Hey everyone, happy Friday and time for an update. I'm finally excited that everything in the story I've been waiting for is finally coming. Last week I said I was excited for Venom to now come to life, but let's just say things are getting more interesting after this. It may be short, but it's a filler moment. ;) so enjoy.

Chapter 27: A Proposition With You

His heart ached in pity as he sighed solemnly. Sorrow consumed him as he played with the small ring in his hand to frown as he stared at it. His mind couldn't focus even when trying but he couldn't take his mind off of one person he loves. Nya. The samurai his heart finally told him to choose and it was her. But with Nya, there had to be her brother, who tried to kill him for something he never done; Kai. It wasn't him that had hurt the girl, it was someone else. It may have been him, but in truth, it was an android. To which he sighed as the weight on his chest made him ache more in depression. He wants to resolve everything, but can't now if he tried.

A final sigh escaped from the blue ninja as he wasn't getting anywhere with anything and stared at the ring with the sapphire gem to frown more and rested it back into its satin bed and closed the velvet lid; not wanting to see it again. It would bring more pain to him. His hazel eyes drifted away from his bedside table as he laid in his bed at his aunt's condominium complex to stare at the mask of Spiderman and scooped it up as he prompt himself on his elbows. His frown was still plastered on his lips but wasn't much of a deepen frown, but a small one, as he stared at the white triangular eyes to realize something. When being Spiderman, people would think he wasn't being himself for seeing Jay 2 as him and wouldn't be there to protect his family when being somewhere else. He wasn't Spiderman, he was Jay Walker, Ninja of Lightning. But also a dead man to his teammate. "Why is being Spiderman have to be so hard?" he sighed himself quietly.

Small knocks on Jay's door alerted the auburn to quickly hide his mask under his pillow and his eyes darted to his closet with the door open and his Spiderman suit inside a suitcase. Panicking a bit, he fired his wrist to close the lid and pulled the thread away to toss it outside the open window. "Jay, are you all right?" his aunt asked and cracked the door open a bit. "You've been quiet for some time and it had me worried. Is everything okay?"

Jay to frown at his aunt with tired eyes of hours of nonsleep to shake his head as she took a seat next to him. He had a lot to say, but couldn't bring himself to everything happening to him. Being Spiderman, killing Electro, and accused for hurting Nya which he never done. Almost everything, but his secret had to be kept. He sighed as he grabbed the ring box to stare at it with soft solemn hazel eyes. "I'm not ready, Aunt Mary." he sighed to look at her sadly. "My heart had told me Nya is the one, but... Something grew in my way to pronounce my love for her. I don't think I can make myself convince those I didn't do anything. And yet I'm considered a jerk and now dead if I set foot near her." He drew in a deep breath to feel tears forming in his eyes and felt one cascade down his cheek.

The widow frowned at the tear as she hated seeing her nephew like this. It ached her heart a little to see him cry to softly and pulled him closer to have him lean on her shoulder. And to comfort him more, she softly stroked his auburn hair to comfort him. "What has happened to make you gloom and convicted of the wrong doing?" she asked.

The continuous sighs kept developing in the lightning ninja's throat to lift his head away from his aunt. One way or another, his truth of another Jay had to be told. At least someone he can trust. "Kai accused me that... I harmed Nya." he sighed and heard his aunt gasp quietly under her breath. "But I never did it. I was with Gwen when it happened and Kai, my best friend and a brother to me, tried to kill me for that. I would never do such a thing to Nya. I love her." He turned away to pull himself from the bed to glance at the ring box in his hand. "Somewhere out there, another must've looked like me to do such a thing to Nya. And I intend to find out who. But not today, but another day. But I know I'm not ready for this." He gently took his aunt's hand to lay the black velvet box in her hand and then turned to leave his bedroom while grabbing his jacket off his desk.

Sighing a bit, the widow stared at her nephew with a solemn stare and turned to the box of her old engagement ring to frown a bit. It made her proud to know his heart told him who his true love is, but figured he was right that he wasn't ready for this commitment. She also had to wonder who was this other Jay then? "Where are you going then?" she asked as she watched him throw his jacket on. "It's dark out there and if you go back to Nya, Kai will hurt you. I don't want you hurt more than you already are, Jay."

Jay had to sigh as she was right on that. Going to Nya was a risky move for him, but truthfully he wasn't planning on it anyway. After the events last night, he basically held himself in his room all day in depression because all he could think of was the love of his life. But still, he needed to get out for some air. He even can sense something faint with his spider senses, but shrugged it away as he didn't want to bother with it. "I'm going out for a walk, that's all." he replied as he started to leave but stopped to glance over his shoulder. "As for Nya and Kai, I'll take my risks."

Thwip! Thwip! Thwip!

A blue bolt of electricity struck across the air to strike a target to hear it cry out. The conductor of the source of power growled as he watched his enemy Spiderman crumple from the sky as he was swinging. It surprised him that he didn't dodge it like he remembered him doing. But it didn't bother with him right now. He was now at his pride moment to kill Spiderman now. To which he quickly walked over to his limp body and grabbed it by the scruff of his neck like a cat. "I got you now, Spiderman!" he growled to him up and clenched a fist to start building a powerful electrical current to kill him.

A roar escaped from the black clad Spiderman to have Electro greeted in shock and fear to the razor sharp teeth in a cheshire grin. This wasn't Spiderman at all. A freak with Spiderman's abilities. Out of fear, the electric blue skin man threw the unknown creature aside for it to stick to the brick wall on an alley horizontally and turned to leave. The real Spiderman was around. "I want him dead too, Dillions!" the creature hissed. Electro had to pause and glance over his shoulder slowly. He was on his side?

The black creature had to grin more wickedly and creepily with his sharp teeth to chuckle lightly. He felt proud to run into him along the way. He's been searching for him anyway. "Oh I know all about you." he grinned as he slowly crawled on the wall to him, his claws scraping bits of brick off the walls. "How he has tortured you constantly over and over and even killed you." Dillions began to feel panic overcome him. How would that thing know about him? "How you resurrected is beyond me." he continued to hang on the wall. "Listen, I'm here to make...a proposition with you. You want something and I want something and the only thing standing in our way is that pesky, annoying Spiderman. Interested?"

The man stood rigid to his offer as working side by side. Both have a hatred to Spiderman and both had something they wanted. But what was his? And could he also trust him one-hundred percent on this? Something did not seem to add up to him. "Yeah." he nodded to him. "I know the perfect moment to strike. But how can I trust you that you'll do your end of the bargain?"

A snicker formed in the creature's throat at his suspicions and moved the trendils of the symbiote to reveal his face. Electro lost his voice to the familiar face, only he looked different as his bangs hung over his right eye and covered the scar on his eyebrow. "Between me and him," he smirked. "We exactly look the same. Exactly the same." He lets the symbiote crawl back over his face to have his white eyes and cheshire grin of fangs. "By the way, the name is Venom."

Like I said, short and I know. But hey, filler chapters always have important information that'll help you understand the next motives of a story. So now with Venom and Electro joining side by side, this shall make things for Jay worried about two villains now. Even when it surprises him that Electro is alive. This should be good. So thank you for reading the update, leave a review if you wish to, have a great weekend and I'll see you all next week. :)
