Chapter 41: Redemption

Nigra stood right back up.

"Wh-what the? How am I...?"

Laxus put the pistol away and walked over to his demon partner. He put an arm around her waist and she put a hand on her hip. The other arm around his neck. They both looked eeirly dangerous as they glared at the council.

"Dont you ever." Lucy started.

"Ever." Laxus continued.

"Lay a finger on Fairy Tail again." They ended and the look in their eyes showed that if the council did, this little break in would be childs play. They clearly reflected that pure unadulterated murder would be in the near future.

With that said, Laxus turned into a lightning bolt and the two went away faster than you could blink.

-2 weeks Later-

The cheers of the crowd were outrageous.

Walking on stage, Temptress waved and she smiled wide as members of Fairy Tail dotted the first row. There was at least 5,000 people out tonight.

"How everybody doin tonight?" the crowd went wild. Kuma felt her blood pumping. This..she loved this. Just that small sliver of normalcy. Where she was just a girl who loved to sing.

It's true, we're all a little insane.

But it's so clear,

Now that I'm unchained.

A girl who was just a simple human being, who was cheered on by family and friends. She wouldnt call them strangers, that wouldnt be right. Just friends she's never met yet. That's what she believed.

And as she sung, she let all of her emotions run wild. She sung with every fiber in her person, every little piece of her soul was showed through her notes. She sang her breath out.

One day

And while her voice echoed out, all of Fairy Tail watched her with astonishment. Even Loke came out for this. The members were all around. From the most likely to show up like all of Team Natsu to Shadow Gear to the unlikely like the Thunder Tribe and independents like Gajeel. They were all there, cheering her on with the loudest of voices. Backstage Mystogan cheered in his own way. Quietly with his heart brimming with love and proudness.

Kuma felt her lids close, feeling tears coming to her eyes. She was happy, a sweet smile forming on her thin pink-painted-black lips. After everything she's been through she wouldnt change a single thing. The universe says that everything happens for a reason and it was right.

She was happy with life.

Erza watched on, her heart swelling. That was her child. She got to say that. It brought tears to her eye to see her baby growing up. She had a long ways to go though.

Wiping the heel of her hand over her right eye, a hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her in for a hug.

"You did a good job raising her, Erza."

And the tears flew free as Erza smiled widley an held on to Gray as they swayed back and forth to her daughter's music.

As the song ended the symbol of FairyTail flew high into the air as a grand finale. The firework show.

Kuma's hand went up in the air and showed off the sign of Fairy Tail. Her short black skirt left little to the imagination as the royal purple guild mark stood proud on her thigh.

Kuma Scarlet was obviously proud to be a Fairy Tail modoshi.

-The Following Day!-

"*Yawn* Im so tired! Who wouldve thought a short concert to celebrate my release would wear me out like that!"

The deep chuckle beside me made me wanna blush. Im not that pitiful though so I laughed along side him.

"Well you were quite the sight to see, Temptress." Shinra smiled softly at me and I throw my arms in the air, smile stretching from ear to ear. "This shoot has me so excited! You know we have to use guns? That's so cool! And I get to jump off the building on episode one?! YAYYY!" Jumping up and down I can hardly contain my excitement. Again Shinra chuckled and faced foward, the new Fairy Tail guild mark showing proudly off the side of his neck in pure black.

A flash of light caught my eye.

Turning foward some girl held a camera and smiled. "This is tottally Sorcerer Weekly material! Yes! The new couple of the publicity scene! Shinra Sanchez and Kuma Scarlet!" Now I was blushing.

"What?! No, we're not— I mean he.. I—"

"What the young lady is trying to say is that we are only good friends and nothing more." Got damnit I stuttered like an idiot in front of him! His voice was all husky and silky smooth. There was a group in Blue Pegasus that acted just like that. What were they called? The Tri... Triplets? No that wasnt it. Tri-something.

Giggling as we continued our walk to the studio for filming and costume designs Shinra looks at me with a raised eyebrow. "Its nothing." I say quickly. Looking up at the bright and clear blue sky I smiled and watched as a momma bird was flying high with her baby in the sky.

"Nothing at all."

Life was simply at the short time where its the calm before the storm.
