Chapter 28: Last Duel! Team Satisfaction!
Yusei's riding through a wasteland of debris, dotted with low buildings. The next of the four Stars of Destiny appears over the horizon, as he races toward it.
Sakura, with Usagi sitting behind her, holding onto her around the waist, and Grim lying down on his specially built-in platform, and Crow, on their D-Wheels, are riding alongside Ushio and both sets of twins, in their jeep, somewhere back along the road. "Yusei and Kiryu are finally going to settle things." Crow thinks to himself.
"Is Yusei going to be okay?" Luca asks. "Yusei will definitely win." Says Lua. Luca nods, nervously, and looks at her right arm. Subaru and Velvet both seem wary, keeping their eyes downcast, they can feel that their father is nearby.
Sakura's looking down at her own arm, as well, the burning sensation in her arm is intensifying as she nears the tower.
Yusei approaches the tower, resolutely.
Kiryu's waiting at the base of it, on his D-Wheel. "You came, Yusei!" Kiryu says. He twists the right-hand accelerator and rides out toward Yusei, arcing around and leaping into the air before bulleting toward him, forcing him into a small game of chicken.
The two D-Wheels are feet away from colliding.
Yusei, with a yell of effort, is the first to turn aside, braking harshly.
Kiryu does the same, laughing, wickedly. "Hahahahaha!"
"Kiryu!" Says Yusei.
"It's finally time to finish Team Satisfaction's last duel that we started long ago!" Kiryu says.
"Last duel…" Says Yusei.
Flashback. In a dimly-lit building, Kiryu walks to Yusei, Crow and Jack, all four wearing the brown vests of Team Satisfaction, he's laughing, hysterically, a forerunner of his crazy laugh in the present, as he grips their shoulders in a huddle. Yusei and Jack look concerned and slightly freaked, and Crow's hidden from view. Kiryu lets them go and looks back at the window behind him. The only light in the room is shining from searchlights through the broken windows. "Hehehehehehahah! We're all here!" Kiryu says.
He walks to the window and looks out of it. Since the days of fighting duel gangs, his eyes have developed a nasty edge. "This will be Team Satisfaction's last duel!" Says Kiryu.
Outside, twelve Security officers are in view and several more who aren't, at least one patrol car, three D-Wheels, two massive tank-like vehicles shining the searchlights right on the window he's standing in. A huge force of Security, standing outside in the street, in the rain, all led by a man in Security uniform with an orange bandanna and a hilariously pointy mustache, who retorts. "Duel and capture them!"
The scene starts to get familiar as it gets worse. Security D-Wheels scatter in all directions.
Crow's running through the rain, eyes wide and intense with fear, face lit with lightning.
Jack's standing in the street, soaked and just as scared. "Where are you, Kiryu?" Jack asks, shouting into the storm.
In a dark alley somewhere, lit only by the lightning. Kiryu, his face, hands and clothes coated in blood, is standing over a fallen Security officer on the ground, with blood forming a small puddle beneath him, is completely motionless, not even breathing.
He soon sets his sights on Sakura, who's down on the ground, barely moving or conscious.
Kiryu advances on her, only for Yusei to run in and place himself over her, in an attempt to keep him from doing anything to her. "Kiryu, stop!" Says Yusei.
And there they were, wrestling for all they were worth, rolling over and over in the rainy street until finally he pinned Kiryu to the ground. He screams his fury, shrill with the reckless madness that seems to have taken hold of him. "Yusei!" Kiryu says. Grimly, Yusei holds his ground, pain in his eyes.
As Kiryu's led away by two Security officers, he looks back over his shoulder one last time, and, standing in the light of a patrol car's headlights, the officer with the mustache claps Yusei on the shoulder, as one might pet a dog. He glared back. "Heheheheheh."
Kiryu can't believe his eyes, can't bear to see what he's seeing. He loses it. "Uugh, uagh! Yusei!" Says Kiryu.
"Huh?" Yusei asks.
Kiryu lunges forward, and is dragged back by two Security officers gripping his arms and towing him toward a van. "You betrayed me! You sold me out!" Says Kiryu.
Yusei's surprised. "You're wrong, Kiryu!" Yusei says, trying to explain the misunderstanding.
And the two Security officers throw Kiryu into the prison van. He scrambles to his hands and knees, fighting for all he's worth to get at Yusei. "Yusei!" Says Kiryu, screaming himself hoarse. And the doors slammed shut. The flashback ends.
Back to the present. The sky above them now is just as dark.
"Kiryu…" Yusei says.
"Heheheh! Let's begin." Says Kiryu.
"Rrrgh." Yusei growls under his breath.
Sakura is riding ahead of the jeep now.
Crow's following not too far behind her, as the tower and the two D-Wheels come into view. "There it is. Yusei! Kiryu!" Crow says.
Sakura notices a nearby highway running parallel to their road. She turns left.
Crow and the jeep follow.
Sakura leads them up onto the highway, then pulls over to the side nearest the duel, a safe vantage point. She gets off of her D-Wheel and the other seven hurry over, crowding around it. Grim stands up, the harness fastened around him and the chain hooked up to his collar both detach, and he steps off of his specially built-in platform. A safe vantage point for this duel is a distant one, they can't even see Yusei and Kiryu from here, but they see the tower. Velvet moves closer to her mother and tugs at her tailcoat. "Mommy…" Says Velvet. Sakura looks down at her. "You want to meet him firsthand, don't you?" Sakura asks. Velvet releases her hold on her tailcoat and holds her hands close to her chest, looking over at where her father and uncle are. "I just… might not be able to get the chance to after this duel ends. I've always wanted to know daddy, meet him if I got the chance." Says Velvet. "Your father's not exactly in his right mind. Are you sure you want to meet him the way he is now?" Sakura asks. Velvet looks up at her, meeting her mother's gaze, and nods. Sakura then looks back at Subaru, who's standing next to Crow. "What about you? Do you feel the same way, Subaru?" Asks Sakura. Subaru, unlike his twin, seems more hesitant in meeting his father. "I'm scared of him. He might try to hurt us. What if he hates us?" Subaru asks. "I shall be with you, and so will your uncle. We won't let him hurt you or Velvet. Your father's hatred is towards me and your uncle, not you and your sister." Says Sakura. She offers Subaru her hand. He looks at his mother's offered hand and runs over to her, hugging her around her waist, burying his face in her clothes. Sakura holds Subaru close to herself, brushing at his hair, consolingly. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Ushio asks. Sakura sighs, slightly. "No. However, who am I to deny them the chance to meet their father for the first time in their lives. A chance that may not come again." Says Sakura. She moves Subaru out of her hold, who looks up at her. "Can Grim come with us, for extra security?" Subaru asks. "Of course." Says Sakura. She offers Subaru her hand, who takes it. Sakura then offers Velvet her other hand, who walks over and takes it. She summons forth one of her portals and steps into it, with the twins holding onto a hand each, and Grim following alongside them. The portal soon closes up and Sakura, Subaru and Velvet are gone, along with Grim.
"It's the last duel, Yusei!" Kiryu says. He whips off his cloak and in the same motion, raises his right arm high. Kiryu's mark starts to glow a vibrant fuchsia, and is answered with a wave of purple fire appearing out of nowhere, igniting the ground around them and drawing the mark of the giant in purple fire for their dueling field.
Crow, Ushio, Usagi and the twins watch the mark of the giant appear. "It's starting." Says Crow.
Across the Satellite. Jack brakes, seeing the outline on the clouds. "Kiryu and Yusei…" Jack thinks to himself.
"Let's go, Yusei. Eheheheheh! I've returned from the edge of death to kick you into the fires of revenge. By using the power of Earthbound Immortal!" Kiryu says.
"Kiryu, you were never like this. You cared about us more than anyone else." Yusei thinks to himself.
Flashback. Team Satisfaction-vested, fifteen-year-old Yusei hangs from the edge of a building by a whip, fifteen-year-old Sakura threw down to him.
She grips the other end, leaning after him, gripping a broken railing that once kept people from falling off the roof. A bar of the railing bends and fractures open, it's about to give out.
"Aaaaaah! Sakura, it's fine! Let go! Or else, you'll also..." Yusei says.
"No! I shall not forsake you! You're my brother!" Says Sakura.
Grim suddenly stands up and starts growling at Kiryu, who's now standing behind her.
"What are you doing here, Red-Eyed Raven?" Kiryu asks.
Grim just keeps snarling at him, standing his ground. Sakura looks up and over at Kiryu from the corner of her eyes. "As you can see, I'm in a bit of a predicament at the moment. I don't have time to deal with you, Kyosuke. Grim, sick him!" Says Sakura. At her command, Grim lunges at Kiryu and knocks him over, biting down on the arm he's shielding himself with.
Sakura starts trying to pull Yusei up again, which is really becoming an effort for her to keep hanging onto him. A sudden thud, followed by a whimper, can be heard.
When Sakura turns to look, Kiryu grabs her by the hair and the throat, she's then able to see that he threw Grim off of himself and onto the ground. He starts bringing her near the edge, as she's still holding onto the whip that's keeping Yusei from meeting his end.
"Kiryu, stop! Leave her alone!" Yusei says, yelling.
"Huh?" Asks Kiryu. He looks down, past Sakura, who he still has in a tight choke-hold. "Yusei?" Kiryu asks.
"Let her go, Kiryu! She saved me..." Says Yusei.
"Saved you? But, she's an enemy." Kiryu says.
"No, she isn't. Not to us, anyway." Says Yusei.
Kiryu, though hesitant, lets go of Sakura, who falls to her knees, breathing heavily. He then takes the whip from her and takes over pulling Yusei up. The flashback ends.
Back to the present. "That's right. That's why I'll save you in this duel." Yusei thinks to himself. His sign is burning crimson, as he twists the gas and gets onto the same par with Kiryu, an informal starting-line.
The two duelists share one last look.
Yusei's steady royal blue eyes blaze with purpose.
The twins, Usagi, Ushio and Crow wait, anxiously. "Yusei, you still haven't given up on Kiryu." Crow says.
Before the Riding Duel can start, a black and red portal suddenly appears before Kiryu and Yusei. Sakura soon comes walking out from it, with Grim directly at her side, and as soon as they step out of it, the portal closes up behind them.
"Well, hello my darling. I was going to whisk you away once I finished with Yusei. You saved me the trouble of hunting you down." Says Kiryu.
"Sakura, why are you…?" Yusei asks.
"I have a request… for Kyosuke." Says Sakura.
"Hahahahahaha! Finally came to your senses, I see." Kiryu says. He steps off of his D-Wheel. "Unfortunately, I have no intentions of indulging you, my lovely." Says Kiryu. He strides towards Sakura. "Once I'm finished with your brother, you're mine." Kiryu says.
Sakura makes a gesture to Grim, who heeds it and backs away from her.
Kiryu notices this and stops in his tracks. "What's this?" Asks Kiryu.
Yusei's watching, very much bemused by Sakura's actions.
"As I said, I have a request for you, Kyosuke." Sakura says.
"I told you already, I won't listen to your pleas." Says Kiryu. He continues walking over to her, stopping when he's standing in front of her. "When this is over with, I'll be bringing you to your father and then he'll give you over to me." Kiryu says. Sakura folds her arms over her chest. "I didn't come down here to plead with you or be indulged by you. There is someone here who would like to meet you, two of them actually." Says Sakura.
Velvet peeks out from behind her, clutching her mother's tailcoat, nervously.
Subaru, following after his twin, does the same, clinging close to Sakura, gripping at her tailcoat, tightly. Kiryu looks down at them, his facial expressions change only slightly, as he meets his kids for the first time. He then brings his attention back to Sakura. "This doesn't change anything between us. You and I were destined to be enemies." Kiryu says. "Of course not. I shall never forgive you for what you have done. I'm only doing this because they wanted to meet you, for once in their life." Says Sakura. "Fine." Kiryu says. He backs away from Sakura a bit and looks down at his young twins. Subaru and Velvet are also, for the first time ever in their lives, meeting the chartreuse eyes of their father. Sakura places her hand on Subaru's head, lightly. "Kyosuke, this is Subaru, your son." Says Sakura. Subaru, still a little timid, clings closer to her, trying to make himself look small. "He's always been a shy boy." Sakura says. Kiryu's looking over his son's appearance, seeing every bit of himself in the young boy, from the shared facial shape to the inherited light blue hair, albeit Subaru's being wavy, and the boy having slightly pale skin, two traits he gets from his mother. He then looks into the scarlet-red eyes of his son, the rare colored eye trait that he inherited from Sakura. "I see he inherited your rare red eye trait. So, does that mean he gained a trace of the Crimson Dragon's powers from you, too?" Asks Kiryu. "He's still too young yet to know for sure. However, as I have come to accept my role as the Crimson Dragon's Host, I'm starting to sense his untapped abilities. Not just him, either." Sakura says. She touches the back of Velvet's head, lightly. "Her, as well. This is Velvet, your daughter." Says Sakura. Velvet, unlike her twin, moves forward a bit, looking up at her father, unnerved. "She is the one who most wanted to meet you." Sakura says. "Is that so?" Asks Kiryu. He looks down at Velvet, meeting her amber eyes, an eye color trait she inherited from him, albeit his being chartreuse. Kiryu moves to look over his daughter's appearance, seeing every bit of Sakura in her, from the reminiscent facial shape to the raven black tresses, albeit lacking the red gradation that her mother possesses, and hers being straight like his, and her having a fair complexion, two traits that she got from him. "Twins?" Kiryu asks. "Yes, born three hours apart from each other." Says Sakura. Kiryu looks back up at her. "You kept them, even despite the circumstances?" Kiryu asks. "I didn't have much of a choice in the matter. However, I was never able to hate them. I gave birth to them, saved them from Godwin's hands and raised them, all on my own." Says Sakura. "You expect me to pity you?" Kiryu asks. "I don't expect anything from you, Kyosuke. You died and came back as a Dark Signer. There is nothing between us, there never was. You forced yourself on me and impregnated me with them. Subaru and Velvet are mine and yours, that is all there is between us." Says Sakura. Kiryu smirks. "You made everything so easy for me, Sakura. You didn't just bring yourself to me, but you also brought them. When I found out about them, I had already planned to bring them before your father, too. You saved me the trouble of hunting all three of you down. My legacy will live on through them. As for you, you'll become my personal plaything. I just have to deal with your brother and then, your life writhing beneath me will begin. Hahahahaha!" Kiryu says. Sakura is glaring into his eyes, dark-crimson red meeting chartreuse.
Yusei seems just as angered at Kiryu's intentions towards his sister, nephew and niece. "You're right, Kiryu. You have to go through me first. But, don't think for a second, that I'll let you duel all over me! I'm coming at you with everything I've got!" Says Yusei.
"Hmhahahahaha! Your greatest weakness has always been your twin." Kiryu says. "Grim, get Subaru and Velvet out of here. Now!" Sakura thinks to herself, speaking telepathically to Grim.
He runs up, snags Velvet with his tail and puts her on his back. Grim then does the same thing with Subaru and takes off running, with both young twins riding on his back.
Kiryu suddenly grips at Sakura's arm, which causes both of their signs to flare up, as well as the burning sensations in her arm and his shoulder to intensify, tenfold, making them both react.
"Sakura! Kiryu!" Says Yusei.
"You won't escape me, Sakura! You'll be mine!" Kiryu says. Sakura's irises start flaring in bright red. "You can torture me as much as you want! However, you won't touch my children!" Says Sakura. "I think you mean ours. Now that I know they're mine, I won't ever let them go free. They'll remain in my shadow as long as I see fit, I'll let the darkness consume them as it did me. I have yet to decide whether to keep you the way you are or corrupt you and let my darkness consume you, too. Hehehahahaha!" Kiryu says. He suddenly gets forced back, hit by a rush of power, and sent flying and crashing into a bunch of rubble.
Kiryu's being affected by some sort of force of power, which brings him to his hands and knees, straining against it, as he tries to push himself up, but with a yell of effort, can only manage to lift up his head and glare up at Sakura as he continues to strain against this force of power. "What are you doing to me?" Asks Kiryu.
Sakura is standing her ground, it's proving to be quite a strain on her just to keep him down with this powerful force, but she is determined to keep this up as long as possible. "You have no power over me, Kyosuke! I know you and Yusei have some things to settle. However, you and I do, as well." Sakura says.
Kiryu's irises start flaring in bright violet, as he continues to strain against this force of power.
Sakura doesn't break her gaze from him, her irises still flaring in bright red.
"Sakura, don't push yourself!" Says Yusei.
Crow's still watching from his vantage point, his teeth clenched. "Be careful, Sakura!" Crow thinks to himself.
Grim soon comes running, carrying Velvet and Subaru on his back.
"Oh, Grim's back." Luca says. "And he has Subaru and Velvet with him." Says Lua.
Grim comes to a stop when he reaches him, Luca, Usagi, Ushio and Crow, and lowers himself to the ground. Subaru gets off of him and helps Velvet down, who looks awfully saddened. "Velvet, what's wrong?" Subaru asks. Velvet grips onto his jacket and starts crying into his shirt. "It's all my fault! If I didn't suggest meeting daddy, none of this would've happened!" Says Velvet, through her tears. Subaru just hugs her close. "It's not your fault. Mother warned us about father, but we were still curious about him and wanted to meet him. I guess, some part of me wanted to meet him, too. But, this isn't your fault or mine. It's grandfather's fault, and father's." Subaru says. "No, it's the darkness that's corrupting them. And not just your gramps and your dad, but the other Dark Signers, too. Yeah, they gave themselves to the darkness in order to find their salvation, but the promise of vengeance and revenge are powerful enough to influence anyone." Says Crow. "You're a friend of our mother, right?" Subaru asks. "I'm not just friends with her, me and your mom are best friends! And not just with her, I'm also friends with your uncle. Your dad also used to be a friend of mine, too. But, his way of thinking drove me, Jack and even Yusei away. He took it out on your mom, even though she had nothing to do with it. But, he still hurt her and nearly killed her. If it wasn't for me, Jack and your uncle, your mom wouldn't be here right now." Says Crow. "And neither would Subaru, Jace and I." Velvet says. "Jace?" Asks Crow. "Yeah, he's our little half-brother." Subaru says. "I see." Says Crow. "So, these two are Kiryu's. Then that means, the other one is Jack's. You definitely have a lot on your plate, Sakura." Crow thinks to himself.
Kiryu's still straining against the force of power, without so much as a budge.
The amount of power that Sakura's emanating is starting to take a toll on her. However, she has other ideas of how to deal with Kiryu. "I think, it is time to face you the way I was when we first met, Kyosuke." Sakura says.
"Oh, really. Am I supposed to feel grateful?" Asks Kiryu, sarcastically, despite still straining against the force of power.
"It just might enlighten you." Sakura says. She lifts up her hand into the air. "Grim, my faithful familiar! Aurora, my loyal guardian spirit! My two manifestations of my soul, my dark and my light! I beseech you, lend me your powers and help me break the seal on my heart! Unlock the key to my past self… as a Sailor Guardian!" Sakura thinks to herself, communicating telepathically to both Grim and Aurora.
He stands up and walks to the edge of the vantage point.
Somewhere across Satellite, Aurora, lying beside Hotaru, sits up. "What is it, Aurora?" Asks Hotaru. Aurora looks up towards the sky, mystical blue eyes locked on the mark of the giant.
Grim, standing on the edge of the vantage point, also looks up at the sky, snarling at the sign.
"Come to me now!" Sakura thinks to herself, communicating telepathically to both him and Aurora.
Grim changes his stance and bursts into a black shadowy mist, he's disappeared.
Aurora stands up. "Sakura's calling for you, isn't she?" Hotaru asks. Aurora looks over at her and nuzzles her face into hers. Hotaru just brushes through her fur, petting her. "She must need you." Says Hotaru. She presses her forehead to Aurora's. "It's all right. You were always hers to begin with. Thank you for looking out for me. Now go, Sakura needs you." Hotaru says. Aurora nuzzles her one last time and changes her stance, bursting into blue mystical flames, she's vanished.
Wisps of shadowy mist suddenly emerge from Sakura's shadow and Grim soon takes form, standing alongside her, with his unnaturally long tail being the last thing to form.
Weaves of mystical fire warp around her and as the flames disperse, Aurora takes form at her side, standing opposite of him, with all nine of her tails being the last things to appear from the divine flames. "I believe you have already met my familiar and my dark, Grim. However, I have yet to introduce you to Aurora, my guardian spirit and my light." Says Sakura.
"I guess I wasn't seeing things. The nine-tail was with you when Yusei and Rudger dueled." Kiryu says.
"Well, now that all the pieces have gathered. Time to begin!" Says Sakura. The red, diamond-shaped gem appears at the center of Grim's head. A silver sun appears at the center of Aurora's head, contrasting with her beautiful white fur. They're lending their powers over to Sakura, who still has her hand outstretched to the sky. A black box, with a silver sun emblem and a red, diamond-shaped jewel in the center of it, emblazoned on it, suddenly appears and hovers over her extended hand. Sakura then lowers her hand, the box following, as it comes to hover before her and slightly over her hands. She takes a moment and closes her eyes, in concentration. "No turning back from this now. Will this constant battle never end? Will I never be able to live a life where I will not ever have to use this thing again? Can a Sailor Guardian never truly die?" Sakura thinks to herself. She then opens her eyes and focuses on the box. "Seal that locks away the final piece of my past, discard your contents and allow my truest identity to be revealed! By the power of the Sun and the Galaxy! I break your seal! Release!" Sakura says. The box soon becomes obscured by a glowing red sphere, which starts to crackle with electricity. A seal appears around the box, only for it to break as the electrical sphere shatters, as if made of glass or crystal. The box suddenly opens and reveals a red, star-shaped brooch, with a pair of transparent blue wings on either side of it. The box disappears as the device lowers itself into her hands. Sakura looks down at the device, determined. She lifts the device into the air.
Which gives Kiryu and Yusei a good look at it.
"No way!" Says Yusei.
"That's…" Kiryu says.
"Galaxy Immortal, Make Up!" Says Sakura.
She closes her eyes as the silver sun and red, diamond-shaped gem appear on her forehead. Glyphs appear and surround her body, swirling around her. As the glyphs swirl around her, she also twirls herself, in almost perfect sync with the seals, enveloping her body in midnight blue ribbons. The ribbons start to disperse as a sailor fuku, consisting of a long-sleeved, velvet red leotard, with a wide black line, starting above her chest and ending between her thighs, a midnight blue chest bow, with the red, star-shaped brooch, with a pair of transparent blue wings on either side of it, at the center of the bow, and a velvet red, sailor collar, with two midnight blue stripes, forms onto her body. A current of wind and black feathers suddenly picks up, obscuring her from view for a few seconds and her black angel wings appear, flaring backwards. The wind then dissipates and the feathers vanish. She starts summoning glyphs and orchestrates them around her, having them spiral around her neck, arms, waist and legs, weaving and draping ribbons around these areas. The ribbons disintegrate to reveal a silver, v-shaped choker, with a silver sun and red, diamond-shaped jewel at the center of it, black opera-length gloves, with silver, v-shaped trim around her wrists, which surround a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped jewel, and silver trim at the tops of them, which surround a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped jewel, a velvet-red skirt, with a wide black line, which starts from the top of it at her waist and ends at the hem, the skirt is attached to the leotard by a silver, v-shaped border at her waist, with a silver sun and red, diamond-shaped jewel at the center, with two jewels at either side of it, navy blue and sea-green on the right side of it, garnet red and white on the left side of it, a chain-whip, made out of red, diamond-shaped jewels, is wound around her waist, a dark violet back bow, which has two very long, thin, midnight blue ribbons trailing down from it, and black, thigh-high, heeled boots, with silver v-shaped trim at the tops of them, which surround a silver sun and a red, diamond-shaped jewel. She then summons a glyph and waves it in front of her face, obscuring it from view for a few seconds, thick black horns have appeared at either temple, protruding crookedly, which make them appear reminiscently to a crown on her head, and her ears have become pointed and elf-like, which have silver earrings, with blue jewels dangling from them. Her hairpieces, though remaining the same shape, are blue, trimmed with black, with her signature hairstyle staying the same, however, the red gradation half of her hair has been replaced by a purple and blue ombre, with the whole thing being partially transparent, having a natural rippling motion, and is sparkling, making it very reminiscent to a night sky, transitioning into a galaxy nebula, and the jewels dangling off of her hairpieces are blue. She completes her look with purple-blue eye shadow in the cat eye style. She then opens her red eyes, her pupils now slightly slanted, and as she goes into her signature pose, she shows off a pair of fangs, almost in a seductive gesture.
As the transformation ends, she hovers a few inches off the ground, outlined in a midnight blue aura, hair and any loose articles of clothing whipping in an invisible breeze, slightly. Just like when she's in her Princess Galaxia form, her markings, both Signer related and her face marking, and scars do not appear along her body in this form, either.
Yusei and Crow's eyes are wide, in realization.
"Unbelievable." Yusei says.
"My suspicions about her back then were right." Crow thinks to himself.
Kiryu, just as bewildered by this, is seized with complete spite.
As the invisible breeze ceases and the aura around her dissipates, her feet touch the ground, with a gentle landing, and she opens her now slightly slanted red eyes, her piercing gaze on him.
"You! It was you the whole time!" Says Kiryu, pissed.
"Yes. I am the one who is protected by both the Galaxy and the Sun. The Guardian of Judgment, I am Sailor Galaxy." As she went through her transformation, Grim and Aurora's appearances have also changed. He now has a bone-like face, with his red, diamond-shaped gem embedded at the center of his head and red markings on his face, and quill-like spines on his back, red smoke also seems to emanate from his body, giving him more of a hellhound look. Aurora, along with her silver sun at the center of her head, now has blue markings along her face, reminiscent to a kitsune mask, and similar markings on her shoulders, hindquarters and all nine of her tails. The blue flames around her paws and tail tips are now far from transparent and are ablaze, in addition, she now also has blue flames flaring along her mane, giving her more of a spiritual appearance.
Ushio, Usagi, Lua and Luca are all agape at the sight of these three, they can't believe their eyes. Subaru and Velvet are wide-eyed, with faces full of amazement and enchantment, respectively. Crow's still watching this scene, with a very stoic expression.
Yusei, still astride his D-Wheel, is still in complete shock of all of this.
Kiryu, still on all fours, has a maniacal look in his eyes, as if his brain has just short circuited.
Sailor Galaxy, Grim and Aurora make a truly incredible picture, all three emanating power.
"All you have are your specters. You don't have your friends to help you this time." Kiryu says.
"My guardians are not meant to be a part of this Signer war. When they are truly needed, they will come to me." Says Sailor Galaxy.
"So why bring this side of you out? If your guardians aren't meant to play a part in this war between Signers, then why reveal yourself as one?" Kiryu asks.
"Even though my guardian duties have come and gone, I am still the Guardian of Judgment." Says Sailor Galaxy. She reaches a hand out in front of herself, a glyph appears and splits in two, until a scythe is hovering before her. "A title that I don't take lightly." Sailor Galaxy says. She grips the Galactic Flare Scythe, holding it in front of herself, defensively.
"What? You're passing judgment on me! Someone who has come back from the dead! I've already served my time behind bars! Hahahahahahaha!" Says Kiryu.
"You never repented for what you did. You're right, I cannot pass judgment on someone who has already died. However, I can still punish someone who has been revived from the dead and has not moved on. Someone like you." Sailor Galaxy says. She points her scythe in Kiryu's direction. "I shall still give you a fighting chance, Kyosuke Kiryu." Says Sailor Galaxy.
The force of power on Kiryu has subsided. He gets up from the ground and stands opposite of her, Grim and Aurora. "You may have the power of a deity, but you're not invincible!" Kiryu says.
"Deity? I'm afraid you are mistaken. There is no goddess power behind this form. This is what I became… and what I shall always become." Says Sailor Galaxy.
"Well, my power of the Earthbound gods can rival your ancient powers!" Kiryu says. He charges at her.
"Grim, Aurora. Give him a taste of what he's dealing with." Says Sailor Galaxy. She moves the scythe to her side, holding it similarly to a staff.
Grim moves forward, going straight for Kiryu. He lunges for him, who moves to dodge, but still gets grazed by his spines. Before Kiryu can retaliate, Grim bursts into his red smoke and attacks him when he least expects it. He's sent to the ground, with him looming about in black shadows and red smoke.
Kiryu moves to get up, only for Aurora to spread out her nine tails and send blasts of blue fire towards him. He tries dodging the shots, but still gets hit by quite a few of them. Aurora then sprints towards Kiryu and turns into a spinning ball of fox fire, aimed right for him. He's caught off guard and is hit, sent falling back to the ground.
"Had enough, already? That was just small feats of what they are capable of." Sailor Galaxy says.
Kiryu lifts up his head, with a bit of effort, squinting an eye. "Yeah, your beasts are tough. But, what are you capable of in that form of yours? Hahahahahaha!" Asks Kiryu.
"If you're that desperate." Sailor Galaxy says. She makes the Galactic Flare Scythe disintegrate, as if its made out of embers. "I shall make it fair. However, do not expect me to go easy on you." Says Sailor Galaxy.
Kiryu stumbles to his feet. "Should've kept your stick! I beat you before, this time will be no different! Hmhmhahahuh! Whatever form you take, you're still the same bitch I raped and greatly wounded back then! If not for Crow, Jack and Yusei, I would've taken your life then, too!" Kiryu says.
"That was your mistake." Says Sailor Galaxy.
"You're right! And now, I'll be taking care of that mistake! I'll make sure your brother sees you spitting up blood at my feet!" Kiryu says. He then runs at Sailor Galaxy, who summons forth one of her glyphs, the force behind his charge sending her against a bunch of rubble. Regardless, she is keeping Kiryu at bay with her glyph, which is also electrocuting him repeatedly. It's straining on Sailor Galaxy to keep him at bay, while it's getting difficult for him to keep pressing against the glyph, but neither are backing down so easily. "You're still afraid of me and the powers of my Earthbound Immortal!" Says Kiryu. "I'm not afraid of you, Kyosuke." Sailor Galaxy says. "You will be! Hmhahahahaha!" Says Kiryu. His irises light up in bright fuchsia and with a strike of his hand, he breaks the glyph, which shatters as if it was made out of glass, and grips at Sailor Galaxy's arm, which causes both of their signs to flare up, as well as the burning sensations in her arm and his shoulder to once again intensify, making them both react.
"Stop this already!" Yusei says.
Crow's feeling the same way he is, his teeth and fists are clenched.
"Oh, this is about to get much worse!" Says Kiryu. He lifts up his free hand, a spike of black, with violet streaks of electricity, appears in it. "Believe me, you'll wish you were dead after I strike you with this!" Kiryu says. He jabs the spike straight into the center of her chest, which with a burst of power and bright light, sends both of them flying.
"Sakura!" Says Crow. He jabs his helmet on and jumps onto his D-Wheel, revving the engine and taking off.
Yusei gets off of his D-Wheel and runs over to where Sailor Galaxy and Kiryu were standing. As the bright light finally ceases, the burst of power sent both of them far away from each other.
Kiryu staggers to his feet, holding at his glowing arm, and looks over at Yusei.
Sailor Galaxy is knocked out against a wall of rubble and ruins. Due to the impact, her transformation is breaking.
"Sakura!" Yusei says. He runs over to her and falls to one knee at her side. Just as he reaches her, the transformation breaks, returning her back to her empowered Signer self.
Grim and Aurora, who have both returned to normal, run and come to a halt near their mistress.
Sakura suddenly comes to, clutching at herself and wincing, deeply. "She's in a lot of pain." Yusei thinks to himself. He grasps at Sakura's face, gently, who only responds with pained whimpers. "What did he do?" Asks Yusei. He moves her hands away from where she was hit, slightly. There's no sign of the spike or any physical wound, but Sakura is still hurting from the impact. Yusei holds her close to himself, protectively.
"Hahahahahahahaha! That spike may not have left a wound, but give it time and it'll leave her rasping in so much pain that she'll wish she was dead!" Kiryu says.
"I'll duel and settle things with you. Not just for me, but for her, too. You've done horrid things to Sakura and it ends now." Says Yusei.
Crow pulls up on his D-Wheel.
Yusei stands up, cradling Sakura in his arms, and walks over to him and his D-Wheel. He hands her over to Crow, who takes her and puts her on the D-Wheel, holding her against him with one arm. "Keep an eye on her." Yusei says. Crow nods, subtly. He makes an arch around Yusei and takes off, with Grim and Aurora running after the D-Wheel.
Yusei then goes over to his D-Wheel and gets astride it.
Kiryu, by now, is already astride his D-Wheel.
'Speed World' appears on both screens. "Field Spell 'Speed World' set on! Duel Mode on." Says the computer. "Duel!" Both Kiryu and Yusei say. They're off immediately, drawing parallel lines of displaced dust.
"Whoever takes the first corner gets to decide who goes first." Says Kiryu. He inches ahead.
Then, Yusei does.
It's going to be close.
"His D-Wheel is more powerful than before." Kiryu thinks to himself. "But I won't let you beat me! Hahahaha!" Kiryu says. He swings to the side and slams his D-Wheel into the side of Yusei's.
Sparks fly and he gets pushed into the wall of flames. Yusei rides onward, fighting the pain. "Rrrgh!" Yusei growls under his breath.
"Heheheheheh! I'll go first, Yusei!" Says Kiryu. He zooms around the corner.
Yusei's trailing after Kiryu.
"My turn!" Kiryu says. He draws. "I summon Infernity Necromancer from my hand." Says Kiryu.
Infernity Necromancer has 2000 defense points and is a Level 3 monster.
"It's an Infernity monster. Is he going to use his handless combo again?" Yusei thinks to himself.
"I set one card and end my turn. Bring it, Yusei! In this duel, I'll make you pay for betraying me!" Kiryu says.
"My turn!" Says Yusei. He draws, he drew a trap card. "Kiryu, I remember the moment when we started heading our separate ways." Yusei thinks to himself.
Flashback. A map of Satellite divided into districts with red lines. They get scribbled out one by one. "We achieved our goal of conquering Satellite." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over.
Change flashback. Yusei, in the brown vest of Team Satisfaction, walks down an alleyway somewhere in Satellite. "We were burnt out and looking for what to do next." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over.
At the end of the alleyway, sixteen-year-old Kiryu, fourteen-year-old Crow and sixteen-year-old Jack are waiting for him. "But Kiryu didn't want to acknowledge that the party was over. He was on the streets looking for enemies. I'm just glad Sakura intervened, otherwise who knows what we might've done." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over.
In the flashback, the other three walk over to Yusei and they begin their meeting. "Today, we will hunt Team Insect in F District." Kiryu says. He activates his duel disk. "We haven't finished conquering Satellite. Everyone who has a duel disk is our enemy!" Says Kiryu. Crow's response is somewhere between a yawn and a groan, here's Kiryu being himself again.
The flashback changes. Late one night, Yusei and Crow are chasing a pair of street kids wearing duel disks along a chain-link fence.
Ahead, the street kids split up, the smaller one runs through the gate in the chain-link fence, while his buddy turns down an alleyway opposite.
Yusei and Crow split up, too. The former goes down the alley, while the latter goes through the gate.
Yusei's quarry, a teen slightly younger than himself, with a dull-blonde mohawk and two prison marks that cut diagonally from above his eyebrows across his eyelids and to the edges of his jaw, runs for all he's worth, until he reaches a wall, it's a dead end.
"That's far enough!" Yusei says.
A duel-grapple flies out of the dark and fastens around the kid's duel disk.
Yusei pulls it tight. "Are you ready?" Asks Yusei.
In no time at all, Speed Warrior delivers a graceful somersaulting kick, ending the duel. A spark races up the grapple line and fries the duel disk, and the duelist some, too. He falls to the ground, steam drifting up from him.
Yusei turns away. "Crow?" Yusei asks.
Elsewhere. Crow's victim trips and falls to the ground, struggling to rise again.
He's advancing on him. Crow activates his duel disk, a grapple already ready in his other hand.
Until someone comes between them. "Stop!" She's dressed in the old attire she used to wear when she lived in the Satellite. She has a cloak with a hood attached, that's shadowing the upper half of her face, making her eyes the only thing visible through the shadows.
The little kid clings to the bottom of her cloak, also touching her lower leg a little bit.
"And who are you to stop me?!" Asks Crow. He approaches her, not backing down one bit. She then removes her hood and it falls back over her shoulders, with her wavy, raven black, red gradated hair falling back into place.
Crow steps back a bit. "Sakura?" Crow asks.
Indeed it is, only she has no markings or scars. "You think taking down a little kid is a success, Crow?" Asks Sakura. She moves her cloak out of the way, to prove her point.
Crow then gasps, his 'opponent' can't be older than twelve. "Go home." Crow says. "Huh?" "I said leave!" Says Crow. The kid doesn't hesitate any longer. He gets up, bows awkwardly, and gets the heck out of there.
Grim soon appears and comes to stand at Sakura's side, he doesn't look at all different from how he does now, except for his long, dark fur being rather messy.
Yusei, walking toward them, watches the kid go by and stops walking.
Crow won't turn to face him.
Now that the kid's gone, he punches the wall and breaks down sobbing.
Yusei walks over to him. "Crow…" Yusei says. "Is dueling supposed to be this meaningless?" Asks Crow. He then looks up to face Sakura. She starts heading off, with Grim following alongside her, walking past Crow and Yusei.
When Sakura walks past him, he can't even look her straight in the eye and looks away from her. She then stops just a few feet away from Yusei, looking at him from the corner of her eye, Grim comes to a halt at her side. "So, this is the path you have chosen, Yusei. To follow under someone like Kyosuke." Sakura says. Yusei looks at her from the corner of his eye. "Well, what about you?! You don't have anyone to follow under, so you choose to scold me!" Says Yusei. "Yusei..." Crow says, surprised that he would say something like that to Sakura. "I follow under no one, brother. I chose my path to follow and that path is to be alone. I never thought you would be the one to fall through the cracks." Says Sakura. Her words struck Yusei hard, he's silent. Crow's just as silent, he can't believe this is happening between them. Grim lowers his head to the ground and closes his eyes. "So, what is it you're saying, sis?" Yusei asks. "You have disappointed me, Yusei. As of this moment, I am done looking out for you." Says Sakura. She looks away from him, her eyes closed. Grim raises his head and looks up at Sakura, he can sense her distress. Yusei's eyes seem pained by what she just said. Crow gasps and stands up.
Just as Sakura starts to leave.
Crow runs up and stops in front of her. "Sakura, you can't really be serious about this." Crow says. "There is no point in looking out for a brother who has forgotten who he truly is. At this point, it would seem I have no brother. He's lost his way and has made his choice. And not just him, either. You and Jack have made the same mistake as him. Farewell, Yusei. Crow." Says Sakura. She walks right past Crow, not looking back once, with Grim following after her.
Yusei and Crow both turn to watch as she leaves.
Just then, they hear the kid scream.
"No!" Sakura says. She starts running to help him out again, her cloak trailing behind, with Grim running after her.
Crow and Yusei both follow after Sakura.
The kid's on the other end of a grapple-chain that zaps way more than Yusei's did.
Kiryu caught him in the alleyway. "Heheh!"
The kid collapses to the ground.
Kiryu stomps his duel disk underfoot, laughing, cruelly. The kid looks up at him, in fear, as he raises his foot again to step on his face. "Hehehehehehah! Never enter the dueling world half-heartedly! Heheheh." Says Kiryu.
Before he can step on the kid's face, Sakura suddenly runs in and pins him against the fence, her forearm against his throat, almost off his feet. "Leave him alone, don't you have any heart?!" Sakura asks. "You'll regret doing this! Mark my words!" Says Kiryu. He then punches Sakura in the ribs, she winces and falls over. "Now to make you pay for what you've done!" Kiryu says. He pulls Sakura up by the arm and slams her against the fence, only his hand is against her throat instead. She is gasping for air right now, while Kiryu seems to be enjoying this. "Such a pretty little thing you are, Red-Eyed Raven of Satellite." Says Kiryu. He tightens his grip, making it harder for Sakura to breathe.
"Stop!" Crow says. He suddenly tackles Kiryu to the ground, making him release Sakura.
She manages to land on her hands and knees, holding at her throat and breathing heavily.
Grim soon comes running and steps in front of Sakura, his blazing red eyes fixed on Kiryu, he's prepared to protect his mistress from any further harm.
Crow then turns to the kid. "Hurry up and leave!" Says Crow. "What are you doing, Crow?" Kiryu asks. He punches Crow in the stomach, he moans and slumps over.
"Hurry up and go!" Says Yusei. The kid runs for it, leaving his broken duel disk on the ground.
Yusei runs toward the fight. "Stop it, Crow and Kiryu!" Yusei says.
"You…" Says Kiryu. He clocks back to punch Crow again, and someone catches his arm.
Jack has shown up, too, and from the look on his face, he has no idea what's going on, but he'll break up the fight.
Yusei's holding Crow back from attacking Kiryu. "Let me go, Yusei! I can't stand it anymore!" Crow says. Yusei lets him go, he catches his breath. "Dueling is supposed to be fun against anyone, anywhere, anytime! Do any of us have the right to take that away?" Asks Crow.
"What?" Kiryu asks. Jack lets him pull his arm away.
Crow walks over to Sakura and crouches down next to her, gripping at her shoulder.
Jack then walks over to him and helps him get her to her feet.
"I'm leaving the team." Says Crow. He turns and walks away down the street.
"Crow..." Yusei says, half-heartedly. "We're supposed to be a team! Hey, Crow! I thought we were friends!" Says Kiryu.
Sakura stands to her feet, strongly. As she walks away, she places her hood back on, shadowing the upper half of her face once again. Grim moves to walk directly at Sakura's side.
Jack walks away, too, following closely behind her and Grim. They leave in a different direction than Crow.
"Uh! Jack? Hey! Jack! Crow!" Kiryu says. He turns to Yusei. "Yusei, we're a team, right? We're friends, right?" Asks Kiryu, imploring. Yusei nods, mutely. The two of them watch Jack, Sakura, with Grim following beside her, and Crow walk away, and the world seems to get a whole lot darker. "Crow and Jack left Kiryu. But I wasn't able to abandon him." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over. The flashback ends.
Back to the present. "Because he's a friend." Yusei thinks to himself.
Kiryu glances back over his shoulder. "Hurry up, traitor!" Kiryu says.
"I summon Max Warrior!" Says Yusei.
Max Warrior has 1800 attack points and is a Level 4 monster.
"Max Warrior attacks Infernity Necromancer!" Yusei says. Max Warrior goes to attack. "Kiryu, I'll turn you back to normal in this duel!" Yusei thinks to himself.
"Have you lost your mind, Yusei? Infernity Necromancer's defense points are greater than Max Warrior's attack points." Says Kiryu.
"Max Warrior's monster effect activates! When this card attacks, it gains four hundred attack points!" Yusei says. Max Warrior's now got 2200 attack points. "Swift Rush!" Says Yusei.
Max Warrior stabs Necromancer with its long, double-pronged spear, and Kiryu feels the hit even though he takes no damage.
"But Max Warrior's attack points, defense points and Level become half until the next turn. And now, until my next turn!" Yusei says. Max Warrior's attack points are reduced to 900 and his Level is lowered to 2. "I stayed by your side because we were friends. However…" Yusei thinks to himself.
Flashback. One day, Yusei and Kiryu stand atop a tall building, hidden from the street below.
The officer with the pointy mustache pulls up on a shiny new security-issued D-Wheel, looking around.
"So that's a D-Wheel." Says Yusei. "Yeah. Security is deploying a lot of them this time." Kiryu says.
Three more D-Wheels pull up behind the first. The mustached man speaks. "Show the duel gangs the power of the D-Wheel! Deal justice through dueling!" "Roger!" They ride off down the street.
Kiryu watches them go, solemnly, then gets a grin on his face, he has an idea.
Somewhere in the Satellite. Late one night, a young duelist is cornered down an alleyway by a Security guy on his D-Wheel.
The Security guy speaks first. "Stop resisting! You're like a rat trapped in a cage!"
The duelist turns, he's wearing a brown vest, but without the fleecy lining that would mark him as a member of Team Satisfaction, and a Satellite special prison mark on his right cheek. He's wearing a bandanna over his hair, like Nerve, but his bandanna is green. "Damn! I summon Skull Knight #Two!"
"You fool. I summon Assault Dog!"
Assault Dog barrels right through the street duelist's monster and tackles him, biting his arm above his duel disk. The street duelist cries out. "Aaaah! Help me!"
"What? You want to defeat Security?" Asks Yusei. He and Kiryu are sitting at a table on top of a building that used to have another story, in the light of a vibrant orange-red sunset at the latter's back. Yusei has just stood up, abruptly. "Yeah. I finally found Team Satisfaction's final opponent." Kiryu says. "Final opponent?" Asks Yusei. "By defeating them, we will truly conquer Satellite. Yusei, bring back Jack and Crow. The four of us will crush them!" Kiryu says. He doesn't tell Yusei his real plan to get Security to him. He leans on the table with both hands, face-to-face with Kiryu. "Kiryu, don't you understand that this is a suicide mission?" Asks Yusei. "Are you scared, Yusei?" Kiryu asks. "Kiryu!" Says Yusei. He grabs Kiryu by the front of his shirt, pulling him to stand up. The intense moment holds, Yusei shaking, trying to think of something he can say or do to make his point, then lets go and looks at the ground. "Kiryu, I can't stay with you anymore. If you're going to do this, do it by yourself. I'm leaving the team. I'm leaving you." Yusei says. He turns and walks away.
"Yusei!" Says Kiryu.
Yusei ignores him and keeps walking. "I thought that if Kiryu was alone, he wouldn't take on Security. That's why I said what I said." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over.
Now all alone, Kiryu has that mania, that hysterical energy, growing even stronger in his eyes.
Night outside Security Headquarters.
A hallway somewhere inside. A line of prisoners is marched down a parallel hallway while, in this one, someone in a uniform, though not a street officer, pushes a cart with several confiscated duel disks on it.
Outside, Kiryu's standing on top of a nearby building, wearing a menacing black cloak, watching Security Headquarters. "But he lost it." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over. Kiryu activates his duel disk. He draws a card from the top of his deck, and slots it into a spell/trap zone. "I activate my trap!" Kiryu says, declaring to the night, dramatically.
And the duel disks in the hallway explode in a blast of reddish-purple fire.
Kiryu laughs, wickedly. "Heheheheheh! The duel is starting!" Says Kiryu.
Within moments, a few D-Wheels and patrol cars are racing out toward him.
"Heheheheh! Entertain me!" Kiryu says.
It's lightning and thundering outside. "And that was only half of it, he went after Sakura that night, too. And it cost her more than he'll ever know." Yusei thinks to himself, in voice-over.
Kiryu suddenly emerges through a cracked door to an abandoned building. It's dark inside, only the light of the lightning lights up the place. "Looks like someone needs to work on getting lighting in here." Says Kiryu.
"And it seems that someone needs to learn how to knock." Sakura says. She steps out from a shadowed corner, she still has her cloak on, but her face is unhooded. "What are you doing here, Kyosuke?" Asks Sakura.
"I'm here to get even with you." Kiryu says.
"For what?" Asks Sakura. Grim comes to stand in front of her, his blazing red eyes intensely locked on Kiryu.
"For turning Crow and Jack against me. And for getting into Yusei's head, too." Kiryu says.
"Each of them made their own choice, I never persuaded them to leave your team. You did that yourself." Says Sakura. Grim snarls and bares his teeth at Kiryu.
"Liar!" Kiryu says. He charges at Sakura, with a knife in hand.
"Grim, shadow phase now." Sakura thinks to herself, speaking telepathically to Grim. He soon shifts his stance and suddenly bursts into a black, shadowy mist, he's disappeared.
With Kiryu being a little exhausted, Sakura is able to get a hold of his wrist and stop him from using the knife. He keeps trying, though.
The lightning flashes and they're then rolling around on the ground, until Sakura pins Kiryu to the ground, holding his arms down with all the strength she has. He smirks, she notices. "What?" Asks Sakura. "Hm. Clever, strong, beautiful and feisty. I'm impressed." Kiryu says. He's starting to fight back now. Kiryu then manages to get Sakura off of himself, pushing her to the ground. He's now the one who has her pinned to the ground, trying to draw the knife closer to her, but her strength won't budge. "You might even be able to entertain me." Says Kiryu. He then does the unthinkable and bashes Sakura in the side of the head, hitting close to her temple. She blacks out, instantly.
Sometime later. Sakura's starting to regain consciousness, her visions still a little blurry. Her cloak has been removed at some point while she was out cold. Sakura's partial twin tails have fallen loose at some point, as well, leaving her hair completely down.
Kiryu suddenly comes into view. "Well, I see you finally woke up." Kiryu says. Sakura tries moving herself, only she's having a hard time doing so. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, you'll hurt yourself." Says Kiryu. He then crawls over Sakura, gripping at her chin, making her look him in the eyes. "Now, you're going to be a good girl and entertain me." Kiryu says. He leans in close and kisses Sakura, cutting off her muffled reaction. Kiryu then slips his tongue into the kiss, fighting for dominance. While he's busy with that, Sakura's reaching for the knife that he threatened her with earlier. She is able to reach it, getting a firm hold on it and stabs Kiryu through his right shoulder. He stops kissing Sakura and lets out a yell, in pain. Kiryu then grabs her wrist and takes her hand away from the knife, pulling it out of his shoulder. As soon as he does, blood starts running down, staining his shirt. Kiryu then glares down at Sakura. "You just made this worse for yourself!" Says Kiryu. He gets himself off of Sakura and drags her by the arm she stabbed him with, bringing her over to a large wooden crate. Kiryu then places her arm on top of the crate and holds it still. "Kyosuke, don't!" Sakura says. "You did it to me, so I'm just returning the favor! Then after I've finished this, I'm truly going to entertain myself!" Says Kiryu. He tightens his hold on Sakura's arm and brings down the knife, just slightly piercing the skin before her knuckles, drawing blood. She closes her eyes, wincing. Kiryu then digs the knife deeper into Sakura's hand and starts slicing up her arm, cutting through skin, tendons and nerves. He finally stops when he reaches her bicep and throws the knife. Sakura's in severe pain right now and her screams of pain and agony are a result to that. There's already a pool of blood forming on top of the crate. Kiryu then releases Sakura's arm and she falls to the ground, instantly.
He just stands there, watching her trembling on the ground before him, in complete pain.
Sakura is starting to go in and out of consciousness.
Kiryu smirks, evilly. He then stands over Sakura, removing his bloodstained shirt, with not only his blood anymore, and tosses it to the floor. Kiryu gets down on his knees and hovers over her, still conscious yet. Sakura's eyes are glazed over, though. Kiryu grips at her hair and pulls at it, roughly. "I'm not finished with you yet." Kiryu says. Sakura's in too much pain and is slightly dazed to fight him off at this point. Kiryu pulls her up by her hair and then grabs at her shirt, roughly. "Kyosuke... please don't..." Says Sakura, weakly and pained. Kiryu ignores her pleas and rips her shirt, tearing it, along with her vest, the scarf and bra, off of her, easily. Sakura barely even tries shielding herself from his spite-induced advances. Kiryu's already moved his free hand and grips at them, rubbing his hand against the bare flesh, roughly. "Kyosuke... please stop..." Sakura says, weakly and pained. Kiryu isn't listening and pushes her onto the ground, keeping her held in place with one arm, while moving his other hand lower, tracing down her perfectly fit curves. His hand finally reaches its destination, undoes Sakura's shorts, removing them, her stockings and her boots. Kiryu then stops, reaches for his belt and undoes it, along with his pants. He moves his boxers down, releasing his cock from its restraints. Kiryu then grips at Sakura's hips, tears off her panties, and without any warning, forces himself into her womanhood. Her eyes widen, instantly, and she screams out, in pain. Kiryu then muffles Sakura's screams by placing a hand over her mouth, while his other arm is holding her in place, firmly. "Your innocence is gone. You lost it to me, you've now become a woman." Says Kiryu, pleased with himself. Blood is already running down between Sakura's legs. "Now, entertain me!" Kiryu says. He begins thrusting, not slowing down for an instant. Kiryu's thrusts are quite brutal, as he continuously pounds himself inside Sakura's womanhood, making even more blood run down with each forceful thrust after another. She soon blacks out, not able to take much more of his forceful penetrating erection.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Satellite. "I summon this." Says Crow. He's sitting in the light of a streetlight with a few of his nestlings, playing a quiet duel on the ground. Crow has Blackwing-Gale the Whirlwind in attack mode and a set card. The little girl with the red hair looks on, while the little boy with spiky brown hair is his opponent, probably just learning how to duel. He has a set card.
Another little kid runs up. "Crow!"
"Huh?" Crow asks.
"Big trouble! Kiryu attacked Security!"
Crow stands up. "What?" Asks Crow, thunderstruck.
At the abandoned building. Sakura's regaining some of her consciousness, only she's now looking up at the ceiling. There's a pool of blood from the wound in her arm, blood is still running down from the open wound. Only, Sakura's not alone.
Kiryu hasn't left yet and he's still thrusting himself inside her womanhood, forcefully. He moved Sakura onto her back at some point, taking her with the same pace as before. Kiryu barely even pays attention to the Seal of the Crimson Dragon that is etched into her abdomen, knowing nothing of it at this point in time. He's breathing heavily with each thrust after thrust he does. Kiryu does a few more brutal thrusts, ramming his dick inside Sakura's womanhood, forcefully, and finally stops, cumming inside of her. "Well, that's the second time I came in you tonight." Kiryu says. "You…" Says Sakura, weakly, pained and hoarse. As Kiryu pulls out, blood and cum spill out from between her legs. He stands up, pulling his boxers and pants back over his now concealed manhood, buttoning his pants and fastening his belt.
Kiryu then goes to pick up his bloodstained shirt and looks over at Sakura. "You entertained me. Maybe we'll do this again sometime." Kiryu says, pleased with himself. He puts his shirt back on.
"I hate you..." Says Sakura, weakly, pained and hoarse.
Kiryu just smirks at her and turns to walk away, leaving her to herself.
Now that he's gone, Sakura finally breaks down, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Grim." Sakura thinks to herself, speaking telepathically to Grim.
Streams of shadowy mist suddenly emerge from her shadow and he soon takes form before her. Sakura manages to at least turn herself onto her side, only it doesn't help with all the pain that she's experiencing. Grim lowers himself to the ground and lies down right beside her. Sakura holds her badly cut open injured arm close to her still bare breasts and with her good arm, that still has the detached sleeve and armband on it, reaches down between her legs, feeling the pain there, as well. She soon loses consciousness, instantly, due to the amount of blood she's lost and is still losing.
Grim lies his head on his paws, being very watchful and protective, as he lays down beside Sakura.
Meanwhile, in the old theater. Jack's sitting on the throne on the stage, eyes closed.
Crow suddenly bursts in at the back of the house, behind the audience seating. "Jack!" Crow says.
Jack opens his eyes. He looks slightly annoyed at the interruption, and doesn't seem too surprised, only serious.
Sometime later. All is quiet in the abandoned building.
Jack and Crow enter through the door. The door suddenly falls off its old hinges, slightly startling them both, the latter more so than the former. It may be dark, but they can tell something's not right here. "This place is trashed up." Says Crow. "Come on, we need to look for Sakura and go help Yusei." Jack says. They both split up to look around.
Crow's walking around and steps on something that shines when he does. "Huh?" Asks Crow. He crouches down and picks it up. The lightning flashes and the object is revealed as a knife. Crow's shocked to see it, especially since it has blood dripping from it. He drops it, in terror and now concern.
Jack's walking the other way and steps in something wet, he looks down since it got on his boot. He continues walking until he accidentally nudges against something and trips over it.
Jack actually tripped over Sakura's legs, bringing his attention over to her motionless, naked, somewhat bloodstained body. "Sakura." Jack says, worriedly.
Grim, who was asleep, lifts up his head and starts growling at him. "Hey. Easy, Grim. It's just me." Says Jack. Grim then stops growling as he recognizes him, no longer sensing any danger from him. Jack places his head on Sakura's chest, seeing if she still has a heartbeat. She still does have a heartbeat, surprisingly. Jack lets out a small breath of relief that Sakura's still alive. He then finally notices that she is naked, with the exception of the detached sleeve and armband on her right arm, and that he's kneeling in a pool of her blood. Jack takes his hands away and looks down at them, stained with Sakura's blood.
"Jack..." Sakura says, weakly and pained. Jack looks down at her, she's woken up. He places a clenched up hand on Sakura's cheek, brushing his hand against it, gently. Jack then lifts her up and sits her sideways on his lap, carefully, and leans her against his chest, she winces at the slightest movements. He's trying to conceal Sakura's body as much as he possibly can. "Crow, I found her." Says Jack.
Crow runs over to them.
"Easy Crow, she's been through quite a bit before we came here. She's hurt and very shaken up." Jack says.
Crow kneels down on the other side of Sakura, carefully. He soon realizes the same thing Jack has, she is never going to be the same again. "What happened?" Asks Crow. "Kyosuke… raped me..." Sakura says, weakly and pained. Crow and Jack can't believe it, but the proof is right there in front of them, Kiryu did this to her and they're kneeling in the aftermath. "Crow, can you go find something to cover her up?" Asks Jack, mournfully.
Crow stands up and looks around the place. He soon finds something on the ground and picks it up, realizing it's Sakura's cloak.
He goes back over to her, Grim and Jack, kneeling down. "Here, I found your cloak. It's a little torn up, but it should do for now." Crow says. Sakura's trembling in Jack's arms, in pain. "Sakura, what's wrong? It's over now, Kiryu's not going to do this to you again." Says Jack. "I can't move… or feel… my left arm… anymore…" Sakura says, weakly and pained. Crow looks at her arm, since he's on that side of her. He lifts up Sakura's left arm and holds at her hand, carefully. Crow can't see much since it's really dark. The lightning then clashes and it lights up a little bit. Crow sees something wrong with Sakura's arm, but he can't exactly tell what. All he can make of it is that she is bleeding badly and she needs help. "Come on, Crow. We have to get her out of here and find Yusei." Says Jack. He lifts Sakura and stands up, cradling her in his arms. Grim gets up to his feet, standing between Jack and Crow. He then places the cloak over Sakura's body and Jack helps him with that, covering over as much as they can. "Let's go." Crow says. They run off into the rain, with Grim keeping pace at their heels.
Lightning cracks the sky above and rain pours down.
Yusei's running through the rain, looking angry, probably because now he knows Kiryu did something to his sister, and Security vehicles race by.
Crow, too, runs, teeth clenched and eyes wide, with worry and fear.
"Where are you, Kiryu?" Asks Jack, yelling through the storm.
Kiryu's standing in the frame of a broken window of the second story of a building, as a spotlight pins him down.
A second and a third shine on the window, as he ducks out of the light, he's cornered.
An officer on a megaphone speaks. "We know you're there! Come out and surrender!" A few officers carrying batons stand ready in front of the door to the building. They turn to each other and nod. They start to walk toward the door.
Jack and Crow run out of the darkness behind them, leap over their heads and run through the front door.
"What was that?"
Yusei's standing on the roof of an adjacent building. He leaps from the rooftop, a substantial fall, and grabs the railing of an outside staircase with both hands. Yusei swings a bit, then pulls himself up and leaps the railing. He opens the outside door on the stairs and slips inside.
Meanwhile. Kiryu, crouching out of the light blasting through the window, pulls his deck out of its slot and skims it one last time. This is his last stand. Kiryu slots his deck once more and activates his duel disk.
Just then, Jack and Crow burst through the door. They don't even have to say anything, they just activate their own duel disks.
Yusei crashes through one of the few windows in the room that hadn't been broken yet, ninja-style, and activates his duel disk.
Kiryu begins to laugh, hysterically, as his three friends walk over. "I knew it! You're my friends! We're Team Satisfaction!" Kiryu says. "Kiryu, why are you doing something so stupid?" Asks Jack. "We came here to stop you." Crow says. Kiryu grips their shoulders, as though in a huddle, shoulders shaking with crazy laughter. "We're all together!" Says Kiryu. He walks to the lit window, his face a mask of wicked glee. "This will be Team Satisfaction's last duel!" Kiryu says.
Yusei, Jack and Crow watch, solemnly. "Kiryu…" Says Yusei. The flashback ends.
Back to the present. "That's right. Despite everything you did to Sakura. I… We came to save you. But I made the wrong choice last time. That's why I'll save you this time! Just like how you saved me." Yusei thinks to himself.
Sakura, with Grim and Aurora standing on their hind legs and their front paws lying on the D-Wheel, Crow, Ushio, Usagi and both sets of twins watch the screen, anxiously. Crow got himself and Sakura back to the vantage point. "Yusei…" Sakura says.
"I set three cards and end my turn." Says Yusei.
"My turn!" Kiryu says. He draws. "I set one card. Next, I flip over my trap card 'Limit Impulse'! I send two cards in my hand to the graveyard to Special Summon two Soul Tokens." Says Kiryu.
The Soul Tokens have 0 attack points and are Level 1 monsters. "I tribute two Soul Tokens to Tribute Summon Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand!" Kiryu says.
Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand has 0 attack points and is a Level 10 monster.
"He's setting up his handless combo. He has one card left in his hand." Yusei thinks to himself.
"Due to Nightmare Hand's monster effect, I Special Summon a Level Two monster from my hand. Come, Infernity Dwarf!" Says Kiryu.
Infernity Dwarf has 800 attack points.
"He has zero cards in his hand!" Yusei thinks to himself.
"Level Ten Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand dark tunes Level Two Infernity Dwarf! When absolute darkness descends, the eyes of the afterlife open! Shadows, descend! Dark Synchro! Come, Hundred Eyes Dragon!" Kiryu says.
Hundred Eyes Dragon has 3000 attack points and is a Level 8 monster.
"It's that monster again." Yusei thinks to himself.
"My handless combo is now complete! Yusei, your Max Warrior has nine hundred attack points. I'll kill you! Hundred Eyes Dragon attacks Max Warrior! Infernity Sight Stream!" Says Kiryu.
"Hu-ggggghh!" Yusei's life points are down to 1900, his speed counters 0.
"Yusei instantly lost over half his life points. He also has zero Speed Counters." Crow says. "Yusei!" Says Lua.
"How's that? Isn't the pain incredible, Yusei?" Kiryu asks.
"I activate my trap 'Revival Ticket'! For every monster that was destroyed in battle, I destroy one card on my field to regain life points equal to the battle damage I received!" Say Yusei. His life points go back up to 4000. "Next, I can Special Summon all monsters that were destroyed in battle. Come, Max Warrior!" Yusei says.
Max Warrior has 1800 attack points and is a Level 4 monster.
"What?" Asks Kiryu.
"I'm not done! Due to the effect of 'Limit Overlord' that was just destroyed, I can Special Summon Speed Warrior from my hand, deck or graveyard!" Yusei says.
Speed Warrior has 900 attack points and is a Level 2 monster.
"Yusei's incredible!" Says Lua. "He turned back Kiryu's attack." Ushio says.
"Why won't you die, traitor! Still, you can't do anything against Hundred Eyes Dragon!" Says Kiryu.
"My turn!" Yusei says. He draws. "It's true that Speed Warrior and Max Warrior don't have as many attack points as Hundred Eyes Dragon. And I don't have any cards to stop it. In that case..." Yusei thinks to himself. "I flip over my trap card 'Card of Sacrifice'! When the total attack points of my attack position monsters are less than your monster's attack points, I can draw two cards! And this turn, I can't summon or switch monsters' battle positions!" Says Yusei.
"Ahahahahahaha! You can't do anything, Yusei. You're pathetic." Kiryu says.
"Even if I add Speed Warrior and Max Warrior's attack points together… it's still less than Hundred Eyes Dragon's attack points. I draw two cards. I set two cards and end my turn." Says Yusei.
"My turn!" Kiryu says. He draws. "I set one card. Hundred Eyes Dragon's effect activates! It gains the effect of a Dark Attribute monster in my graveyard. I activate Infernity Necromancer's effect that's in my graveyard. When I have no cards in my hand, I can Special Summon one Level Four-or-below Infernity monster in my graveyard. I summon Infernity Archfiend!" Says Kiryu.
Infernity Archfiend has 1800 attack points and is a Level 4 monster.
"I flip over my trap card 'Slip Summon'! I can activate it when my opponent summons a monster. From my hand, I can Special Summon one Level Four-or-below monster in defense position! I summon Ghost Gardna!" Yusei says.
Ghost Gardna has 1900 defense points and is a Level 4 monster.
"Heh! Resistance is futile! I'll show you how dangerous my handless combo is! Hundred Eyes Dragon! Annihilate Speed Warrior! Infinity Sight Stream!" Says Kiryu. Hundred Eyes Dragon attacks.
"Ghost Gardna's effect activates! When a card on my field is the target of attack, I can switch the target to this card!" Yusei says.
"Stop being sneaky! Due to Hundred Eyes Dragon's effect, it gains the effect of Infernity Dwarf in my graveyard! When I have no cards in my hand and your monster is in defense position… if my attacking monster's attack points are greater than your monster's defense points, you take the difference as damage!" Says Kiryu.
"Aa-aa-aa-aaugh!" Yusei goes spinning backward in near-horizontal donuts. His life points drop to 2900 and his speed counters go down to 1.
"Huhahahahahaha! Yusei, don't give up yet!" Kiryu says.
Yusei spins back into the fiery wall, the friction slows him down enough that he can stop spinning, regain his direction, and come right back, racing after him.
"It's still not enough to extinguish my desire for revenge! It's not enough!" Says Kiryu.
Yusei keeps riding, determinedly.
