Chapter 54: Duel of the Dead

Back at the casino, Carly, Caitlin and Melissa were having a private meeting with Rod.
Carly then replied, "What is your true reason for quitting the beasts for us, young man?"
Rod sighed and replied, "Because most of Shade's crew were a bunch of dicks. Did you know I never stole one thing or commit one crime while I was with them? It didn't feel right to me at all."
Carly nodded and replied, "Okay then."
Melissa then replied, "You're telling me that your whole deck was made before you joined them assholes?"
Rod nodded and replied, "It took me quite awhile to get the cards I wanted for my deck, but it was worth it because its a strong deck and I'm glad to be having it."
Caitlin then replied, "Well done with your honesty, my friend."
Carly then replied, "Which timeline are you from?"
"The future one, madam. I was apart of Shade's future crew before he asked me to come here. I had to leave my girlfriend and she understood and I really do miss her alot right now."
"What's here name?"
Rod then replied, "Sheena Jacobs is her name and she's a good duelist like me as well. We've dueled together and its gone well. My Toon deck is my main deck and I keep a simple Toolbox warrior deck for backup when I duel with her."
Carly then replied, "Is she a beast?"
He sighed and relied, "Not right now and she didn't know I was coming here."
Carly then replied, "We can wipe your name from their list so that way Shade would never know you're with his crew at any time."
"That would be amazing."
Carly looked at Melissa and replied, "Call Jeb up and tell him everything and tell him its a order from myself and no one else."
Melissa nodded as she got up and left with Caitlin and Carly looked at Rod and replied, "Would Sheena be proud if she knew you were a Future Fighter?"
"Darn right she would be. Her mom Ingrid is one of your sages."
Carly looked at him with shock and she replied, "Is Colbie your sister then?"
"Yep. She's my little sister and I'm older then here by only 2 years."
Carly then replied, "That is too cool to hear about. We'll get my tech guy here and we'll take care of the rest for you, young man."
"This means alot to me and I really thank you."
"No problem at all, young man."

Later on that next day in the HQ, The girls were enjoying their breakfast.
Christina then replied, "For being creeps, they can sure serve some decent food."
Ginny then replied, "That faster we cream these idiots, the better we are."
Lucas then replied, "I want to duel next, ladies. I've been waiting to duel one of those assholes and I'm ready to do so."
Christina looked at him and replied, "You have a great deck, so that's not a problem."
Sebastian then replied, "We'll finally see that special family card."
Lucas smiled and replied, "Its a decent card and you'll like it."

Later that morning in the casino, Rod was sitting on a large metal chair and his head was covered with somesort of metal and wired dome. Carly, Caitlin and Melissa were watching Jeb finish up the last adjustments needed to get Rod's Savage Beast memory wiped out.
Rod then replied, "Are you sure this is a safe idea?"
Jeb then replied, "We've had to do this to about 10 different former Beasts that wanted their memory of this group and their group eliminated so they can be normal citizens before, Rod. You'll be okay."
Carly then replied, "I have to be there at all times when it does happen, Rod. Just sit there and relax."
Jeb nodded and replied, "Once I activate the power in about 2 minutes, you'll won't hear our voices at all and it'll go quiet until the process is over and it takes about 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your brain waves."
Rod then replied, "I'm okay with that, sir. Activate it now."
Jeb nodded and he pushed a few buttons and then Rod grunted as the power was adding to the helmet and Caitlin looked at Melissa and replied, "Did any of those people suffer on side effects?"
Melissa then replied, "They had minor headaches, but nothing bad."
Jeb pushed a few buttons and he replied, "Power at the right levels."
The helmet began to glow dark red now and then a minute after that, it powered down and Caitlin replied, "Is it done already?"
Jeb then replied, "Yep and lets hope for the best. Rod, take off the helmet and sat on the stand to your left."
The young man moaned in pain as he stood up and took it off and he looked around and replied, "Where am I?"
Carly then replied, "Your in the current HQ of the Future Fighters, young man. I'm Carly and I'm the leader!"
Rod smiled and replied, "My sis and mom are members and is there any chance I can be one too?"
Carly smiled back and replied, "Yes there is, son. You promise to fight for justice for the future and everything good while crushing those Savage Beast assholes?"
Rod saluted her and repleid, "Yes ma'am. I never liked those morons and I never will, madam."
"Good to here. Meet me in a week and we'll talk about your sage duel."
Rod smiled back and replied, "Yes, ma'am."
Suddenly, a portal opened up and she replied, "Jeb, lead him to Ingrid and Colbie and take this machine back as well."
Jeb nodded as the machine that did the job vanished into particles which flew into the portal and then they left as well and Carly then replied, "I'm glad that worked good once again."
Caitlin nodded and replied, "So am I, Carly."

Back at the beast HQ, Jacob was going over her deck one last time before his duel against the next duelist.
He nodded and replied, "My deck rocks and I can't wait to crush whoever is next! I defeated Zander and that was one of my best thrills as a duelist right now."
He looked at his 6 card Extra Deck and he nodded and replied, "Can't wait to kick some total ass!"

That night, Lucas and the girls made it outside of the door and they pounded on it and Lucas replied, "I want to duel!"
Suddenly, it quickly opened up and they walked inside and the whole area transformed into a graveyard that was completey covered in dark-red fog!
Christina looked around and she gulped and replied, "This is exactly that time that duelist Bonz dueled Yami Bakura in the cemetary!"
Sebastian sighed and replied, "After his ring was placed away forever, Bonz and everyone else that suffered because of him were released and lived normal lives."
Suddenly, the looked to the middle of the graveyard and Jacob slowly rose from it with his duel disk on his arm and he replied, "Who's my victim tonight?"
Lucas then replied, "You're going to me my victim tonight, dude."
Jacob smiled and replied, "Lets duel already."
As the girls sat down on nearby tombstones, the two duelists activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Jacob LP: 8000 - Lucas LP: 8000)
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I summion my Cyber Dragon Drei!"
As he sat the card down, a smaller form of the mighty machine appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack his facedown monster!"
The eyes began to lit up and Jacob quickly replied, "I activate A Feint Plan."
The machine's eye color died down and he sighed and replied, "Your turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I flip my facedown monster up."
As he flipped the card up, Snake Hair appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"Next, I summon my Dragon Zombie."
As he sat the card down, the decayed and undead form of Crawling Dragon appeared with a roar (ATK: 1,600).
"Next, play Polymerization to fuse my 2 monsters together."
As the two zombies merged together, a huge mammoth made of golden bones appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Meet the mighty Great Mammoth of Goldfine."
Christina then replied, "Wow."
"Attack his Drei."
The huge mammoth went and crushed the machine to pieces with its feet (Lucas LP: 8000 - 7600).
"Your move now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "Summon Zombie Master."
As he sat the card down, the undead spellgiver appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Discard 1 card to bring Snake Hair from graveyard."
As he took a Blue-Blooded Oni and discarded it, Snake Hair appeared with a hiss (ATK: 1,500).
"Now I overlay them."
Zombie Master and Snake turned into black orbs and a portal opened, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon. Appear now..Deadclops."
As he sat the card down, a tall zombie with one large appeared with muscular arms and its rotted skin was starting to peel (ATK: 1,900).
"Next, I use a Material monster and select a monster and when that monster destroys a monster in battle, any battle damage it does is reduced to zero and you take 800 damage and I choose my Deadclops and I now attack your facedown monster first with my fusion monster."
The huge mammoth charged in and a Shining Angel appeared on the card (DEF: 800 ) was stomped flat when its fist slammed down on it and then a 2nd one appeared and then the Xyz went in and punched with its fist, blowing Shining Angel to pieces (Lucas LP: 7600 - 6800) and then Lucas replied, "I special summon my Proto-Cyber Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, the weaker Cyber Dragon appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"Your turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I play Cyber Repair Plant! While I have a Cyber Dragon in my graveyard, I can activate one of two effects and before you ask, Drei is Considered a Cyber Dragon while in the graveyard and the effect I'm going to use its to add 1 Light machine monster from my deck!"
He took a monster from his deck and placed it in his hand and then he replied, "I now summon my searched Cyber Dragon Zwei!"
As he sat the card down, another smaller form of the mighty machine appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Next, I reveal a spell in my hand to allow it to become a Cyber Dragon like my Proto-Cyber Dragon is with its effect!"
He turned it around and it was a Polymerization card and he replied, "I use it!"
As he played the card, the two machines merged together and then Cyber Twin Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Christina then replied, "Great move, dad!"
"Thanks, hon. Attack them both!"
The machine let out a huge burst of hot flames and they shot out and reduced Deadclops to a steaming pile of hot ash and then the flames struck again, reducing the mammoth to a pile of charred bones (Jacob LP: 8000 - 6500).
"Take that, you beast of a punk! I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll attack!"
The flames shot out and a Mezuki appeared on the card (DEF: 800) and was reduced to charred bones as well.
"Attack directly!"
The other head began to power up and then Jacob quickly replied, "I activate Defense Draw."
The flames shot out and struck a barrier and he drew a card.
"Make your move now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I summon my Plaguespreader Zombie."
as he sat the card down, the bloated zombie tuner appeared with a moan (ATK: 400).
"Next, I banish Mezuki to bring back my Dragon Zombie."
As he banished the chosen card, the decayed dragon appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together."
The tuner split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Dragon Zombie, which turned into 3 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..Undead Unicorn."
As he sat the card down, the undead beast appeared with a weak neigh (ATK: 2,200).
Kelly then replied, "Hideous."
"I use the effect to banish a monster from my graveyard and then all non-zombie monsters loses ATK equal to the level of the monster times 300."
As he took the Snake Hair and banished it, the fusion began to rust up (ATK: 2,800 - 1,600).
"Attack it."
The machine charged in and slammed its broken horn into the machine and sparks flew from where it struck and then it exploded into scrap (Lucas LP: 6800 - 6200).
"Your turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "One monster facedown and that's my turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I now play Foolish Burial."
He took a monster from his deck and discarded it and then he replied, "I now summon my Deadclaw."
As he sat the card down, a rotted corpse hand with long black fingernails appeared (ATK: 0).
"I now equip it to my Undead Unicorn."
Suddenly, the claw jumped in the air and landed on the back of the mighty zombie.
"My zombie has a piercing effect now. Attack his facedown monster on the right."
The undead unicorn charged in and a Cyber Dragon Core appeared on the card (DEF: 1,500) and the unicorn struck with its broken hair and then a weaker machine simply fell apart into a pile of broken metal (Lucas LP: 6200 - 5500).
"Your turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I flip my facedown monster up!"
As he flipped the card up, Cyber Dragon Zwei appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I now flip Monster Reincarnation to treat Zwei as a Cyber Dragon."
He did so and then replied, "I activate it now."
As he took a FalchionĪ² and discarded it, he grabbed his Cyber Dragon Drei and then summoned it (ATK: 1,800) and then he replied, "When normal summoned, All Cyber Dragon monsters level become 5!"
Suddenly, both began to glow LV: 4 x2 - LV: 5).
"Next, I summon my 2nd Proto-Cyber Dragon!"
Suddenly, another the weaker forms of Cyber Dragon appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"Next, I overlay my Drei and Zwei!"
Both turned into glowing orbs of light and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these 2 monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me..Cyber Dragon Nova!"
As he sat the card down, the mighty Xyz form of Cyber Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Next, I use its ability to banish a Cyber Dragon to give it 2100 Attack!"
As the weaker machine shattered to bits, the Xyz began to glow (ATK: 2,100 - 4,200).
"Next, I play Mystical Space Tyhoon!"
The storm storm began and the undead claw shattered to pixels.
"Attack that thing!"
The machine began to glow and then it launched a huge burst of fiery energy and shot out and blew Undead Unicorn to little pieces (Jacob LP: 6500 - 4400).
"Your turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now.'
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I summon my Cyber Phoenix!"
As he sat the card down, the metallic phoenix appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"Lets fight this out! Nova, attack!"
The mighty machine began to glow and then it launched its fiery energy and it shot out and atomized Jacob's facedown Pyramid Turtle (DEF: 1,400) with ease and then a 2nd one appeared (DEF: 1,400).
"I'll set a card and its your turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I summon my 2nd Zombie Master."
As he sat the card down, the undead zombie warlock appeared once again (ATK: 1,800).
"I discard 1 card to bring back the Pain Painter I discarded earlier."
As he took a Beast of the Pharaoh and discarded it, a zombie wearing torn overalls and a bandana appeared with a large paintbrush in his hand (ATK: 400).
"I use his ability to make the level of all my other Zombies the same as his and he's a level 2 monster."
Suddenly, Zombie Master and Pyramid Turtle began to glow (LV: 4 - LV: 2).
"I now tune all 3 of my monsters together."
The bloated tuner split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Pyramid Turtle and Zombie Master, which turned into a total of 4 white stars.
"I Synchro Zombie-Skull."
As he sat the card down, the undead form of the famous Fiend used by the King of Games in his dueling days appeared (ATK: 2,500).
Christina then replied, "Whoa."
"I'm not done yet, either. Next, I place 1 card to top of my deck top special summon my Plaguespreader Zombie."
As he took a Clown Zombie and placed it on top, the bloated tuner appeared (ATK: 400).
"Next, I play Book of Life to bring back my Zombie Master."
Suddenly, the undead spellcaster appeared.
"Banish your Cyber Twin Dragon."
He took the fusion monster and banished it and then he replied, "Next, I tune my Plaguespreader Zombie with Zombie Master."
The bloated tuner split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Zombie Master, which turned into 4 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..Revived Ruler Ha Des."
AS he sat the card down, the undead counterpart of Dark Ruler Ha Des appeared with a laugh (ATK: 2,450).
"I attack now. Ha Des, attack Phoenix."
He opened his hands and launched a wave of green flames and Cyber Phoenix was blown to scrap as the flames struck it.
"Archfiend Zombie-Skull attacks with Blightning Strike."
The tattered wings of the Zombie began to glow and then a huge burst of lightning shot out and struck the huge machine and ripped through it. Sparks flew from before the huge Xyz collapsed into a pile of broken metal (Lucas LP: 5500 - 3850).
"Your turn now."
Lucas drew a car dand replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll do it for now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll attack."
The zombie skull began to glow and then it launched a burst of electricity and a Cyber Larva appeared on the card (DEF: 800) and was blown into tiny pieces and then a 2nd one appeared and the Ha Des zombie fired its flames and melted the 2nd one and then a 3rd one appeared (DEF: 800)
"I end my turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I now play Cyber Fusion! This Overload Fusion for Light Machine monsters! I banish the Cyber Dragon and two Cyber Larva's in my graveyard and my final Cyber Larva to summon one of the rarest Cyber Dragon fusions ever!"
As Cyber Larva vanished into particles, a much larger Cyber Dragon appeared. I looked Cyber Laser Dragon, except it now had two large missile launchers on its sides and its tail had a missile launcher on it as well (ATK: 3,000).
"This is my Cyber Blitz Dragon!"
Christina then replied, "Awesome card, dad!"
Kelly nodded and replied, "Cool card."
"Attack all of his monsters and it can thanks to its abilty and it also takes 300 of your lifepoints for each one it destroys as a well!"
The machine launchers began to opened and then a huge barrage of missiles shot out and struck. Revived King Ha Des exploded into a fiery cloud of green smoke and the larger Synchro was smashed to pieces as the missiles struck it and his facedown Vampire Lady was blown to pieces as well (Jacob LP: 4400 - 2450).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and thats my turn."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll attack!"
The huge machine fired another barrage of missiles and a Spirit Reaper appeared and the missiles did nothing to it.
"Damn it. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I play Treasured Cards from Heaven."
Both drew the right number of cards and Jacob replied, "I summon my 2nd Dragon Zombie."
As he sat the card down, another of the undead dragons appeared.
"I now play Polymerization to fuse my 2 Zombie monsters together to bring out my rarest card."
As they merged together, a huge zombie-like dragon appeared with a roar (ATK: 3,000).
"Meet the mighty and powerful Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon."
Ginny groaned and replied, "Heard of that thing and its hard to beat and its special ability is a killer too."
"I now play Violet Crystal on my Zombie!"
Suddnely, a large violet crystal appeared on its arm (ATK: 3,000 - 3,300).
"Now, attack."
Suddenly, it began to glow and it launched a huge burst of dark energy and flames and they shout and struck and a explosion happened (Lucas LP: 3500 - 3200) and the as the smoke died down, it was still there, but it had dents and sparks were flying from it and too everyone's shock, a zombie counterpart-like token was on his side (ATK: 3,000).
Ginny then repleid, "Thats the abiltiy."
"Dark Soul Token now attacks."
The fake machine fired a burst of missiles that looked small ghosts and they shrieked as they shot out and smashed into its target and then the it exploded into scrap (Lucas LP: 3200 - 200).
Christina then repleid, "Dad, no!"
Ginny then replied, "He can do it, guys."
"This duel is almost mine. Your turn now."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I activate Dimension Reversion! Now, we must return all banished monsters to our decks!"
They both took their banished cards and returned them to their decks and then he replied, "I banish the Cyber Dragon Core in my graveyard to special summon one from my deck!"
As he took the card and banished it, Cyber Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"I summon my 2nd Zwei!"
As he sat the card down, another of the smaller Cyber Dragon machines appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I flip my spell card around!"
He did so and it was a Photon Generator Unit and he replied, "I now play the card!"
As he played the card and the two monsters merged rogether, Cyber Laser Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Say goodbye to your token!"
The machine aimed and fired its laser and shot out and went cleanly through the undead machine and then it simply collapsed into black dust.
"I now play Shrink!"
Suddenly, it shrank down (ATK: 3,300 - 1,750).
"Destroy it!"
The machine aimed and fired its laser and shot out and went cleanly through the chest of the undead dragon. It roared in pain before it exploded into black globules (Jacob LP: 2450 - 1800).
Lucas smiled and replied, "Take that. I'll set a couple of cards facedow and that'll end my turn now."
Jacob drew a card and replied, "I play Book of Life.'
Suddenly, Sprit Reaper appeared (DEF: 200).
"Banish your Blitz."
He did so and replied, "I tribute it for my Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon."
As the reaper vanished, the undead form of Red-Eyes Black Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"I now play my Shrink."
Suddenly, the machine weakened (ATK: 2,400 - 1,200).
"Finish him off by attacking that machine."
The undead dragon opened its mouth and it shot out its attack it struck the machine and then it rusted up before exploding into dust and Lucas quickly replied, "I activate Defense Draw!"
He drew a card.
"Your turn now, I guess."
Lucas drew a card and replied, "I play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Cyber Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Next, I play Burial from the Different Dimension to return Core to it!"
He took the card and slid it into his graveyard and he replied, "Since Core and Zwei are Cyber Dragons in my graveyard, I play my fCybernetic Fusion Support and give up half of my lifepoints to fuse my Cyber Dragon with the Zwei and Core in my graveyard!"
As they all merged together and he glowed (Lucas LP: 200 - 100), the mighty Cyber End Dragon appeared (ATK: 4,000).
"Next up, I play Rare Metalmorph!"
Suddely, the machine began to glow (ATK: 4,000 - 4,500).
Ginny then repleid, "Great ending!"
"Thanks! Attack his Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon with Super Strident Blaze!"
The heads began to glow and then they launched the fiery blaze of death and shot out and the mighty Zombie Dragon roared in pain before the fiery blaze consumed it and then when it the flames died down, its charred and blackened body fell to the ground and exploded into pixels (Jacob LP: 1800 - 0).
Christina smiled and replied, "Great win, dad!"
Jacob began to glow and he sighed and replied, "The rest of the crew will waist all of you."
Sudddenly, he vanished into dark particles and then a key and the Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon card fell to the ground.
Ginny replied, "I'll get'em."
She walked towards it and as she grabbed the key, the card turned into a pile of black dust and she replied, "Very odd."
Suddenly, the graveyard turned back into a normal arena and Kelly sighed and replied, "Glad that's over with."
Christina then replied, "Lets go rest now, gang."

Once per turn: Remove 1 Xyz Material monster and select 1 Zombie-type monster you control. When the selected monster destroys a monster in battle: negate any battle damage it would down and inflict 800 damage to your opponet. You can only control 1 "Deadclops" at a time.
Deadclaw
Zombie/Union/Effect/Dark/ATK: 0/DEF: 0/1 Star
Once per turn: you can target 1 Zombie-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. when the equipped monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. (A monster can only by equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)
Cyber Fusion / Normal Spell Card
Banish, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, the Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a LIGHT Machine-Type Fusion Monster Card, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) When a LIGHT Machine-Type Fusion monster special summoned with this cards effect is destroyed in battle while this card is in your graveyard, you can shuffle this card and 1 banished LIGHT Machine-type monster into your deck.
Cyber Blitz Dragon
Machine/Fusion/Effect/Light/ATK: 3,000/DEF: 3,000/10 Stars
"Cyber Dragon" + 3 LIGHT Machine-Type Monsters
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: negate the effect of one card on the field This card can attack all monsters your opponet controls once, but cannot attack directly if this effect is used and when this card destroys a monster in battle: Inflict 300 damage to your opponet.
