"Alright Miss. Swan, this won't hurt a bit." Lie. They say it doesn't hurt, but it does. You don't know if you are gonna make it through the night. The last thing you actually see is the face of some doctors and nurses and then a bright light before everything goes dark.
The last thing I did was a mind detachment spell. I could see my body on the surgical table. I walked away from my body heading towards the door… I only had an hour before I was sucked in my body. Walking out and jogging to the waiting area, I spotted them. It was dark out, so it was no surprise in seeing them here. Shaking my head, I walked toward them. After all this was a private waiting area, all expenses paid by the curtesy of the Volturi.
I sat by Alec, seeing him shiver as soon as that action happened, I knew that he knew was next to him. He glanced to where I was and whispered, "So how long is it going to take?"
I chuckled. "A while. They'll be done by twilight." He nodded. "So how is your life back with your dad?" He asked looking at the floor. For those who don't know this, Alec is very sensitive. I was reborn many times. One of those times, I was his godmother, and we were close. So when we saw each other again after his transformation, I told him and Jane of what I was and they accepted it and hid it from their coven.
"Everything is fine. I'm actually moving on. So, I'm happy. Especially since the kids are accepting of this." I smiled as I said this. He nodded, I glanced at the clock, five more minutes. 'Time is going too fast.' I thought. I shifted my eyes to Alec. Reaching out, I grasped his hand, " I need to go now, but we'll speak after the surgery." Closing my eyes, I found myself in the operating room once more. 'Let this be over soon.' Closing my eyes once more I felt myself connect back with my body as I slipped into unconsciousness.
I don't know how much time has passed, but by the time I awoke, the sun was down and a beeping sound could be heard. I glance around the carolina blue room, spotting a vase with white orchids. I heard the door open, slowly turning my head over, I noticed the doctor walking in and not far behind walked in Jane with Felix. Mentally groaning at the fact that Felix was here, I mustered up a smile. "Also, wenn Arzt , wenn ich das Krankenhaus verlassen?"
He smiles, "Ich weiß, was Sie jetzt noch verlassen wollen , aber Sie müssen noch zwei Tage zu bleiben." I nodded as he said this. He went back to examining me as I turned and looked at Jane, a grin spreading on my face. I nodded at her to come closer. Seeing that the doctor left and everything was fine so far, "So, I'm assuming Caius has my room set up for my stay?" I asked her as I shifted so she could sit next to me. "Yes. And I honestly can't wait to go shopping with you. You always seem to give the best opinions." Jane comments.
I laugh, " Well it is my job."
The English translation is basically:
"So, when can I leave the hospital"
"I know what you want, but you still have to stay two more days."
