Everyone, happy Friday and it is time for the final update of the Amazing SpiderJay, it's sad that it's ending, but stories always come to an end. I'm ready for it. Also to the guest, newb50, wondering if my stories take place to the Possessed, no. All of my stories take place way, way before the Dark Island episodes. It's always between the episodes Ninjaball Run and Child's Play; meaning they have the Bounty and Lloyd is a kid. Giving you that reminder. Epilogue: Go Get Them, Tiger!
Pages softly rustled after each turn the raven haired girl made in the small bedroom she shares with the Ninja of Winds. Peace and serenity flooded her mind to the quietness, but didn't bother her to the loud commotions that was happening on the upper decks above her. It sounded like...Lucas and Kai were training with Lloyd and Laurie of their elemental powers with the sound of the Spinjitzu course rotating with Cole and Zane switching places. But what about Jay? She wished she could join them in training, but the doctor's orders have told her to remain in bed for a few days and so far it's been two. Even though the water ninja had had healed her with his elemental powers, the doctor still suggested her to stay in bed in case she felt sore from the blades. Truth be told, she still felt sore to move from her bed.
As the samurai read her book in silence of the bedroom, her head had perked to the sound of the door opening with a squeak to look up from her book to see nothing enter. She waited for a few seconds if anyone would enter, but soon a flash of red and blue leaped into the room and landed in a crouch over the girl. She playfully smiled and pecked the one who was under the mask of Spiderman on the lips to feel the soft, warm lips under the thin material. Oh Jay... But soon the playful smile disappeared to look at him concerned. "Still nothing about them?" she wondered.
A sigh escaped from the blue ninja and removed the mask to reveal his small frown and fix his toppled hair from the mask. The girl was right about being concerned for him. This has been troubling him for sometime lately. "I just don't get it, Nya." he sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. "One day you have awesome spider powers, the next day they're gone. Not even Zane or Gwen can find traces of the spider DNA in my blood." He pulled back the slits on his wrists of his suit to frown more as the once white blisters that produced the webs he could swing from were now gone to reveal his normal skin and artery veins. He sighed again to look down at the floor in misery.
There's a reason on why has been feeling upset was that...he no longer has his spider abilities. He noticed the signs when swinging through the city and suddenly no longer been able to fire more webs and crash land in an alley. He grew worried like when he couldn't do it before when his friends chased after him on the rooftops, but shrugged it like was a...hiccup or something. But he was wrong when he realized he couldn't scale up the walls and his spider senses couldn't alert him from behind when Cole punched the punching bag off the hook and impacted him without sensing it. Even his strength to be able to lift cars was diminished to be back to his normal-self. And he had kept thinking, Was this the end of Spiderman? He hated to admit it, but it might be.
Nya watched the auburn teen worriedly to carefully shift herself closer to him to lean against his back with her chin resting on his shoulder. She wanted to be there for him, but then again doesn't know what it's like to have spider powers. "Any ideas then on how you're losing them?" she inquired. "Surely there has to be a reason."
"I don't know, Nya." Jay mumbled to himself. There has to be a reason or hypothesis even. Or maybe not at all. "Maybe because I have a strong immune system that fought back on the spider bite to cure me from anything dangerous to my body. But doubt that's the case. I feel...limited and normal again after Garmadon stole my golden nunchucks. I had abs even, Nya! Abs! But now have my old taut, flat stomach again. I'm...back to the normal, scrawny lightning ninja and feel...useless."
A frown now formed on the girl's face to feel pity for the blue ninja. All of his spider powers now gone in the blink of an eye. It all surprised her and the team. Who knows how this can happen. To him even. "I guess we'll never know." she sighed to rub his shoulder in comfort. "It'll be a mystery then. But hey, there's one thing that won't change about you." Jay perked his head to glance over his shoulder to face her. "You. Jay, I don't care if you're Spiderman on losing his powers. You're still you and that's all that matters. To everyone. And even me."
A small smile grew on the auburn's face to realize she was right. It didn't matter if he wasn't going to be Spiderman anymore. He was still Jay. Funny, inventor, and most importantly, a ninja. The Ninja of Lightning. He figured it was time to retire from being a solo hero and return to be a teammate. "Thanks Nya," he said. "That means a lot now." and pecked her on the cheek to smile softly.
A spread of warmth ran through the samurai's body on the kiss to smile back at him for it. But something flashed in her mind to carefully pull back from his back to sit upright to look a little upset at him. Jay saw her face to frown a bit. What did he do now? "You still haven't told me about you and Gwen." she murmured. "Why?"
Sighing, the blue ninja looked away for a bit to collect his thoughts on the subject. It made him feel like a traitor to Nya's heart for falling for another girl. But thanks to his aunt's solution, and maybe Jay 2's jealousy, made him find where his heart truly lied on. Nya. Feeling his confidence growing back, he turned back to the samurai to softly grab her hands to smile at her to comfort her. "I understand that I may have betrayed you, but I can explain." he said. "I was blinded and even dumb to know I had a heart for two girls. But that thing with Gwen was one time only just to know each other. She even gave me a tip to stop Electro from using his powers on me. Plus I heard she has a thing for this guy named Peter." His smile remained on his face and gently kissed her on the lips. "Nya, you're the only girl my heart loves and nothing will never change or make do that again. I love you and that's all that matters."
A smile now formed on the samurai's face to his confession of love to pull him into an tight embrace and felt his arms around her. She felt happy to know nothing will never change them; superhero, ninja, either way. "I love you too, Jay." she said. "Thank you for being honest with me."
Pride swelled in the lightning ninja's chest to know she was able to trust him. It put another weight off his chest. All was rekindled now. "So..." he paused to ponder in silence. "What should we do toget-"
An loud alarm had cut off the blue ninja to groan a bit. Danger was happening in Ninjago and couldn't be Spiderman. But maybe now, this was the end of Spiderman's legacy. "Jay, where are you!?" Cole's voice shouted throughout the ship. "Someone in a robotic rhino suit is destroying the city! We need to go now!"
Panic rushed into Jay's mind on the danger. He knew what robotic suit it was when his uncle told him about it before. It was a decommissioned weapon from Oscorp, but someone must've found it. But he knew a way to stop it as uncle told him about it. But before he could leave, he turned to Nya to frown as he didn't want to leave her in boredom, ever after they confessed their love to each other. But all the samurai did was smile softly to him as if he was waiting for permission. "Go get them, Tiger." she said and pecked his cheek.
Renewed energy filled his body to the kiss and even...blessing. He smiled to her and took off to leave the room, but stopped suddenly at the door. He gazed down at the suit of Spiderman to feel odd and limited, but this had to be the end of Spiderman. Time to stop being a superhero and be a teammate. Proudly, Jay spun into his electric blue Spinjitzu tornado to change from his hero suit to be back in his old blue gi and pants with silver metal plates over his chest and right arm and rugged shoulder armor. "Oh man it feels great to be back!" he said to himself with pride and turned to Nya with a large grin on his face and left. While Nya gingerly got out of he bed to carefully rush over to her window to watch everyone gathering in the streets out of Bounty for the vehicles.
*I've always been told that with great power comes with great responsibilities. My Uncle Ben always told me that since I was eight. It's a saying I go with everyday in my life for being an elemental ninja. Until my powers were taken to be normal. But with my new powers, it was both my gift and my curse. It lead me to broken hearts. But with them gone, I can return to a normal life as myself. Jay Walker, Ninja of Lightning. Who was I?
I was the Amazing Spiderman.
Energy swam through Jay's body as he raced down the halls of the Bounty to be soon out in the streets with his friends who he called as a second family to him, waiting for him. He gave them a playful smirk as they gave him one back to notify them he was ready to be back as a ninja and not a vigilante. Oh how great it was to be back. To show how excited he was to be back on the team, he jumped into the driver's seat of the Ultra Sonic Raider to ignite the engine and revv the engine to show his enthusiasm. The Ninja got the idea to know he was ready to be the blue ninja again and the red, black, and white ninja climbed abroad into their seats below while the grey, orange, and green ninja climbed into their shared Spinjitzu vehicle. Once prepared, Jay knew they were ready and pushed both joysticks forward to feel the sudden torque of speed to race down the streets of Ninjago City with the Rain behind.
Help was coming to the rescue. And this time without Spiderman stealing any thunder.
Sirens blared through the streets of Downtown Ninjago City with the panic screams of citizens as they ran behind police barricades for safety as a enormous metallic rhinoceros rampaged through the streets. Small projectile rockets launched from the sides of its body with machine guns firing from the arms as it was walked bipedal. The red eyes glared at the barricade of cop cars with the cops firing at it but the bullets had no effect on its armored body to fire a small missile to startle them. The giant stopped in the middle of a bridge and suit started splitting apart from the face and horn to reveal the man's face underneath as its operator. "Come out, Spiderman!" he called out. "Behold, I am Aleksei Sytsevich, the Rhino! You made a mockery out of me before when you stopped me from my crime waves. I got the fire power to stop you this time!"
"That's peachy and all but he's not here anymore!" a loud voice broke through from a megaphone.
Rhino turned to the voice that came from the barricade to watch as the Ninja gathered in the center with the blue ninja on top of a police cruiser. The blue ninja glared at the man in the metal suit as he remembered this one when being Spiderman and stopped him from committing crime waves throughout the city to terrorize it. But he stopped him and sent him to prison but he somehow escaped. He grasped the megaphone tightly in his hand to squeeze the trigger to hear it crackle. "You in the metal rhino suit," he shouted at him. "On the behalf of everyone in Ninjago City and Rhinos everywhere, put your hands and hooves in the air!"
"Never!" Rhino shouted. "I will not surrender. I will kill the bug and I'll burn this city to the ground! You will not stop me!"
"That's all talk from a guy in a giant suit." Cole remarked and gripped his scythe tightly. "But like our friend said, he's not here anymore. After that last fight with Electro, he decided to retire and let us return to our jobs to protecting the city and Ninjago itself. WE'RE the ones who will stop you! We bring hope to this city when others can't. Hope is there for us to stop you."
The man snorted to give off a throaty chuckle. "I like to see you try!" he snorted. "I'll kill you all one by one. Starting with the one in blue!" He held up his right arm to smirk and soon controlled the suit to merge all together and fell on its four legs and charged for Jay. In the process, he fired three missiles from his shoulders.
"If you want me to come down to kill me, alright, I'll be there." The blue ninja said and watched the missiles to panic as he couldn't fight back much without his spider powers. Taking action, he jumped while twisting his body acrobatically like Spiderman would over two of the missiles to be agape a little on this suddenly. "Jay, catch!" he heard Cole shout and watched the earth ninja remove a sewer cover from the road and tossed it to him.
He immediately caught it to land on the ground and rolled to hold the cover in front of him as a shield and felt the third combusting on impact to shake him and blown his mask off. He felt a small amount of something in him to suddenly hold his left hand out and positioned his fingers like he would use to fire the strands of webs and suddenly a single strand fired and attached itself to the cover. He was confused suddenly, but smirked that his body gave him one last stand to fight with.
Jay had to smirk on this to whip his arm out to show his team the strand attached to the cover to hear them gasp a little but he saw their smirks. Even the citizen were taken aback to the thread. To that, the Ninja of Lightning charged towards Rhino to jump while twisting his body while whipping the sewer cover around him to attach another thread for a strong grip and threw it against the man while screaming a battle cry.
One last time to be Spiderman after all, but he was still the blue ninja.
Originally, I had a different ending of Jay leaving to the danger, but I felt like I needed more action, so why not end it with action then. I give you Rhino and of course one last time as Spiderman, I just love how that ended way better than before! Even with the soundtrack from the movies! XD That's it for the Amazing SpiderJay, but hey I have not stopped making stories. I'll be back with my side story of Mysterious Waters: Deep Within the Forest for the time being until I'm ready for Zane's story to be posted.
