"Well, no activated tower." Jeremy said, typing on the supercomputer's keyboard.
"Do you think X.A.N.A. deactivated the tower after he cut the power, kinda like with Odd's headaches?" Aelita asked, causing Odd to shudder slightly at the thought of the pain he had earlier experienced.
"It's possible, but doing that takes a lot of power, especially after X.A.N.A.'s last attack involving that same tactic." Jeremy replied, turning to face the others.
"Maybe we should go to Lyoko anyway, just in case something is happening." William proposed, facing the group.
Jeremy took a moment to consider William's idea, replying: "I don't think that will help much. Since we don't even know what sector the tower would be activated in, sending you anywhere would just be a waste of time."
"Then what are we supposed to do until X.A.N.A. activates a tower?" Odd asked.
"We wait for Yumi, then we'll go from there." Jeremy said, turning his chair to face the monitor again.

Jim walked into the maintenance room, his mind drifting off to his days as an electrician.
'Ahh, I miss the smell of electricity!' Jim thought as he opened the circuit breaker. 'Looks like there was a short somewhere. Quick fix!'
Jim moved every switch back into position, his fingers moving quickly across the black labeled switches, his prior experience serving him well.
'All that's left is the main switch.' He thought, moving the main switch into the "off" position. As he flicked it into "on" position, a bolt of electricity knocked him back, a black, ghostly cloud emerging from the circuit breaker, the eye of X.A.N.A., although slightly deformed, was apparent on its chest.
The specter floated over Jim's body for a moment, finally entering into his core. Jim's eyes light up, the symbol of X.A.N.A. flashing across them like static before fading away. He got up, walked out of the maintenance room and began his walk to the sewers.
—
Yumi ran along a dirt path in the forest, starting to feel fatigued from her long sprint all the way from her house. She turned the corner leading to the sewer grate when her phone vibrated in her pocket.
Yumi pulled her phone out of her pocket, coming to an abrupt stop as she answered.
"Hello?" She asked, her breathing heavy.
"Yumi, it's Ulrich. Where are you?"
Yumi leaned up against the tree next to her, allowing herself to take a short break from her epic journey. "About to enter the sewers. Sorry it took so long, I couldn't get out of my house because of my parents."
"You'll have to explain later, X.A.N.A. just activated a tower." Ulrich said, entering the elevator with the others as they moved to the scanner room.
"Got it, I'm on my way." Yumi said, using her arms to push off of the tree and back into an up-right position.
Yumi looked out ahead of her, noticing a figure in the distance. The shadowy figure sprinted at her with an incredible speed, it's body flashing in frames behind it.
"Ulrich, I think we have a problem." Yumi said, the figure finally clearing up as it approached her. "I think Jim has been X.A.N. ."
As she finished, Jim stopped running and stuck his arm out. A bolt of electricity emitted from his arm, striking her phone. As Yumi fell to the ground, only a small cloud of dust existed from what was once her phone.
She looked up in terror as Jim stood over her, another burst of electricity charging in his hand.
—
"Yumi... Yumi! Yumi, are you there!" Ulrich yelled, looking at his phone.
"What's wrong?" Aelita asked, concern written on her face and in her voice as she spoke.
"Yumi is at the entrance of the sewers fighting Jim." Ulrich said.
"Jim? Did she ask him about something he would 'rather not talk about' or something?" Odd asked, finding humor only because he was unable to realize how serious this situation was.
The elevator doors opened slowly. Ulrich continued to stand in the elevator, attracting William's attention.
"You comin'" William asked, Ulrich's head turning to face him.
"I'm going back to help Yumi." Ulrich said, pressing the button to send the elevator up. "Beat X.A.N.A. extra hard for me!" He yelled, causing William to grin.
—
"Scanner William, scanner Odd, scanner Aelita."
"Transfer William, transfer Odd, transfer Aelita."
"Virtualization."
The three landed on a purple tinted mountain-top. The ground was too steep for any of them to keep their balance, causing them each to tumble down the side of the landmass.
William and Aelita met a harsh landing on a small, flat area below the mountain, an island surrounded by moving rocks. Odd used his claws to grab the rock, slowing his decent enough for a controlled landing, his feet hitting the ground with a light *thud*.
"Jeremy, would you mind explaining exactly what just happened?" Odd said, walking to the others who were just now getting up.
"I'm not entirely sure... you guys landed pretty far away from where I programmed for you to land."
"Do you think that maybe the virtualization program is corrupted too?" Aelita asked, thinking her idea over.
Jeremy opened the source code for the virtualization program, noticing a few small bits of code that shouldn't be there. "It looks like you were right, Aelita." Jeremy deleted the foreign codes, but they quickly regenerated. "It looks like I have my work cut out for me fixing this. I'll have to search through every file and program and see just how badly the Supercomputer was effected."
"So, when you say 'pretty far away', just how far away do you mean?" William asked.
"Well, to put it simply: you're on one side of the sector and the activated tower is on the other side." Jeremy replied, frantically working through an enormous amount of data on his screen.
"How about our vehicles, Einstein?" Odd asked, hoping to avoid a prolonged trek across the Mountain Sector.
"Sorry, but until I've looked through every file I'm not going to run any programs, just in case X.A.N.A. left us any surprises."
"Well, we better start walking." Aelita said, activating her wings. She made a quick jump into the air, performing a roll on the way up.
"Hey, that's not fair!" Odd complained, stomping his foot. "When do I get wings?"
"Quit complaining, Odd. A little exercise might just do you good, put some muscles on that scrawny body of yours." William said as he began walking, laughing along the way.
"Hey, I'm not scrawny, I'M SVELTE!" Odd yelled, running to catch up to his friend.
