Chapter 40: bReAkOuT!

-7:46 P.M. Pristine-

Gajeel and Juvia stood at the doorway of the supposedly secret exit. They knew the guard who took Kuma from school and they knew he wouldnt let her die.

"Where are they?" Juvia murmered and Gajeel shrugged. Even though they were both quiet and looked calm, they were as Kuma says "Freakin the fuck out."

Where the hell was Shinra?!

As if Gajeel asked that out loud, Kuma and Shinra skidded from some side hallway and halted. "Uncle Gajeel? Aunt Juvia?! What are you—?!" Gajeel and Juvia grabbed the kids wrists and started running as fast as possible. "No time for that! Explain when we get the hell outta here!"

-7:46 P.M. Pristine-

Natsu and Mystogan were surrounded by guards on the east end of the prison.

"Alright then, now we're talking! Cmon Im gettin all fired up!" He yelled and knocked at least five guards away with one swing of his fist. Another fifteen with his Fire Dragon Roar. While Natsu was hacking away with Rune Knights (this division couldnt make runes though) Mystogan went inside the prison and ran towards the video room.

Usually he would just hack all of the systems and erase everything.

Yeah, he didnt have time for that.

Grabbing one of his staves, he wanted to use a spell to at least make sure the cameras caught nothing but he didnt have time for that either. He took the mind of an idiot, like his companion, and started destroying everthing by swinging and stabbing the end of his staves. He had to admit, the rush of adreniline put him on cloud nine. No wonder Natsu destroyed everything on his missions. It was a helluva good time.

-7:46 P.M. Castle of Fiore-

"Do you see it?!"

"Yeah I do."

Moka was calling out orders while Erza looked around the room. The thing she was looking for was simple.

A key.

And she did find it. It was a glass key with gold accents. Grabbing it, Erza ran back out the room and Moka smiled deviously.

"They are going to rue the day they messed with the demon's royalty." As an answer Erza heard Happy and Neeya calling her saying "Its done!"

"They are going to rue the day they messed with MY baby."

-7:49 P.M. Border of Crocus-

"How are you doing Levy? Are you alright?"

The bluette nodded, her little body huffing with effort.

"Yeah...I just...havent...had to use...this much...in a while!" Fried nodded in understanding an offered to finsih her half of the town but she just shook her head. "That's my training for today!" She chirpped with a smile and Fried softly smiled back. "But there is such a thing as over training, Little Bird." Levy giggled at the little petname she had since she was younger as they continued to make runes over the city.

No one of the Royal Guard of Fiore or Royalty of the human court shall not pass.

-7:50 P.M. Castle of Fiore-

Natsu regrouped with Mystogan and headed towards the throne room.

"Shit we're behind schedule!" Mystogan cursed and Natsu nodded in agreement.

"Trust and believe Gray didnt get caught. He remembers alot of protocal of being a Rune Knight. Im sure he has plenty of info. If they ever mess with Fairy Tail again we can bring em down! No one touches our family!"

-7:50 P.M. Throne Room-

"The demons are a nuiscance. We'll kill all of them. Your probably my strongest guard for the job, Jirou."

Little did the King know, under the mask wasnt his guard Jirou. Kneeling on the ground on his knee was Gray Fullbuster, ex-Rune Knight of Fiore. He hadnt been one for long. He had tried to balance Fairy Tail with his job and he couldnt so he chose Fairy Tail. Plain and simple. Luckily he knew Jirou when he was younger and Jirou loved Gray like a younger brother so he helped Gray infilitrate the castle. Jirou was the one who gave Moka the updated map and the uniform that made the king recognize his best knight.

"Yes, my king."

"Jirou" was dissmissed and Gray had to force himself to not run out the room. They were way behind schedule.

Once he was out he ran down the hallway, ripping of the mask and running straight into Mystogan. They both tumbled but luckily his mask didnt come off.

-7:51 P.M. Around the castle-

They were surrounded.

"Watch out!"

Lucy swung her leg out to kick a guard away from Laxus who was being ganged up on by at least eight of them. He wanted to use his power but that would reveal his secret to Lucy.

'Aw, fuck it.'He decided and took a deep breath.

"LIGHTNING DRAGON ROAR!" That blew away a whole squad but they kept coming. Lucy looked baffled. "DRAGON?!" She exclaimed and Laxus just grunted. "You breathe a word about this to those pathetic Dragon Slayers and thats the last breath you'll take." Lucy was use to his death threats but she promised she wouldnt say anything. Knowing Celestial Wizards kept there promises, Laxus charged with his pistols, Lucy in tow with her sickles. In her mind she heard Juvia say there safely out of the city and she sighed in relief before cutting a guy in the face.

"There out!" She called. Laxus nodded and let out another roar which finished his half. Lucy called out her stigma even though it wasnt safe and quickly disposed of the rest.

-7:55 P.M. Border of Crocus-

All of Fairy Tail retreated and regrouped back into a small city called Kiandra not to far away.

Lucy and Laxus were missing.

"You guys are insane!" Kuma yelled with a bright smile and she accepted Erza's bone crushing hug.

"ALRIGHT! WE SHOWED THOSE MAGIC COUNCIL BASTARDS WHAT FAIRY TAIL'S MADE OF!" Natsu screamed and the mages cheered. There op mission was a total success. Kuma felt bad though because now it was confession time.

"Mom... Can I talk to you for a minute?" She let go with a puzzled expression but nodded anyways. "We'll be back in a moment." Erza said to everyone and they nodded going back to recalling there parts of there assignments.

-8:00 P.M. Forest near town.-

Kuma was crying her eyes out an Erza looked fairly guilty.

"Kuma..."

"But why?! Why would you sacrifice yourself?! We couldnt live without you!"

Erza held Kuma as she shook with sobs. Kuma had just confessed that she knew about Erza sacraficing herself at the Tower of Heaven. Well at least the attempt.

"Mom I couldnt live without you!" Erza sighed shakingly and held her daughter. "I apologize for bringing tears to your pretty eyes. But I dont apologize for doing what any devoted mother would have done. I love you to much. A world where your not alive would kill me. And Im sorry but if you ever even think about doing something like that to save me, God forbid, just let me go. Ive had a wonderful life. Let me see you grow into a fabulous woman! Your already a beautiful young lady." Kuma dried her tears and sniffled.

"You call living to twenty one a life, Mom?"

With that Kuma started walking towards the beach leaving a shocked Erza Scarlet behind.

And they never talked about it again.

-8:00 p.m. Magic Council-

"Well arent you screwed? It's execution time but you have no prisoner."

Lucy and Laxus sauntered into the room, Lucy clinging to his arm which made him rolled his eyes. He thought HE liked drama, this girl was a world class actress.

All of the council members stopped their frantic discussions to watch the two demons. Orga Doma stepped up to meet them halfway a good amount of space between the three.

"What are you doing on our premisis? We had a contract—!"

"The contract that the Magic Council and Queen Moka formed twenty years ago clearly states that if any two parties, human royalty or demon royalty, took something that is rightfully the other's belonging than that contract will be terminated. Not only did the Council take the case of Laaevatan away, you also threatened to execute royalty. You brought this on yourself." Lucy explained and Laxus chuckled as she strutted over and flicked Orga Doma in the forehead lightly.

He landed on the other side of the room.

Laughing loudly, Laxus whipped out his gun and pointed it at every member of the council. He smirked and without looking he asked "Hey Blondie? Who do you think should be tagged? The leader?" Lucy laughed loudly and shrugged. "I dont know Sparky-boy. Why not have a little fun?" Laxus was full on smiling and Lucy's heart raced with excitement. Well mostly excitement. The rest...Laxus's smile was adorable!

Laxus turned his head to Lucy and without turning back pulled the trigger.

Nigra fell to the ground.
