A/N: Chapter Twenty-One! Thank you for those who are continuing to read this story and for those who are barely giving this story a shot.
The next day I found out that Jacob had kissed Bella, and Bella punched him and uninvited him to the graduation party at the Cullens' house. At least she did the right thing. I shook my head at the guys as they vacuumed up their breakfast before heading to get ready to see Bella's graduation ceremony.
…
Walking in the campus, I greeted some old teachers and waved at those who knew me. Looking around, I spotted Dad in the back and the Cullens'. I sighed a little as I straightened my posture and walked towards them, with a small smile. Ok, grimace, still close to a smile though.
"Hey daddy!" I say hugging him, I turned to Carlisle and Esme, " Doctor and Mrs. Cullen, its nice to see you again." I say shaking hands with them, I turned to my day once more. "Shall we go take our seats? I want to get a good shot of Bella, see if she trips or anything." I smile as I pulled out my video camera. Dad shakes his head at me as Carlisle and Esme laugh softly, smiling at me. I quickly shot a smile at them. It wasn't their fault that Bella was as an idiot by birth.
…
Sitting down I crossed my legs, waiting for it to begin. Who knew it was boring waiting for the graduates to come out. I was half tempted to start the wave out of boredom, I glanced at my watch, tapping my foot impatiently.
...
Ten minutes just passed and I was down to 92% of battery on my phone. How long does it take to start the damn ceremony!
...
I growled. This is ridiculous! I don't remember my graduation taking this long to start. Sure, it might had been due to the excitement as to why I can't remember, and it might have been because I was the one graduating… but still! COME ON! Just start the damn thing already!
...
Finally! It has started! I see the graduates and teachers and the principal walk out as they headed to their places. I'm actually glad I decided to come. I couldn't have been prouder of my sister, even if this might not be her last high school graduation. I was happy for her. Her and Edward.
I smiled as Jessica took the stand, smiling brightly.
"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like astronaut, president, or in my case… princess.
When we were ten, they asked again and we answered - rock star, cowboy, or in my case, gold medalist. But now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer. Well, how 'bout this: who the hell knows?!
This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, its time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere chill. Fall in love - a lot. Major in philosophy 'cause there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind. Then change it again, because nothing is permanent.
So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask again what we want to be… we won't have to guess. We'll know."
Smiling, I looked down at my feet, not bother to wipe the tear that slid down my face.
...
At the end of the ceremony I waited beside Charlie for Bella to come out. Soon enough, I spotted Bella walking towards us, only to stop once she saw me. I pushed myself away from the car and headed towards her. Once reaching her, I wrapped my arms around her.
"I know, sister's are suppose to have their ups and downs, and they have to fight every once in a while, but" I started. "But, lately we've been doing both more than usual?" Bella offers slightly as we pulled away. I nodded. "Look, I know that you think my decision is stupid and that I should live, but I'm in love with Edward. I want to spend my life with him. I don't want to do it though, without at least having one family member by my side." Bella looks at me, her eyes watering slightly.
"Well. You don't have to worry about that. I could not bare the thought of us not speaking to each other. And you know what? You are my sister and we have always been close when we were younger even if we hardly ever saw each other. And if we get to see each other every year after you turn until I am dead, and even then you have to visit wherever the hell my body or ashes will be! You love Edward like I love Sam. We both have our halloween monsters to love. It really wasn't fair for me to do that. So, I am over it, I will be by your side, step by step. Because I love you, and quite frankly, I think we both need our happily ever after." I laughed at the end of my little speech as we hugged again.
Yup! This is exactly how it should be. No more fights with each other.
...
"Are you sure you don't want to come over? Alice planned the whole thing. She said it will be one of the greatest graduation parties." Bella says over the speaker as I drive home. "No. I'm kind of tired. I didn't get much sleep, and I think I need a much needed rest!" I sigh as I pull over in front of the house. "Ok. I'll talk to you tomorrow?" She asks. "Yes. Maybe we can go out for coffee and have breakfast?" "Yes! Maybe we can try this new place that just opened. Its near La Push, I think its called, 'Dulce's Homemade' or something along those lines." "Yea, I drove past that place, I heard it was good too. So lets meet up at 9-9:30ish?" "Yeah I'll see you then." "Bye" We both say as we hung up.
Now time to cuddle up with my man!
