll do what we have to help you all out."
Carly then replied, "That means alot to me and I want to thank you all for all of your help."
They all nodded as the continued to eat.

Back in the past at about 3:00 in the afternoon, Zander was outside of a large red house that had a beautiful view of Lake Superior.
He sighed and repleid, "He is so lucky to have all of this."
He walked up the door and knocked and he replied, "Its me Zander!"
The door opened up, showing a tall bald man wearing a grey sweatshirt and black jeans and he replied, "Hey, Zander."
He nodded and replied, "Hey, Colton. How's life?"
"Pretty good. You?"
Zander sighed and replied, "I was demoted down to nobody rank and then I quit and left those bastards to come live up here in Duluth."
Colton nodded and repleid, "Got to do what you want to do. Tell any of them I lived up here?"
"Not a single person, buddy."
Colton smiled and replied, "Thank you so much. You want to stay with me until you find a better place to live? It'll be a honor for you to live here with me, Zander."
Zander then replied, "I accept your offer, buddy. What about my stuff at my hotel room in Duluth?"
"We'll both head there later and get it. Come on in."
He nodded as they both went back into the house and closed the door behind them.

Back in the future times at about 9:30, Christina and Kelly were sharing a room together and were watching TV in their pajamas.
Christina then replied, "This is such a beautiful room. These guys are lucky to have all this great stuff."
Kelly then replied, "I know, right? We won our duels already and its time for your dad and Ginny to win theirs."
"They shouldn't have any trouble at all. They're both good duelists and they'll take on anything they use against them."
"Thats sounds about right."
Christina then yawned and replied, "I can't stay awake anymore now. I am heading to bed now."
Kelly then replied, "I'm tired too, girl. Lets head to bed."

Meanwhile his room, Lucas was staring at the decks he had. On the left was his Dragon deck and the other side was his Cyber Dragon deck.
He then replied, "I wonder what I should use in this duel against that lady."
He looked at both and he nodded and replied, "Time for my Dragons to get so more chow."
He took the deck and looked through it and he replied, "Those extra cards I got for it will make this a deck of decks!"

That next morning after a great breakfast of many great things to eat, Ingrid was standing across from Lucas and both were ready to duel.
Carly then replied, "The 3rd duel of the sage showdown will begin soon. The 4th and final sage duel will be sometime this evening and Its going to be Ginny against Sebastian, our leader sage. Ingrid and Lucas..get ready!"
Both activated their disks and both drew 5 cards apiece.
Carly then replied, "Start the duel!"
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Ingrid LP: 8000 - Lucas LP: 8000)
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I'll start us off. I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "Rhino Dragon, come to the field!"
As he sat the card down, the dragon with a large horn appeared (ATK: 1,800).
Christina then replied, "Its his dragon deck now, I see.'
"Attack!"
The dragon charged in and a Skelengel appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and the dragon crushed the small fairy with its body and she drew a card.
"I'll end my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "Now I play Soul Release."
She took the skelengel and banished it and then she replied, "Since I now have no monsters in my graveyard, I can now summon my Madolche Mille-Fleur without a tribute."
As she sat the card down, a young armored female warrior appeared with a twirled rapier for a weapon appeared (ATK: 2,300).
Ginny then replied, "Madolche monsters, eh? I've heard of them."
Kelly then replied, "Those a powerful group of monster if used right. They have alot of decent effects and they're names are a combo of a royal family member, a servant or even a sound that a animal makes."
"Right you are! Attack his Dragon!"
The warrior went in and swung his blade and it struck, blowing Rhino Dragon to pieces (8000 - 7500).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Madolche Magileine!"
As she sat the card down, a cute witch with a large fork for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"When I summon her, I can add any Madoloche monster from my deck to my hand."
She took a card and added it to her hand and then she replied, "Lets do it. Mille-Fleur, attack!"
The warrior went in and a Masked Dragon apppeared on the card (DEF: 1,100) and she struck with her sword, blowing the dragon to pieces and then a 2nd Masked Dragon appeared (DEF: 1,100).
"Magileine, attack!"
She swung her fork and a burst of white dust shot and covered the dragon and it roared before it dissolved into particles and then Lucas replied, "I Special summon my Wish Dragon now!"
Suddenly, a small aged dragon appeared (ATK: 700).
"Okay then. I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I tribute my Wish Dragon for 2 tokens!"
As the old dragon vanished, two young dragons appeared (ATK: 0 x2).
"I now my two tokens for my Tyrant Dragon!"
As the tokens vanished, the mighty fiery dragon appeared with a huge roar (ATK: 2,900).
Christina then replied, "Yea, dad!"
"Now, attack!"
The dragon let out two large bursts of fire and both Madolche monsters went up in flames (Ingrid LP: 8000 - 5900) and then she shuffled the cards back into her deck.
Lucas smiled and replied, "There you go. I End my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I'll set 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I summon my Luster Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, the crystal-like dragon appeared (ATK: 1,900).
Ingrid quickly replied, "I activate Threatning Roar!"
The loud roar was heard and both dragons began to shake.
"Damn it. I end my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I activate Fiend's Sanctuary!"
Suddenly, a beady token appeared (ATK: 0).
"I offer my token for my Madolche Puddingcess!"
As the token vanished, a doll-like young girl appeared with a big smile on her face (ATK: 1,000).
"Now since I hava no cards in my graveyard, She gains 800 ATK!"
She let out a laugh (ATK: 1,000 - 1,800).
"Next, I play the spell card Madaloche Terrior Walk!"
The spell card appeared on the field.
With this card and a Madolche monster on the field, I get to Normal Summon once more! I now summon my Madolche Butlerusk!"
As she sat the card down, a young butler appeared with a plate with a steaming cup of tea on it (ATK: 1,500).
When He's summoned while I control another Madolche monster, I get a field spell card from my deck to my hand!"
She took a card from her deck and then she opened her field spell slot and replied, "I now take us the Madolche home! I activate the field spell Madolche Chateau!"
As she slid the card into the slot and it closed up, a castle made of gingerbread and candy appeared.
"This field spell gives all of my Madolche monsters 500 ATK!"
Suddenly, Puddingcess and Bulterusk began to glow (ATK: 1,800 - 2,300) - (ATK: 1,500 - 2,000).
"Lets do it. Puddingcess, attack!"
The princess doll went and gave the dragon a hard kick, blowing it to shards (Lucas LP: 7500 - 7100) and then Ingrid smiled and replied, "When she destroys a monster, she can destroy one of your cards!"
Suddenly, Tyrant Dragon exploded into a fiery cloud of black smoke and as the smoke cleared, the butler grabbed the teacup and swung it around, throwing a burst of hot tea that struck Lucas (Lucas LP: 7100 - 5100) and then he quickly refilled his cup.
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I'll set a card as well and I'll attack with Puddingcess!"
The young lady went in and a Dragon Dwelling in the Cave appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and she gave it a hard punch, blowing the dragon to pieces and then Lucas's facedown Dragon's Bead shattered into pieces and then Lucas smiled and replied, "Since you destroyed one of my monsters, I can special summon my Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon!"
As she sat the card down, a mutant dragon-like creature appeared (ATK: 2,200).
Christina then replied, "That is one of the longest names for a card."
Carly then replied, "I think Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Begining wins for the longest name in the game."
"I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I activate A Wingbeat of a Giant Dragon!"
As the purple dragon vanished, the huge windstorm began and the Madolche Terrior Walk card shattered to pieces and then the huge candy castle began to crack all over before it collapsed into a pile of broken pieces of candy and sugar which dissolved (ATK: 2,300 - 1,800) - (ATK: 2,000 - 1,500).
"Next, I play Double Spell!"
He discarded a Shard of Greed and replied, "I'm using your Fiend's Sanctuary!"
Suddenly, the beady token appeared (DEF: 0).
"I now offer my token to summon my White-Horned Dragon!"
As the token vanished, a red-skinned dragon with a large horn appeared (ATK: 2,200).
Say goodbye to the only 4 spell cards in your graveyard as I banish them!"
Suddnely, Soul Release, Madolche Chateau, Madolche Terrior Walk and Fiend's Sanctuary appeared and each of them dissoloved into grains of light (ATK: 2,200 - 3,400).
Kelly then replied, "That'll help him out."
Carly then replied, "I've heard of his Cyber Dragon Deck, but this one is even better then that one."
"Now, attack his Puddingcess!"
The dragon let out a huge burst of dark flames and they shot out and Puddingcess let out a scream before flames reduced her to ashes (Ingrid LP: 5900 - 4300) and then the young butler looked at her ash pile with sadness in his eyes.
"Okay...then. I end my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and switch my butler to defense postion and that'll end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I summon my Mirage Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, a dragon of light appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Lets do it. Mirage Dragon, attack that monster!"
The dragon opened its mouth and launched a burst of light that shot out and atomized Butlerusk.
"Dragon, attack!"
The dragon let out another burst of black flames and a Skelengel appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and the flames roasted it and then she drew another card.
"That'll be all for me."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I summon my Madolche Hootcake!"
As she sat the card down, A large small brown bird appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I Use its ability to banish a card from my graveyard to special summon a Madolche monster from my graveyard! I banish my Skelengel to special summon my Madolche Cluckcaron!"
As she banished the small fairy, a small chicken appeared with a cluck (ATK: 800).
"Since Cluckaron was a tuner, I now tune them together!"
The beast let out another cluck as he split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and rings went through Madolche Hootcake, which turned into 3 white stars as well.
"I Synchro Summon...Madolche Crowntart!"
As she sat the card down, a handsome king wearing a large gold crown on its head appeared while wearing a kings robe with a white robe and he had a large sword for a weapon (ATK: 2,400) and then she replied, "When he's Synchro Summoned, All materials in his summoning are shuffled back into the deck!"
She took the two cards and shuffled them back into her deck.
Ginny then replied, "Damn."
Kelly then replied, "Quite a powerful monster."
"As long as he remains on the field, all Madolche monsters, including himself, gain 300 attack points!"
Suddenly, he began to glow (ATK: 2,400 - 2,700).
"I play Shrink!"
Suddenly, the Dragon shrank down (ATK: 3,400 - 1,700).
"Attack!"
The fairy went and he got his sword and with quick slice of his sword, cleaved the weakened Dragon right down the middle with his sword. The two pieces shattered into pixels (Lucas LP: 5100 - 4100).
Ingrid smiled and replied, "Take that. I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Mirage Dragon to defense postion and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Ingrid then replied, "If I skip my draw phase, I can add any Madolche monster from my deck to my hand!"
She took a monster from her deck and placed it in her hand and then she replied, "I now summon the Madolche Doughknight I just summoned!"
As she sat the card down, the knight appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 1,700).
"Since I have no monsters in my graveyard, he gets 300 more attack and a piercing ability!"
Suddenly, his sword began to glow (ATK: 1,700 - 2,000).
"Attack!"
The knight went and slashed with it, blasting Mirage Dragon into little shards (Lucas LP: 4100 - 2700).
Madolche King, attack!"
The warrior went in and a dragon with emerald green scales appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and with swipe of his sword, blasted the dragon into triangles and then he replied, "When Scout Dragon is destroyed, I can special summon a dragon with 2,000 defense points or less!"
As he sat the card down, the mighty Red Eyes Black Dragon appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,400).
Carly then repleid, "Wow."
Christina smiled and replied, "It took him a long time to get that rare card, but he was so happy when he did so."
"I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I play Treasured Cards from Heaven!"
Both drew until they had 6 cards in their hand and then he replied, "I now play Polymerization to fuse my Red Eyes Black Dragon with the Camoflauge Dragon in my hand and he'll be doing the form of Summoned Skull!"
As the two dragons formed together, the mighty Black Skull Dragon appeared (ATK: 3,200).
"Attack his Doughknight with Molten Fireball Attack!"
The huge dragon unleashed a wave of fireballs and they shot out and blew Doughknight to pieces (Ingrid LP: 4300 - 3100).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my King to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I Now summon my Lancer Lindwurm!"
As he sat the card down, the dragon warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Black Sull Dragon, attack!"
The dragon unleased his fireballs once again and they shot out and smashed into the king, blowing him to shards and then she returned the card back to her Extra Deck.
"Lancer, attack!"
The dragon warrior went in and a Madolche Mewfeuille appeared on the card (DEF: 300) and lighting bolts shot out from the lance and the small cat dissolved into particles as it struck it (Ingrid LP: 3100 - 1600) and she reshuffled the card into her deck.
"Its your turn now."
Ingrid drew a card and replied, "I activate my 2nd Madolche Terrior Walk!"
The spell card reappeared.
"I now summon my Madolche Messengelato!"
As she sat the card down, a young man holding a mailbag appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I use my spells effect to Normal Summon my Madoloche Archscone!"
As he sat the card down, a young man covered in armor appeared with a small bow & arrow for a weapon (ATK: 1,600).
"I now overlay my 2 monsters!"
Both turned into white orbs and then a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I now construct the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now..Queen Madolche Tiaramisu!"
As she sat the card down, a beautiful queen appeared with a smile on her face (ATK; 2,200).
Kelly then replied, "I know her ability and he doesn't have a single Madaloche card in his graveyard!"
"I do now. I activate Diemnsional Reburial!"
A spell card appeared.
"With this spell card, I can return up to 3 banished spell cards and return them to the graveyard!"
She took the Field Spell and the Madolche Terrier Walk spell and returned them to the graveyard and then he replied, "I now remove one of his Xyz Material monsters to return my Madolche cards to my deck so I can can return that same number of your monsters!"
As she discarded the Archscone and shuffled the spells back into her deck, both of his dragons vanished from sight and he returned the Fusion back to his Extra deck.
"Attack her directly!"
The queen aimed her scepter and fired a burst of light and it shot and struck Lucas (Lucas LP: 2700 - 500).
Ingrid smiled and replied, "Next turn you are done, my friend. I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I now play Ancient Rules to bring out my Meteor Dragon!"
Suddenly, the meteor-shaped dragon appeared with a quiet roar (ATK: 1,800).
"I now play Dragon's Mirror!"
As Meteor Dragon vanished and Lucas banished his Red Eyes Black Dragon, Meteor Black Dragon appeared with a roar (ATK: 3,500).
Ingrid gulped and replied, "Oh, my."
"I attack!"
The dragon opened his mouth and and then he quickly replied, "I play Battle Fusion!"
As the dragon began to glow (ATK: 3,500 - 5,700), he launched a wave of fiery meteors and it went and she let out a sceam as the fiery meteors went in and smashed her to pieces (Ingrid LP: 1600 - 0).
Christina then repleid, "You did it, dad!"
Carly smiled and replied, "Lucas wins the duel!"
Ingrid smiled and replied, "Good dueling, Lucas."
"You too."
Carly then replied, "Last but not least, it'll be Ginny facing Sebastian and since this will be the hardest duel, we'll give them until tomorrow morning to prepare to duel."
Ginny then replied, "Thank you."
Carly then replied, "Just promise us a excellent match tomorrow!"
"Will do, Carly. Will do."

When this card is destroyed in battle: Special summon 1 Dragon-type monster from your deck with 2,000 DEF or less.
Camoflauge Dragon
Dragon/Effect/Wind/ATK: 1,200/DEF: 1,000/4 Stars
This card can be used a substitue for a Dragon-Type Fusion monster and the other card used in the Fusion Summon must be the correct one.

Madolche Mille-Fleur
Warrior/Effect/Earth/ATK: 2,300/DEF: 1,800/5 Stars
When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card back into your deck. If you have no cards in your graveyard: You can normal summon this card without a tribute. When this card attacks while you have no cards in your graveyard, your opponet cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the damage step.
Madaloche Terrior Walk / Continuous Spell Card

When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card back into your Extra Deck. All monster used to Synchro Summon this card are returned to your deck. all "Madoloche" monsters gain 300 ATK. By skipping your draw phase: Add 1 "Madolche" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only control 1 "Madolche King Crowntart".
