Chapter 39: One Key

Tonight was the night of my execution. Im not freaking out though. Actually Im fairly calm. I guess thats Takara keeping me in check. I had one hour and fifteen minutes of life left. Not that that matters.

Im breaking out.

"Wendy? What are you doing here?"

The black haired demon girl jumped down from the ceiling and smirked. "Checking out the council. Why, am I not allowed to your execution?" Flinching she grew her claws and unlocked my cell. Shinra had left after our makeout session that night and he hasnt been back. Part of me was dissappointed about that.

He was a really good kisser...

"Cmon. Lets go find some Magic Council secrets!" She cheered and we heard a chuckle. "Honestly your to excited about this mission, Wendy."

Eve was on the other side, leaning against the wall. Smiling at him, we head down the hallway. So many memories of my days in the tower sprung up and I start having flashbacks of me running through these halls.

"We got exactly fifteen minutes before your next guard checks in. The catacombs of this place takes about the same amount of time to arrive there." Eve explained and I rip off my rosary, turning into Takara. "Then lets run shall we?" I asked and the two smile deviously.

When we took off, there were nothing but colors. We were seriously flying past people without them noticing.

"This is awesome." I remarked an Eve looked back with a smile. "In human terms the time you get there would be fifteen minutes. In a demon—" We stopped in front of an ornarey brown wooden door. "Two." Wendy stepped up to the door and kicked it open. I vaguely wondered if she was this conniving and sneaky in human form. I mean Im nothing like Takara. She enjoys seeing pain. I enjoy it only when it is deserved.

See, totally diffrent!

"Ohhh, mysterious!" Wendy said giddly, running into the room gracefully. She ran her fingers along the wall. And it was in fact mysterious.

This room was stripped bare, nothing in it at all but a little black box with a lock on it. Wendy went to touch it but Eve slapped her hand away from it. She pouted and stuck her tounge out. "Meanie!" She yelled and the boy rolled his eyes. Feeling Takara wanting to barf, I stepped up and ran a finger over the box. Sniffing it, it doesnt smell harmful like a grenede or some extreme shit like that. "This is the reason Moka sent you two here isnt it? To retrieve this?" Eve nodded and ran a hand through his black hair. "Part of it at least. Once we removed this box of the poteum, an alarm will let them know someone's here. They'll come down here to see whats up."

"That's when Fairy Tail will step in. All of the high level Rune Knights are strictly ordered to come here because they have high magic energy levels. That leaves the city of Crocus unprotected from the Fairies." Eve chuckled darkly and Wendy smiled wickedly, the gleam in her eyes deadly.

"Its like killing two birds with one stone. We get what belongs to us back and you get broken out, showing that we dont play when you mess with the clan. Erza and Moka can really form a plan when times seem tough." Smiling a bit I nodded and headed towards the door.

"Alright, as soon as my foot leaves this doorway, start the plan."

And when my foot touched the hallway outside the door, an alarm of great porportions sounded throughout the building. My demon hearing + my dragon one = deaf.

- 7:22 P.M. Border of Crocus-

"There it goes."

Lucy nodded as she tightened her grip on her sickles and chain. Her blonde hair was in a high pony tail and she actually wore pants. They were simple black pants that tightened at the ankle making a small puff around her shin with a black cropped top that stopped just below the bust and a purple cloth that covered the front and back side of her pants. Her highlights had returned and she wore simple black flats. Laxus grunted and made sure his guns were ready.

"Would you two like to see the layout of the map once more?" That was Erza. To say the red head woman was shocked to see Laxus and Lucy partner up for this mission was an understatement. She didnt pester the blonde girl though, deciding they would have a girls night after this was over.

"No thanks, besides thats our cue. See ya!" Nodding at Laxus, they took off and Erza sighed. "Good luck you two." Turning to Gajeel, Juvia and Gray, Erza looked at her clock.

"Alright, on my mark!"

-7:27 P.M. Pristine-

Kuma feighned sleep as Shinra shook her awake.

"I know your not asleep, Kuma. Get up!" The girl opened one eye and frowned at his accusing look. "Where the hell did you go?!" He demanded and she sat up groggily, still the perfect actress. "Well in my dream I went to the Tower of Heaven and turned back time. You messed it up." He growled and wrapped a hand on her forearm. "You know that's not where I meant. You left your cell. To where?!" Shinra leaned down to get in her face and Kuma could hear his heart beating rapidly. Was he worried? Extremley. He thought the council had summoned her early and he couldnt find time to convince them not to kill her.

Kuma didnt say anything, she just pressed her lips tight. This was a roadblock in the plan. She was suppose to knockout whatever guard she had. She hadnt expected him to come back after there kiss and she didnt know if she could defeat Shinra in time. Or if she even could.

"Shinra... Leave. So you wont get in trouble with Nigra. Your grandfather." Shinra's heart stopped. There were hidden meanings behind these words. They know each other to well to not know if there trying to do something.

"Whatever your doing, Im doing it with you."

-7:30 an alleyway of Crocus-

Natsu and Mystogan stayed in the shadows to keep from the eyes of the Rune Knights. Mystogan being the better part of the stealth department than Natsu. Although strangely Natsu was pretty good at it.

Really good.

His eyes were dark and shaded and he lowered his body heat. Mystogan vaugley wondered has Natsu ever done stealth missions himself.

"Oi, Mystogan. It's about that time, right?" The mysterious man nodded and glancing at the darkening streets once more the two took off towards the infamous prison of Fiore, Pristine, right behind the castle.

"Hey Mystogan?"

"Hmm?"

"If Kuma's my niece and your her dad, does that make us brothers?" Mystogan chuckled and simply nodded. "I suppose it does."

-7:32 P.M. Castle of Fiore-

Moka and Erza both dangled from a pipe of one of the castle's hallways, their long hair cascading down like they were on a gymnasium.

They looked at each and with a slight nod they both fell to the ground with a quiet 'thud'.

"Eve and Wendy have started the alarm and Natsu and Mystogan have headed towards the back exit to meet up with Gray. And to take out the video lacrimi. Lucy and Laxus has headed towards the fray to fight off the guards while Gajeel and Juvia go and retrieve Kuma at a secret backway she remembered. Gray is dressed as a knight to retrieve as much information as he can." Erza nodded and felt a little weight on her head.

"Kuma will be ok, right Erza?" The red head smiled and held Neeya in her arms while Happy flies down to Moka. "Theyll be fine. You two rememer what to do right?" Happy nodded with a quick "Aye Sir!" Moka and Erza let them go and the cats start flying down the hallway.

They were distractions for what the two women were about to do.

With a nod the two start running as fast as a human could down the hallway towards a room with pure black doors. Silently opening it, Erza stopped and threw a small ball on the floor.

Nothing happened.

"All clear then." Moka stepped up to the doorway but was stopped by an electric field. "Shit!" She exclaimed, holding her burnt hand. Erza looked over and checked her up quickly but they didnt have time for boo-boos. Erza walked into the room just fine and looked back at Moka. "What now?" She questioned.

Another road block.

-7:45 P.M. Hallways of Pristine-

Loud shouts were heard and prisoners of all types looked out of there cells to see what the hell was happening.

"Shinraaaaaa!"

The young man and the girl ran down the hallway passed the cells and they instantly knew she was escaping. They yelled for her to stop and get them out but the two teens ignored him.

"You cant do this! The Council would sentence you too!"

"Oh well, I dont like the council anyways. If anything I love Fairy Tail so maybe you can put in a good word for me when we get out of here!"

Kuma just smiled and kept

letting him drag her along.
