Chapter 54: Saturday Morning Dueling

In his office, Shade was was having a meeting with everyone.
Slade sighed and replied, "Terrence is done too? Damn it."
Shade then replied, "We're the only ones left to duel those girls now."
Sledge then replied, "The only spy we have left is Rod."
Slade groaned and replied, "Him of all people? Has a powerful deck, but he's just such a wierd person in so many ways."
Shade then replied, "Send him out and hopefully he'll make us proud."
Sledge nodded as he began to leave and then Shade looked at Bulldog and replied, "So, what happened with our guy Clay?"
Bulldog sighed and replied, "He lost a duel on his opponets 2nd turn!"
"Don't tell me he dueled that Sally girl, did he?"
"Afraid so, sir."
Shade then replied, "That woman wiped out two of my guys in that future timeline before coming to ours."
Slade then replied, "The one that keeps pitching monsters into her graveyard to powerup her Choas Necromancer and Shadow Ghoul?"
"Yep. One time one of our guys had a VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon on the field and a Big Saturn and he had 4,000 lifepoints left, but she had about 35 cards in her graveyard and she activated two copies of Blasting the Ruins and she gave Issac 6000 points of damage in one damn turn!"
Slade nodded and replied, "She's one of their best duelists."
"Lets hope not to face her. Get your deck ready to go too, son."
"No problem, pops."
He and Bulldog left the room and when they left, he walked to his desk and opened it up, revealing his own deck and he grabbed and looked through it and he smiled evily and replied, "My deck will thrash and smash any of those pathetic duelists deck."

That night in her room, Ginny was looked at her Synchro Deck and she sighed and replied, "I love this deck to pieces. With those new warriors I added it to it, its more better then ever."
Sebastian then replied, "You've gotten over your loss, eh?"
"Can't whine about one loss for the rest of my career. It was a heartbreaker, but I had to get over and move on."
Christina smiled and replied, "Thats the true dueling spirit, Ginny. Don't let one loss get the best of you and then let it make you one bit miserable."
"SO true, girl. So true."

That night in the Minneapolis downtown area in its park, a 10 year old boy and his 9 year old sister were sitting in the playground area and were targeted by another Savage Beast with a green-colored mohawk.
The younger boy then replied, "Leave me be and let Sara go."
The gangster (Who was named Reese) laughed and replied, "You think I have shit for brains, kid? I do that and she'll get someone to arrest my ass! No damn way!"
The girl then replied, "I promise not too."
He laughed again and replied, "Not going to happen!"
"HEY!", Cindy's voice yelled out.
He turned to her and she replied, "Get the fuck away, beast!"
Reese laughed and replied, "Not a chance. THey'll make the best slaves for my group."
Cindy then replied, "No damn way, dickhead. We duel and if you win, I'll walk away and if you lose, you give up."
"Lets duel then!"
Both activated their disks and both drew 5 cards.

About 45 minutes later, Reese was on his back, moaning in pain and Cindy smiled and replied, "Pathetic."
Sara then replied, "He was one pathetic duelist."
Thr younger boy (Who's name was Chris) laughed and replied, "I could of beatened him."
Reese looked at her and replied, "Who..the hell are you?"
Cindy smiled and replied, "Cindy."
The gangster groaned and replied, "No damn way. You're the dame that crushed many of our guys in duels!"
Cindy nodded and replied, "Darn right and you can talk to them about your pathetic loss to me."
He slowly vanished into particles and she turned to the kids and she replied, "Ready to head home?"
Chris nodded and replied, "We've had enough for one night."
Sara smiled and replied, "Watching you mop the floor with him was the best part of my night."
"I enjoyed it as well, Sara."

That next morning in the dining area of the HQ, the Beasts were enjoying breakfast.
Shade sighed and replied, "So Reese dueled that girl..and get the crap kicked out of him?"
Slade nodded and replied, "He didn't have a chance in the duel, dad."
"She's a tough duelist. Tell everyone to avoid her as much as they can. I don't want anyone dueling and if they got challenge, teleport them out of her sight."
Sledge then replied, "Will do, sir."
Shade nodded and he looked at Bulldog and replied, "Anything from Zander and Colton up north?"
Bulldog then replied, "They're ready if anyone goes after them, sir."
"Good."
Suddenly, two gangsters acting like waiters came in and sat down trays of french toast, prime rib and lobster omelets and the head chef then replied, "Anything else, sir?"
Shade then replied, "More coffee and energy drinks would do us just fine, Antoine."
The chef nodded as he and the waiters left and Bulldog then replied, "He makes the best food for us."
Shade then replied, "Damn right he does."

That next night, Melissa, Caitlin and Carly were outside, enjoying the beautiful night on a picnic bench near the casino's main entrance.
Carly sighed and replied, "What a beautiful August night."
Caitlin then replied, "Its about 68 degrees right now and it feels real good."
Carly then replied, "I heard the beasts have no one left to defend themselves with and Cindy kicked the crap out of a couple of more of their guys."
Melissa then replied, "They're doing really good and they need to keep up the pace and cream the rest of them."
Suddenly, a portal formed up and a taller and younger member of the Beasts came out. He had brown hair and wore black jeans and a light white shirt and he had no tattoo's on her arm and no piercings on his arm and he had a normal Battle City-Style duel disk on his arm as well and Carly replied, "Thats a beast member? Odd."
The beast smiled and replied, "I'm Rod and I'm here to duel one of you fine ladies."
Caitlin then replied, "A beast with honor? This is a new one."
Carly then replied, "Why you here?"
"I just want a duel and to help out my team and I want to duel one of you fine ladies for a fun and awesome duel"
Melissa smiled and she stood up and replied, "You got yourself a duel, dude. Any wagers?"
Rod then replied, ""Not a single one, ladies. I just want to enjoy a fun and exciting duel."
Cailtin then replied, "This is getting wierder by the minute."
Melissa then replied, "You got yourself a duel."
Both activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards from their decks."
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Rod LP: 8000 - Melissa LP: 8000)
Rod smiled and replied, "Start us off."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I will. I'll set a card and a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I activate 1000 lifepoints to play this spell card!"
He turned the card around and Melissa then replied, "No way."
"Darn right. I bring forth a world of fun and excitment with cartoons and fun!"
As he began to glow (Rod LP: 8000 - 7000), a large book appeared.
"In other worlds, I'm bringing in...A World of Toons!"
Suddenly, the large book opened up, showing a town of somesorts.
Carly then replied, "Toon decks can be very tricky."
"I start with Toon Gemini Elf!"
As he sat the card down, two cartoon ladies appeared with a laugh (ATK: 1,900).
"I can't attack with them, so I'll set 2 cards and that'll end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I flip my Bountiful Artemis to attack postion."
As he flipped the card up, a metal fairy appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Next, I Normal Summon my Majestic Mech - Ohka without Tribute!"
As she sat the card down, a large crystal fairy-like lion appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"I play Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm begin..
Rod smiled and replied, "I don't think so, lady. I activate Curse of Royal! Since you used a card that trys to destroy 1 spell or trap card, this card negates and no payment is needed!"
Suddenly, the storm calmed down and she sighed and replied, "I attack your monster with Ohka!"
The head began to glow..
Rod then replied, "I activate ACME Anvil! This works like Sakaretsu Armor, except only in Toon World decks!"
Suddenly, a large anvil came falling down and it crushed the lion into a pile of white powder and she replied, "Darn it. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and Melissa quickly replied, "I activate Hidden Barrier! As long as this card remains on the field, you cannot attack me directly while I control a monster. I got this card after I lost to a Toon Duelist myself a while back ago."
"Whatever you say. I Summon my Toon Cannon Soldier!"
As he card down, a cartoonish version of Cannon Soldier and it gave Melissa the raspberry (ATK: 1,400).
"Next, I play Imperial Spell Custom!"
The spell card appeared.
"As long as this card remains on the field, you can't destroy my Continuous Spell Cards until this badboy is destroyed! Toon Gemini Elf, attack!"
The cartoon ladies laughed as the went and gave the metal a large kick and it shattered into broken metal (Melissa LP: 8000 - 7700).
"When they do damage to you, they discard a random card from your hand!"
The quickly ran and snagged a Cestus of Dagla and discarded it to her graveyard and Melissa groaned and replied, "Curse your ladies!"
"I'll now play Double Summon to bring out my Toon Goblin Attack Force!"
As he sat the card down, the cartoon goblin troop appeared with big grins on their faces (ATK: 2,300).
"I'll now set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I play Fiend's Sanctuary!"
Suddenly, the beady token appeared (ATK: 0).
"I tribute it for my Tephys, the Goddess of Light!"
As the token vanished into glittering particles, a mighty Fairy appearerd with a scepter in her hands (ATK: 2,400) and the toons took a step back in fear.
"You goons better be scared! Attack her Toon Gemini Elf!"
She aimed her scepter and fired a burst of light and shot out and struck the toon girls and they burst into globs of paint (Rod LP: 7000 - 6500).
She smiled and replied, "Take that! I end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I play Toon Table of Contents! Now I can look for a Manga or toon card and add it to my hand.
He took a card from his deck and placed it in his hand and then he replied, "I now activate Toon World Chapter 1: ToonSyvania!"
Suddenly the book began to glow and then a large dark castle appeared in it.
"Toon World Chapters?", Caitlin said with a confused look.
Carly then replied, "More rare cards to go with Toon World."
"This new page of Toon World gives all Toon and Manga monsters 300 ATK!"
Suddenly, Both of her toons began to glow (ATK: 1,400 - 1,700 - (ATK: 2,300 - 2,600).
"Goblins, attack!"
They rushed and clubbed the fairy with their wiffle bat weapons and she let out a cry of pain before she burst into globules of light (Melissa LP: 7700 - 7500) and then the goblins began to sleep and started to snore loudly.
"Attack directly!"
The machine began to glow and then a huge barrage of missle launchers and cannons appeared on its shoulder and they looked the ones used in the classic movie The Mask and then the machine and silly string and red punching gloves shot out and struck her (Melissa LP: 7500 - 6100).
"I now use my Toon Soldiers ability to tribute my Goblins and give you 500 damage!"
Suddenly, the goblins stood up and vanished into sparks of light and they were absorbed and when Toon Cannon Soldier fired, a burst of silly string shot out and struck her (Melissa LP: 6100 - 5600).
Rod laughed and replied, "I'm having so much fun with this duel! Your turn now, lady!"
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I summon my Hysteric Fairy!"
As he sat the card down, the glasses-wearing angel appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack his Soldier!"
She lifted her glasses and fired a two beams of red light and the they cut the soldier down the middle. The goofy machine let out a look of shock before it fell apart in two pieces and to add more comedy to it, it appeared in a transparent angel form while wearing the robe, a halo above it its head and it played a harp (Rod LP: 6500 - 6400).
Caitlin smiled and replied, "That was a bit goofy."
"There you go. I'll set a card and its your turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I summon my Harvest Angel of Wisdom!"
As she sat the card down, the jewel crusted angel appeared (ATK: 1,800) and then she replied, "I now play Double Smmon to tribute for my Zolga!"
As she sat the card down, the sand fairy appeared (ATK: 1,700).
Rod quickly replied, "I activate Toon Briefcase! This'll send your monster back to your deck!"
A large briefcase appeared and it swallowed the sand fairy and Melissa then replied, "Damn it! Attack!"
Hysteric Fairy aimed her glasses and fired a beam of light and it shot out and a Dark Rabbit appeared on the card (DEF: 1,500) and exploded into shards as the lasers struck it.
"Attack him directly!"
He went charging in..
Rod quickly replied, "I play Scapegoat!"
Suddenly, 4 sheep tokens appeared (ATK: 0 x4) and the jewel played a tune on its horn and a burst of light shout and vaporized the red sheep.
"Your turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I play another chapter of Toon World and its called Toon Dojo!"
Suddenly, a cartoonish dojo appeared in the large book.
"This card allows any Toon monster to attack the turn they're summoned! With Toon monsters, I can use tokens as tributes, so I'll tribute two of them for my Blue Eyes Toon Dragon!"
As the yellow and pink sheep tokens vanished, the cartoon form of the mighty Blue Eyes White Dragon appeared (ATK: 3,000 - 3,300).
Carly then replied, "The best toon monster in the game."
Caitlin then replied, "Stay strong, girl."
"Now, attack her Hysteric Fairy with Toon White Lightning!"
The dragon puffed before it launched a burst of energy and it shot out and atomized the fairy in a quick instant (Melissa LP: 5600 - 3900).
Rod laughed and replied, "There you go. I now play Toon Pot of Greed! I can only use this card with Toon World on it!"
He drew 2 cards and he repleid, "I Can't use or summon any of them, but I'm doing fine already. Your turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I"ll set a monster and switch my other fairy to defense and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I summon my Toonfiend Soldier!"
As he sat the card down, a cartoon form of Archfiend Soldier appeared and he had a evil grin and it had a sword as well and it began to laugh like crazy (ATK: 1,900 - 2,200).
"Lets do it. Toonfiend Soldier, attack!"
The cartoonish soldier went in and made two quick slashes of his sword, cutting through the fairy. It began to shudder before it fell apart in two pieces.
Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, attack!"
The dragon puffed up again and fired its attack and it shot out and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) before it was smashed up and they discarded their cards and drew cards apiece and he replied, "Your turn now, lady."
Melissa drew a card and replied, I'll play Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and ripped the Imperial Spell Custom card to bits.
"Next, I play, Valhalla, Hall of th Fallen!"
The fairy hall appeared.
"I use it to bring out my Splendid Venus!"
As she sat the card down, the beautiful angel of light appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Cailtin then replied, "Good monster, Melissa!"
Suddenly, the toons groaned in pain (ATK: 2,200 - 1,700) and then Blue Eyes Toon Dragon groaned in pain as well (ATK: 3,300 - 2,800).
"Next, I summon my Dunamis Dark Witch!"
As she sat the card down, the cute winged fairy appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now equip her with my 2nd Cectus of Dagla!"
Suddenly, a golden weapon appeared in her hand (ATK: 2,800 - 3,300).
"Lets do it. Venus, attack!"
She aimed her scepter and fired a huge burst of light and it shot out and the toon dragon tried to get away before the burst of light blew it to pieces and like with Toon Cannon Soldier, its transparent floated up into the sky and vanished and then she began to glow (Melissa LP: 3900 - 4400).
"Witch, attack!"
A ball of energy formed in her hand and she launched it and it struck, blowing Toonfiend Solider to shards (Rod LP: 6400 - 5700).
"Your turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I'll summon my Fairy Huntress!"
As she sat the card down, a fairy with a bow arrow filled with silver arrows appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do it. Venus, attack!"
She fired another burst of light and a Toon Mermaid appeared on the card (DEF: 1,500) before the blast vaporized it.
"Dunamis, attack!"
A ball of dark energy formed in his hand and he launched and it struck, smashing the final sheep to bits.
"Attack him directly!"
He fired a barrage of arrows and they shot out and struck Rod down (Rod LP: 5700 - 3800).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I play Book of Moon!"
Suddenly, Venus vanished and was replaced with a facedown monster.
"Next, I play Nobleman of Crossout!"
The knight appeared and jammed her sword into it and it vanished into sparks of light and then he replied, "I play FIend's Sanctuary!"
Suddenly, a beady token appeared (ATK: 0).
"I tribute it for my Toon Dark Magician Girl!"
As the toon, the toon form of the popular magician appeared with a laugh (ATK: 2,000 - 2,300).
"I thinkl I'll attack your Dunamis Dark Witch!"
She flew with a laugh and slammed her staff on her head and as she laughed like crazy, birds were flying around her head before she vanished from sight (Melissa LP: 3900 - 3400).
Rod smiled and replied, "Take that! I end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and switch my my monster to defense and that'll end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I summon the classic Archfiend Soldier!"
As hes at the card down, the fiendish soldier appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"next, I play Shield Crush!"
Suddenly, Huntress exploded into pixels.
"Toon Dark Magician Girl, attack her facedown monster!"
The toon laughed as she went in towards the facedown card and Melissa smiled and replied, "I activate Malevolent Catastrophe!"
Suddenly, the huge storm began and all of the Toon spells exploded into little pieces and then Toon Dark Magician Girl let out a cry of pain as she fell to the ground and melted into a puddle of paint.
Caitin smiled and replied, "One of the most dangerous traps in her deck!"
"Darn it. Soldier, attack!"
The soldier went in and a tiny angel appeared (DEF: 500) and the fiend sliced apart in a instant and then Melissa replied, "When Tellus the Little Angel is sent to the graveyard, I can get a Tellus Wing Token."
Suddenly, a small wing appeared (DEF: 0).
"Your turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I play Court of Justice!"
The spell card appeared.
"Since I Control a Level 1 Fairy monster, I'll special summon one from my hand now and I choose my Mokey Mokey!"
"Suddenly, the sqaure-shaped Fairy appeared (ATK: 300).
Caitlin then replied, "Cute little guy."
"Mokey Mokey.", the small Fairy yelped out.
"Next, I tribute both of Fairys for my Guardian Angel Joan!"
As the token and the little fairy vanished into pixels of light, the beauitul angel appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Rod then replied, "You using a Light Fairy only deck?"
Melissa nodded and replied, "Darn right I am. The only ones I don't use are the Arcana Force monsters. They're all a bit creepy. Destroy his Soldier!"
Her hands began to glow and then she fired a burst of light and it shot out and the footsolider was blown into triangles (Rod LP: 5700 - 4800) - (Melissa LP: 3400 - 5300).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Rod drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I summon my Meltiel, Sage of the Sky!"
As she sat the card down, the fairy of pure light appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Lets do it. Joan, attack!"
She launched another burst of light and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and was reduced to dust as the attack struck (Melissa LP: 5300 - 6000) and both discarded their hands and drew 5 cards and then Melissa replied, "Joan, attack her directly!"
"Meltiel, attack!"
The fairy swung its sword and a wave of light shot and struck him down (Rod LP: 4800 - 3200).
Melissa smiled and replied, "Duel is almost done. I'll set a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now.'
Rod drew a card and replied, "I play Spell Economics!"
The spell card appeared.
"Now, I don't have to pay to play my 2nd...Toon World!"
Suddenly, the magical pop-up book appeared.
"Next, I play Fires of Doomsday!"
Suddenly, two smokey fiend tokens appeared (DEF: 0 x2).
"Usually these tokens can only be used to summon a dark monster, but since toons are special summoned, I can tribute them for a Toon! I Tribute both of them to summon the star of my deck!"
As the tokens vanished, a odd-looking monster appeared. It looked Stardust Dragon..only smaller and it had a goofy grin and had a top hat and cane (ATK: 2,500).
"Meet the mighty Toondust Dragon!"
Caitlin then replied, "Now I've seen everything now."
Melissa then replied, "Odd looking monster."
"Darn it is. "I now play Shrink on your Joan!"
Suddenly, she shrank down (ATK: 2,800 - 1,400).
"Attack her Joan!"
He opened its mouth and to everyones suprise, a wave of banana cream pies shot out and splattered on her and she burst into globules of light when the last one hit her (Melissa LP: 6000 - 4900) and she replied, "I play Option Hunter!"
Suddenly, she glowed (Melissa LP: 4900 - 7700).
Rod smiled and replied, "You won't beat me. I end my turn now."
Melissa drew a card and replied, "I first play Emergency Provisions!"
Suddenly her Court of Justice and facedown Solar Ray dissolved into particles and she glowed (Melissa LP: 7700 - 9700) and then she replied, "Much better. I now summon my Agent of Miracles - Venus!"
As she sat the card down, the beautiful agent appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now banish the Buten in my graveyard to Make Meltiel a level 4 Tuner!"
She took the card and banished it and she replied, "I discarded with your Jar! I now tune my monsters together!"
Meltiel split into 4 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Venus, which turned into 4 white stars as well.
"I Synchro Summon..Ancient Sacred Wyvern!"
As she sat the card down, a large dragon-like Fairy appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,100).
Rod gulped and replied, "Oh, boy."
Caitlin smiled and replied, "This her kill card!"
Suddenly, it began to glow (ATK: 2,100 - 8,600).
"Time to end this! Attack his Toon!"
The huge fairy began to glow and then it launched a huge burst of light and it shot out quickly and the Toon tried to get away, but the light blast atomized him before he could get any further away (Rod LP: 3200 - 0).
Caitlin then replied, "Great dueling!"
Melissa looked at him and replied, "What aren't you vanishing?"
Rod sighed and replied, "I hate those Savage Beast jerks and I want to be a Future Fighter more then anything right now. If you ask your leader to allow me in, I'll spill more secrets of the Savage Beasts."
Carly then replied, "We'll see about that, Rod."
Melissa then replied, "I think it'll work out for all of us."
Caitlin then replied, "Lets hope this isn't a trick."

If a opponets card effect targets a "Toon" or a "Manga" you control.
