Chapter 38: Gems of all Kinds

Back at the HQ, Slade and Shade were quite pleased while talking to the slimey guy.
Slade then replied, "You managed to defeat one of those girls and take her hostage. Well done job, Strings."
Strings grunted and replied, "Thank you, Lord Slade. I was happy to get a win those girls."
Shade hten replied, "We should go visit our prisoner before it gets really late."
"Why reveal ourselves to the enemy, son?"
Shade smiled as he took a small black capsule out of his pocket and he replied, "She takes this one pill and she'll become a Savage Beast and we'll have to get a new deck to replace that crappy Unicorn Beastdown deck."
Slade nodded and replied, "This'll will work, son. I'm really proud of you, son. You've done so much to help us out and you'll do some more good."
Shade then replied, "Thank you, dad."
Slade looked at Strings and replied, "We found some more slime cards to fit your deck's theme if you want them."
"If it helps my deck, I'll take them, sir."
"Good to here, Strings."

Later that night in the main room, the gang was all upset about losing her.
Christina then replied, "She is a good duelist, but Strings got the best of her."
Nancy sighed sadly and replied, "I Miss my big sis right now."
Carly then replied, "We'll stop at nothing to get her back, Nancy. We won't stop until she's back and those bastards are takened down."
Ginny then replied, "We don't know where she is right now and she still has her deck and disk with her."
Sebastian then replied, "We just need a plan to get her back and find the rest of those douchebags. We won't give up until she's back with us!"
Nancy then replied, "Thank you for this, Sebeastian. My big sis means the world to me. I look up to her and she's my true hero."
Sebastian smiled at her and replied, "I promise we'll get her back, my young friend. I promise you that."

Back at he HQ's prison area, Kelly was still out cold and sleeping on the metal bench in her cell. The prison are had about 10 of them for people they've kidnapped and brought back. Her duel disk and deck were near by on the ground as well.
Suddenly, the door silent slid open and Shade and Slade walked in with Bulldog behind her and as Bulldog closed the door quickly, they walked over to her cell.
Shade then replied, "We just throw this at her and she'll be a Savage Beast for the rest of her days, sir!"
Slade then replied, "We always need more duelists."
Bulldog then replied, "I'm hoping this works as well."
Suddenly, they heard moaning as Kelly began to wake up and Bulldog then replied, "This will be fun,"
SHe opened her eyes and she saw the 3 Beasts and she then replied, "Your all Savage Beasts!"
Bulldog then replied, "You're a bright girl."
She then replied, "Let me the hell go! I want to head back to my group and help them take you bastards down!"
Slade then replied, "Son..do it."
Shade nodded as he took the capsule out and he threw into her cell and a explosion of black smoke covered her.
Bulldog then replied, "I hope this works out, Shade."
Shade then replied, "She's our first one and lets hope it does work out!"
Slade then replied, "Its clearing out."
As the smoke finally cleared out, Kelly was there and she coughed and Shade then replied, "Remember anything?"
Kelly then replied, "I remember losing to Strings with my pathetic Unicorn deck and then I ended up her until your son threw that capsule at me."
Bulldog then replied, "It did work."
Slade then replied, "I am Master Slade, leader of the Savage Beasts and this is my son Shade, my 2nd in command and this one of my duelists Bulldog."
Kelly then replied, "Pleasure is all mine. Can you make sure this deck gets delivered to them in one piece? Thats all I ask for and I'll do what I can to help you all out."
Slade smield and replied, "That is fine with me, young lady. Glad to have you as a Beast and not a annoying Future Fighter."
Kelly then replied, "I like at as well, sir. I like it too. Also, I Want to send them a letter with the deck too to mess with them."
Slade then replied, "Kelly, you are going to make our group so damn proud of you."

That next day in the buffet area, the gang was deciding on what to do.
Carly then replied, "What do we do now, guys?"
Sebastian then replied, "I say revenge on that Strings guy. We need to get the gang back to wipe him out!"
Carly then replied, "Who wants to duel him though? His Slime Fusion deck is really powerful."
"Let me have a shot at it.", someone's voice was heard.
They turned around and they saw Natalia, Kelly's first opponet and Carly replied, "Are you sure you want to do this? String's is a really hard opponet to beat and she beat Kelly."
Natalia sighed and replied, "She did everything to get my card back from that skeleton and I want to repair the favor and help her beat that slimey bastard!"
Carly smiled and replied, "We can use any kind of help, so welcome to our group."
Suddenly, Melissa walked while holding a large brown box and Caitlin walked into the room and she replied, "Madam Carly, this package just arrived outside of the casino's main doors. No address of who it was from and the postage was fully paid as well!"
Carly then replied, "This may be a trick from those bastards."
Caitlin then replied, "We thought that too, but we checked out and nothing explosiove or dangerous was shown, Carly."
Carly then replied, "Lets see whats inside."
Melissa sat the box down and Carly took a knife from her pocket and slid the box right down the middle. It opened and it showed a plastic case with a deck in it and a note underneath it and Carly took it out and Christina then replied, "What is it, Carly?"
Carly opened the case up and looked through her deck and she sighed and replied, "Its Kelly's Unicorn Beastdown deck, gang."
Ginny then repleid, "Why would those bastards send the deck back?"
Carly grabbed the letter and read it and she sighed sadly and replied, "You need to see this letter, Christina."
She handed to her and she read it and tears started to form in her eyes and she replied, "She gave up on our group and is know a Savage Beast now and she has a brand new deck and doesn't need her old one at all anymore!"
Lucas then replied, "Man, thats harsh."
He walked over to his daughter and put his arm around her and he replied, "It'll be okay, honey. We'll get her back and won't stop until we do so, hon."
She sighed and replied, "
Sebastian then replied, "Good luck."

Sebastian, Ginny and Christina decided to come with Strings to the arena and were waiting for them to show up."
Christina looked around and replied, "Where is he?"
Natalia then replied, "We're ready and show up, bastard!"
Suddenly, a large puddle of slime formed and a humanoid made of slime rose from it and then it turned to the slime-using duelist that took Kelly and he replied, "Welcome."
Christina then replied, "We want Kelly back!"
Strings groaned and replied, "She's a beast now and nothing you can do can ever bring her back."
Christina then replied, "Shut the hell up and I don't believe that at all!'
Natalia then replied, "We duel now and if I win, you'll tell us where we can find her!"
Strings then replied, "Fine. We duel right here and now."
Suddenly, a duel disk appeared on his arm and then they both activated their disks and both drew 5 cards.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Strings LP: 8000 - Natalia LP: 8000)
Strings drew a card and replied, "Summon...Shore Knight."
As he sat the card down, a knight with a red cape appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"Next, I'll equip him with Mist Body."
Suddenly, he was covered in a misty lair.
"Set a card and its your move now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I summon my Gem-Knight Garnet!"
As she sat the card down, the Pyro earth knight appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Attack his Shore Knight!"
He swung his fist and a burst of flames shot out and struck the knight in the chest (Strings LP: 8000 - 7500).
"Your turn now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "I switch him to defense and it uses his ability and now I can discard a Water monster to graveyard now."
He took a Draw Slime and discarded it and then he drew a card and replied, "Tribute Shore Knight to bring out Slime Behemoth."
As the knight vanished, a huge slime-like creature with arms and a legs appeared (ATK: 2,400).
Sebastian then replied, "Eesh."
Christina then replied, "Ugly."
"I now attack your Garnet."
The huge slime let out a burst of slime and it struck, blowing Garnet to little pieces (Natalia LP: 8000 - 7500).
"When Slime Behemoth destroys a monster, it'll gain 100 attack."
Suddenly, it began to glow (ATK: 2,400 - 2,500).
"Make move now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "Summon Slime Spearman."
As he sat the card down, a slimey creature that looked Slime King..except it had no cape or crown, but it now had a long red slimed spear-like weapon in its arm (ATK: 500).
"I equip it to my Slime Behemoth."
Suddenly, the creature turned into a spear of red slime and the creature grabbed it (ATK: 2,500 - 2,800).
"Now, It gains a piercing ability and 300 attack. Attack facedown monster."
The creature swung the spear and a Gem Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) before the spear struck it and blew it to pieces (Natalia LP: 7500 - 6700).
"Set card and its your turn now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I play Heavy Storm!"
The storm began and the red spear splattered all over the ground (ATK: 2,900 - 2600) and then String's facedown Miror Force shattered into shards as well.
"I now summon my Thunder King Rai-Oh!"
As she sat the card down, a large machine-like thunder creature appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I now play Silent Doom!"
Suddenly, Garnet appeared (DEF: 0).
"I now play Gem-Knight Fusion to fuse them together!"
As the two monsters merged together, a large thunder-like knight appeared (ATK; 2,450).
"Meet the mighty Gem-Knight Prismaura!"
Sebastian then replied, "A Gem-Knight deck? Those are cool to watch."
"I now use its ability to discard 1 Gem-Knight from my hand to destroy your monster, you freak!"
As she discarded a monster called Gem-Knight Obsidian to her graveyard, the Fusion aimed its weapon and fired a burst of light from it and it shot out and struck the mighty slime creature in the chest and it exploded into droplets of blue slime that flew everywhere and then Strings grunted and replied, "When Slime Behemoth is destroyed in battle or by a card effect: I can special summon any Slime monster from my deck and I choose my Slime Knight."
As he sat the card down, a slimey humanoid made of grey slime appeared with a metal helmet and its weapon was a small sword dripping with slime as well (ATK: 1,300).
"Since I discarded my Gem-Knight Obsidian to the graveyard, I can special summon a Normal Gem-Knight monster from my graveyard!"
Suddenly, Garnet appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Attack!"
He aimed his weapon at the Slimey knight and fired a burst of energy shot out and blasted Slime Knight into pixels and then 2nd one appeared (ATK: 1,300) and he replied, "When destroyed, I can special summon another from my deck."
"If you say so. Attack!"
Garnet went and punched the slimey knight, splattering the creature all over the ground (Strings LP: 7500 - 5750) and then another knight appeared (ATK: 1,300).
"Your turn now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "Activate Slime Vase to special summon a Slime monster from my hand and I choose Acid Slime."
As he sat the card down, the x-shaped slime creature appeared (ATK: 800).
"Now summon Fiend Slime Mold."
As he sat the card down, the deviish creature made of slime appeared (ATK: 500).
"Now Overlay my 3 monsters."
All 3 monsters turned into light-blue orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"Use monsters to build Overlay Network and Xyz Summon. Slime Snail, come forth."
As she sat the card down, the goopy snail from his last duel appeared (ATK: 1,400).
Christina then replied, "Not that ugly thing again."
"I now use one Xyz Material monster to half the attack of a monster on the field and then Snail gains the attack it lost."
As he discarded a Fiend Slime Mold, the huge fusion monster began to glow (ATK: 2,450 - 1,225) and then the Snail began to glow (ATK: 1,400 - 2,625).
"Attack it with Slime Slush."
The snail opened its mouth and let out a burst of slime and it shot and coated the Fusion and then it collapsed into a pile of pebbles (Natalia LP: 6700 - 5300).
"Set card and its your turn now."
Natalia drew a card adn replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and also set a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
The snail returned to its normal attack (ATK: 2,625 - 1,400).
Strings drew a card and replied, "Summon Worm Drake."
As he sat the card down, the spiked armored appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"Slime Snail attacks."
The snail let out its slimey burst and a Magician of Faith appeared on the card (DEF: 400) before the slime sprayed and then she dissolved into particles and then she got her Gem-Knight Fusion back.
"Drake attacks directly."
The beast went and Natalia quickly replied, "No way! I activate Defense Draw!"
She drew a card as the reptile retreated.
"Set card and turn ends now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I summon my Gem-Knight Alexandrite!"
As she sat the card down, a glittering rocky knight appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now play my Limit Reverse!"
Suddenly, Magician of Faith appeared (ATK: 300).
"I replay Gem-Knight Fusion and I choose my Light Magician of Faith and my Gem-Knight Alexandrite!"
As the two merged together, a beautiful knight appeared with a glowing sword (ATK: 2,300).
"This is Gem-Knight Seraphinite!"
Christina then replied, "Wow."
Sebastian then replied, "There alot of beautiful-looking monsters with the Gem-Knights."
Ginny then replied, "This one is the only Fairy monster of the group."
"When its summoned, I can have a extra Nornal Summon or Set as long its a Gem-Knight and I choose another Garnet!"
Suddenly, another of the earth Pyros appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do it. Garnet, go for the snail!"
The knight opened its hand and fired a burst of flames and they shot and struck and the snail exploded into globs of blue slime that flew everywhere.
"Attack!"
The gem knight went and with and with a hard slice of its sword, cleaved Worm Drake in two. The two halves fell to the ground and shattered to little bits (Strings LP: 5750 - 4350).
Natalia smiled and replied, "There you go. I'll set a card and thats my turn for now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "I play Pot of Avarice."
He took his Worm Drake, All 3 Slime Knights and Slime Behemoth and shuffled the cards back into his deck and drew 2 new cards and then he replied, "Reveal The Transmigration Prophecy. I return Draw Slime to my deck and you return your Gem-Knight Fusion to yours."
They both took the selected cards and shuffled into back into the deck and then he replied, "Now have exactly 5 water monsters in graveyard now, so I can summon this mighty creature."
As he sat the card down, a large icy serpent appeared with a screech (ATK: 2,800).
"Meet Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord."
Ginny then replied, "Whoa, baby."
Christina then replied, "Eek."
"When Summoned, 2 cards are randomly discarded and you have only 1 left."
She sighed as she turned the card around (It was a Gem Merchant) and discarded it.
"Elemental Lord attacks Fusion."
The huge creature opened its mouth and let out a huge burst of ice and frost that shot and froze the Fusion monster solid and then it shattered into triangles (Natalia LP: 5300 - 4700).
"Turn ends now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my monster to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and thats my turn now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "Summon Revival Jam to field."
As she sat the card down, the skull-faced glob of slime appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"Revival Jam attacks Garnet."
The slimey creature went and grew larger and the knight was literally absorbed into the creatures body.
"Moulinglacia attacks facedown monster."
The creature let out another huge burst of ice and a Gem Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and was blown to little pieces as the ice struck it and then she took another card from her deck and placed it in her hand.
"Your turn now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I play Treasured Cards from Heaven."
Strings drew 5 cards and Natalia drew 5 as well and then she replied, "I play Silent Doom!"
Suddenly, Garnet appeared (DEF: 0).
"I now summon my Gem-Knight Sapphire!"
As she sat the card down, another glittering rock knight appeared (ATK: 0).
"I now play Gem-Knight Fusion to fuse them together!"
As the two Gem-Knights merged together, the knight with a large axe-like weapon she used in her duel against Kelly appeared (ATK: 2,500).
"I now play Double Summon for my Gem-Knight Sardonyx!"
As he sat the card down, the rocky knight with a rocky whip appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I tribute Sardonyx for Ruby's ability!"
As the rocky knight vanished, the fusion's axe began to glow (ATK: 2,500 - 4,300).
"Take that big thing down!"
The knight went in and with one heavy slice of his sword, decapitated the huge creature. The lifeless body fell to the ground and melted into a huge puddle of water (Strings LP: 4350 - 2850).
"Your turn now."
Suddenly, Ruby's attack went back to normal (ATK: 4,300 - 2,500).
Strings drew a card and replied, "Keep Revival Jam in attack and I'll set a new monster facedown as well as 1 card facedown and that ends turn now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I summon another Gem-Knight Sardonyx!"
As he sat the card down, the whip-using knight appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Ruby, attack his Revial Jam!"
the knight went in and made a heavy slice of its sword, blowing Revial Jam into globs of silvery slime that flew everywhere (Strings LP: 2850 - 1950).
"Sardonyx, attack!"
The knight swung its whip and a Mother Grizzly appeared on the card before before the whip struck it and blew it to pieces and then a Slimeshaper appeared (ATK: 200).
"Your turn now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "Summon Clone Slime."
As he sat the card down, the red glob of slime appeared (ATK: 0).
"Now use Slimeshapers ability to make it become a Dragon monster now."
Suddenly, it began to glow it turned into a shape of a small dragon.
"Play Polymerization to fuse monsters together."
As they merged, Slime Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,500).
Christina then replied, "It's the card they beat Kelly with."
"Correct. Attacks Gem-Knight Ruby."
The slimey dragon opened its mouth and let out a burst of slime and it shot blew a hole right threw the chest of the rocky fusion and then it collasped into a pile of dust and pebbles (Natalia LP: 4700 - 4600).
"Now take damge equal to your monsters level times 200."
She let out a groan (Natalia LP: 4600 - 3400).
"Your turn now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I play Pot of Avarice!"
She took her first Sardonyx, both Garnets, Sapphire and Gem Turtle and shuffled the cards into her deck and then she drew 2 cards and then she replied, "I play Rare Find. I discard 1 Gem-Knight fusion monster to the graveyard now."
She took her Gem-Knight Topaz and discarded it and then she replied, "I'll set a monster and switch Sardonyx to defense and then I'll set a card and that'll do it for now."
Strings drew a card and replied, "Banish Slimeshaper to bring forth Aqua Spirit."
As he banished the card, the watery elf appeared (ATK; 1,600).
"Tribute her for my Slime Behemoth."
As the monster vanished, the slime creature appeared (ATK: 2,300).
"Play Shield Crush now."
Suddenly, Sardonyx exploded into pebbles.
"Slime Dragon, attack."
The dragon let out a burst of slime again and a Gem-Knight Sapphire appeared on the card (DEF: 2,100) before the slime reduced to pebbles and dust (Natalia LP: 3400 - 2600).
"Attack directy."
The slimey creature opened its mouth and sprayed Natalia with a huge burst of slime (Natalia LP: 2600 - 300).
"Next turn, the slime will get you next. I'll set a card and its the end my turn now."
Natalia drew a card and replied, "I summon my Gem-Knight Iolite!"
As she sat the card down, a beautiful rocky knight made of blue stones appeared (ATK: 1,300).
"Next, I reveal my facedown card, Fragment Fusion!"
The trap flipped up.
Strings grunted and then replied, "Play Jammer Slime. Discard 1 Slime monster to negate trap."
As he discarded a Draw Slime and drew a card, globs of slime shot out and melted the trap quickly and then Natalia smiled and replied, "That was just a decoy trap so I can play Gem Reformation! Lets just say its the Gem-Knight version of Miracle Fusion and I use it to banish my Iolite and 2 Gem-Knights from my graveyard to bring out my best monster!"
As Iolite vanished and Sardonyx's and Sapphire cards came out of the ground and dissolved into grains of light, a huge mighty rocky knight with a large sword appeared (ATK: 2,900).
"Meet the mighty Gem-Knight Master Diamond!"
Christina then replied, "Wow, its the card we won back from that skeleton!"
Sebastian then replied, "Its a beautiful monster."
"It has a awesome effect! I banish 1 Level 7 or lower Fusion and its name and effect becomes it and I'll banish my Gem-Knight Topaz!"
She took the card and banished it and then Topaz's kukri's appeared on its armor.
"Attack his Slime Dragon!"
The huge fusion and made a mighty smash with its sword, splattering Slime Dragon all over the ground (Strings LP: 1950 - 1550).
"Now you take damage equal to my monsters attack, freak!"
Suddenly, Strings let out a moan (Strings LP: 1550 - 0).
Christina smiled and replied, "YEA!"
Sebastian then replied, "She did it."
Strings grunted and replied, "Follow..map to find your friend."
As he and his disk melted into a puddle of blue slime and it dissolved, a small blue box appeared where he was standing and then Sebastian quickly opened it and he looked inside of it and he nodded and replied, "It is a map and somesort of key for somewhere in the Twin Cities."
Christina then replied, "I'll do anything to get my best friend back, Sebastian!"
He nodded and replied, "I wouldn't have it any other way, Christina."

Slime Vase / Normal Spell Card

Special Summon 1 "Slime" monster from your hand.
Slime Jammer / Normal Trap Card

Discard 1 "Slime" monster. Negate the activation of an opponent's Spell/Trap Card, and destroy that card.
Note: Both of these cards were used by Mad Dog in the Yugioh GX episode "No Pain, No Game" and creative credit goes to the writers of that episode.
Slime Behemoth
Aqua/Effect/Water/ATK: 2,400/DEF: 2,000/6 Stars
When this card destroys a monster in battle: increase this cards ATK by 100. When this card is destroyed in battle or by a card effect: Special summon 1 "Slime" monster or "Revival Jam" from your deck to your side of the field in faceup attack postion.
Slime Knight
Aqua/Effect/Water/ATK: 1,300/DEF: 1,300/3 Stars
When this card is destroyed in battle: Special summon 1 "Slime Knight" from your deck.
Slime Spearman
Aqua/Union/Effect/ATK: 500/DEF: 500/2 Stars
Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 face-up WATER monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. While equipped by this effect, the equipped monster gains 300 ATK and inflicts piercing battle damage. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)
Rare Find / Normal Spell Card

Select a "Gem-Knight" Fusion monster in your Extra Deck and discard it to the graveyard. Only 1 "Rare Find" can be activated per turn.
Gem Reformation / Normal Spell Card

Banish, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, the Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on an "Gem-Knight " Fusion Monster Card, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)

Strings is finally defeated! In the next chapter, they search for Kelly and then they find the next duelist and he's no one else but Slade's other friend Jayden, who wants revenge of them for them beating Jackie in a duel. Who will duel him and where will it take place? Find out in the next chapter that will be coming soon and once again, the title will be a secret.
