Chapter 39: Battle in the Underground

Back in the buffet room of the Future Fighter's current HQ, they were going over the map they got from Strings.
Christina then replied, "This doesn't tell us much at all! How do we know when those beasts will attack or Kelly will even be with them?"
Carly then replied, "That is a good point, Christina. We need to think of places they haven't been yet and wait for them there."
Sebastian then replied, "Whenever a Savage Beast is defeated, the area they used to control cannot be entered at all anymore."
Ginny pointed to another building and he replied, "They haven't been sighted in there right now."
Sebastian then replied, "Good point. We need to take over the Mall of America. If we can get to become ours, we'll steal a major site from those bastards!"
Christina then replied, You guys did send a couple of members to watch over the stations and the trains and we can use them to take them there!"
Sebastian then replied, "Good idea, my friend."
Suddenly, Lucas and Rick walked in and Rick replied, "I want to help out too I want to go with them when they use the trains to head to the MOA tomorrow. I used to work there and know the secrets about the place!"
Carly then replied, "That'll help us out alot, dear."
Sebastian nodded and then he looked at Rick and replied, "You're up to duel next. Your deck ready to go?"
Rick then repleid, "Dam right it is."
"Good to hear. We'll head to the station tomorrow morning and we'll go from there!"
Christina then replied, "We'll get her back on our side soon enough."

Back at the HQ of the beasts, Slade, Shade, Kelly and Bulldog were disccusing about his loss.
Kelly then replied, "That Natalia knows how to duel and duel good, gang. Strings did all he could, but that bratty girl did better and managed to beat him."
Shade looked at his father and replied, "So we banish him now?"
Slade then replied, "Not right now. If he gets one more loss, he's history. For now, I'll need everyone when they decide to attack our HQ, son. We'll need everyone we need."
Bulldog then replied, "We'll get some more help soon, sir. We won't give up until we win and they lose!"
Suddenly, Jayden came in and he replied, "Shade."
Shade looked at him and replied, "Hey, Jayden. How's Jackie doing?"
Jayden then replied, "Resting and do much better. She said that was the toughest duel she was ever been through, Shade."
Kelly then replied, "I understand that. She had alot of neat Wind monsters."
Jayden pointed to her and replied, "I thought she was one of those!"
Kelly smiled evily and replied, "Not anymore, my friend. I quit those idiots when Shade convinced to help the right team out."
Jayden then replied, "You still have that Future Fighter Synchro?"
She took the card out of her pocket and she nodded and replied, "Damn right I do, my friend."
Jayden looked at Shade and replied, "Can we turn it into a dark evil monster for our use?"
Shade then replied, "Anything is possible, my friend. If we had it as a powerful Synchro of darkness, we'll do just fine in our duels to come."
Kelly handed the card to Shade and he looked at it and replied, "This card has its possibilitys."
Jayden the replied, "I should head out and ambush them in the underground Light Rail station in the Airport area. That'll be my best chance to duel them!"
Shade then replied, "That is actually a really good idea, so do so."
Jayden nodded as he walked and he turned to Bulldog and replied, "Go with him and keep a eye on things to come."
Bulldog nodded as he left the room as well and Slade replied, "What kind of card should we make the card into now, dad?"
"I have a few good ideas for one, my son."

That next day, the gang was at the Target Field Light-Rail staion and was ready to board it.
Carly then replied, "Good luck to all of you. I hope you can be successfull at this plan."
Rick then replied, "I can't wait to wipe the floor with those pricks! My deck is ready to go."
Lucas then replied, "I'm going too. I want to make sure nothing weird happens."
Christina then replied, "The more, the better. Lets go."
She, Ginny, Lucas, Rick and Sebastian got onto the train and about a couple of minutes later, they train departed towards the station and Melissa looked at Carly and replied, "Do they have a decent chance on taking the mall for ourselves?"
Carly sighed and replied, "I don't know, but I hope for the best and they'll do the best I can to win the spot for us."

About 10 minutes later, they were at the Fort Snelling Station and was about to enter the underground station.
Rick then replied, "No problems yet."
Suddenly, they looked infront of them and down the aisle of the car was a Cyber Commander (ATK: 750).
Ginny then replied, "They've send a weakling to try to stop us? Pathetic."
She activated her duel disk and then sat a card down and Axe Raider appeared (ATK: 1,700) and the machine looked a bit worried.
"Take it down!", Ginny ordered.
The mighty warrior and made a quick heavy slice with his sword, cutting Cyber Commander in two. The two pieces fell to the ground and shattered to little bits.
Ginny smiled and replied, "Nice try."
Suddenly, a Mechanicalchaser appeared (ATK: 1,700).
Ginny sighed and replied, "Still, no problem."
She took a Fusion Murasame Blade and equipped it to the warrior (ATK: 1,700 - 2,500).
"Attack!"
The warrior went and made a heavy smash with his axe, smashing the machine to bits and then Axe Raider raised his arm in victory and then vanished.
Ginny smiled and replied, "Yea, baby!"
Rick looked at the window and he gulped and replied, "Guys, outside!"
They turned to the windows and saw a Barrel Dragon (ATK: 2,600) and its cannons were aimed at them!
Christina then replied, "Let it to me!"
She activated her duel disk and a Blazing Inpachi appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"I play Megamorph!"
Suddenly, the Pyro began to glow (ATK: 1,850 - 3,700).
"Attack!"
As it vanished and went outside, the train started up again and it went towards the tunnel entrance and the Pyro threw a punch and then flames covered the machine and then as the train entered the tunnel, the dark machine exploded into flaming debris that flew everywhere and then the Pyro vanished into a cloud of black smoke.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the underground station and they noticed the tunnels that would lead them to the megamall were blocked with shields of energy.
Sebastian then replied, "Just great. Now what do we do now?"
Rick then replied, "Lets head back the other way!"
Suddenly, shields blocked the tunnel they came in through as well.
"Shouldn't of said that.", Rick said with a sigh.
"We control the shields, you fools!", Bulldog's voice was heard.
They all turned to the escalators and they saw Bulldog and Jayden coming down.
Sebastian then replied, "Great, more of this fools!"
Jayden then replied, "I'm Jayden, Jackie's husband and I want revenge for you beating her, Christina!"
Christina smiled and replied, "I'd love the chance to kick your butt too!"
Rick then replied, "I want to duel this guy! My deck is more then fine to beat him!"
Christina nodded and then he looked Jayden and replied, "You duel my friend Rick first. We win, the shields go down and if you win, you getta chance to duel me!"
Jayden then replied, "I accept your silly wager! My deck is more then enough to wipe yours out!"
As Ginny, Christina, Lucas and Sebastian sat down, the duelists activated their duel disks and drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Jayden LP: 8000 - Rick LP: 8000)
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I send out Seeker Shark!"
As he sat the card down, a large blue-skinned shark with two shark fins appeared (ATK: 1,900).
Lucas then replied, "I thought we seen enough water duels with Krieger's deck!"
Jayden then replied, "My deck is 30 times better then his shitty Water Beatdown one! He didn't even use a Synchro or a Xyz! Attack his facedown monster!"
The shark flew in and a Golem Sentry appeared on the card (DEF: 1,800) and the shark rammed it with its body, smashing the rocky door into a pile of dust and pebbles.
"Boring. Your turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll summon Beta the Magnet Warrior!"
As he sat the card down, the rocky warrior used by the King of Games appeared (ATK: 1,700).
Jayden smirked and replied, "Please, that thing is weaker then my shark."
Rick smiled and replied, "I play Shield & Sword!"
Suddenly, Betas stats changed (1,700/1,600 - 1,600/1,700) and so did the sharks (ATK: 1,900/1,000 - 1,000/1,900).
"Damn you!"
"Whatever. Attack!"
The magnet pointed its hand and launched a burst of electricity and the shark was blown to atoms as the attack struck it down (Jayden LP: 8000 - 7400).
"There you go. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Betas stats went back to normal.
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster as well and I'll attack!"
Beta fired another burst of electricity and a Skreech on appeared on the card (DEF: 300) before the electricity atomized it and then he took 2 water monsters from his deck and discarded them.
"Okay..then. I end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I summon the mighty Double Fin Shark!"
As he sat the card down, a shark with two fins appeared (ATK: 1,000).
"When its Normal Summoned, I can special summon a level 3 or 4 water Fish monster from my graveyard and I choose my Level 4 Spear Shark that I discarded with my Skreech."
Suddenly, a shark with a large spear infront of it appeared (DEF: 1,400).
"I now overlay my 2 level 4 Shark monsters!"
Both turned into blue orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to construct the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear right now..Shark Cannoner!"
As he sat the card down, a large red-skinned shark with a metal cannon on its back appeared (ATK: 2,200).
Sebastian then replied, "I see a Shark theme here!"
Jayden then replied, "I love Sharks and I made a deck with mostly shark monsters and other useful Water monsters, like my Skreech. as long as its on the field, you cannot attack any other Fish-type monsters I have! I now remove one Xyz Material monster to add a Water Fish-type monster from my deck to my hand!"
As he took the Double Fin Shark and discarded it, he took another monster from his deck and placed it in his hand and then he replied, "Cool. Shark Cannoner, attack his Beta!"
The cannon powered and then the shark fired a huge burst of energy, blasting the Magnet Warrior to little pieces (Rick LP: 8000 - 7500).
"There you go. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll set another monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I summon Big Jaws!"
As he sat the card down, a shark with a huge mouth of teeth appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Next, I'll play Double Summon for another one!"
Suddenly, another of the large sharks appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now play Loan Shark!"
He drew 2 cards and then he replied, "I'll take 3000 damage if I can't banish 2 monsters of the same type. Cannoner, attack!"
The shark fired a burst of energy and a Medusa Worm appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and was blown to pieces as the attack struck it.
Big Jaws, attack!"
The huge shark went in and a Giant Rat appeared on the card (DEF: 1,450) and the shark went and made a large chomp, bitting the large rodent in two and then a 2nd appeared (ATK; 1,400) and then the 2nd Big Jaws went in and devoured the large rat quickly (Rick LP: 7500 - 7100) and then a Alpha the Magnet Warrior appeared (ATK; 1,400).
"I end my turn now and now due to their effects, they are banished which will be the requirements of my trap card."
Suddenly, the two sharks dissolved into light.
Rick drew a card and replied, "I play Silent Doom!"
Suddenly, Beta appeared (DEF: 1,600).
"I now summon my Gamma the Magnet Warrior!"
As he sat the card down, the rocky warrior appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I combine them all to create Valkyrion the Magnet Warrior!"
As the 3 rock monsters broke apart and merged together, it made the mighest rock monster in the game (ATK: 3,500).
Jayden then replied, "Damn.."
"Attack!"
Valkyrion went and made a quick heavy slice, blasting Shark Cannoner to pieces (Jayden LP: 7400 - 6100).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I play Soul Release to banish the 3 sharks in my graveyard!"
He took the cards and banished them.
"Since I have 3 or more banished Fish monsters, I can play Fish and Kicks! I can now banish your Valykrion!"
The spell appeared.
Rick smiled and replied, "Are you now? I activate Dark Bribe!"
As he drew a card, the spell shattered to bits and then he replied, "Damn it. I'll set a monster and a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll summon my Fossil Tusker!"
As he sat the card down, the odd skeleton-like rock appeared (ATK: 1,800).
Valkyrion swung its large sword and a Mother Grizzly appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and was blown to pieces when the sword struck it and then another one appeared (ATK: 1,400) and the other rock creature opened its mouth and shot out a wave of sharp rocks and they went and stabbed into the bear, blowing it to shards (Jayden LP: 6100 - 5400) and then a Soul Eater appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"I end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I activate my facedown card, Fish Depth Charge! I tribute one of my Fish monsters and one of your monsters is destroyed!"
The fish launched in and it smashed into Valkyrion and then it exploded into a shower of dust and pebbles.
"Good riddance. I now play Foolish Burial!"
He took a monster and discarded it and he replied, "Since I discarded my Nimble Angeler to the graveyard, I can special summon 2 Nimble monsters from my deck and I choose two Nimble Sunfish!"
Suddenly, 2 small fish appeared (ATK; 1,000 x2).
"I now tribute one of them for my Megamouth Shark!"
As the small fish vanished, a large odd-looking shark appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I use its ability to tribute a fish monster to special summon a banished Fish monster and I choose my Big Jaws!"
Suddenly, the large shark appeared (DEF: 300).
"Now my Megamouth Shark's level becomes 3 as well and since both are level 3 monsters, I overlay them both!"
Both turned into blue orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now..Black Ray Lancer!"
As he sat the card down, a mighty beast-warrior with a spear for a weapon appeared (ATK: 2,100).
Sebastian then replied, "Actually, he's using a banished water deck."
"That is right! Attack his monster!"
The beast-warrior went in and jammed its spear into the rocky creature and then it collapsed into a pile of pebbles (Rick LP: 7100 - 6800).
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I now summon another Seeker Shark!"
As he sat the card down, the large shark appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I now tribute it to special summon my Sharkraken!"
As the weaker shark vanished, a larger shark appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Lets do it. Lancer, attack!"
The Xyz went in and a Sand Moth appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and he jammed its spear into the sandy creature and then it crumbled into a pile of dust.
"Sharkraken, attack!"
The large shark went in and a Giant Soldier of Stone appeared on the card (DEF: 1,300) and was blasted to pieces when the shark rammed into it and then Rick quickly replied, "I activate Broken Blocker!"
Suddenly, two more of the soldiers appeared (DEF: 2,000 x 2).
"Damn it. I end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I summon my Stone Gargoyle!"
As he sat the card down, the rocky gargoyle appeared (ATK; 900).
"I now tune all 3 of my monsters together!"
The small rock split apart into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through both Giant Soldier of Stones, which turned into a total of 6 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..Gigantcastle!"
As he sat the card down, the huge rocky monster appeared (ATK: 2,900 - 3,300) and how'd it managed to fit in the small tunnel was unknown and a little bit odd.
Lucas then replied, "Awesome!"
"Now, attack that Sharkraken!"
The huge rock swung its fist and made a mighty smash with it, smashing the shark flat (Jayden LP: 6100 - 5200).
"Your turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Lancer to defense and then I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I summon my Doguu!"
As he sat the card down, a small rocky statue appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do it. Doguu, attack his Lancer!"
The rocky idols eyes began to glow and then two beams of light shot and struck, blowing the Xyz to atoms and then Jayden quickly replied, "I activate Xyz Heal! Since my Xyz was destroyed in battle, I gain lifepoints equal to my monsters rank times 400!"
Suddenly, he began to glow (Jayden LP: 5200 - 6400).
"Enjoy then while you can! Attack his facedown monster!"
The mighty Synchro's fist went in and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) before the fist crushed into powder and both discarded their current hands before drawing 5 cards and then Rick nodded and replied, "Your turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I play Soul Release on my Sharkraken, Seeker Shark, Shark Cannoner, Big Jaws and the Unshaven Angeler I discarded with my jar!"
He took the 5 cards and banished them and then he replied, "I now play D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation! I discard 1 card to special summon a banished monster!"
As he discarded a Great White to his graveyard Unshaven Angeler appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I now tribute it for my Hyper-Ancient Shark Megalodon!"
As the large fish vanished, a HUGE shark with a mouth full of sharp teeth appeared (ATK: 2,900).
Christina then replied, "Damn."
Sebastian then replied, "That thing is huge!"
"I Now attack your Doguu!"
The huge shark went in and swallowed the rocky idol in one gulp (Rick LP: 6800 - 5800) and then Jayden smiled and replied, "During damage calculation when my huge shark does any battle damage, one of your monsters is destroyed!"
Suddenly, the huge Synchro began to glow crack before it fell apart in many small pieces that turned to dust when it hit the ground.
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I summon my Abyssal Kingshark!"
As he sat the card down, the bony shark appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Lets do it. Kingshark, attack!"
The fish went and a Stone Statue of the Aztecs appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and the fish jammed its nose into the it and it swam back in pain (Jayden LP: 6400 - 5800) and he growled and replied, "Damn it! Attack!"
The huge shark went in and reduced it to rubble.
"You lucked out, I guess. I end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I banish 1 earth monster to summon my Gigantes!"
As he took his Sand Moth and banished it, the rocky ogre appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I tribute it for my Criosphinx!"
As he took the card and banished, the ram-headed sphinx appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"I now activate Inverse Universe!"
Suddenly, the shark let out roar (2,900/1,300 - 1,300/2,900), the fish began to glow (1,700/600 - 600/1,700) and then his statue glowed as well (1,200/2,400 - 2,400/1,200).
"Attack his Megalodon!"
The rock went in and rammed its body into the shark and it thrashed around in pain before it exploded into shards (Jayden LP: 5800 - 4700).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Kingshark to defense and thats all I will do for now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I banish Gigantes to summon my 2nd one!"
As he banished the 1st one, a copy of the first one appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I attack your Kingshark!"
The rocky ogre went in and slammed its tree trunk on it, do nothing to it and then Criosphinx went and rammed into it, shattering the boney fish to bits.
"Your move now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I drop 1000 lifepoints to play Instant Fusion and it'll be for my Deepsea Shark!"
As he began to glow (Jayden LP: 4700 - 3700), a large purple shark appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I now summon my Cyber Shark without a tribute since I have a water monster on the field!"
Suddenly, another shark appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"I now overlay my 2 monsters!"
Both sharks turned into black orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear..Shark Fortress!"
As he sat the card down, a large machine-like shark appeared (ATK: 2,400).
Sebastian then replied, "Thats one of two Shark monsters that is not a Water monster."
Christina then replied, "Whats the other one?"
Ginny then replied, "Its a old card called Corroding Shark and its a Zombie of darkness."
"Next, I equip it with Xyz Unit!"
Suddenly, it began to glow (ATK: 2,400 - 3,400).
"I remove one Xyz Material monster to allow any monster I control to attack twice and of course I choose my Shark Fortress!"
As he took the Deepsea Shark and removed it, the shark appeared and it swam into the mechanical shark.
"attack Criosphinx and Gigantes!"
The machine fired a burst of torpedos and they struck, blowing Gigantes and Criosphinx to little pieces (Rick LP: 5800 - 3300) and then Rick replied, "When Gigantes is destroyed, all spells and traps on the field are wiped out!"
Suddenly, a huge dust storm began and then the equip eroded into sand (ATK: 3,400 - 2,400) Jayden sighed and replied, "No big deal. I end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "Once again, I remove a Xyz Material monster to let my Fortress attack twice!"
She took the card and banished it.
"Attack!"
The fortress launched its barrage of torpedos towards the facedown card and they struck, blowing up Rick's facedown Koa'ki Meiru Rock and then more shot out towards him and then Rick quickly replied, "I activate Negate Attack!"
The rest of the torpedos struck a wall.
"I end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I banish my Koa'ki Meiru Rock and my Gigantes to special summon my Gaia Plate the Earth Giant!"
As he banished the two monsters, a huge rocky creature appeared (ATK; 2,800).
"I'll set a monster facedown and I'll attack your Fortress!"
The rocky golem swung its fist and struck the huge metal shark (ATK: 2,400 - 1,200) and then machine fell apart into pile of broken metal (Jayden LP: 4700 - 3100).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I tribute my facedown Moai Intercepter Cannons for my Hiercosphinx!"
As the facedown card vanished, the hawk-headed Sphinx appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Lets do it. Gaia Plate, attack!"
The huge rock swung its fist and a Skreech appeared on the card (DEF: 300 - 150) and the rock crushed it flat with its arm and then he took two more cards from his deck and discarded them.
"Attack him directly!"
The sphinx let out a mighty screech as it flapped its wings and a wave of dust and pebbles flew and struck Jayden (Jayden LP: 3100 - 700).
"Your turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I play Mind Control!"
Suddenly, the earth giant appeared on his side of the field.
"I now play Fortress Whale's Oath!"
the Ritual card appeared.
"I offer your monster for the for sacrifice!"
As the golem vanished, a large whale appeared with a cannon on it appeared (ATK: 2,350).
"I Now play Aqua Jet! This gives a certain type of monster 1000 more attack until its removed from the field!"
Suddenly, its cannon began to glow (ATK: 2,350 - 3,350).
Sebastian then replied, "Not good!"
"Attack his Sphinx!"
The mighty whale fired its cannon and Hieracosphinx was blown into fragments (Rick LP: 3300 - 2350).
"I'll set a card and its Your turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I play Burial from the Diffent Dimension!"
He took both of his Gigantes and his Koa'ki Meiru rock and sent them back to the graveyard.
"I'll set a card and a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Jayden drew a card and replied, "I summon my 2nd Abyssal Kingshark!"
As he sat the card down, another of the bony sharks appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Lets do it. Fortress Whale, attack!"
The whale fired its cannon and a Great Spirit appeared on the card (DEF: 1,500) and was blown to dust as the attack struck it and then Kingshark went and struck Rick down (Rick LP: 2350 - 650).
"Your turn now."
Rick drew a card and replied, "I play Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and Jayden's facedown Mirror Force was blown to bits.
"I now banish all rock monsters in my graveyard to summon my best card!"
As he took 20 of his Rock monsters and banished them, the mighty Megarock Dragon appeared (ATK: ?).
Jayden gulped and replied, "Oh, no."
Suddenly, it began to glow (ATK: ? - 14,000/14,000).
Christina smiled and replied, "Yea, baby!"
"Now, attack his Fortress Whale!"
The dragon let out a roar as a huge burst of sand and pebbles shot out and they struck the huge whale and then huge ritual monster let a screech before it was blasted into pixels, ending the duel (Jayden LP: 700 - 0).
Sebastian then replied, "Good dueling, Rick!"
Jayden groaned and replied, "My buddy will cream you!"
Sebastian then replied, "We'll see about that, you fool!"
He quickly ran to Bulldog and replied, "Lets get the hell of here!"
