Chapter 43: Challenge of the High Seas

Back at the casino, Hazel Ann and Ginny were talking about the duel that happened.
Sebastian the replied, "That little jerk Riley was released and now he's hiding out in Valleyfair?"
Hazal Ann then replied, "Yes, sir. Now's your chance to beat him and arrest him finally."
Carly then replied,"When you get back to our time, ask around if anyone has any information about how he got out? Call us off by com-phone to let us know about anything, Hazel Ann."
She smiled and replied, "Will do, boss."
Suddenly, Sebastian took a envolope out of his pocket and handed it to Hazel Ann and he replied, "You deserve this, young lady."
She took it and opened and inside was a keycard and a duel monsters card and he took the card out and read it and it was a Light and Darkness Dragon and she gasped and replied, "This goes well with the theme of my deck and I've always wanted it! Thank you so, so, so much, sir!"
Sebastian smiled and replied, "No problem, young lady. That keycard will open the Executive/Sage area of the compound and you and your family are always welcomed inside."
Hazel Ann then replied, "This is all too much, but thank you so much."
Lucas went into his pocket and took his Dragon Deck out and hw walked to Hazel Ann and he smiled and replied, "I have some Extra Deck and main deck cards that might suit your deck as well, young lady."
She took them and she looked through the deck and she smiled and replied, "Thank you, sir."
Christina then replied, "You only going back to using your Cyber Dragon deck now, eh?"
Lucas then replied, "Yep, sure am. Its the deck that suits me the best and I got bored with my old deck, hon."
Suddenly, a portal opened up and Hazel Ann then replied, "I'll see you again soon."
Ginny walked up to her and replied, "Thanks for a great night, girl."
Hazel Ann smiled back and replied, "Hope to see you again soon, my friend."
She walked through it and it closed up and then Carly sighed and replied, "I Can't believe one of our guys is a traitor and helped those two out!"
Ginny then replied, "We'll get him and we should keep him locked up here until that person is captured, Carly."
Carly nodded and replied, "Good idea. Tomorrow, we head after that freak!"
Christina then replied, "I'm ready to duel that punk again. He beat me and made me a old woman last and want revenge."
Carly nodded and replied, "I'm okay with that, honey."
Sebastian then replied, "Me too and we're about to pick you anyway for the duel."
Christina then repleid, "Sounds good."

Later that night in her room, Christina was looking at her fire deck and another one she made and was ready to use at any time.
Chrisitna then replied, "My fire deck is a really good one, but I want to suprise that dick tomorrow with a brand-new deck."
She looked through it and she nodded and replied, "I'll need to add a few new cards to make it a great one, but I have alot of them stored so that won't be a problem at all."
She gathered her 2nd deck up and she smiled and replied, "Time to teach that jerk a lesson."

At the hotel near the amusement park, Riley was going over his deck one last time before his next duel.
Riley then replied, "This deck of mine will make any deck look like a joke. I have the best cards and I can't wait to crush them to get my Celeste back to me. Those idiots will pay for doing this."
.He sighed deeply and replied, "Babe, I'm doing this for you and I love you with all my heart and soul."
He went to the nearby bed and went to sleep.

Later that night, Bulldog, Sledge and Peter was watching a duel against a Newbie named Carlos and one of the captains who was named Daniel. It was about to start.
Sledge then replied, "If the new guy wins, he's in and if Daniel loses, who goes to nobody level of the gang. Prepare."
Both drew 5 cards from their decks.
"Start!"
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Sledge LP: 8000 - Carlos LP: 8000)
Carlos drew a card and replied, "I'll set a couple of cards facedown and I also activate Canyon!"
As he slid the card into the slot and as it closed up, he pushed the button and the field spell card appeared.
"I'll set 2 cards facedown and then I'll set a monster and it's your turn, Daniel."
Daniel drew a card and replied, "Thats Captain Daniel, punk! I play Ancient Rules to bring out my Tri-Horned Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, the wicked horned dragon appeared (ATK: 2,850).
"I now summon my Genetic Warwolf!"
As he sat the card down, the mighty 4-armed beast appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"Lets do it. Tri-horned Dragon, attack!"
The dragon opened its mouth and a Giant Statue of the Aztecs appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000).
Daniel quickly replied, "I activate Fairy Box."
Suddenly, the carnival game appeared.
"I flip a coin and if I win, your monsters ATK is zero and if I call wrong, the attack continues with no problem. Heads."
He flipped the card into the air and landed on heads!
Sledge then replied, "There goes half of his lifepoints already."
"Next, I chain it to my D2 Shield to double its DEF."
As the dragon weakened (ATK: 2,850 - 0) and then shield got stronger (DEF: 2,000 - 4,000) and the flames went and reflected off the statue and they flew black and struck Daniel down (Daniel LP: 8000 - 0).
Bulldog then replied, "That was one fucking cool OTK, dude!"
Carlos nodded and replied, "Thank you so much, sir."
Bulldog looked at Daniel and replied, "You'll keep your captain postion..if you accept Carlos as your new appentice, Daniel."
Daniel sighed and replied, "I'll do it for the team, sir Bulldog."
Sledge then replied, "It'll start in the morning and if you mess this up, you'll be demoted for sure!"
Daniel then replied, "Yes, sir."
As he and Carlos left the arena, Bulldog then replied, "Quiet a talented duelist."
Sledge then replied, "You think Daniel will last a day or more?"
Jacob then replied, "Maybe, but he'll drive him nuts soon enough, sir."
Bulldog then replied, "We'll have to see for ourselves. Lets all get some sleep."

Outside of the park's entrance, the gang was waiting for him. Carly decided to come this time to watch the duel.
Christina then replied, "Come on out, Riley!"
Suddenly, Riley appeared in a burst of black smoke that blew away and he replied, "Ready for another duel?"
Christina then replied, "How'd the hell do you become young again?"
Riley smiled and replied, "My girlfriend Celeste used a special item that was in her family for decades and her parents approved on using the youngifier on me to make me a young man again."
Sebastian then replied, "So, you both busted out and then join the Beasts?"
Riley nodded and replied, "Sure did, old man. Are we going to talk or duel?"
Christina then replied, "Lets get started already!"
She took her Fire Deck and its Extra Deck and slid them into her side pocket and she opened her other pocket and slid the new deck she had into her disk and slid the extra deck into place as well.
Kelly then repleid, "She's using another deck?"
Ginny then repleid, "Can't wait to see what it can do."
Riley smiled and replied, "Ready, bitch?"
Christiina then repleid, "Your the bitch, jackass."
Both activated their duel disks and drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.

Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and its your turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I'll start out with Foolish Burial."
He took a monster from his deck and discarded it and then reshuffled and replied, "I'll set a monsnter and 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "Boring so foar. I flip my my X-Saber Urz to faceup attack postion."
As she flipped the card, a beast-warrior wielding two swords appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Next, I summon XX-Saber Garsem."
As she sat the card down, a antelople-like beast-warrior with two blades on its arms appared (ATK: 1,400 - 1,600).
"He gains 200 attack for each X-Saber on the field and it won't including himself, I'm afraid."
Ginny then replied, "She's using a X-Saber deck? Cool."
Riley then replied, "Big damn deal. I'll crush it to bits."
"Whatever you say. Garsem, attack!"
"Lets do it. Attack!"
The antelope warrior went in and a Mother Grizzly appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and with two slashes of its blades, the beast was blown to shards and then Riley replied, "I special summon my Evil Shade Cutlass!"
Suddenly, a spooky-looking pirate sword appeared while floating in midair and then Riley quickly replied, "I play Infernal Reckless Summon!"
Suddenly, two more of the haunted swords appeared (ATK: 500 x2) and then a 2nd Urz appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Okay then. Urz brothers, attack!"
The two beast-warriors went and smashed the two of the haunted swords to little pieces (Riley LP: 8000 - 5800) and then he replied, "When they get destroyed, I gain 800 lifepoints."
Suddenly, he began to glow (Riley LP: 5800 - 7400).
"Okay..then. I'll set a card and that'lll end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I now activate my other facedown card and its called Spiritual Water Art - Aoi! I tribute a Water monster and then I get to see your hand and force you to discard 1 card from it!"
As the sword vanished from sight, Christina let out a sneer as he showed him his hand and from left to right was a Terraforming spell, a X-Saber Anaperera, a One for One Spell card and a XX-Saber Reijigra.
"Discard...the one on the far right!"
She took the XX-Saber Reijigra and then he replied, "I now summon my Evil Shade Buccaneer!"
As he sat the card down, a skeleton-like pirate appeared with two flintlock pistols for weapons (ATK: 1,400).
"He gains 300 attack and defense for each Buccaneer and each one of my Evil Shade Cutlasses are considered them while in the graveyard!"
Suddenly, he let out a moan (ATK: 1,400 - 2,300).
Ginny looked at Sebastian and replied, "You ever heard of these cards?"
Sebastian then replied, "In our time the cards are really popular and if all of them are used in the right deck."
"Attack one of those weaker ones!"
The pirate fired two bursts of bullets and they all struck the 1st Urz and he fell to the ground and dissolved into particles (Christina LP: 8000 - 7300).
"I now play Cursed Gold!"
A continuous spell card appeared on the field.
"What it does will be revealed later, but for now I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my 2 monsters to facedown defense postion and that'll end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I summon my Haunted Mariner!"
As she sat the card down, a large red ship with a large red skull on its fronf appeared (ATK: 1,600).
Kelly then replied, "Thats Skull Mariner!"
Riley then replied, "This is the effect version of that old classic monster and this one is now a Water Zombie instead of a Water Warrior. I use its ability to banish 1 Water Zombie monster in my graveyard and then that monster will lose 800 ATK!"
As he took one of the Cutlasses out and banished it (ATK: 2,300 - 2,000), Urz stood up with a groan (ATK: 1,600 - 800).
"Lets do it. Attack!"
A cannon appeared in and the skull's mouth and it fired a burst of energy from it, blowing Urz to shards (Christina LP: 7300 - 6500).
Buccaneer, attack!"
The pirate charged in an slashed Garsem with his sword and he let out a groan before exploding into shards.
"Your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I summon my X-Saber Airbellum!"
As she sat the card down, a sharp clawed beast appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now play Double Summon for my X-Saber Anaperera!"
As she sat the card down, a mighty warrior with a bladed whip appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
Airbellum split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through X-Saber Anaperera, which turned into 4 white stars as well.
"I Synchro Summon...X-Saber Urbellum!"
As she sat the card down, a mighty warrior with a skull for a mask appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Lets do it. Attack his Mariner!"
The mighty warrior went in and jammed his sword into the side of the ship and then it burst into pixels (Riley LP: 7400 - 6600).
"Your turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Buccaneer to defense and then I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "Command Knight, come forth!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery knight appeared (ATK: 1,200 - 1,600) and he looked at the Synchro and nodded to him and he nodded back to her (ATK: 2,200 - 2,600).
"Command Knight, attack!"
The warrior swung his sword and a wave of flames shot out and the defending pirate burst into a cloud of steam.
"Urbellum, attack!"
The warrior went in and a a skeleton pirate stuck in a large chest appeared (DEF: 1,500) and the mighty warrior cleaved it in two and then Riley replied, "When Deadman Chest is destroyed, I can banish it to special summon another from my deck!"
As he banished the card, another of the chests appeared (ATK: 1,300).
Kelly then replied, "I'm guessing its a water remake of Yaranzo?"
"That is totally right."
Christina sighed and replied, "If you say so. I end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I bring forth Anchor Cut Throat!"
As she sat the card down, a undead pirate with a anchor on his back appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I use his ability to discard 1 card to special summon a Water Zombie from my graveyard!"
As she discarded a card, Evil Shade Buccaneer appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 2,000).
"I now activate the effect of my Skull-Faced Buccaneer that was in my graveyard with my Anchor's effect. I can tribute one Water Zombie monster I have to special summon from the graveyard!"
As Anchor Cut Throat vanished, a taller skeleton wearing a tattered pirates outfit appeared with a rusty scimitar for a weapon (ATK: 1,000).
"When he's special summoned this way, his attack becomes 2,400."
Suddenly, his sword began to glow (ATK: 1,000 - 2,400).
"I now activate the effect of my Davy Jones that is also in my graveyard. his effect is just like my Skull-Faced Buccaneer!"
As the Buccaneer and Deadman Chest vanished into particles, a skeletal pirate appeared with a anchor on its back and he had one single eye (ATK: 2,750).
Sebastian then replied, "These things are really powerful."
"Lets do it. Davy Jones, attack Urbellum!"
The demon began to glow and then a huge burst of filthy sea water and drenched the mighty warrior, blasting him into triangles.
"Buccaneer, attack!"
The other pirate went in and made a cut with his sword, blowing Command Knight into shards (Christina LP: 6500 - 5550).
Riley smiled and replied, "This deck kicks my old one's ass badly! Its your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "Since I have 4 counters on my card, I'll destroy to draw a card for each counter that was on it!"
As the spell vanished, he drew 4 cards and then he replied, "I bring forth my Cursed Cannoner!"
As he sat the card down, a chained up zombie with a cannon on its back appeared (ATK: 1,000).
"Lets do it. Cannoner, attack!"
The zombie fired a zombified cannonball that screeched and a mighty warrior appeared on the card (DEF: 100) and he blocked the cannonball from striking him down and Christina replied, "X-Saber Passiul cannot be destroyed in battle, fool."
"Damn it. I end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and she groaned (Christina LP: 5500 - 4500) and replied, "I summon my Warrior Dai Grepher!"
As she sat the card down, the mighty warrior appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I now equip my Grepher with Synchro Boost!"
Suddenly, he began to glow (ATK: 1,700 - 2,200 - LV: 4 - 5).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
X-Saber Passiul split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Dai Grepher, which turned into 5 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..X-Saber Soza!"
As he sat the card down, a mighty warrior with a tattered cape appeared (ATK: 2,500).
"I now play Block Attack!"
Suddenly, Davy Jones knelt (ATK: 800).
"Attack that thing!"
The mighty warrior made two quick slashes his sword and the horrid sea demon burst into globs of foul water.
"I'll set a card and its your turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my monsters to defense and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I summon my XX-Saber Katanios!"
As she sat the card down, a mighty warrior with red armor appeared with two katanas for weapons (ATK: 1,900).
"I now activate my facedown card, Saber Rush! This gives all of my monsters a piercing ability!"
Seabastian then replied, "Great job, Christina."
"Soza, attack his Buccaneer and Katanios will attack your Cannoner!"
The Synchro went and drove his blade into the Buccaneer and it burst into a pile of bones and then Katanios went went in and made a heavy slice with his sword, cutting Cursed Cannoneer in two. The pieces melted into a puddle of water (Riley LP: 6600 - 4400) and then another of the Cannoners appeared (ATK: 1,000).
Christina smiled and replied, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I tribute my Cannoner for my Captain Dem Bonz!"
As the Cannoner vanished, another of the undead pirates appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I now use his ability to banish another zombie to special summon a level 4 or lower Water Zombie from my graveyard!"
As he took his Cursed Cannoner and banished it, Evil Shade Cutlass appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 2,000).
"Next, I discard 1 card to special summon a banished monster!"
As he took a 2nd Cursed Gold in his hand and discarded it, a Deadman Chest appeared (ATK: 1,300).
"Next, I activate Polymerization to fuse all 3 of my monsters together!"
As the 3 monsters merged together, a huge ghost combined with the body of a skeletal dragon appeared (ATK: 3,000).
"Meet the mighty Dead Sea Ship - The Flying Dutchman!"
Kelly then replied, "Jeez."
"These monsters are really strong."
"Damn right they are! Attack his Katanios!"
A cannon came out below the ship and then it launched a barrage of ghostly cannonballs that shot out and blasted the XX-Saber monster to tiny pieces (Christina LP: 4550 - 3550).
"There you go. I End my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I play Shrink!"
Suddenly, the huge ghost craft shrank down (ATK: 3,000 - 1,500).
"Attack!"
Urz threw his sword and it headed towards the huge craft..
Riley quickly replied, "I use its ability to banish a water zombie to prevent it from being destroyed!"
He took a Evil Shade Cutlass and banished as the sword struck it (Riley LP: 4400 - 3300).
"Damn. I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I Summon my Gagagigo!"
As he sat the card down, the green-skinned reptile appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"No big deal. Dutchman, attack!"
The huge ship fired its ghostly cannonballs and they went in and Soza was blown into fragments as the attack struck him down (Christina LP: 3550 - 2750).
"Gagagigo, attack!"
The reptile went in and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and was smashed to bits as he struck it down with its fist and both discarded their current hands and both drew 5 cards and he replied, "Your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I first play Forbidden Chalice on your craft!"
Suddenly, it began to glow (ATK: 3,000 - 3,400).
"Since you have 2 monsters and I have none, I special summon my XX-Saber Gardestrike!"
Suddenly, another beastly member of the X-Saber army appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Next, I bring out my X-Saber Galahad!"
As she sat the card down, a toad-headed warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Next, I activate my facedown Ghosts From the Past! I banish 2 monsters and one of your monsters becomes weaker!"
As she took her Urz's and banished them, the craft weakened (ATK: 3,400 - 0).
"Lets do it. Galahad, attack!"
The mighty went in and jammed his weapon into the reptile's stomach and he burst into pixels.
"Gardestrike, attack!"
The beast-warrior jumped and slammed its bladed weapon into the huge craft and small explosions happened all around the huge zombie before it exploded into a shower of flames and smoke (Riley LP: 3300 - 1000).
Christina smiled and replied, "There you go. I end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and replied, "I summon my Skullboy!"
As he sat the card down, a short skeleton wearing a tattered blue robe appeared with a small broken dagger in his hand (ATK: 800).
"If I control no other monsters when I summon my Skullboy, I can special summon a banished level 3 or Water zombie monster!"
Suddenly, a Cursed Cannoner appeared (ATK: 1,000).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
Skullboy split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Cursed Cannoner, which turned into 3 white stars as well.
"I Synchro Summon...Deathbeard the Pirate!"
As she sat the card down, a large skeletal pirate appeared. He heard a white-haired beard and wore a tattered black outfit and its arms were replaced with a pistol and a sword (ATK: 2,400).
Sebastian then replied, "Damn, that thing is strong."
"Now, attack his Galahad!"
The mighty undead pirate aimed its gun armand fired a couple of shots and they shot out and Galahad exploded into triangles as the bullets struck him down (Christina LP: 2700 - 1600).
"When Deathbeard destroys a monster, One of my banished Water zombies is returned to my graveyard and I Choose not to, so its your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set another monster facedown and then I'll switch my Gardestrike to defense and then I'll now set 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Riley drew a card and he opened his field slot and replied, "I activate the field spell Graveyard of Ships!"
As she slid the card into the slot and it closed, he pushed the button and the field spell appeared (ATK: 2,400 - 2,700).
"It'll give my Water Zombie monsters 300 more attack and I summon my 2nd Haunted Mariner."
As he sat the card down, another of the haunted ships appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 1,900).
"I banish another zombie to drain your Gardestrike of 800 ATK!"
As he banished his Skull Boy, the beast-warrior stood up (ATK: 2,100 - 1,300).
"When Skullboy is banished by the effect of a water zombie I control, I get to draw a card."
He drew a card and replied, "Deathbeard, attack!"
The zombie rushed and struck the beast-warrior down with his sword, blasting it into pixels (Christina LP: 1600 - 250).
"Skull Mariner, attack!"
The zombie fired a barrage of ghostly cannonballs and a a dark robed XX-Saber with a scythe for a weapon appeared on the card (DEF: 100) and was blown to atoms as the they struck it down.
Riley then replied, "Next turn, you're through I end my turn now."
Christina quickly replied, "When XX-Saber Darksoul is destroyed, I can add any X-Saber monster from my deck to my hand!"
She searched her deck and found the card she wanted and she reshuffled and slid it into his graveyard.
"Make your move."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I summon my XX-Saber Fullhelmknight!"
As he sat the card down, a young warrior appeared (ATK: 1,300).
"I now activate Gatmuz's Emergency Call! Since I control a X-Saber, I can special summon two of them from my graveyard!"
Suddenly, X-Saber Gardestrike (ATK: 2,100) and XX-Saber Souza (ATK: 2,500). appeared.
"Next, I'll play Double Summon for my XX-Saber Boggart Knight!"
As he sat the card down, a beast-warrior that looked like the twin of Vorse Raider appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"When he's Normal Summoned, I can special summon a X-Saber from my hand and I Choose my Emmersblade!"
Suddenly, a mantis-like warrior appeared (ATK: 1,300).
Kelly then replied, "Holy crap, she's summoning them like crazy!"
Sebastian then replied, "This deck is just as good as her real one!"
"Next, I equip Synchro Boost to Fullhelmknight!"
Suddenly, she began to glow (ATK: 1,300 - 1,800) - (LV: - 3 - 4).
"I now tune Fullhelmknight with Gardestrike!"
The younger knight split into 4 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went right through Gardestrike, which split into 5 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..XX-Saber Gatmuz!"
As he sat the card down, a mighty armored knight appeared (ATK: 3,100).
"Since I control a couple of XX-Saber monsters, I special summon my XX-Saber Faultrol!"
Suddenly, the armored warrior of the X-Saber army appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Next, I play Dust Tornado!"
The wind storm began blew the field spell to pieces (ATK: 2,700 - 2,400) - (ATK: 1,900 - 1,600).
"Lets do it. XX-Saber Gatmuz, attack!"
The knight went and brought his sword down, cutting Deathbeard right down the middle with his sword. The two pieces exploded into pixels.
"Boggart Knight, attack!"
The knight went and jammed his sword into the haunted ship and it exploded into shards.
"I attack you directly with the rest of my monsters!"
XX-Saber Faultroll, Emmersblade and Soza went in and the insect warrior slashed him with its claw and the other two monsters struck him down with his sword, ending the duel (Riley LP: 1000 - 0).
Kelly then replied, "Yea, girl!"
Sebastian then replied, "Damn, this deck is awesome."
Christina then replied, "I knew it would get me a win!"
Sebastian looked at Riley and replied, "You're done for, kid!"
