A/N: Hello my lovely readers, and I hope you are well :) Thank you so much for the reviews on my last story, I'm really loving writing about Morganders now! This story is for Eeliab8 who requested Nick and Warrick pranking Greg when he first started working at the lab. Eeliab8 actually wrote a story about this as well which was fun and you should check it out :) Enjoy!

Summary – Nick and Warrick decide to welcome Greg into the crime lab family with a little hazing prank…

Hazing

Greg Sanders had been working at the Las Vegas crime lab for around three weeks, and in that time he had grown particularly close to Nick and Warrick. The older CSIs liked having Greg around, he was always entertaining during a long shift, and would never fail to make them smile. However, Nick and Warrick both felt it was time they welcomed Greg into the family properly.

One night, Nick and Warrick were sat whispering to each other in the break room like two devious school boys, when Catherine entered the room to get her coffee and gave them a suspicious look.

"You two are plotting something" she said, placing her hands on her hips.

"Aw Cath, how could you ever think we were up to no good?" Nick asked fluttering his eyelashes at her, whilst Warrick tried to look as innocent as possible.

Catherine smirked "You think I don't know how this works with you boys? I went to college too ya know, you're thinking about hazing the new kid! Don't you think you're a little past that stage of immaturity now?"

"We went through the same thing when we first came here" Warrick pointed out "C'mon, it's tradition!"

"I told you guys to play nice!" Catherine said like a scolding mother, and Nick and Warrick folded their arms and pouted like sulkily children "Greg is the best tech we've ever had and I don't want you two scaring him away" she said sternly.

"We know Catherine, he's awesome" Nick said truthfully "but we just want to make him officially part of the team"

Catherine sighed and rolled her eyes in defeat "I'm staying out of this, but if I hear you've hurt that kid you'll have hell to pay, capisce?"

"Yes mom, we wouldn't physically hurt him" Warrick moaned and rolled his eyes, but Catherine smiled and left the room.

"I guess boys will be boys" she muttered to herself.

"So, what exactly do you have in mind?" Warrick asked Nick once they were alone again.

"Well…" Nick smiled; he went on to explain his plan.

Growing up with six other siblings, Nick had planned a fair few tricks before, but he'd also been the butt of many of them since he was the youngest, which was why he was going to enjoy having Greg as a little brother to tease, but also someone he could look out for.

"Okay, sounds good" Warrick said with a smile "Let's get to work…"

Greg had been working away in his lab all night, blissfully unaware of the scheming going on around him. He was currently running some evidence for Catherine, and sorting out some paperwork. It had been quite a slow day, so the young man hoped there would be some excitement heading his way sometime soon…

Greg had really enjoyed his fist few weeks at the Las Vegas crime lab, and felt like he couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people to work with. Catherine already reminded him of his mom, Brass and Grissom could be a little intimidating, but they were also very wise, and Nick and Warrick were like the two older brother' he'd always wanted.

The printer beeped to tell Greg his results were ready and as the lab tech began to shuffle though the papers, his phone began to vibrate in his pocket. Greg pulled the device out and flipped the top open to see he had a message from an unknown number. Greg opened the message curiously and frowned at the suspicious words:

Did you find it? I dumped the rest of it in the Desert.

"What the hell?" Greg mumbled to himself. Whoever it was had clearly gotten the wrong number, but the lab tech didn't at all like what the message was implying.

He considered telling Catherine or Grissom, but decided against it, not wanting to make a big deal out of what was probably nothing. Instead, Greg just text back that they had the wrong number and tried to get on with his work , but the young man's mind kept wondering back to the mysterious message, and what 'it' could be.

Greg was on his break a few hours later, the text having slipped his mind for now, when his phone buzzed again as he was stirring his coffee. The lab rat got a little anxious when he saw it was the same unknown number, but his curiosity soon got the better of him as he opened the new message.

No, you asked me to do it, don't back out on me now. I left you a souvenir.

"This is getting really weird" Greg mumbled to himself, and his mind went into overload thinking of what the messages meant, but there was only one overriding conclusion for him.

The rest of his shift, Greg found it really hard to concentrate as the words from the text messages began to plague his mind. He knew he hadn't done anything wrong; yet somehow felt he'd done something he couldn't remember to be receiving the messages.

Wanting to put the whole ordeal behind him, Greg headed straight to the locker room the second his watch beeped to tell him his shift was over. He wanted to go home and rest, and if he got another text, he would tell someone and deal with it in the morning.

Still deep in thought, Greg pulled his locker door open as usual and reached in to pull out his jacket. However, the young man grew confused when he instead came in contact with a plastic bag. Pulling his hand back, Greg's eyes went wide and his face grew pale at the sight before him.

Inside the bag, was a human head. Wide soulless eyes stared back at Greg, with blue tinted lips and bruises and blood all over its face. Suddenly, the texts made a lot more sense, and Greg couldn't help the cry of horror which escaped from his lips.

The lab tech slammed his locker door shut and ran from the room. He ran to Grissom's office and burst into the room. Grissom and Catherine were sat at the desk looking at some files when they both looked up at Greg with shocked expressions at his rushed entrance. He was shaking a bit and looked extremely pale.

"Head, there's a human head!" Greg exclaimed pointing out of the room.

Catherine and Grissom exchanged a confused look before turning back to the lab tech. "Greg, calm down" Grissom said soothingly "Just take a deep breath, and tell us what's bothering you"

Greg nodded his head vigorously, and did as Grissom suggested "I-I want to get my jacket from my locker, a-and there was a human head inside" the young man explained.

"Interesting" was Grissom's only response as he pulled on some gloves and headed over to take a look. Catherine placed a comforting hand on Greg's back before guiding him out the room.

Once they were stood outside Greg's locker, the lab tech took a tight hold on Catherine's arm as Grissom opened the door. The supervisor smirked and reached inside, bringing out the bag, Greg shied away.

"Greg, this is a dummy's head with a bit of make-up and paint all over it" Grissom explained as he took the head out of the bag and held it up. "See"

Greg came out from behind Catherine and approached the head, prodding it just to make sure. He was relieved and even more confused at the same time "I don't understand" he said quietly "Who would put that in my locker?"

Catherine sighed "I think I have a pretty good idea…"

Warrick and Nick were still in the break room trying to control their laughter after they'd heard Greg's scream and then seen the young man running out of the locker room just a few minutes ago.

"Man, his face!" Warrick snickered.

"Yeah, I know" Nick said with a chuckle "We so should have filmed that"

"Nice work, bro" Warrick said with a smile and the pair exchanged a high five.

"Well, I'm glad you two are pleased with yourselves"

Both men winced at the sound of the familiar annoyed tone and turned to see Catherine glaring at them with her hands on her hips, and Greg stood beside her with his arms folded, scowling in an annoyed expression Nick and Warrick hadn't seen on his face before.

"We were just welcoming you into the family, Greggo" Nick said sheepishly.

"Well it wasn't very funny!" Greg snapped, taking Nick and Warrick by surprise. It wasn't their intention to make him upset like that.

"We're sorry, Greg" Warrick spoke truthfully "We just wanted to mess around with our little brother." The edge of Greg's lips twitched up at this; it felt kind of good they felt so close to him so fast "It was well executed though right? No pun intended" Warrick smirked.

Greg rolled his eyes "Well, you got me, I give you that" he said with a lopsided smile "But I just want you both to know this…" he suddenly narrowed his eyes darkly and his voice grew low "I will get you back. You won't know where, and you won't know when. But I'll be plotting, and it could be in a few days…a few weeks…a few years...and eventually the paranoia will get to you. I'll get you both when you're least expecting it, and then BAM! You will feel the full force of my revenge"

With that, the young lab tech stalked out of the room, leaving Nick and Warrick speechless, and Catherine smiling at them slyly.

"All I got to say is, you get what's coming to you" she smirked, before leaving the room too.

Warrick and Nick shared a look "I think we just got a first look at the kid's dark side" Warrick said, still a little in shock.

"Yeah…" Nick agreed "Ya know, I think it's best we stay on Greg's good side for a few days…and I mean be super nice to him…"
