A/N: Chapter Nineteen! Thank you for those who are continuing to read this story and for those who are barely giving this story a shot.
I want to do a quick shout out to one of my readers who also made my day, I dedicate this chapter to you Shakilove
There is no way for me to describe what I am feeling. Only that if Bella were to cross me, she would no longer see the light. I growled as I read Jacob's mind. How could Bella use Jacob like that, not to mention she wants to turn into a damn leech!
…
"... and if she even dares to step foot in this house or even in this land, I SWEAR that I will beat her with her arms after I TEAR them from her body! Who does she think she is?! She isn't Aphrodite! What kind of sick satisfaction does she get with stringing along Jake like that and then deciding to become a vampire! I am done!" I huffed as I sat down. I could feel Sam slowly approach me, "Ana. Breath. They can't turn her anyways, if they do, they break the treaty and we kill them." I sighed, slowly calming down. "And if they leave to turn her, they're not allowed back and my dad will think my sister left him for good. Just like her mother did." I kicked the coffee table. At this point I was just glad the kids got out for vacation and are staying with their grandparents.
I closed my eyes wishing this day would end. And it was only 10:27 in the morning. I glanced at Sam as I curled my legs underneath me and crawled closer to him, retaining his body heat. "So how are Seth and Leah handling the change?" I had heard about while I had stayed with my dad when I arrived. During the funeral of Harry Clearwater, dad's friend. I hadn't spoken to Leah since I left Washington, and hearing that she was now part of the pack was also a stressor since I didn't leave in the best of terms with her.
"Leah is Leah. She's making it hard to get along with and the rest of the pack is already tired of her. Seth however, took the new better." Why is Leah being hard on everyone?" I asked, lifting an eyebrow, actually curious. He coughs and he flinches slightly. I sit up straight and looked at him. "I kind of broke up with her after I imprinted on you." He looked down at his shoes. "And she may have seen us together at the bonfire on one of our dates." I looked at him in shock, which soon turned into anger. "SAM! That's horrible! Do you realize how much you hurt her. I didn't even know you guys were dating!"
"We started dating a few months after you left Forks. And I know I hurt her and you for not telling y-" I cut him off. "I don't care about me right now! You need to apologize to her right now! Even if its in wolf form, I don't care, but you have to make it up to her. She and I may not be friends anymore, but any girl can agree that that was a pretty shitty thing you did to her. Now I don't want you in this house until you apologize for hurting her!" He looked up at me in shock, and I can only shake my head at him in disappointment as I pointed towards the door, mouthing the word 'GO!'.
…
It was the next two days that passed, when I received a phone call from my dad. It was about Bella's graduation. In a few days. I wanted to cry, but I held it in, choosing to tell him the simple, "I'll see if I can make it." Today was the bonfire and I was baking coconut pie and prepping the meat patties for the hamburgers. Please lordy don't let Jacob bring Bella here. "Hey." I jumped turning to see Leah by the kitchen door. I smiled slightly. "Hey. How have you been?" I say washing my hands and drying them with my apron.
"Good. I, uh, heard what you did for me. Making Sam apologize. Thanks." She looks at the floor. Sighing I sit down and for her to do the same. "Look, I know we aren't friends anymore, hell I didn't know he did what he did, but what you've done for me in the past had to be repaid. Sam is an idiot, hell, men, boys, they are all idiots. That's why there are women to push them to do the smart thing." She laugh at that, "Look Ana, I'm not mad at you and Sam anymore, I'm more frustrated that I don't know if I'll ever find my soulmate, if I can even imprint." I laugh softly.
"You know we used to never act this way before, sure we went to get our nails done and go shopping, but we've never use to talk about our love lives because we were always sure that our soul mates would come to us. The thing is, for a female wolf, we can't imprint, but we can tell when someone is our soul mates. I say soul mates, because in total, there are three. We don't know who they are or if they are even humans. My mother, she met her soul mate with my dad, but before that, it turned out, one of them was a vampire."
Her eyes widened in surprise, I smiled, "Yup, and the only way you can actually tell if a vampire is your mate is if there smell doesn't disturb you and vice versa." "God I hope, I don't have a vampire as a mate." I laughed smiling, strangely feeling nostalgia roll in.
Minutes later we were both working in the kitchen prepping the food, and that was how the boys found us. Laughing and talking and telling embarrassing stories of the pack, especially Sam.
"What's going on here?" Sam asked. Leah and I looked at each other before bursting out in laughter. "How come you never told me you fell you the windows into pines trying to sneak out of Leah's room?" I said in amidst of laughter.
The pack was silent for a few second before they too started to laugh, Seth even began rolling in the floor, while Embry and Quil were holding on to each other to prevent themselves from hitting the floor and joining Seth. Yup today is good. Too bad, it wasn't going to last.
...
We all sat around the bonfire, waiting for Jacob to arrive. He's been gone since the sun came out. I have also been receiving calls and texts from the Cullens, for which I have ignored. I glanced over to see Seth guarding some food for Jacob, Jared sharing a kiss with Kim, Embry scarfing down his third hamburger, Leah laying near the bonfire, Paul hugging Rachel and finally Quil cuddling Claire.
A content sighed escaped my mouth followed by a gasp as Sam picked me up, throwing me in the air. I laughed, cause I didn't know what else to do. "What are you doing?" Sam brings me back down on my feet as he starts kissing my face all over. "Nothing, just showing how much I love you." I chuckled as I whispered in his ear, "You are such a big sap!" I grinned, before I heard the familiar voice of-
"-Bella!" I hissed, my smile vanishing and my happiness gone. Suddenly I wasn't calm anymore. Sam sensing this sent a look to Jake as he placed his warm hands on my shoulders, massaging them to keep me calm. "Relax, and soon as its over Jacob will take her back home and you won't have to worry about a thing." I grab his hand bringing it to my lips as I nodded.
...
I never knew how much you could hate a family member. I just want to choke her.
...
I usually enjoy when Billy tells the legends, but right now Bella is ruining MY time. I glared at Bella, somehow already knowing this night is about to get worse.
...
Finally it was over and I could see Jacob leading Bella away from the pack and the elders. Bella turned to look my way only to flinch at my glare. I will forgive Bella until she would finally stop acting like the child she thinks she is. She is one human girl, who happens to have two supernatural creatures following her around like lost puppies. That still doesn't make her princess, just conceited.
Ok Ana! Calm down! She is still your sister… even though she is acting like a whiny ass bitch who needs a good beating! Wait, no! Focus, she is still your sister. Forgive her at her graduation! Ok!
