Hey everyone, happy friday, time for an update. Last week, Jay 2 has been exposed after his anger caused him to become enraged to Jay and wants him dead. But what about Nya telling everyone about the unknown nindroid and Jay on his date with Gwen Stacy? Find out and see what happens next. Oh and I even have another soundtrack added along for this that I quickly thought of before I updated. It's a little short but it'll tie this one part really well for Jay. The link is watch?v=SXKrsJZWqK0 and when you see the link, *, enjoy. :)

Chapter 25: Jay 2, Why?

Rain cascaded softly over Ninjago City with thunder rumbling to echo throughout the night. The heavy droplets splattered on the pavement to darken the grey color concrete and form large puddles and ran down the streets to disappear into the storm drains. A particular puddle slowly grew from collected rain water, but was soon disrupted as someone stepped into to run in haste and sorrow. A girl even as she ran through the storm, not minding she was soaked to the bone in her red knee length dress. She just had to run and run to reach her destination. Even if it means to barge past people, she was willingly not wanting to stop at all. What she had seen terrified her.

Tears streamed down from her redden eyes and rosy red cheeks like the heavy rain to sniffle as she ran. She couldn't believe it still and was hidden underneath her nose. Two Jay's and one was a nindroid taking the real Jay's place. Where was the real Jay even? Dead? No, he was still alive and she could feel it and the imposter was hiding him from her. But something flashed in her mind to make her stop running.

What was she going to tell everyone when she reached the anchored ship? Especially her brother when he hears about this? Tell them that Jay was a robot this entire time and the real one was out there? She didn't know if they'll believe her or not. They'll think Jay is Jay, normal teen and not a nindroid. But she had to tell them something about his...behavior or something to make them convinced that something has been acting him up as if he was really there. She had an idea now and hoped the imposter has been tailing her for it to work.

As the girl ran, she felt relieved to know the Bounty was in sight on Dareth's rooftop to barge into the small dojo in tears, barrel past the teacher as he poked his head out from the beaded curtain from his class when started asking her questions, and soon the stairs to the rooftop and entered the ship. Her cries of sorrow alerted the ship as she raced down the halls to have the Ninja rush toward her and the samurai barreled into her brother to hold onto him tightly. The fire ninja, however, kept blinking confused to look down at his sister confused and stuttered for a bit and wrapped his arms around her to hold her close as she cried in his shoulder. Time for lovable and comforting brother to the rescue. "Hey Sis, it's alright." he cooed softly into her ear while rubbing her back. "No need to cry. I'm here to help and be here for you. What happened to make my baby sister cry?"

"Oh Kai," she cried to him. "You promise to not freak out if I told you?" She looked deep into his chocolate brown eyes to see the corcern, worried, and the hint of a death stare all mixed together. This made her concerned now. But they had to know about the fight and getting struck in the face on accident. To her relief though, she saw her brother nod to make the promise. "Okay," she sighed, rest assured. "You're gonna be mad though, I know it."

"That only depends on what made you upset to come cry to me." Kai chasisted while looking into her eyes. Whenever she told him that saying back before he was a ninja, it angered him toward those that had hurt his sister back in Ignacia Village. The red ninja gazed into her chocolate irises to look away to notice a purplish spot on her right cheek to make him stitch his brows tightly together. "And who hit you?" he asked. "I need to know, Nya." The samurai became nervous now to reply.

"Also where's Jay?" Cole added while glancing around for the lightning ninja. "He was with you and now isn't. That's not him to wander off. Course he has been acting funny for some time lately."

A sigh escaped from the girl's throat to look away for a second and then back at the gathering group. Her brother was going to kill the real Jay or Jay 2 if any of them show up. But they had to know one part of Jay's behavior. "That's the thing though." she chirped in to gather more attention. "Jay was the one who hit me."

Small gasps came from the group to have widen eyes in surprise on that. However, a pair of chocolate eyes were narrow and burn with hatred and rage. Fire burned in his chest as his jaw tightened to a snarl to closely be a growl like a wild animal. Jay did what to his sister? This made the team and Nya nervous to the fire ninja's wrath and could see the fire burning in his eyes. Nya knew he would freak out on this. "But it was an accident!" she exclaimed while trying to retain her brother from murdering someone. Mainly the real Jay. "He was in a fight with that guy from the subway and I tried to stop him, but I didn't expect him to that."

"Doesn't matter!" Kai growled. "He hurts you and I don't care if it was an accient or not. He has no right to smack my sister like she was a toy." He pulled away from the samurai to push past Zane and Cole roughly against the walls to barge into the bunkroom to fish for something. Nya became nervous as she raced after him, but quickly stopped to think of a way to stop her brother from doing something stupid. But she was frozen with worry. Not even the guys and his girlfriend could convince to stop whatever he was doing. The Ninja of Fire finally stepped out of the room with the hilt of his katana gripped tightly to push Lucas, Lloyd, Cole, and Zane away as they blocked his path or tried to restrain him. Nya knew she done it now to him. "Jay is dead to me and that's all that matters!" he grumbled to disappear down the halls while ignoring everyone's pleas and begs.

Thwip! Thwip! Thwip!

The sky grew darker and the rain poured hard as the blue ninja swung through the city, thankful he could swing without the use of his Spiderman suit. But it was still a risk to him if anyone with a camera got a good shot of him as Spiderman. Oh he could see the headlines then if he found out his secret was exposed. Spiderman Exposed, Ninja of Lightning as the Web-Swinging Hero. Ugh, that'll be a nightmare that won't leave him alone forever. But with him able to keep his secret safe, no one will know he's Spiderman.

As the blue ninja swung away into the historical district of Ninjago City, he began to rethink about his night with the young scientist, Gwen Stacy. He was nervous during the entire date espeically having Jay 2 and Nya in the same place as they were. So happy that the samurai didn't catch two Jay's in the same place and him with another girl that was like Nya. That would devastated her and him if Kai found out and killed him. But after making his decision, he knows Nya was the one and after telling Gwen everything about him and Nya, she understood. It confused him at first, but was glad to know she understood his situation. That couldn't have made him more proud to have the weight off his chest and knew where his heart lied onto. Onto Nya as always.

The Destiny's Bounty was soon in his peripheral vision through the darkness to smile as he was soaked to the bone as anyone was in the weather. He smiled as he was glad to be home from tonight's events and pulled himself into a tight ball to lurch himself and land quietly on the upper deck. All was quiet to the lightning ninja as he gazed around the empty halls as he entered the ship to have him raise a brow. He knew someone is home as the lights were on, but why was it quiet all of a sudden. He didn't like it one bit.

His wet shoes squished as he walked down the corridors to leave a wet trail of footprints behind as he glanced around skeptically. It made him relieved as he heard muffled complaints somewhere in the ship, but where? He stopped as his foot hit something on the floor to glance down to see a folded towel to pick it up and looked around more skeptically. Who left this for him anyway? Since he couldn't find anyone to thank and shrugged to throw it over his head to dry his hair and walk away. But he immediately stopped as he felt his spider senses acting up quickly. And it felt like someone was behind him with a katana! In reaction, he quickly ducked to roll away from his unknown threat.

Tttiiinnnggg!

The sound of metal grinding into the wood from where it met its target caused Jay to lift his head quickly and removed the towel to gasp. In front of him stood an enraged red ninja with his chocolate brown eyes blazing fire of anger and both hands wrapped tightly around the sword's hilt. The blue ninja felt his heart beating rapidly to become dumb-folded to wonder why he tried to kill him. He could tell he wanted him dead based on the look on his face; serious and deadly. Jay was crouched on the floor and remained rigid as wood was groaning as the fire ninja was pulling to free his weapon. "You piece of crap!" he shouted at him. "Your head should've been rolling by now!" and finally freed his blade.

Adrenaline was pumping in the auburn's veins to quicken his breath as he felt scared. Kai wanted his head off? For what!? he wondered. He glanced past the burnet to see his friend's racing to the rescue and Cole, Zane, and Lucas each grabbed a hold him to restrain him. But his heart sank as he retaliate himself free from their grips and yelped to dodge the blade while scooting away. What had gotten into him? He looked down to notice he still had the towel in his hands to quickly twist it and made it act like a whip to cause the fire ninja step back. But it wouldn't hold him back for long. "Whoa! Whoa!" he cried out to Kai as he was about to charge at him. "What did I do now to deserve my head being chopped off for? Nothing!"

His hazel eyes grew wide as the fire ninja swung his weapon at him to roll to the side and used the towel to whip back at him. This wasn't getting anywhere that it was. "Like you don't know you lair!" Kai barked loudly. Jay had to look at him the eye and shook his head. He didn't know at all. This made Kai growl more angrily. "You hit my sister that's what! Get into a fight and smacked my sister. Those that do that deserve to die! Such as you!"

"What!?" Jay cried to turn to Nya who had a purplish mark under her right eye. His blood turned to ice as he stared into her teary eyes to feel his eyes turn watery. He would never do such a thing to the girl he chose over and loves with. Sure he was with Gwen, but it wasn't him. But who? But it came to him quickly. Jay 2, what have you done? he breathed. It had to be the android then if it made Nya run to her brother and nearly get killed by him. "No!" he shouted. "I'd never do that to Nya! I love her with my heart and would never do anything to hurt hers. She's the one I'd want to be with forever." He glanced over to the samurai to see her eyes have enlightened suddenly. "So you don't have a reason to kill me for this."

"Oh I do and don't care of yours." Kai snarled. "You hit my sister I will kill you for that! Say your last wor-"

"Kai, stop!" Cole shouted and stood in front of Jay. The lightning ninja felt himself reassured to know the earth ninja was on his side. Regarding if he had hit Nya or not. The black ninja glanced over his shoulder to give Jay a small smile to show him he was on his side and turned back to glare at the burnet as the water and ice ninja joined his side. "We all understand that you want revenge of your sister getting hurt," he growled at him. "But it doesn't mean you have to cut Jay's head off. What would Sensei Wu think of this when he gets back from mediating downstairs? He would be ashame of you!"

*"We all understand about Jay's...behavior lately," Zane added. "But it doesn't mean you have the opportunity to kill our brother. We're on his side and believe he never done anything to hurt Nya like that. It was an accident." Jay couldn't have been more proud to know his friends who he calls as his brothers were supporting with him on this to ensure Kai didn't literally kill him. But it didn't help as he heard the fire ninja growl.

"Doesn't matter if it was an accident or not." Kai grumbled. "He's still dead to me for harming my sister." His legs pumped as he hunched back and soon leaped over the barrier of his friends and stood in front of the frightened Jay. His hands were gripped tightly around the hilt of his sword and held it high and swung it toward him.

Adrenaline kicked into Jay's veins even though he was filled with some more than he needed to have. He side-stepped aside to avoid the sharpened blade to then duck his head as the blade recoiled to make a sudden attack. The lightning ninja kept swaying his body with the use of his spider agility that he uses to dodge close calls when being Spiderman; especially in a narrow hall. He dodged another swipe from happening, but didn't sense for Kai's foot to swipe him off his feet and land roughly on his back. His head screamed in pain from the floor to quickly sense Kai was making a final strike to impale him to open his eyes and plant his hands firmly down and kicked with his feet to launch back in a flip and land in a crouch. His breathing became ragged as well as the fire ninja's as it was tiring to them both, but Jay could see the death glare in his eyes to quickly inhale a deep breath to turn and run down the hall. Of course Kai would follow after him.

He was greeted with the sound of thunder booming loudly with lightning flashing brightly as he was out on the decks. His hair was matted down as he was pelted in the rain to become drenched to the bone again. Scanning around, the blue ninja couldn't find the red ninja for it was dark except for the streetlights, but it wasn't enough. Soon his hazel eyes grew wide as the deck lights illuminated brightly to cause him to stagger as he became blind. No doubt that was a dirty trick by Kai to throw him off when he least expected it. That wasn't going to stop his spider senses alerting him.

Slightly dazed, the auburn shook his head to shake the nauseous feeling away to sense Kai was behind him to duck and rolled to the side and moved his wet bangs from his eyes. He glanced away from the burning eyes of Kai to see a set of his nunchucks and gripped the two handles tightly to stare at Kai with begging eyes. "Kai, like before, I don't want to fight you." he pleaded to him while swinging his weapon over his head to defend himself. "But if it means I have to defend myself, then I will."

"Good." Kai growled with a smirk. "It means you'll die then." and charged toward the teen.

Jay waited for the fire ninja to come closer to roll away and swung his nunchucks around his body and swung the free handle toward his shoulder. The grunt from the spiky haired teen didn't help him much to duck and sway his body to dodge his deadly sword against his that were like for blunt force. With a final strike, Jay gripped both handles tightly as the katana was aiming in a wide arc and caught the blade between the chain links from reaching his head. Strength was the game to both the fire and lightning inja as they were face to face and pushed against each other with Jay slowly falling to one knee. He may have enhanced strength, but Kai had much more anger in him to enhance his strength against his. And with an unknown strike, the auburn felt his foot against his chest to fall back and laid on the wet deck; tuckered out.

Ragged and tired breathing came from the blue ninja as he tiredly prompt himself slowly to glance at Kai with pleading eyes as he advanced toward him. But he knew he couldn't convince him after everything that happened between them. But he had to get away from him to save himself before he could get killed. As the fire ninja stood over him with his katana poised to piece his heart, Jay quickly threw his foot at his kneee to cause him to fall with the sword falling from his grip next to him and threw both feet to push him to the other side of the deck. And with him incapacitated, Jay could walk in to talk to Nya about everything back at the cafe, but instead quickly pulled himself to his feet and ran off the Bounty and down into the alley. But he panicked as he heard another set of feet land behind him as he turned a corner to run and stopped as he reach a dead end.

Trapped. That's how Jay felt now to the dead end and knew Kai was around the corner and if he ran to him, he'll be killed off quickly. He was hooped. So hooped. Oh wait. he paused and looked at his hands and the walls. He was Spiderman and could escape from any situation. With quick thought, he ran up along a dumpster to launch himself higher and soon his fingertips latched onto the brick wall. As he climbed and almost reached the roof, he suddenly felt his fingers lose traction to grip onto anything and finally felt himself falling. He even tried to fire his wrists, but was too late to land inside a dumpster with the lid slamming over him.

His body felt sore and tired after landing in the rough garbage to groggily prompt himself to softly massage the tender areas of his back. Despite the smell of garbage, he was puzzled on why he couldn't climb much suddenly. First not being able to fire his webs, now this. Was he starting to become limited on his powers? Before he could answer that, his thoughts were broken free from the sound of pounding footfalls to lift the lid slightly to peek at the crack to watch Kai catch up to him. He became nervous as he watched the blazing brown eyes search for him and watched Kai scream in anger as he finally lost him. "If I ever catch you with my sister or on the Bounty," he shouted for Jay. "I will kill you! You hear! I will kill you!" and turned to leave.

Jay sighed with a heavy heart as he watched Kai leave and pulled himself out of the metal green dumpster to peer over the corner to see him leave. He couldn't believe that Kai, his best friend who he calls him a brother, wanted to kill him after something he never done to Nya, the samurai he chose over Gwen Stacy. Everyone was on his side, but still Kai wouldn't listen. He glanced down at his shirt to pull the collar down to see the black spider symbol on his chest to frown. He had to wonder if this was a consequence he had to face as a superhero; always having enemies, even if they're family too. "Jay 2, why?" he wondered and turned to disappear into the city.

Poor Jay, accused wrongly for something he never done and Kai wants him dead. Jay 2, why? Oh why? Why does being Spiderman have to be this hard for one? We'll have to see what happens next week. So anyway, thank you reading the update, leave a review if you wish to, have a great weekend and I'll see you all next week. :)
