Chapter 46: FINISH IT!

Kuma and Hikari found two items.

A knife.

And a bottle of poison.

"So what's Papa's murder weapon?" Kuma flinched at the sentence. Hikari saw and patted her back. "It's ok, nee-san! It isn't real!" Kuma smiled at the girl and nodded. "Your right. So what do you think Hikari?" Hikari thought about to riddle and pointed at the bottle.

"Poison. Because remember? Mystogan-sama said 'This morning I watched the sky turn green.' and then we concluded that being stabbed doesn't ditur your sights sense of color. And then later on he said 'Was it really the knife that took away life? Or was it something else that caused such strife?' The only other thing out here beside the knife was the poison." Kuma thought that it did make sense. So with that they yelled into the sky: "POISON!"

A magical rune appeared and a packet of papers appeared.

"You say my weapon is poison, young ones? Please prove me wrong. Or right. Read my contract when I became an S-Class and see what my description beholds that I signed overnight." Mystogan's voice rang out and pulling out wind reader glassess, Kuma quickly read the contract.

"Papa's...not the killer!"

Out of the woods Mystogan appeared and bowed his head. "I am not the killer." He agreed and handed Hikari a slip of paper. "You two must hurry now to the hotel and stop the real killer from murdering Master Makorov." Nodding a cleared path appears and they run down it, leaving an innocent Mystogan behind.

"Warning. One team has already finish their investigation. Only two teams will beat this challenge. Time remaining: 2 minutes."

Erza's voice clicked in and out as Eve and Cherise walked around the clearing. Their poem was so confusing they didn't even want to repeat it. Honestly they didn't know what another murder weapon had to do with Juvia's murder. They took there three guesses and the hologram shattered.

"Report back to the hotel if you wouldn't mind." Mirajane's voice said sweetly.

Eve and Cherise had a sudden dread to return back to the hotel.

Breathing heavily, Erza was in the doorway of the hotel's entrance.

"Which would you two like to check first. You get two locations since you got here first. You have the crime scene where Juvia passed. The Mourge which is where her body lays in the basement or the last known whereabouts before the murder took place." Hikari and Kuma exchanged glances and Kuma nodded with a smirk like they read each other's minds.

"Crime Scene and Mourge." For confirmation Kuma turned to Hikari who nodded her consent.

-At the Crime Scene-

Hikari and Kuma found plenty of evidence for the next murder. A safebox with a pass code written on the back that could easily be opened. Footsteps on the carpeted floor and two bottles of poison.

"This is just like this T.V show I use to watch with Mee Maw." Hikari exclaimed, reffering to her grandmother. Kuma chuckled and nodded. "I know which one your talking about. Whodunnit? Right?" Hikari nodded and they went on talking about the first season and how they hadn't expected the true murderer, a girl named Kris, to be the suspect. "I thought it was Ronnie for a while." Kuma murmured as they followed Erza tithe hotel basement. "I thought it was Giles! The butler makes the most sense, ne? I mean he was everywhere, knew every location of the mansion and every contestant." Erza chuckled at their conversation.

-Mourge-

Looking over Juvia's body, Hikari called Kuma to herside of the bed.

What Kuma saw was evidence enough for her.

"Whoa..."

"You two must hurry! Report to your rooms and get dressed for your cases to be presented!" Erza

exclaimed, pushing Hikari and Kuma towards there room. "Mom wait!" She called back behind her but Erza was already gone.

On their respective beds, pretty dressess sat there making Kuma and Hikari nervous.

Getting dressed Kuma wore a purple and black mermaid. It was a purple dress with black floral lace everywhere and a black sash. Her arms adorned purple sleeves that tied at the elbow and fanned out to her finger tips. She wished they covered her whole left arm and her back. Hikari wore a blue dress that had a sweet heart neckline that reached all the way to her knees. It flew with every step she took.

"What do you think Erza-sama meant by state our cases?"

Kuma shrugged and awaited as this challenge came to an end.

Finally the bell rung.

Let's end this.
