Chapter 30: Beasts of the Sky

Back at the bunker, Carly was discussing about everything was going on.
She sighed and replied, "If we don't stop them soon, it'll be a gang-filled future for Minneapolis. We should of done this earlier, but this our time to do so and wipe them idiots out!"
Tiffany then replied, "Where they the guy that sent that creep that made those boneheads?"
"Yes, young lady."
"I can't wait to clobber them good!"
Carly then replied, "Everytime we defeat one, we got one step closer to taking them down for good!"
Christina raised her hand and Carly saw her hand and replied, "Yes, Christina?"
"Have they found out anything about who killed my mother?"
She sighed and replied, "Not a thing yet. Since these bastards have been in damn city, we've been busy, but we do have someone working on it right now, so don't give up yet, young lady."
"I won't and I want to duel the bastard myself!"
"I understand and I agree with your choice to duel the gang member, Christina."
She looked at Nancy replied, "You've made a impressive deck and its quite powerful and you used it like a true pro!"
Nancy smiled and replied, "Thank you so much, Carly."
Carly then replied, "We have sleeping bunkers all over the underground area, so find one and get some rest. The fight for the future will be a long road, but we'll get through it together and kick some ass!"
Sebastian then replied, "We have the best security system in the world working here, so we'll be good to go."

That night in their HQ, Slade, Shade and Bulldog were talking about what was going to happen soon.
Bulldog then replied, "I should of never sent that idiot Kreiger out to spy on them!"
Shade then replied, "Don't worry about it now, Bulldog. We have the skills and the powerful to take over the city."
Slade then replied, "Lets do it."
Shade nodded as he turned to a picture of himself and his and he replied, "Darkious...beastious!"
Suddenly, the picture slid down, revealing a small iron chest with a lock on it.
Bulldog looked puzzled and replied, "What is in it?"
Slade smiled and replied, "You'll see."
Shade took a gold key from his pocket and unlocked it and then a small black orb of energy flew out of it and Bulldog then replied, "What the hell..?"
Shade then replied, "Its called the Orb of Hellish Shadows. When this orb is used, the whole state will be trapped in a dome of darkness. No one will be able to get in and no can leave until this orb remains in one piece!"
"Oh, I get it now!", Bulldog said with a laugh. "With the dome blocking the state, we can spread our gang all over the state so that they'll have a hard time dueling us!"
Slade nodded and replied, "My boy, you finally understand my plan now. Less attention, the better."
Shade turned it and he replied, "Activate...NOW!"
Suddenly, the black orb turned dark red and then it vanished.
Bulldog then replied, "What will happen to the normal citizens of this state?"
"I have no idea."

That next day, Carly called in everyone to the bunker to talk about what what was happening outside.
Tiffany then replied, "I look outside and somesort of dark barrier was covering the whole city! The sky is normal, but no one can get in or out!"
Lucas then replied, "It must of been those bastards from the Beasts! They're trying everything and anything to stop us and help them achieve their goal of taking over the city and possibly the world!"
Christina then replied, "We won't let that happen anytime soon!"
Suddenly, Carly and Sebastian came in the room and James raised his hand and replied, "What the hell is going on outside?"
Carly sighed and replied, "That leader of the current gang in this state used a evil artifact called the Orb of Hellish Shadows to make that barrier! As long its activated, noone can leave or enter the city!"
Kelly then replied, "We need to find their HQ and wipe that item out!"
Sebastian then replied, "We know, we know!"
Suddenly, another member of the Future Fighters from the future came in and she repleid, "Mistress Carly!"
Carly looked at her and replied, "What is it, Melissa?"
The tech worker then replied, "We just found out that a married couple was ambushed in that giant Target store in the downtown area by a single gangster and he challenged them both and won and then he challenged the owner of the building and wiped him out as well in a duel!"
Carly then replied, "Damn, this ain't good. This is Melissa by the way. She's a tech junkie from the future and she asked myself to help her out if I can send her and her best friend Caitlin to help out and I accepted that."
Sebastian then repleid, "Now thats settled, who is the jerk that beat them all, Melissa?"
"That thief Rudy!"
Lucas then replied, "No damn way! My brother and Fenton put the jerk away!"
Carly sighed and replied, "They somehow got all of the members loose from prison somehow! With them and the current members of this timeline, this will be alot of hell all over again!"
Christina smiled and replied, "I dueled that jerk and beat him and I can do it again!"
James looked at her and replied, "Mind if I have a duel with this jerk? My 2nd deck is all ready to go and I want to use it!"
Christina nodded and replied, "Sure. If you are defeated, I'll crush that freak!"
Carol smiled and replied, "That won't be happening, Christina! My guy has a awesome deck ready to be used!"
Sebastian then replied, "Honey, you still here and I'll go with James and the ladies to this duel!"
Carly then replied, "Keep a close eye on them and I trust you, honey."
Sebastian nodded and everyone got up and left and she sighed and replied, "Good luck to you all."

The Target store in Downtown Minneapolis was still the biggest one of its kind (Being that Target started in Minnesota) and many shoppers come and spend their money on stuff. The recently released Rudy was in the snack bar area and near where he and 1 other gangster wiped the married couple and the owner in a duel.
Rudy laughed and replied, "Lets warm up some food!"
The other member nodded and replied, "I don't know a thing about how to cook!"
"Should of figured!"
"YOU!", James yelled out as the gang entered through the main entry of the area and Rudy saw Christina and he replied, "Well, if it isn't the fire bitch that beat me!"
Christina then replied, "You should of stayed in the slammer, asshole!"
Rudy then replied, "Don't care and I want a rematch with you!"
Suddenly, James raised his hand and replied, "I challenge you to a duel first."
"You're nuts, dude! I'm only dueling her and thats it!"
Christina then replied, "Afraid to duel him, dude? I will only duel you if you beat him in a duel."
"Lets head outside of this place and have our duel!"

Outside of the building, the two duelists were standing across from each other on the street while everyone was watching from nearby benches.
Rudy then replied, "I have better cards for my deck now and I can't wait to kick some butt!"
James then repleid, "You won't win."
Both activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Rudy LP: 8000 - James LP: 8000)
James drew a card and replied, "I'll start us off with 1 facedown monster and 1 other card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I summon my Mechanicalchaser!"
As he sat the card down, the many-armed machine appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Attack!"
The machine went and a large airship with a metal turtle shell appeared and (DEF: 2,000) and the machine struck it with its prod and a few sparks flew from it (Rudy LP: 8000 - 7850).
James smiled and replied, "My Mecha Phantom Beast Turtletracer has better defense then your machine, scum!"
"Damn it! I end my turn now."
Christina then replied, "Mecha Phantom Beasts? Cool."
Sebastian nodded and replied, "Very powerful set of monsters that use their own kind of tokens to protect them and use their abilites!"
James drew a card and replied, "Mecha Phantom Beast Tetherwolf, come to battle!"
As he sat the card down, a Boeing AH-64 Apache airship with the image of a wolf appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"When its summoned, I get a Mecha Phantom Beast token!"
Suddenly, a small airplane and it flew onto the field and landed (DEF: 0).
"I enter the battle phase and I'm attacking your Mechanicalchaser!"
The airship flew in towards the machine..
Kelly then replied, "What's he up to?"
"I now tribute my token to give him a quite 800 point boost until the end phase!"
As the token flew into the helicopter (ATK: 1,700 - 2,500) two machine guns appeared on the ship and it fired a barrage of shells and they struck, blowing the machine into a pile of broken metal (Rudy LP: 7850 - 7200).
"There you go. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Suddenly, the airship weakened (ATK: 2,500 - 1,700).
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I'll set a couple of cards facedown and I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I now activate my Aerial Recharge trap card!"
The trap appeared.
Rudy smiled and replied, "I Chain it with Psychic Shockwave!"
The trap appeared.
"Now, I can special summon a dark level 6 machine monster and this trap was made for .this badass!"
As the trap flipped up, the famous trap-destroyer used by Joey Wheeler appeared and its eyes where glowing red as well (ATK: 2,400).
"The only and only Jinzo!"
Christina then replied, "Damn."
Suddenly, the Aerial Recharge trap shattered to bits.
"Damn. I'll switch my Tetherwolf to defense and that'll do it for me."
Suddenly, the large machine landed on the street (DEF: 1,200).
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I play Fiend's Sanctuary!"
Suddenly, a beady token appeared (ATK: 0).
"I tribute it for my Motor Violence!"
As the token vanished, the double-gun dark motor appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"I now equip my Jinzo with Fairy Meteor Crush!"
Suddenly, he began to glow.
"Now, I equip my Motor Violence with Engine Tuner!"
Suddenly, it began to glow (ATK: 2,100 - 2,700).
"Lets do it. Jinzo, smash that airship with Cyber Energy Shock!"
Suddenly, a ball of dark energy appeared in its hands and it launched it, smashing into the airships hull. Sparks flew from where it struck and then it exploded into scrap (James LP: 8000 - 6800).
"Violence, attack!"
The machine fired a barrage of bullets and they struck as well, blowing Turtletracer to scrap.
"There you go! I end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I play Heavy Storm!"
The storm began and Rudy's facedown Limitor Removal lifted and shattered to pieces and then both equip cards shattered into pieces as well and Rudy smiled and replied, "No big deal."
"It will be soon. Since you have a monster and I don't, can special summon my Solar Wind Jammer!"
As he played card, a futuristic space machine appeared (DEF: 2,400 - 1,200).
"Next, I Summon my Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion!"
As he sat the card down, another one of the beastly machines appeared and this small machine had a lion-like face (ATK: 600).
"I now tune my 2 machines together!"
The smaller machine split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and they went through Solar Wind Jammer, which turned into 5 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon...Mecha Phantom Beast Concoruda!"
As he sat the card down, a large jet appeared infront of James (ATK: 2,400).
"Since O-Lion was sent to the graveyard, I get a token!"
Suddenly, a smaller form of the machine appeared (DEF: 0).
Rudy then repleid, "I'll take that thing down easily!"
James smiled and replied, "Will you know? I play Shrink!"
Suddenly, Jinzo shrank down (ATK: 2,400 - 1,200).
"Attack it!"
Suddenly, two hatches opened on the machine and it fired two missles and Jinzo exploded into broken pieces of metal as the missles struck it down (Rudy LP: 7200 - 6000).
James smiled and replied, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "You are annoying me now! I'll switch my Motor to defense and then I'll set a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Mecha Phantom Beast Megaraptor!"
As he sat the card down, a F-22 Raptor flew onto the field and its front was in the shape of Velciraptor (ATK: 1,900).
"I forgot to mention that as long as Concoruda is on the field, my tokens cannot be destroyed in battle and since I have a token, Megaraptor cannot be targeted in battle or be targeted by card effects! Attack!"
The Synchro fired two missles and they struck, blasting the rusty machine to pieces and then two tokens appeared (DEF: 0 x2).
"Megaraptor, attack!"
A hatch on the smaller machine opened it and it fired and struck, blowing one of the tokens to pieces.
"Whatever you say. I end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I summon Jinzo - Retuner!"
As he sat the card down, a smaller form of Jinzo appeared (ATK; 600).
"I now play Psychic Wave!"
The spell appeared.
"With this card, I can discard a Jinzo from my deck and then you take damage equal to my Returner's attack!"
As he discarded the card, the small machine began to glow as it launched a wave of psychic energy that shot out and struck the former soldier (James LP: 6800 - 6200).
"Its special ability allows it to attack directly and I will do so..NOW!"
The machine went and punched James in the stomach (James LP: 6200 - 5600).
"There you go! I'll set a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I don't know what you're up to, but I'm not following for it! I first play Iron Call. I first use my Megaraptors ability to tribute a token so I can add any Mecha Phantom Beast monster from my deck to my hand!"
As the token flew into sky and vanished, He took a monster from his deck and placed it in his hand and then he replied, "Since I have exactly two machine monsters, I can play Iron Draw to draw 2 cards!"
He did so and replied, "I'll end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I now pay 500 lifepoints to activate my facedown card Weed Out!"
The trap apppeared.
"With this card, all level 3 and lower monsters are wiped out!"
As he glowed (Rudy LP: 6000 - 5500), the small android shattered to little bits and then he replied, "When Jinzo - Returner is destroyed, I can special summon the main thing!"
Suddenly, Jinzo appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Since It'll be destroyed during my end phase, I'll tribute it for its upgraded form!"
As the android vanished, its upgraded form appeared with somesort of metal tentacles coming out of its back (ATK: 2,600).
"This is the mighty Jinzo - Lord!"
Christina nodded and replied, "Not a monster you see everyday."
Kelly then replied, "Dang."
"Once again, all traps can't be used, But doesn't bother me. Attack his Concurda!"
The machine began and it shot a huge burst of dark energy and it shot out and went cleanly through the Synchro. Seconds later, broken pieces of the machine fell to the ground with a clatter (James LP: 6200 - 6000).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I'll activate Foolish Burial!"
He took a monster and discarded and then he reshuffled and replied, "I'll now set a monster and switch Megaraptor to defense postion and then I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Suddenly, Megaraptor landed on the field (DEF: 1,000).
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Devil Engine!"
As he sat the card down, a small motor with a evil face appeared (ATK: 900).
"I now equip it to my Jinzo - Lord as a equip spell card!"
Suddenly, the union monster flew and attached to Jinzo-Lord's chest (ATK: 2,600 - 3,000).
"It now has a piercing ability and also gains 400 attack! Attack his Megaraptor!"
The machine lord powered up and fired a huge burst of dark energy, smashing the helicopter to pieces (James LP: 6000 - 4000).
"You'll never beat me! I end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I flip my facedown monster up!"
As he flipped the card up, another airborne machine appeared and it looked a jet (ATK: 1,600).
"Next, I banish 2 wind monsters from my graveyard to summon my Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms!"
As he banished his Megaraptor and O-Lion, the dragon ruler of the winds appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"I now discard my Silent Strider now!"
Suddenly, the dragon began to glow (LV: 7 - 6).
"I now tune all 3 of my monsters together!"
the machine split apart into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Tempest, which turned into 6 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon...Floatress!"
As he sat the card down, a HUGE Floating fortress appeared high in the sky (ATK: 0)!
Christina then replied, "Thats a cool looking monster!"
Kelly then replied, "Damn right it is."
"When its Synchro Summoned, I can special summon a level 9 monster from my graveyard and I Choose my Deep-Space Cruiser IX I discarded with my Foolish Burial!"
Suddenly, a space-age machine appeared (ATK: 900).
"I now overlay my 2 machines!"
Both turned into green orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"With these monsters, I construct the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now..Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir!"
As he sat the card down, a even larger aircraft carrier appeared floating in the sky (ATK: 2,900).
Kelly nodded and replied, "What a deck he uses."
Carol nodded and replied, "My guys deck is top-notch and really powerful."
"I now use one Xyz Material monster to banish your monster!"
As he discarded the Floatcastle, Jinzo-Lord simply vanished and the Devil Engine fell to the ground and shattered to bits.
"Attack him directly!"
Suddenly, cannons came out of the huge machine and they aimed and fired, striking the gang member down (Rudy LP: 6000 - 3100).
Carol smiled and replied, "You can do it, babe!"
James smiled and replierd, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I use its last Xyz Material monster to banish another of your monsters!"
Rudy quickly replied, "Not a chance, sir! I activate Breakthrough Skill!"
Suddenly, sparks flew from carrier.
"Whatever. Attack his facedown monster!"
The machine fired its cannons and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) before the cannons obliterated the jar and both discarded what they had left in their decks and drew 5 new cards and then he replied, "Okay then. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I activate Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Double Coston appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"This was in my hand when you flipped my jar! I now tribute it for The Big Saturn!"
As the ghosts let out a cackle before vanishing, the imfamous huge dark android from Christina's duel appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Christina then replied, "I knew he'd have thing summoned sooner or later.'
"I use its ability and pay 1000 lifepoints and discard 1 card!"
As he began to glow (Rudy LP: 3100 - 2100) and he discarded a Devil Engine to the graveyard, many cannons appeared on the huge machine (ATK: 2,800 - 3,800).
"Attack that big eyesore!"
The huge machine aimed its cannons and a fired a huge burst of energy and it shot and smashed right through the hull of the carrier. explosions happened all over the huge machine before erupted into a huge fiery explosion (James LP: 4000 - 2900).
Rudy laughed and replied, "Awesome! I end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card as well and that'll end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I Summon my Twin-Barrel Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, the dark machine of luck appeared (ATK: 1,700).
Kelly then replied, "If it hits, this duel is over."
Christina then replied, "Lets hope for the best."
"I select your facedown monster!"
As the machine aimed at the facedown card, the thief got two coins out of his pocket and he flipped one into the air and the first one landed on heads.
Carol then replied, "If he gets a another one, James will lose!"
Sebastian then repleid, "Come on.."
He flipped the other coin into the air and it flew into the air.
"Please..be a tails.", Carol said quietly.
A few seconds later..it landed on a tails!
Carol smiled and replied, "Too close."
"Whatever. Big Saturn, attack!"
The huge machine launched its cannons and they shot out and a Dandylion appeared on the card (DEF: 300) before the lasers atomized the small plant and then two seeds appeared (DEF: 0 x2).
Christina then replied, "Even if the attack would of went through, He would still be in this duel!"
The weaker machine fired a laser and vaporized one of the small seeds.
"Thats all I can do for now."
James drew a card and replied, "I play Junk Dealer!"
Suddenly, Solar Wind Jammer (ATK: 1,000 - 500) and a Mecha Phantom Beast Tetherwolf appeared (ATK: 1,700 - 850) and both were dented, but still moving.
"Next, I activate Level Embrace! I banish 1 monster from my graveyard and all of my monsters level become that!"
As he took his Dragon Ruler card and banished it, both machines began to glow (LV: 5 - 7) - (LV: 4 - 7).
"I now overlay my 2 Level 7 monsters!"
Both turned into green orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"With these monsters, I construct the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now..Mecha Phantom Beast Draccosack!"
As he sat the card down, a huge airship with a dragon-like tail appeared (ATK: 2,600).
Christina then replied, "That thing is quite a popular card in lots of Extra Decks these days."
"I now remove one Xyz Material monster to special summon 2 tokens!"
As he discarded the Solar Wind Jammer, two smaller forms of the Xyz appeared (DEF: 0 x2).
"I now send one token away to special summon my Duck Fighter!"
As token vanished into grains of light, a jet in the shape of a duck appeared (ATK: 1,300).
He opened his field slot and replied, "I now play Risning Air Current!"
As he slid the card into the slot and it closed and he pushed a button on his disk, the field spell appeared (ATK: 1,300 - 1,800) (ATK: 2,600 - 3,100).
"Lets do it. Duck Fighter, attack!"
The machine opened its bottom hatch and it fired and it struck, blowing Twin-Barrel Dragon into a pile of broken metal.
"Draccosack, attack!"
Suddenly, machine guns appeared on the wings and it fired a barrage of shells and they shot out and struck the huge dark machine and sparks flew from when the bullets struck and then it exploded into a fiery burst of energy (Rudy LP: 2100 - 1700).
"There you go. I End my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
James drew a card and replied, "I'll set a card and I'll use my Draccosack's ability to tribute a token to wipe out your facedown trap card!"
As the token vanished, the machine fired a barrage of bullets and and his facedown Mirror Force shattered to pieces.
"I can't attack, but I'll attack with my Duck Fighter!"
The machine fired a couple of missles and a Mechanicalchaser appeared on the card (DEF: 850) and the missles blew it to pieces.
"I end my turn now."
Rudy drew a card and replied, "I now play Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and the field spell was blown to pieces as well (ATK: 1,800 - 1,300) - (ATK: 3,100 - 2,600).
"I now play Overload Fusion and I'm fusing my Big Saturn with a Mechanichaser!"
As the two machines appeared and merged together, a much larger form of The Big Saturn appeared and it had 2 large cannons on its sides and it had a larger fist appeared (ATK: 3,600).
"Meet the The Ultimate Saturn!"
Christina then replied, "Damn man."
"I banish 1 dark monster to use its ability!"
As he banished his Motor Violence, the machine began to glow (ATK: 3,600 - 4,600).
"Say goodbye! Attack his Duck Fighter!"
The machine fired two huge lasers and it shot out towards the large Xyz..
James quickly replied, "I activate Stuanch Defender!"
The laser attack shot and went cleanly through the front of the huge airship and then small explosions happened all over it before it exploded into flaming debris that rained down onto the ground (James LP: 2900 - 900).
Rudy laughed and replied, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Suddenly, its attack went back to normal.
James drew a card and replied, "I summon my 2nd Mecha Phantom Beast Tetherwolf!"
As he sat the card down, another of the air machines appeared (ATK: 1,700) and then a token appeared (DEF: 0).
"I now play Mini-Guts!"
As a token vanished, sparks flew from the machine (ATK: 3,600 - 0).
Rudy gulped and replied, "No..way."
"You're finished! Tetherwolf, attack his Ultimate Saturn!"
Two hatches opened on the machine and it fired a barrage of bullets and they struck the huge machine and it exploded into globs of fiery slag and broken metal (Rudy LP: 1700 - 0).
Carol smiled and replied, "Told ya all my baby's deck is unstoppable!"
Rudy laughed and replied, "You may of beat me, but my fellow gangasters will wipe you all out!"
Suddenly, he vanished into a cloud of black smoke and Sebastian nodded and replied, "That what happens when you lose."
James then replied, "Lets go check on those people now."

Psychic Wave / Normal Spell Card

Activate only by sending 1 "Jinzo" from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard while a face-up Attack Position "Jinzo - Returner" is on the field. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of a face-up "Jinzo - Returner" you control.
Note: this card was first used by Makoto Inotsume in Yugioh GX episode 163 and creative credit goes to the writers of that episode.
Iron Draw / Normal Spell Card

If you control exactly 2 Machine-Type monsters: Draw 2 cards.
Note: This card was used by Bronk in the Yugioh Zexal episode "Roots of the Problem" and creative credit goes to the writers of that episode.
Engine Tuner / Equip Spell Card
Image: Many mechanics with their tools.
The equipped monster is changed to Attack Position and remains in Attack Position while this card is face-up on the field. It gains ATK equal to half of its DEF. When the equipped monster is destroyed, this card remains on the field and can be equipped to another face-up monster you control during your Main Phase.
Note: This card was used by Bandit Keith in the Yugioh R manga and creative credit goes to the writers of that manga.
Devil Engine
Machine/Union/Effect/Dark/ATK: 800/DEF: 800/3 Stars
Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 Machine-type face-up monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position.
