Chapter 33: Duel of Silence

Back at the HQ, Shade and Slade both sighed as the picture of Trey went up in flames
Bulldog then replied, "Thats 3 of our guys gone now."
Shade then replied, "I know and I'm not liking it at all."
Slade then replied, "It'll be okay, son. I'm sending Rokstar out soon to send him out."
Bulldog looked at him and replied, "Is he the guy that can't talk at all?"
Shade nodded and replied, "Yep. Every other sense is okay, but that's the one he can't have. It was a conditon from a horrible sickness he got when he was only a teenager. He barely survived it, but it ruined his vocal cords so bad he can't speak anymore and can only use sign language to speak to us. His hearing and sight are top notch, but he just can't talk at all."
Slade then replied, "Man, thats harsh to hear."
Shade then replied, "After he dropped out of high school, he got on his bike and drove off towards the city where Zander and Shay found him that day and since then he's been a good member."
"How'd he get arrested in the first place, dad?", Slade asked.
Shade then replied, "Car theft and armed robbery of the Red Star gas station in Moose Lake last month."
"Man, that's harsh."
Slade then replied, "He's a better duelist and gangaster now and he won't let us down tonight.'
"Lets hope so, dad. Lets hope so."

That night in the buffet area, Carly and the gang were talking to Michelle about her first win with a new deck.
Carly then replied, "I am really proud of your work earlier today, Michelle. You have a wonderful deck and I'm proud of the hard you did on it!"
Michelle smiled and replied, "Thank you, mom. I am proud of the cards I have in it and I can't believe I have my first win."
Carly then replied, "This deck beats your old one by far."
"What was her old deck?", a curious Christina asked.
Michelle looked at her and replied, "I used and made a decent Phantom Beast deck. I mostly used them for swarming and I also got out Chimera, the Flying Mythical Beast as much as I can as well."
Carly the replied, "She had 3 wins and 5 loses with it, but then she wanted a new theme and now she's a Jurrac user now!"
Sebastian then replied, "She's so much hard for this deck, that I'm glad she's using such a awesome deck."
Michelle smiled and replied, "I'm glad I can do some good, daddy."
"You will always make us proud, honey. Never forget that."

That night in the cafe area, Shade and Slade were chatting with Rokstar. They both didn't know any sign language, but another member of the gang (Who was named Wyatt) knew every sign and part of the language.
Slade then replied, "So, do you have the best cards ever to duel with, Rokstar?"
The gangster began to sign and Wyatt watched him and he nodded and he turned to the leader and replied, "Yes he is and he is honored to be dueling for your group, sir."
Slade then replied, "That is good to here. Do you have any spot at you want to takover?"
He started to use sign language again and Wyatt turned to Slade and replied, "He wants Target Field to take over, sir."
Slade then replied, "That is actually a pretty decent idea, Rokstar."
Wyatt signed that to him and he signed back with a smile on his face and Wyatt then replied, "He says thank you and you want me to be there with him, sir?"
Shade then replied, "You are the only one that can sign to those bratty kids."
Wyatt nodded and replied, "Thank you sir, but I don't want to be banished if he does."
Slade then replied, "Not a problem at all. After the intro and duel began, transport to another part of the stadium and watch them from there. You can view a duel without being banished since you're not the guy dueling, my friend."
Wyatt smiled and replied, "Thank you, sir."
Suddenly, he and Rokstar vanished into black smoke and Slade looked at his father and replied, "He'll be just fine, dad."
Shade then replied, "I know he'll be okay, my dear boy. I just want the FIghters to go down in shame."
"We'll get them, dad. We'll surely be the ones that'll win the battle."

At about 1:30 in the morning, Jacob was going over his deck one more time before he'll be needed.
He sighed and replied, "This deck is truely amazing and I want to use it good and make my leader proud of all of the hard work I've been doing."
Suddenly, Bulldog walked in and he repleid, "Still awake, Jacob?"
He turned to him and he sighed and replied, "I'm just getting my deck ready to go, Bulldog."
Bulldog nodded and repleid, "Its pkay, my friend. I heard that Wyatt and Rokstar left a couple of hours ago."
Jacob sighed and replied, "Rokstar dueled me..and he creamed me with the cards that our leader gave him to use!"
Bulldog then replied, "I saw that duel from the stands and he does have a powerful deck now."
"That's why I'm in here. My deck wasen't good enough to beat his and I still want to use it, but I need better cards."
Bulldog then repleid, "I see. I'll take to them tomorrow about what you just told me and I'll see if they can be any help to you, my friend."
Jacob the replied, "Thank you so much, Bulldog."
"It won't be a problem at all, Jacob. Get some rest now."
Jacob nodded as he got up and grabbed his deck and quickly left and Bulldog then replied, "Rokstar has a decent deck, but he'll never beat my championship deck."

That next day, the gang was again enjoying a great meal made by Michelle.
Ginny then repleid, "That girl is a terrific cook!"
Carly then replied, "Yes she really is, Ginny. She has been taught well."
Suddenly, Melissa ran in and she replied, "Carly!"
Carly turned to her and replied, "What can I do for you, Melissa?"
"Nothing for me, but we just found another gang member, madam!"
"Where at?"
"Target Field!"
Carly then replied, "Okay, we'll get going soon."
Ginny got up and repleid, "I'm dueling this guy or girl this time. My deck is ready to go!"
Carly nodded and repleid, "Okay then."
Christina and Kelly got up and replied, "We're going too!"
Carly then replied, "Good. Sebastian, you want to go with them or should I?"
Sebastian then replied, "I'll go with them, honey."
"Sounds good and good luck, Ginny!"
Ginny smiled and replied, "Thanks, Carly."

Later that morning, Rokstar and Wyatt were feasting on some breakfast tacos that Wyatt made for them inside the VIP room in the stadium.
Wyatt then replied, "Enjoying your breakfast, dude?"
Rokstar nodded to him and then gave him a thumbs up as well and Wyatt then replied, "You're a good duelist and great guy and I can't to watch you crush those members!"
Rokstar nodded as he began to sign to him and then Wyatt nodded and replied, "I totally agree with that, Rokstar. You'll do just fine."
Suddenly, The gang walked into the room and Kelly then replied, "We thought we'd find you here."
Wyatt saw Ginny and he smiled evily and replied, "Nice to see you again, Ginny."
Ginny groaned and replied, "ANYONE but you, you dick."
Sebastian then replied, "You were a total jerk and asshole and I'm glad Ginny dumped your ass a long time ago, Wyatt!"
Christina then replied, "So, I'm guessing this is the guy who used the Xyz deck to smash your Synchros?"
"Yes, this is the guy."
Wyatt chuckled and replied, "That was a very fun duel for me. What the hell do you want?"
Ginny then replied, "I want a duel one of you!"
Wyatt pointed to Rokstar and he replied, "You'll be dueling my friend Rokstar here."
Ginny turned to him and replied, "You ready to have a duel with me, dude?"
He nodded his hand to her and he lifted his duel disk into the air and Kelly replied, "Not talking, eh?"
Wyatt then replied, "Thats because a early childhood disease destroyed his vocal cords and he can only talk now by signing and writing things down."
Christina then replied, "I don't know any sign language at all."
"Me too, Christina.", Kelly said with a sigh.
Ginny then replied, "I took a course about it in our timeline, so I can translate anything he says."
Sebastian smiled and replied, "I was in that same course with you, Ginny."
Wyatt then replied, "How cute. I can't wait for him to wipe you out!"
Rokstar gave them a thumbs up and then Ginny replied, "Ready to duel, dude?"
Rokstar nodded as he began to sign and Wyatt nodded and replied, "He says he'll cream you any day of the week."
Ginny then replied, "Lets go down to the field to duel then."

A few minutes later, they got down to the field and were ready to duel.
Wyatt then replied, "My buddy will get the first move."
"Whatever you say."
They both activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards.
"Lets duel!", Ginny yelled out.
(Rokstar LP: 8000 - Ginny LP: 8000)
Wyatt smiled and replied, "We'll meet again soon, Ginny."
Suddenly, he vanished into a cloud of black smoke.
Ginny then replied, "Should of guessed."
Rokstar drew a card and then he sat a monster down and placed 2 more cards facedown and then he pointed to Ginny and she replied, "I'm going to guess that mean's its my turn now?"
Rokstar nodded as Ginny drew a card and then she replied, "I summon my Junk Blader!"
As she sat the card down, the junky warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack his facedown monster with Junk Sword!"
The warrior went in and a Shining Angel appeared on the card (DEF: 800) and with swipe of his sword, the angel was blasted into pixels and then Rokstar nodded and a young child-like warrior appeared infront of him (ATK: 1,000).
Sebastian then replied, "Thats Silent Swordsman LV3!"
Christina then replied, "Those group of guys are nothing but trouble."
Ginny then replied, "Whatever you say. I'll set a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
As Rokstar drew a card, the swordsman began to glow and he become a taller warrior with a longer sword (ATK: 2,300).
"Is that his level 5 form?", Christina asked.
Kelly nodded and replied, "Yes it is."
He pointed to his facedown on the left and his facedown Dust Tornado lifted and the imfamous dust-storm shot out and blew Ginnys facedown Widespread Ruin to shards.
"Damn."
As he sat another monster in his Monster Zones, a very famillar magical warrior appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Thats Breaker the Magical Warrior!", Christina said.
As Breaker's sword began to glow (ATK: 1,600 - 1,900) and then the glow died down (ATK: 1,900 - 1,600) and he swung his sword and a wave of black energy shot out and cleaved Ginny's facedown Negate Attack in two pieces.
"Man, this guy is good.", Kelly said with a sigh.
He pointed and the Swordsman went in and swung and struck the Junk Blader with his sword as he walked away, the junky warrior fell to the ground in two pieces and then he pointed again and then Breaker went in and struck her down with his sword (Ginny LP: 8000 - 5900).
"Man, she's in rough shape right now.", Sebastian said with a sigh.
Suddenly, he played a spell card and it appeared.
Sebastian then replied, "Damn, that smarts."
Kelly then replied, "What is that spell card?"
"Its called Spear of Submission and as long as he names off a type of summoning, Both of them can't do it for 3 turns."
Rokstar began to sign and Sebastian sighed and replied, "He said he chooses Synchro Summoning."
The gangster nodded as he sat another card down and then he pointed at Ginny and then she drew a card and replied, "I summon my Gearfried the Iron Knight!"
As he sat the card down, the Iron Knight appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack!"
The warrior went and struck the Magical Warrior and the sword flew from Breaker's hands before he shattered into triangles (Rokstar LP: 8000 - 7800).
Ginny smiled and replied, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Rokstar drew a card and then his warrior grew larger and his sword become much, much longer then before."
"Great with Silent Swordsman LV7 on the field, she can't use her spells!", Kelly said with a moan.
"At least he can't either, guys.", Sebastian said.
Suddenly, he pointed to his facedown card and then a glass-like shield appeared in the Swordsmans left hand.
"Thats SIlent Shield!", Sebastian said with a groan.
Christina looked puzzled and replied, "What does it do?"
Sebastian then replied, "It allows the controller of Silent Swordsman LV7 to use spell cards."
He sat a card down and then he pointed and then the Warrior went and made a heavy slice with his sword, cleaving Gearfried right down the middle with his mighty sword. the two pieces shattered to little bits (Ginny LP: 5900 - 4900) and then she quickly replied, "I activate Option Hunter!"
Suddenly, she began to glow (Ginny LP: 4900 - 6700).
Rokstar nodded as he pointed to her and then Ginny drew a card and replied, "I special summon Junk Foward with its effect since I don't have any monsters!"
Suddenly, a robot-like warrior appeared on the field (ATK: 1,600).
"Next, I summon my Gogogo Golem!"
As he sat the card down, a large rocky golem appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now overlay my 2 monsters!"
Both turned into white orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
Sebastian smiled and repleid, "She's making her first Xyz Summon! She wanted to with that first deck, but never did thanks to that asshole Wyatt!"
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now..Zubaba General!"
As he sat the card down, a mighty armored warrior with a large blade appeared (ATK: 2,000).
Christina then replied, "You go, girl!"
"I now remove one Xyz Material monster to equip him with a Warrior from my hand and I choose my Trident Warrior!"
As he removed the card, he sword began to glow (ATK: 2,000 - 3,800).
"Now, go for his Silent Swordsman!"
The mighty General went in and he the mighty Swordsman tried to block with his sword, but he smashed it to pieces with one smash and then he struck the Swordsman with his sword and then he let out groan before he burst into globules of light (Rokstar LP: 7800 - 6800).
Kelly then replied, "Good start, girl!"
Ginny smiled and replied, "Its your turn now."
Rokstar nodded as he drew a card and then he sat a monster facedown and 1 other card facedown and that he pointed to her and then Ginny drew a card and replied, "I summon my Blue Flame Swordsman!"
As she sat the card down, the mighty blue-flamed warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Swordsman, attack!"
The warrior swung his sword and a wave of hot flames shot out and a Shining Angel appeared on the card before the flames burnt him to a crisp and then his 3rd and final one appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"General, attack!"
The general charged and with swift slice of his mighty sword, bisected Shining Angel at the waist with his mighty sword (Rokstar LP: 6800 - 5400) and as the two pieces dissolved into light, a young child-like spellcaster appeared and she pointed her staff to the sky (ATK: 1,000).
"Thats Silent Magician LV4!", Kelly replied.
Christina then replied, "He's using a Silent monster deck? Awesome."
Sebastian then replied, "So far, I think that the Magicians and the Swordsman are the only Silent group of monsters in the game so far."
"That'll end my turn now."
Rokstar nodded as he drew a card and then he played another spell card.
"Thats Spell Power Grasp! Now he can give his Silent Magican a spell counter!", Sebastian explained.
Suddenlty, her scepter began to glow as a orb of magic energy flew into it (ATK: 1,000 - 1,500) and then he revealed his facedown card and it was a Dust Tornado and blew the equipped monster to bits (ATK: 3,800 - 2,000).
"Its still weaker then she is.", Kelly said.
Suddenly, she played another spell card and it was her Shrink (ATK: 2,000 - 1,000).
"Me and my big mouth."Kelly said with sigh.
He pointed and he fired a burst of magic energy it shot out and struck the mighty warrior in the chest and he let out a groan before the mighty general exploded into shards (Ginny LP: 6700 - 6200).
"This guy knows how to duel.", Christina."
Sebastian ndoded and replied, "He must of got some decent cards from his boss."
He sat another card and then pointed to Ginny and then his Spear of Submission card shattered into pieces and then as Ginny drew a card, Silent Magician began to glow (ATK: 1,500 - 2,000) and then Ginny replied, "I now summon my Axe Raider!"
As he sat the card, the axe-using Barbarian appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I use my Blue Flame Swordsmans ability to give 400 of his attack to Axe Raider."
His sword began to glow (ATK: 1,800 - 1,400) - (ATK: 1,700 - 2,100).
Rokstar pointed to his facedown card and a spell card appeared.
"Rats, thats Forbidden Dress!", Kelly said with a groan.
Suddnely, he let out a groan (ATK: 2,100 - 1,100).
Sebastian then repleid, "I have to admit, this guy is a clever duelist."
"Damn you. I end my turn now."
Rokstar drew a card and he summoned a monster and it was tall female mage wearing a beautiful green robe with small diamonds and other gems on it (ATK: 1,700).
"Thats LV Mage!", Sebastian explained.
Christina looked puzzled and replied, "I never heard of her!"
Sebastian then replied, "As long as she remains on the field, any LV monster cannot be targeted by the opponets card effects!"
Rokstar nodded and then he played a famillar-looking spell card.
"Thats Spellbook in the Pot!", Christina yelled out.
Both drew 3 cards from their decks and then he activated another card and it was the famillar Ego Boost and LV Mage began to glow (ATK: 1,700 - 2,700).
"Dang, this guy has a card for everything!", Kelly replied with a sigh.
Rokstar pointed and LV Mage fired a burst of light from her scepter and it fired, blowing Axe Raider to shards and then he pointed again and then Silent Magician pointed again and then it fired a huge burst of light and it shot out and struck, blowing Blue Flame Swordsman into fragments (Ginny LP: 6200 - 4600) and then Flame Swordsman appeared (ATK: 1,800) and then he sighed as he sat a card facedown and then he pointed to Ginny and then she drew a card (SMLV4 ATK: 2,000 - 2,500) and replied, "I summon my Tune Warrior!"
As he sat the card down, the robot-like warrior appeared (ATK: 1,600) and then Rokstar pointed to his facedown card and the trap flippped up.
"Thats The Transmigration Prophecy!", Sebastian replied.
He took his Spear of Submission and his Forbidden Dress and shuffled the cards into his deck and then Christina then replied, "He must know about Ginny's usings of Synchros."
"Whatever. I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
The warrior began to glow as he split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Flame Swordsman, which turned into 5 white stars and as that happened, Ginny raised her hands in the air and began to chant:
"Flash of light that splits the sea of stars! Shake our souls and roar through the world! Synchro Summon! Stardust Spark Dragon!"
As she sat the card down, the beautiful light form of Stardust Dragon appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,500).
Rokstar looked at the dragon with awe.
"Now, attack his LV Mage attack with Neon Spark Blast!"
The dragon opened its mouth and launched its burst of light and it shot and struck, blowing LV Mage to atoms (Rokstar LP: 5400 - 4700).
"There you go. I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Rokstar drew a card and then he played his Second Spell Power Grasp and she began to glow again (ATK: 2,500 - 3,000).
Ginny quickly replied, "I use my dragons ability to prevent it from being destroyed!"
He nodded as he pointed and then he fired a burst of light and shot out and struck the dragon in chest (Ginny LP: 4600 - 4100) and then he sat a card facedown and then he signaled his turn was over and then Ginny drew a card (ATK: 3,000 - 3,500) and then she replied, "I play Forbidden Chalice!"
Suddenly, she let out a small groan (ATK: 3,500 - 1,400).
"I now summon my Master of Flaming Dragonswords!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery sworded warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Warrior, attack!"
The warrior went and slashed with his sword, blowing Silent Magician LV4 to little pieces.
"Spark Dragon, attack him directly!"
The dragon opened its mouth and fired its burst of light & energy and it shot out and struck the bandit (Rokstar LP: 4700 - 1800).
Ginny smiled and replied, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Rokstar drew a card and then he played the card he drew.
"That's Treasured Cards from Heaven!", Sebastian explained.
They both drew until they each had 6 cards And then he nodded and then he played another one.
"There's Monster Reborn!", Christina said with sigh.
Suddenly, Silent Magician LV4 appeared (ATK: 1,000).
Ginny quickly replied, "I choose my dragon to be once again with his effect!"
He nodded and then he played another spell card!"
"Great, thats Level up!.", Kelly said with a groan.
The young child began to glow as she grew into a taller and more beautiful spellcaster (ATK: 3,500).
"There's Silent Magican LV8!"
Suddenly, he played another spell."
"Damn, thats Forbidden Chalice!", Kelly said with a groan.
The dragon let out roar (ATK: 2,500 - 2,900) and then he pointed to his facedown card and another Dust Tornado appeared and it shot out and blew Ginny's facedown Shifting Mirage to bits.
Kelly then replied, "Damn, this guy is good."
He pointed and she aimed her scepter and fired a huge fiery burst of light and shot out and struck the dragon in the chest and it let out a weak cry before dissolving into particles (Ginny LP: 4600 - 4000) and then he sat a card facedown and then he signaled his turn was over.
"Man, Ginny is having so much trouble with this guy.", Kelly sadly said.
Sebastian then replied, "Let's hope she can do this."
Ginny drew a card and relied, "I'll switch my weaker warrior to defense postion and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rokstar drew a card and then he played the well-known Fiend's Sanctuary and the beady token appeared (ATK: 0).
Christina then replied, "I wonder what he'll do with it."
Suddenly, the token vanished and the imfamous trap destroyer appeared with glowing red eyes (ATK: 2,400).
"No, Its Jinzo!", A worried Christina yelled out.
Sebastian then replied, "If he had Silent Swordsman LV7 and Jinzo on the field at the same time, that would be a huge lockdown!"
He nodded as he pointed and then Jinzo fired its trademark attack and it shot out and struck, blowing Master of Flaming Dragonswords to atoms and as he pointed at Ginny's facedown monster, she fired a huge burst of light from her scepter and a Little Winguard appeared on the card (DEF: 1,800) before he was blown into fragments and then he sat a card facedown and then he pointed to her and she drew a card and replied, "Damn. I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rokstar drew a card and then he played Heavy Storm and both of her cards shattered into pieces.
Christina then replied, "Ouch."
He pointed again and Jinzo fired his attack and it shot out and a Nitro Synchron appeared on the card (DEF: 100) and the huge blast blew the small tuner to little pieces and then she aimed her scepter and fired her attack and it shot out and struck her in the stomach (Ginny LP: 4000 - 500).
He then pointed to her and Ginny smiled and replied, "When you destroyed my facedown cards, you destroyed by Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and a special monster called Silver Sentinel that can be set in the spell and trap zones and when its destroyed by a card effect while in my spell and trap zone, I can special summon him and also destroy one of your monsters!"
Suddenly, a warrior in a white and blue parks appeared while holding onto a sniper rifle (ATK: 1,500).
"Your Silent Magician is about to be destroyed!"
He aimed at the spellcaster and fired two shots and they shot out and struck her in the chest and she let out a weak cry before she collapsed to the ground and dissolved into pixels and Rokstar only sighed at this.
"Thats one way to get rid of a monster.", Kelly said.
Sebastian then replied, "Not a bad move.
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I now discard 1 card to bring out my Quickdraw Synchron!"
As she discarded a Speed Warrior, the cute robot cowboy appeared (ATK: 700).
"Next, I remove one of his Level Stars to special summon my Level Eater!"
Suddenly, a small insect flew out of the tuners body (LV: 5 - 4) and landed next to the tuner (DEF: 200).
"My Synchron will be playing the part of Fleur Synchron, so I tune him with my Silver Sentinel!"
Suddenly, the cowboy tuner fired a couple of shots into the air as he split into 4 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Silver Sentinel, which turned into 4 white stars as well and as this happened, Ginny raised her hands in the air and began to chant:
"My body that's faster than the speed of light, the time for Revolution has come! Bring victory into my hands! Synchro Summon! Shine, Chevalier De Fleur!"
As she sat the card down, a mighty warrior appeared and she swung her sword around as well (ATK: 2,700).
Kelly then replied, "Yea, baby!"
"Next, I play Double Summon to offer my small bug for my Junk Dragonlet!"
As the bug vanished, the many armed mechanical dragon appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Lets do it. Chevalier, attack!"
The warrior went in and jammed her sword into the chest of the machines and sparks flew where sword struck before the android collapsed into a pile of broken metal.
"Dragonlet, end this!"
The machines arms shot out and each of them punched him in the stomach (Rokstar LP: 1800 - 0).
Christina smiled and replied, "Great job, girl!"
Suddenly, he vanished into a cloud of black smoke and then a single card was in the spot where he was standing.
Sebastian then replied, "I wonder what that card is!"
Ginny walked up to it and she grabbed and it was another Xyz and she read it and she smiled and replied, "I have the right cards for it too!"
Sebastian then replied, "Lets head out guys."

Meanwhile at the upper ledge, Wyatt sat back down in his seat after watching his buddy get defeated.
He sighed and replied, "I'll get her for you, buddy!"
Suddenly, he vanished into black smoke as well.
