Hey everyone, happy Friday and time for a brand new chapter. I know I always say that I'm excited for each chapter, but when it comes to fight chapters and or final boss moments, I can only feel excited for the climax of every story. So enjoy the chapter! :D

Chapter 29: Battle of the Lightning Masters

Baffled. Startled. Confused. Amazed. Blown away on the surprise. The choices of words were endless to what stood in front of the Ninja, Gwen, and Nya's eyes. Two Jay's, one Spiderman and the other as the evil Spiderman. But which one was their real Jay if there was two of them? No possible way Garmadon create this doupleganger without their consent. So how? But over all, the smile on the samurai's lips grew as she stared at the real Ninja of Lightning to choke on her words to see him alive. It was her real Jay, human, and not a nindroid.

"I'm confused." Laurie exclaimed as she kept staring back and forth at the two Jay's. "How are there two of you and why be Spiderman? Who is the real Jay?"

Jay sighed to roll his hazel eyes to the wind ninja. Of course she never experienced encountering an evil clone created by her father and fighting it at Darkly's. But things do come when she leasts expects it. "I already said it, Laurie." he sighed. "I'm the real Jay. He's nothing by a android that I brought to life and let him take my place while I was gone as Spiderman. His name is Jay 2."

A cry of anger escaped from the android as he grabbed onto a table to throw it at the blue ninja, but it was easily dodged to let it fall to the ground. Brought to life and used to take his place, yeah right. More like stolen and made as a puppet. "You never created me liar!" he barked. "You stole me and made me a puppet! My name isn't Jay 2 or Experiement Zero." he noticed the crystal blue eyes of Gwen Stacy growing to smirk. "My name is V.E.N.O.M. Virtual Experimented Natural Obtained Matronic, or just Venom. I know who I am now and now that you're here, we can do a small test, Jay. Which girl you love will be saved?" He smirked as he brought the girls closer to him. "If you know what I'm talking about."

"What?" Nya gasped confused as she stared at the snow-white haired girl and then Jay to see his face grow solemn.

"Oh you never knew, did you?" Venom laughed. "Our superhero here had a heart for two girls. Right Jay?" Nya stared into Jay's eyes with slowly hurting eyes to see him frown and hung his head. The samurai choked on her words to feel her eyes sting a little. To the android, it felt like music to his ears. "Oh don't feel bad, he wasn't the only one keeping this a secret. Right Cole?" Cole became stiff to stare into Kai's angered eyes and the widen eyes of the raven haired girl to chuckle nervously. "Thought so. You see how much of a traitor for a ninja you have here, Ninja? You've been deceived and lied to. He's the one who killed Electro before and cheated Nya for Gwen Stacy. One date with her, please." He turned to Jay to glare at his glare. "So what do you have to say, Spiderman. And who do you really fall for?" He growled to lift the two girls by their throats.

Anger blossomed in the blue ninja as he growled at him. He's not the one who deceived him. Ja-Venom was the one. This new name was a menace to him now. But it did suit him. But that's beside the point. Two girls his heart fought over were in danger. "We don't have to do this." he chasisted. "We can talk this out and settle our differences. Just put them down."

The smirk on the android's face fell to growl. There was nothing to talk about. His entire time of awakening was nothing but play to him. He was tired of his control like before. And when he demanded to put them down, made his energy source burn darkly. "There is nothing to settle between you and me." he hissed. "All of my life since I was created, I was nothing but a toy. For your childish play as Superhero! I've grown now from you and the only thing you have to worry about is the lucky lady you love. Only one can be saved, Jay Walker!" His face was soon covered by the symbiote to take the face of the terrifing creature to screech and threw the girls past Jay and out into the open, screaming as they fell.

"NO!" Jay cried out to pull his mask over his face and dove after them. He made his body narrow to dive after them faster, but Nya was falling more than Gwen was. His choice to save on over the other couldn't happen. If he saved Gwen over Nya, he would never forgive himself, neither would Kai. But if he saved Nya over Gwen, he still wouldn't forgive himself nor would her family. He had to shake the possiblities away as that didn't matter. If he didn't save his uncle before, didn't mean he could let them die too.

Out of heroism, he fired a web to swoop down and catch Gwen, but tossed her up to fire a catching web for her to land on and dove down to grab Nya and fired a web to stretch with their weight and felt the stretched force launch them upward to land on the web with Gwen. The crowd below and outside the power grid cheered. "You okay?" he asked with a sigh of relief.

Nya had to look at him with a scared look, but shakingly nodded. "Yeah." she replied to quickly pull him into a tight embrace. Jay was baffled at first, but hugged her back as well. He was more relieved to see her alive.

A screech of anger escaped from the symbioted nindroid to hiss as his attempts to break Jay weren't working as planned. Saved both of them instead of letting the other die. He'll have to resort to a new plan now. But with Venom distracted, Lucas saw his chance to break free from his bounds, starting by wiggling his arms. Underneath the sleeves of his sweatshirt, it was always a good plan to stow his sai's along with him. And with the wiggling of his arms, it allowed the twin blades to slip free from the hidden sheaths he had tailored himself and let the handles fall into his hands. To which he smirked as he positioned the blades to cut his bonds. "Don't worry guys," he said as he kept an eye on Venom incase he turned. "I'll get us out of this and we have to help Jay somehow." And with a quick swipe, he freed himself from the threads that bound him to the others and spun in his misty grey tornado to free his friends, father, and cousins. "Hey Jay 2, we need to talk." and sliced the thread to let Cole, Kai, and Zane have their weapons back into their hands.

The loud electrical static broke the silence to have Jay and the two girls snap their heads as plasmic rods of energy danced around the spires. And in the center of them reanimated Electro as he growled in hatred. And the blue ninja knew it was toward him. Almost everything he had done to him until the murdering in the storm drain. He could see it was now a final stand between them and both wouldn't go down without a fight. "I'll get you two down later." he said, voice hidden of worried. "I got to settle something once and for all." and jumped down to swing for the electric man.

The two girls watched the auburn swing toward Electro to begin to feel worried for him. Sure they had seen him fight the man before in Ninjago Square, but they could see Electro was powerful and had control of his powers to all of Ninjago City. And if he kept in his control, power failures will run through the city and many places would be in danger like hospitals. This was what made the girls worried if Jay failed. Gwen turned her head to Nya as she fumbled on her bracelet to see a projected hologram of her samurai mech suit appear to sigh and grabbed her wrist to start hacking with it. "What are you doing!?" Nya snapped at the young scientist. "Jay needs my help."

"Exactly." Gwen retorted to have a hologram of Oscorp appear. "I'm calling in a friend to help with your samurai armor. And before you ask, it was one time for coffee with Jay and he told me all about you. He says you're an amazing girl." She felt something slug her arm painfully to wince a bit but kept hacking. "In fairness I did deserve that, but you'll thank me later."

Electricity danced around Jay as he swung through the power grid and performed a backflip as he launched himself onto a generator and land in a crouch. He stared down at Electro as he glared at him while levitating from the ground. And the power around him grew to notice all the buildings flickered to realize he had control of the power of the city and two large cables were destroyed. Uh-huh. he wondered. If all else fails, I can repair that with my webs and maybe use his powers against him. Like a magent.

"You're too late, Spiderman!" Electro barked to have Jay snap back to him. Electricity danced around the man's palms as he floated below Jay, waiting to strike. "I have control to the city and power beyond your wildest dreams. More power than before." Jay quickly glanced down from his senses to see large pipes below him to see water rushing through with bold letters to hint him; HYDROGEN. One blast can weaken him. "With this power, I am stronger and powerful. I am a god."

"A god named Sparkles?" Jay taunted. He smirked as Electro turned purplish in anger and fired his bolts and quickly jumped while twisting his body to let the plasmic bolts graze his back and stomach area and flipped to break the pipes with his feet to cause them to bend with water spraying. In order to succeed, he fired his wrists to latch onto the weakened spots and pulled until the thick pipes burst and fired gallons of water like a fire hosed aimed for the man.

Electro saw the pulse of liquid aimed for him to gasp as it was his weakness Spiderman killed him with before. "Not this time!" he exclaimed as he teleported himself quickly and fired his electrical powers. Both elements clashed into each other and the water wasn't conducting against his powers, but both remained suspended in place. But the pulse of salt water from the bay dimished as the potential energy stored in was excavating and the man stopped releasing his energy to chuckle as it was child's play now.

Lost, that's how Jay felt as his chances of water were gone to weaken his foe and realized he has to go to Plan B. Use his power against him. The lightning ninja's sense alerted him to jump to the side and fired his wrists to catch onto his chest. He struggled to pull him down, but the man grabbed onto the strands to conduct his powers down on a current like back in Ninjago Square. Jay, however, smirked as the current never met his wrists to remain suspended. Unbeknownst to Electro was that Jay had wrapped copper wiring around his wrists after using a car battery to help repulse the man's powers. "Oh thank you, Gwen Stacy! Haha!" he chirped and spun on his heels and whipped Electro to the ground to create a crater after he collided into the ground.

Jay quickly saw him recover to swing away as he transversed through the spires and felt his senses to pull on his webs to dodge acrobatically as Electro broke through to attack him. Parts flew around the two in scattered bits and Jay took this as a chance to latch onto a large piece and swung it at the man to stun him and dove down to swing as Electro materialized into the electrical field. Alerted from both his senses and his eyes, the blue ninja swung around the power grid, but failed to see his foe sprang from his right to be tackled to the rough asphalt in the ground to create another large crater in the road. Pain radiated Jay's back but ignored it as he struggled against the man's weight. "That all you got!?" he taunted him.

Anger roared through the man's body as he screamed into Jay's face, skin turning from its translucent bluish purple tone to dark red purple and exerting bolts of electricity from his mouth. Jay could feel his body thrashing to the electrical flow of the man's power to struggle to remove him off. He knew he angered him more than before. The pain continued to dance through his body to the point where Jay realized his heart was going to quit on him to quickly think of a plan. He quickly planted his feet onto his chest and used all the strength he could muster to kick him off and fired his wrists to pull himself up and swing away to try and wear the tingliness out of his body.

The Ninja of Lightning felt relieved to have gotten himself out from electrocution to death. But it didn't mean he'll get that metallic taste out of his mouth from past experiences of electrocutions. But he kept swinging and every time Electro would appear when destroying the spires in the process, he would either twist his body to dodge a bolt from striking him or fired a web to catch a piece and whip it around him and threw it at the man. He started to realize that this was becoming a distraction if his counterpart was killing his friends if he didn't finish his mission soon to stop the man from controlling the power. In an attempt now to stop him, he fired his wrists to latch onto Electro and spun on his heels with him spinning and threw him into a generator. Sparks scattered after the man broke through the metal shell of the generator, but Jay stopped as he felt this wasn't over. Not even with the spires enlighting around him. "Oh boy..." he sighed as his senses buzzed.

An echoey strum, similar to an electric guitar strumed higher or low quickly with a blue bolt dancing through the spires to cause them to brighten with its nonchatical strum. Jay kept turning on his toes as the bolt flew by him, but was quickly greeted as Electro materailized in front of him and felt his jaws being struck to roll on the ground. He tried to pull himself up as Electro's electrified music rang, but soon felt a boot into his chest to be kicked through a spire and rolled on the ground to prompt himself. "I hate this kind of music." he spat sarcastically as it reminded him of techno music. Jay kept watching the large bolt scatter to quickly jump to his feet to start swinging away, but was suddenly grabbed by his throat to scream as the electric man conducted his powers through him and was then thrown against a different spire.

The pain subsided as he slowly and carefully pulled himself to his feet. He started to realize that if his foe had this advantage more, he was finished. But his hazel eyes darted back to the two main power lines that were destroyed by Electro to nod. I got no other choice now. he muttered under his breath. Even if it kills us both. His senses alert the auburn to glance over his shoulder as the blue bolt was near him to jump while pivoting his body to dodge his reach. And in response, he fired his wrists to catch onto his back to let the current take him into the air and lets go to fall into a free fall.

Jay had to laugh as he felt adrenaline refuel his body to fire strands of web from his right wrist to start forming a crude web around him while swinging with his left. Just as he predicted, Electro would follow to go for the kill on him while in the process breaking through the threads to slow him down and broke the spires. To which he would catch a piece to throw at him when he had a chance to weaken him. The lightning ninja kept dodging and twist his body of bolts that tried to electrocute him and dropped down to the ground to slide his feet on a wire and ran as he got closer to the main wires and swung to be in the center. And in a last stunt, he fired a flurry of sticky threads at Electro to pin his arms to his chest.

He had him now.

Thwip! Thwip! Thwip! Thwip!

Jay quickly grabbed the threads he fired at the broken ends of cables but gasped the man broke free from his trap to start quickening his pace to entwined them. But screamed in pain as Electro was unleashing all of his power to have him crumple to one knee. Pain scattered and danced in his body as his plan was coming into play and gritted his teeth and he struggled to connect the last strands together. But with the unleashed power, he started to see stars in his vision and his heart beating rapidly like it was going to quit on him. This can't stop him, not when he's close even.

Grunting while trying to ignore the pain, he finally tied to the ends together to form an X pattern and held his right hand behind him, aimed for the main breaker switch behind a wall of glass. "Only one shot." he groaned and fired his wrist. A ball of web formed and projectiled from his wrist to sail through the air, broke through the glass, and the momentum cause the switch to be flipped. Jay smiled as he did it.

The spider threads were vibrating in his hands as he knew the back up stored power was now coursing through the cables and his webs. He felt a silent jolt pierce his body to scream on the raw power combining with Electro's to feel his muscles tighten in a strong grip in his control. He finally felt a force shove him away like he was struck by a truck with the intensity of a lightning bolt colliding with him and land on the ground roughly. His limbs flailed and twitched a little and his body shook in painful spasms to groan as he kept his eyes pried open as he watched the white current of the power grid react and reached Electro.

Electro's screams reverbrated throughout the power grid as powerful pulses of energy entered his body to have him in unbearable pain. He tried to pull himself away or tried to merge himself with the flow, but it kept repulsing him away or attract him to stay suspended in the air; like a magnet. Dillions had his eyes squeezed tightly as his skin turned a bright purplish red and pried an eye open to watch the translucent hue slowly fade to his normal and original skin tone to scream in anger. His powers were being drained away or soon be killed, either way he didn't want either to happened. "No!" his voice echoed loudly. "No!" With a final blast, he disappeared into a bright light with showers of sparks cascading down and the buildings around Ninjago City soon had their returned power.

Jay, who had witnessed everything, slowly started to regret on killing the man twice as he was nowhere to be in sight as he slowly pulled himself tiredly to feel his body still jitter from his battle. Pain and exhaustion washed over his body to stagger on his balance to throw a coughing fit as felt something slide up in his throat, but quickly swallowed it take a shaky breath. He done it, he finished Electro, again, but more pain and guilt clawed his stomach as he killed another person. Being the same one even. Spiderman doesn't kill people but it had to happen. But now wasn't a time to grieve, he had one more foe to finish.

Himself, metaphorically.

The blue ninja waited for a couple of minutes to catch his breath and let all the tingling feeling exit his body and swung himself back to the web that had Gwen and Nya to land softly to cause it to bounce. He maintained his balance like theirs to gaze into their eyes. He could see they looked worried and had the same question on his battle with the man. He sighed to let his head hang in shame. "I'm sorry," he said sadly. "It had to be done." He held his hand out toward the constructed power station and fired a thread. "But let's get you down and the others out of here. Only one is left and I got to end this once and for all."

Nya remained silent as he couldn't form any words in her throat to talk to the lightning ninja about what he had done. Or for anything on him as the hidden Spiderman. But she relunctly nodded to remove her red sash to wrap one end around her hand to throw it over the thread to zip-line from the web to land in the constructed building and turned to watch Gwen follow after her, using her sweatshirt to grapple safely. And finally Jay swung after them. After staring into his white triangular eyes where his hazel eyes would be underneath, she finally felt the words escape from her mouth to quiver. "J-Jay," she paused carefully to think more. "I-"

Ssccrreeeccchhhh!

Jay turned on his heels to glance up through the levels of unfinished floors surrounded by black threads to gasp as both Cole and Zane were thrown off the level. In response and taking action, the auburn fired his wrists to catch them on their backs and the beams to have them dangled. But next came Kai, Laurie, and Sensei Wu to gasp as they were falling from adjacent area where the black and white ninja fell to create a giant web from his wrists to catch them. And finally before he could stop to breathe, he watched Lucas and Lloyd were the last to be thrown off to quickly jump onto a beam to leap over to them and catch the grey and green ninja and rolled on the ground to then finally catch his breath. Venom was becoming more than a menace to him for harming his friends, Gwen, and Nya. "Nya," he said while lifting his head at her. "What ever it is you have to tell me, tell me later. I got to end this now. You and Gwen get the others down and get yourselves out of here." and started swinging up to where Venom was.

The two girls watched the blue ninja climbing his way up and weave his body through the beams and webs to feel the same panic rush through them. If he defeated Electro, who's to say he'll defeat Venom if they were equal. But they, even the Ninja, had confidence in him that he'll defeat the evil Jay. The snow-white haired girl heard something beeping to turn to Nya as she noticed her bracelet was blinking to see her determination mask her face. "Nya, when it gets here," she said. "Get ready to help him. He's going to need it." The samurai gazed at her bracelt to see where the back up was to nod with her.

Help was coming.

Help is on the way then? But what could it be then? But Electro is gone now and the only thing left challenging Jay is none other than Ja-I mean Venom. How will this become for the two of them?
